Governor Larry Hogan Unveils Medal of Honor Display at the Maryland State House

Recognized Two Medal of Honor Recipients for Their Heroic Service

ANNAPOLIS, MD –
Governor Larry Hogan was today joined by Lt. Governor Boyd Rutherford, Senate President Thomas V. “Mike” Miller, Jr., Speaker of the House Mike Busch, veterans, and state officials with military service for the unveiling of the Medal of Honor display at the State House. Two Medal of Honor recipients, First Lieutenant Brian Thacker (Army) of Wheaton, Md. and Colonel Harvey “Barney” Barnum (Marine Corps) of Reston, Va., attended the ceremony and were recognized for their heroic service. This display recognizes Medal of Honor recipients and celebrates National Medal of Honor Day, which is recognized annually on March 25.

“Later this year, here in Annapolis, we will have the privilege to honor those American heroes who went above and beyond the call of duty,” said Governor Hogan. “The display that we are unveiling today will serve as a reminder that Maryland is proud to welcome our nation's most highly decorated military heroes to our great state, and that we are proud to honor their courage and their sacrifice.”

In December 2017, the Department of General Services (DGS) made an official request to the Marine Corps to obtain an official display version of the Medal of Honor, as it is illegal to manufacture or copy the official Medal of Honor. The Medal of Honor comes in three designs – Army, Air Force, and Navy/Marine Corps/Coast Guard. The Marine Corps responded to DGS and generously agreed to loan a Medal of Honor in their design to display in the State House.

“As the nation’s highest military award, our department is proud to have facilitated obtaining a Medal of Honor display for our state capital,” said DGS Secretary Ellington Churchill, Jr. “All Marylanders and visitors to the State House will have the opportunity to admire the rare medal and honor those who have served our country.”

Later this year, the Congressional Medal of Honor Society is holding its 2018 national convention in Annapolis from September 12 -16. During the time of the convention, the Medal of Honor will to be on display in front of the World War I memorial outside of the House of Delegates Chamber in the Maryland State House, after which, the Medal of Honor will be returned to the Marine Corps.

LSU Smacks Frat With 15-Year Ban

Louisiana State University smacked a fraternity with a 15-year ban from campus after its involvement in the death of a pledge, according to a Wednesday press release.

The university’s Associate Dean of Students Jonathan Sanders stipulated the restrictions of Phi Delta Theta’s ban in a March email to the LSU chapter, according to an LSU press release obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation.

“[The fraternity] violated … LSU’s Code of Student Conduct, specifically violations of the alcohol, hazing and endangerment policies,” Sanders told the organization. “The University rescinds the registration of Phi Delta Theta at LSU, effective immediately, and continuing through no earlier than December 31, 2032.”

How Trump Can Prompt Mueller to Resign

Mueller’s role in Uranium One cover-up undermines remaining credibility

WASHINGTON, D.C. –
If President Trump wants to get rid of Special Counselor Robert Mueller, there is a less politically costly solution than firing him.

Once a grand jury issues a subpoena to Mueller requiring him to produce all documents and to testify regarding his role in the Uranium One controversy, Mueller will have no choice but to resign his role as special counsel.

Mueller’s resignation, after becoming the target of a criminal investigation, would so seriously undermine the credibility of the special counsel that President Trump could disband the entire partisan operation with minimum risk of political consequences.

Mark Levin on 'Secret Empire' Mitch McConnell Allegations: 'Stunning,' 'Disgusting' -- 'Should Be Removed' from Office

Wednesday on his nationally syndicated radio show, conservative talker Mark Levin called on Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) to removed from his leadership post and investigated.

Levin said allegations revealed in a piece by The New York Post’s Larry Getlen that came from Breitbart editor-at-large Peter Schweizer’s book, “Secret Empires: How the American Political Class Hides Corruption and Enriches Family and Friends,” warranted an investigation.

