YOUR GOVERNMENT IN ACTION

The senate health care proposal cuts $100 billion from Medicare Advantage. This is confirmed by the Congressional Budget Office to reduce benefits to seniors in that program. The Senator writing the bill wants insurance companies prohibited from telling their policy holders.

I just returned from an appointment with my wife's doctor and have been unable to confirm what he told us. Perhaps someone can can get confirmation. If correct this is unbelievable.

The proposed health care legislation reduces Medicare reimbursement for Cardiology and Cancer treatment, but leaves Dermatology intact. So if you have a rash your doctor will be paid.

However, if you suffer from a heart problem or have cancer you might have trouble finding a doctor.