Exclusive—Dave Brat: GOP ‘Buckled’ to Democrat Omnibus Demands; Trump Should ‘Veto’ Until We Get Border Wall Funding

“We buckled,” said Rep. Dave Brat (R-VA) of congressional Republicans’ negotiations on Capitol Hill regarding a $1.3 trillion omnibus appropriations bill scheduled for a vote on Wednesday night.

Congressman Brat joined SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Tonight for an interview with co-hosts Rebecca Mansour and Joel Pollak moments before entering the House to cast his vote.

Mansour asked if the Gateway Project — a massive tunnel, bridge, and infrastructure expansion and renovation project encompassing Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor passenger rail service linking Newark, NJ, and New York City, NY, which is estimated to cost approximately $30 billion by federal authorities — had been prioritized over a southern border wall. “Is it true that Chuck Schumer got his tunnel, but we got a pittance for the wall?”

Rand Paul: Mueller Probe Becoming 'Very Very Partisan,' 'Witch Hunt'

Wednesday on Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom,” Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) said special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe was turning into “this sort of witch hunt now that’s become very very partisan.”

Paul said, “I think special prosecutors have too much power and that we really shouldn’t have them. I would not have appointed Mueller.”

He continued, “There really is no reason why Mueller is investigating things other than Russian collusion. If there is no Russian collusion, he should wind up, close his investigation, let’s move on.”

He added, “I haven’t seen any evidence of that, and I don’t believe there was any evidence. Did Russians try to influence our election? In all likelihood yes. What should we do? We should start working together to try protect ourselves both cybersecurity and otherwise and our electoral process. Absolutely let’s do that. But instead, it’s this sort of witch hunt now that’s become very very partisan. And now we’re seeing all these people from the intelligence community Brennan, Clapper, all of them, piling on and exposing themselves to be left-wing Democrats who hate the president. So yes I think we have to be very careful how much power we give to those in the intelligence community.”

WALSH: The Left's Insane Hatred Of Mike Pence Is Nothing But Anti-Christian Bigotry

Alleged comedian John Oliver launched a delusional attack on Mike Pence's daughter's children's book this week. Something about the story of a bunny giving a tour of the White House incensed him so much that he felt the need to create his own book featuring a gay version of the bunny from Charlotte Pence's book. His fans then proceeded to spam her Amazon page with insults and negative reviews. Why? Well, I'm not sure they could even explain why. They are driven by a blind, irrational hatred of Mike Pence. A hatred somehow even more pronounced than their hatred of Donald Trump.

A few more examples:

-Joy Behar called Mike Pence "mentally ill" because he prays to Jesus.

-A gay figure skater spent the entire Olympics ranting about Pence, even though Pence never said or did anything to him.

-The actors in a Broadway play came out on stage after a performance and lectured Pence, who was simply sitting in the audience and had not been disruptive at all.

-Gay rights militants harassed Mike Pence while he attended a St. Patrick's Day parade in Georgia.

-Jimmy Kimmel bragged that Hollywood makes gay movies in order to "upset Mike Pence."

-Over 80,000 people have donated to Planned Parenthood in Pence's name.

WATCH: Hillary's Insulting Middle America Comments Already Turned Into Brutal Political Ad

Well, that was quick. Hillary Clinton's instantly infamous follow-up to the likewise infamous "basket of deplorables" comment has already been turned into a ready-made political ad against one of her fellow Democrats, who's recently been trying to distance herself from the increasingly toxic twice-failed presidential candidate.

A new ad run by the likely opponent of Democratic Senator Claire McCaskell, Missouri Attorney General Josh Hawley, uses Clinton's comments about "all that red in the middle where Trump won" she made at a conference in India last week to portray McCaskill as a Middle America-resenting elitist, like the woman she worked so hard to get elected president.

The ad opens with a teaser of Clinton's remarks in front of audience in Mumbai, India on March 10: "If you look at the map of the United States, there’s all that red in the middle where Trump won," says Clinton.

The screen then presents the statement used as the title shot: "In Claire McCaskill’s America…Hillary is the president."

The Nuclear Option: Limitless Investigation of Trump Was Always the Plan

So this is the new standard for electing a president here in America, the greatest living experiment in self-governance.

A man can run the gauntlet against more than 20 professional politicians and come out victorious.

He can win more than 40 Republican primary contests and beat every professional political campaigner out there, earning the votes of more than 14 million Republicans.

He can then turn his attention to beating the most powerful, entrenched political machine America has seen in nearly a half-century. (That corrupt machine had just pulled off its most devious and dishonest scam ever — rigging a presidential primary to snatch the party’s preferred Socialist candidate away from Democrat voters.)

In the end, President Trump won the presidency fair and square, earning the votes of more than 60 million Americans and — crucially — winning the 30 states he needed to take the White House.

Trump Predicts GOP Will Keep the House in Fight Against Out of Touch Dems, 'Low IQ' Maxine Waters

Tuesday at the National Republican Congressional Committee March Dinner, President Donald Trump said the Republicans will keep the majority in the House of Representatives because they are fighting against Democrats who have “lost touch with normal everyday working people,” like “low IQ” Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA).

Trump said, “Now they say the midterms, here comes the midterms. And as usual, they say 95 percent of the time it doesn’t happen. But nobody had ever had an economy like this, nobody has ever had a military that is getting so much stronger so fast, nobody has ever done what we have done.”

Planting the Seeds of a Food Forest in Philadelphia

With its myriad public gardens and 40,000-plus vacant lots, many of which have been transformed into community farms, Philadelphia is already a hub for community gardening. Philly also has a shortage of supermarkets in low income neighborhoods, which has made the city an incubator for novel ideas on getting healthy food into people’s hands, cheap or even free. Now, a group of Philadelphia agriculturists are proposing a new type of garden that could address the latter by taking advantage of the former: a food forest on public land, modeled after a similar project in Seattle.

A food forest is a permaculture, or self-sufficient, gardening technique that mimics a woodland ecosystem, and they’re popping up in cities all over the United States. Rather than neat rows of annual crops that need to be dug up and replanted each spring, a food forest has layers of mostly perennial edible and medicinal plants. There may be a canopy of fruit trees, below that shrubs like blueberries, then herbs like rosemary, ground-cover crops like clover, as well as vining plants and root vegetables like potatoes. They tend to promote native plants and provide education about sustainable agriculture, beneficial insects, and local foraging.

And unlike at many community gardens, a food forest has an open door policy. “Anyone can come at any time of day and take whatever they want,” says Michael Muehlbauer, the agricultural engineer and orchardist behind the Fair Amount Food Forest proposal. Whatever doesn’t get eaten by the community is harvested and donated.

Judge Nap on Push for Clinton Email Probe Records: 'The Excuse for Her Exoneration Is Not Credible'

Judge Andrew Napolitano said it's "very unusual" that the Justice Department has been slow to release documents related to how the FBI handled its investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email server.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) on Sunday said he is prepared to subpoena the DOJ to obtain more than one million missing documents related to the case.

"It's very unusual that a Republican Department of Justice is resisting the efforts of a Republican House of Representatives judiciary committee to find out what happened when the Democrats ran the Department of Justice," Napolitano said on "Fox & Friends First."

Democrat quits state Senate for new gov't job paying $100G more

A North Carolina Democrat resigned from the state Senate this week, on the same day she announced she was joining the state parole board -- at a pay raise of more than $100,000.

The state Senate received Sen. Angela Bryant’s resignation letter Monday, the same day Democratic Gov. Roy Cooper announced he was appointing Bryant to the state Post-Release Supervision & Parole Commission.

State law sets Bryant's board salary at $116,595 annually, about eight times more compared to her legislative salary at nearly $14,000, the Raleigh News & Observer reported.

25 Year Sentence for Driving Drunk Versus Probation for Prison Guard Who Raped Inmate

25 years without the possibility of parole.

What did this guy do? Rape? Murder? Armed Robbery? A botched terrorist attack?

Nope. He drove drunk.

Granted, he drove drunk a lot. Actually, this was his fourth driving while intoxicated conviction.

But driving is a bit of an overstatement… he was arrested in the parking lot after turning on his car and pressing the brakes.

The man said he was just sitting in his car waiting for a cab. That is probably a lie. This guy is clearly irresponsible. His blood alcohol content was .276 which would put most people down for the night with a bad headache the next day. It was completely reckless for him to attempt to operate a vehicle in such a condition.

But 25 years in prison? No one was actually hurt by his behavior. Yes, many people could have been hurt. He was putting other people at risk for his own selfish reasons. But that is still a pre-crime. What he did was a crime because of what that behavior could lead to, not because of actual harm done to any person.

Congress Releases the $1.3 Trillion, 2,232-Page Omnibus Spending Bill

Lawmakers released the $1.3 trillion, 2,232-page omnibus spending bill on Wednesday night, which Congress has to pass by midnight Friday to avert a government shutdown.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said on Wednesday night, “Every bill takes compromise, and there was plenty here, but at the end of the day we Democrats feel very good because so many of our priorities for the middle class were included.”

The budget shocked conservatives, including Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), as it flies past the spending limits set by the Budget Control Act of 2011.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) struck a deal in February to increase domestic and military spending by nearly $300 billion over the next two years. The bill includes an additional $90 billion in disaster aid for states and localities affected by last year’s hurricanes and $140 billion for emergency military funds.

Jason Pye, vice president of legislative affairs for FreedomWorks, said, “Republicans don’t know how to stop spending money.”

Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL), a member of the conservative House Freedom Caucus, told Breitbart News in an exclusive interview that our national debt has skyrocketed in recent years to untenable levels.

“This year, we’re looking at a deficit of $750 to $1 trillion. Next year, the estimate is $1 trillion or more. I have to wonder if there is any way that we can avoid a national insolvency or bankruptcy.”

Sen. Richard Durbin (D-IL) told Fox News “We got about 80% of what we were trying to get.."

Democrats Claiming Victory in 2018 Omnibus Fight

Democrats are trying to restrain their gloating over their many wins in the 2018 omnibus battle, including new language to limit border wall construction to just 33 extra miles.

“We’re feeling very good about this,” said the Democrats’ Senate leader, Sen. Chuck Schumer, who has stepped up his opposition to a border wall since President Donald Trump was elected in 2016. “We’ve accomplished many, many, many of our goals.”

Those gains include roughly half a billion dollars for the huge “Gateway” tunnel in Schumer’s New York — and language shrinking Trump’s wall construction on the border to just 33 miles of fences and riverside levees in 2018.

At that rate of construction, it will take 22 years to complete Trump’s border-wall plan.

Senate Democrats Prevent Stand-Alone Vote for Taylor Force Act

Act would cut off U.S. aid to Palestinian government

Senate leaders have added the Taylor Force Act to the omnibus spending bill after two Democratic senators blocked an effort to pass it as a stand-alone bill. The measure would cut off U.S. aid to the Palestinian Authority as punishment for its practice of paying salaries and benefits to terrorists and their families, including those who have murdered Americans.

The Taylor Force Act boasts strong bipartisan support, prompting Senate leadership a few weeks ago to hotline the bill, which would set it up to pass by unanimous consent, a parliamentary procedure that expedites passage of noncontroversial legislation. If no senator objects to the move, the measure is passed without the need for a floor vote.

But the Taylor Force Act was blocked after Democratic senators Patrick Leahy of Vermont and Dianne Feinstein of California rejected the hotline, killing the unanimous consent process and forcing the bill to undergo the Senate's lengthy cloture process, several sources told the Washington Free Beacon. Neither Leahy nor Feinstein have publicly opposed the bill.

The Taylor Force Act would halt American funding to the Palestinian Authority until it ends its "pay to slay" policy, which distributes $300 million to terrorists and their families annually.

KIDDE RECALLS DUAL SENSOR SMOKE ALARMS

The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office is sharing this information in an effort to provide the public with a concern about a recent recall of Kidde Dual Sensor Smoke Alarms - Models PI2010 (AC/hardwired - Date Code 9/10/2016-10/13/2017) and PI9010 (DC/battery powered - Date Code 9/10/2016 - 10/13/2017) manufactured by the Kidde Corporation. The smoke alarms listed in the recall are revealed in the link https://kidde-smoke-alarm-recallusen.expertinquiry.com/instructions .

Please take a moment to read the information on the link provided and check to see if your smoke alarm model numbers are a match to those on the recall.

On March 21, 2018, Kidde announced a recall of almost 500,000 smoke alarms in the United States. They may not work due to a yellow protective cap that may have been left on one of the two smoke sensors in affected products during the manufacturing process. This could compromise the smoke alarms' ability to detect smoke which poses a risk of consumers not being alerted to a fire in their home.

Kidde recommends owners immediately replace these smoke alarms.

Rules That Clear Up Spousal Benefits Confusion

Social Security spousal benefits are confusing, and among the most common thing readers ask about.

The most frequent cause for confusion comes from one small difference between benefits for a spouse versus an ex-spouse. Additional confusion comes from trying to decipher what happens with spousal benefits if you claim before versus after full retirement age (FRA).

Most of the time the confusion can be cleared up by understanding the following 3 rules that affect spousal benefits.

1. Spousal benefits for spouses verses ex-spouses
To be eligible for a spousal benefit, your spouse must have filed for their own benefits.
This rule that your spouse must have filed for benefits does NOT apply to ex-spouses.

This difference between spousal benefits for a current versus ex-spouse is often where the confusion comes in.

“Only eight people in Congress know what they’re doing, and traditionally, those eight people have been a rubber stamp to let the intelligence communities do whatever they want. There is no skeptic among the eight people that are supposedly overseeing the intelligence community.”

GOP Leaders Expand H-2B Visa-Worker Program

The GOP’s business-first leadership has expanded the H-2B visa-worker program, so reducing marketplace pressure on companies to offer higher wages to Americans just months before the November election.

The pre-election giveaway is buried on page 1760 of the 2232-page 2018 omnibus bill, where language allows the Department of Homeland Security to greatly expand the size of the H-2B visa-worker program up to roughly 100,000 imported workers:

SEC. 205. Notwithstanding the [66,000] numerical limitation set forth in section 214(g)(1)(B) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1184(g)(1)(B)), the Secretary of Homeland Security, after consultation with the Secretary of Labor, and upon the determination that the needs of American businesses cannot be satisfied in fiscal year 2018 with United States workers who are willing, qualified, and able to perform temporary nonagricultural labor, may increase the total number of aliens who may receive a visa under section 101(a)(15)(H)(ii)(b) of such Act (8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(15)(H)(ii)(b)) in such fiscal year above such limitation by not more than the highest number of H–2B nonimmigrants who participated in the H–2B returning worker program in any fiscal year in which returning workers were exempt from such numerical limitation.

The jargon gives the green light to Senators and Representatives to pressure DHS leaders to hand out more H-2B visas to the politicians’ local employers.

A Viewer Writes: Worwic Programs

Hey Joe,

Just found out that WorWic has decided to discontinue the Construction Technology / Computer-Aided Drafting program without telling any of the current program students. My son is 2 semesters into the program and found out by getting the fall class schedule and having no classes to take.

He was told that similar classes will be available under their continuing ed program, however they will not lead to a certificate, degree, or be able to transfer to other schools. Basically, we paid for classes toward a now defunct degree. A degree for which they gladly took our money (we paid full costs, no grant) without informing us of their intentions.

I don't know how many students are in the program, but I'm pretty sure none were told they were wasting their money.

House Intel Shuts Down Russia Probe

The House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence voted along party lines on Thursday to formally end the panel’s Russia investigation and to release a report about the probe to the rest of Congress.

The 150-page report will now undergo a classification review by the intelligence community to determine what information must be redacted in the document. After it goes to Congress, the report will be made public. That is expected to happen within the next several weeks.

Committee Republicans announced last week that they had drafted the report and were planning on shutting down the Russia investigation.

After 73 witness interviews and a review of more than 300,000 documents, Republicans found no evidence that President Donald Trump’s campaign colluded with the Russian government during the 2016 presidential campaign.

Indiana students stage walkout, prayer circle

Exactly one month after the tragic school shooting in Parkland, Fla., students across the nation walked out of their classrooms at 10 a.m. on March 14 and stayed out for at least 17 minutes—one minute for every victim. Some students walked out to raise their voices for greater gun regulation and increasing campus safety, while others simply wanted to honor the memories of their fallen peers.

The 20 Union County High School students who participated were a part of the latter group, collaborating with school administrators to conduct the walkout as safely as possible. The students convened in the gymnasium at the school and interlocked arms for 17 minutes of silence. They stood still, silent and solemn for the entire time, with no phones or distractions. Officers from the Union County Sheriff's Office stood by to make sure no one misused the time or caused any issues.

Since the Parkland shooting and the copycat threats that rippled from it in the following weeks, police and sheriff presence has increased at Union County schools. The school board is looking into hiring a part-time resource officer to ensure student safety in all schools in the district.

The UCHS students were vehement that for them, the walkout was not political, even if the national movement is.

“The point of this for us wasn't to make a political statement or take a side on an issue,” said sophomore class president Carson Eversole. “This was to show our support and give our condolences to the families of those who were lost.”

Rep. Harris Votes Against Fiscally Irresponsible Spending Bill

WASHINGTON, DC: On March 22, the House of Representatives passed H.R. 1625, the Consolidated Appropriations Act. Congressman Andy Harris, M.D. (MD-01) issued the following statement after voting against this legislation:

“The Omnibus bill was 2,232 pages long, and we had fewer than 14 hours to read it before voting on it. This $1.3 trillion spending bill will balloon our deficit and will continue to fund unlawful sanctuary cities. This bill also fails to provide adequate funding for border security and fails to address the need for temporary workers in industries critical to the economy of Maryland’s First District, so I voted against this bill.”

Free Tree Seedlings Available for Lower Eastern Shore Landowners

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources is offering free trees to help improve water quality in targeted Lower Eastern Shore communities.

Dorchester and Wicomico County landowners who have a creek, drainage ditch, stream or other waterway on or near their property are eligible for free tree seedlings through the department’s Backyard Buffers program.

Trees planted along waterways help enhance and improve water quality by absorbing excess nutrients, reducing sediment, stabilizing stream banks and lowering water temperatures.

Each “buffer in a bag” contains 25 native, bare-root tree seedlings suited for planting in wet soil conditions. The bundle will include five of each species: buttonbush, hazel alder, red osier dogwood, willow oak and white oak. All seedlings are 1-year-old and approximately 8 to 10 inches tall.

Maryland Forest Service staff will provide information on tree maintenance and planting techniques, in addition to suggestions on other good native species, at pick up which will take place April 21 for both counties. The Dorchester pick up location is the Spocott Windmill on Route 343 near Cambridge from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Wicomico pick up location is the University of Maryland Extension Office at 28674 Old Quantico Road in Salisbury from 10 a.m. to noon.

The deadline for placing orders is April 20. Dorchester residents should contact Scott Daniels at 410-228-1861, and Wicomico residents should contact Matthew Hurd at 410-543-1950. Quantities are limited so reservations will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Citigroup Enforces Gun Control Restrictions On Customers

Citigroup is setting restrictions on the sale of firearms by its business customers.

As a reminder, Andrew Ross Sorkin wrote in the NY Times that banks could control guns, if Washington won't.

Liberty Blitzkrieg's Mike Krieger exclaimed that even in today’s world replete with plutocrat public relations masquerading as journalism,it’s rare to encounter an article simultaneously pandering, authoritarian, childish and dumb. Nevertheless, I found one, and it was unsurprisingly published in The New York Times.

The title of the piece more or less says it all, How Banks Could Control Gun Sales if Washington Won’t, but let’s go ahead and examine some of the author’s suggestions in greater detail. For instance:

Here’s an idea.

What if the finance industry — credit card companies like Visa, Mastercard and American Express; credit card processors like First Data; and banks like JPMorgan Chase and Wells Fargo — were to effectively set new rules for the sales of guns in America?

Collectively, they have more leverage over the gun industry than any lawmaker. And it wouldn’t be hard for them to take a stand.

PayPal, Square, Stripe and Apple Pay announced years ago that they would not allow their services to be used for the sale of firearms.

If Visa and Mastercard are unwilling to act on this issue, the credit card processors and banks that issue credit cards could try. Jamie Dimon, chief executive of JPMorgan Chase, which issues credit cards and owns a payment processor, has talked about how he and his bank have “a moral obligation but also a deeply vested interest” in helping “solve pressing societal challenges.” This is your chance, Mr. Dimon.

That was followed by Dick's Sporting Goods, who said they would no longer sell high-capacity magazines and that they would not sell any gun to anyone under 21 years of age, regardless of local laws.

Be Very Careful Of Local News Channels Promoting BS Car Maintenance Policies

Your local news channels are promoting, (selling) commercials that seem to be bogus. The above image is from one of these commercials in which I contacted local mechanics and even car dealerships in which this program suggests will participate with this policy, they do not.

I strongly suggest before you ever consider sending any kind of payment to these bogus companies you contact your dealer or mechanic and ask if they do in fact accept these policies.

Shame on these news stations for allowing such crap to be published as they are desperate for any kind of possible income.

Hillary Clinton: Trump 'Undermined' Presidency to Enrich Family, His 'Erratic' Behavior Undermining Global Order

Last week on Dutch public broadcasting’s KRO-NCRV, Hillary Clinton accused President Donald Trump of undermining the office of the presidency to “enrich himself and his family.”

Clinton said, “He has undermined the office and used it to enrich himself and his family. Disregarded laws, ethical standards, has been undermining the institutions from the free press to the judiciary.”

What Liberal Bias? ESPN Plans Brand New Social Justice Morning Show

Despite claiming that it isn’t a “political” sports network, ESPN has announced that it plans to launch a brand new morning show geared to push a far left, social justice agenda.

The new show, to be called Get Up!, will air from 7 to 10 AM and will feature hosts Mike Greenberg, Michelle Beadle, and Jalen Rose, The Hollywood Reporter reported.

Apparently, ESPN is sinking big cash into this new “woke” morning show, too.

THR notes: “It’s a big, costly swing for the network, including leasing a 21,000-square-foot studio and office complex in Manhattan’s South Street Seaport and nearly $15 million in talent salaries ($6.5 million for Greenberg, 50; $5 million for Beadle, 42; and $3 million for Rose, 45, sources say).”

Trump: "Crazy Joe Biden" Would "Go Down Fast" In A Fight

As former Vice President Joe Biden struggles to stay relevant as he quietly pursues the 2020 Democratic nomination, he told a crowd of people at an anti-sexual assault rally in Florida that "if I were in high school, I'd take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him," adding that he's "a pretty damn good athlete."

In an early morning tweet on Thursday, the president slammed the former VP for "trying to act like a tough guy", saying "actually, he is weak, both mentally and physical, and yet he threatens me, for the second time, with physical assault. He doesn't know me, but he would go down fast and hard."

Crazy Joe Biden is trying to act like a tough guy. Actually, he is weak, both mentally and physically, and yet he threatens me, for the second time, with physical assault. He doesn’t know me, but he would go down fast and hard, crying all the way. Don’t threaten people Joe!

Biden and Trump were involved in an almost identical spat back in October 2016, when Biden, using similar language, first said he would rather "take him behind the gym" than debate the president.

Army Major: "Unmitigated Failure" - Operation Iraqi Freedom, 15 Years Later

After waging an ill-advised war of choice in Iraq, the U.S. military remains ensnared in Greater Mesopotamia...

We were always caught in the middle. We still are.

As a young man, a new lieutenant, and a true believer, I once led a US Army scout platoon just south of Baghdad. It was autumn 2006, and my platoon patrolled – mainly aimlessly – through the streets and surrounding fields of Salman Pak. To our north lay the vast Shia heartland of East Baghdad, to our south and east, the disgruntled and recently disempowered Sunnis of the rural hinterlands. Both sides executed teenagers caught on the wrong side of town, leaving the bodies for us to find. Each side sought to win American favor; both tried to kill us.

It was a battle of attrition; a war for land, yes, but more importantly a war for the mind. Each day, the platoon had the distinct honor to drive our HMMWVs past the impressive ruins of an ancient Persian (Iranian) empire – the Sassanid. Some 1500 years earlier, Salman Pak was known as Ctesiphon and was the populous capital of a powerful civilization. The Iraqi Shia were proud of this past; the local Sunnis were not. Sunni insurgents still called the Shia "Sassanids," or "Persians," and they meant it as a pejorative. History was present and alive in Iraq. Still, few of my young soldiers knew – or cared – about any of this. They merely sought survival.

The Sunni fighters, once ascendant under Saddam Hussein’s regime, were backed by Saudi Arabia and other sympathetic Gulf states.

In nighttime raids and daytime searches, we found Saudi "Wahhabi" Islamist propaganda on the floor of car bomb factories.Back then, the local Sunni insurgents called themselves TWJ (Tawhid al Jihad – Monotheism and Holy War). This group, a nonfactor at the time of the 9/11 attacks, would rebrand several times in the ensuing years: Al Qaeda in Iraq (AQI), the Islamic State of Iraq (ISI), and, finally, the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

16-year-old girl shot at Md. high school taken off life support, family says

WASHINGTON — A 16-year-old girl has been in critical condition after she was shot in the head Tuesday at a high school in St. Mary’s County, Maryland. Now, Jaelynn Willey’s family is taking her off life support Thursday night.

“She will not make it,” Jaelynn’s mother, Melissa Willey, said Thursday, her voice shaking. “We will be taking her off life support this evening. She is brain dead and has nothing — no life left in her.”

Jaelynn was shot Tuesday morning at Great Mills High School; another student, 17-year-old Austin Rollins, entered the school with a semi-automatic handgun and fired at her in the school hallway. Rollins also shot a 14-year-old boy, but that student was discharged from the hospital Wednesday.

DNC Takes Out $2 Million Loan

Nine months before critical midterms where Democrats are defending a record number of Senate seats, the national party is falling deeper into debt.

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) took out a $1.7 million loan in February, pushing their total debt to more than $6 million, according to recent Federal Election Commission filings.

Meanwhile, the party’s fundraising efforts yielded around half the total amount as the Republican National Committee (RNC). The DNC brought in $6.9 million in February, while the RNC raised $12.8 million.

The national Democratic arm has just over $10 million cash on hand, The Republican’s will likely need the vast amounts of cash heading into the midterms, which are historically unfavorable to a new president’s party.
