Two men tell Senate that they, not Kavanaugh, assaulted Ford
Two men have come forward to members of the Senate Judiciary Committee to claim that they are the ones who actually assaulted Christine Blasey Ford during a house party in 1982 — and not Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
Republicans on the committee released a timeline of events late Wednesday, which included details about their interactions with the two men who admitted to the attacks.
On Monday, the timeline recounts GOP staff members interviewing “a man who believes he, not Judge Kavanaugh, had the encounter with Dr. Ford in 1982.”
The “encounter” refers to an episode in which Ford claims that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her in a bedroom at a Maryland house party.

Gillibrand: Whatever Kavanaugh Says at Hearing, ‘It Will Not Change My View’
On Wednesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Cuomo Primetime,” Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) stated that she’s not open to changing her mind on Judge Brett Kavanaugh, she thought Kavanaugh’s record was disqualifying before the allegations against Kavanaugh came to light, and “whatever he says tomorrow, it will not change my view. And I’ve already read Dr. Blasey Ford’s testimony and I believe her.”
After Gillibrand stated the FBI should do a complete background check on Kavanaugh in light of the accusations against him, anchor Chris Cuomo asked, “[A]re you open to changing your mind?”
Gillibrand answered, “Based on everything I have heard to date, no. And before these allegations came to light, I thought Judge Kavanaugh’s record was disqualifying."

Kavanaugh comes out swinging: Charges against me a 'national disgrace'
Brett Kavanaugh on Thursday vigorously denied allegations from Christine Blasey Fordthat he sexually attacked her when they were both in high school — calling the charge “a national disgrace.”
“Less than two weeks ago, Dr. Ford publicly accused me of committing wrongdoing at an event more than 36 years ago, when we were both in high school,” Kavanaugh angrily told the Senate Judiciary Committee.
“I denied the allegation immediately, categorically and unequivocally.”
President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee noted that others who were supposedly at the party have either denied it or said they don’t recall the gathering.
“The day after the allegation appeared, I told this committee that I wanted a hearing as soon as possible to clear my name,” he said, charging that the allegation was politically motivated and an attempt to torpedo his nomination.

Surviving Our 'Survivors'
According to the feminist mantra, a veritable epidemic of male violence against women is sweeping the country. Women in every walk of life are apparently prey to a wave of male sexual harassment, assault, and rape; they are victims of a nefarious consortium called "the patriarchy," which has been oppressing women in the home, the workplace, and the professions from time immemorial. Women who bring forth allegations of male sexual misconduct, whether proven or not and no matter how frivolous or innocuous, are now classified as "survivors" who must be believed and afforded remedial counseling and legal recourse. Accused men are regarded as bearers of a pathology known as "toxic masculinity" and must be prosecuted as undoubted perpetrators.
I have observed and recorded innumerable examples of the phenomenon. The litany of dodgy #MeToo grievances is common knowledge – the preposterous allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh is only the most currently prominent such episode – and even women who have not entered the hashtag world are primed and provoked to join the vendetta. Four more such instances have just now come to my attention, a grouping that, in effect, constitutes a full data set.
Marcus Knight, a student at Saddleback College in the California Community College system, who suffers from dysphasia, autism, and cerebral palsy and is fitted with a drainage shunt to relieve pressure on the brain, has been the target of two Title IX complaints. His transgression? Asking for a fist bump and a selfie with a presumably friendly co-ed. Knight was not allowed to defend himself against the allegations. The "survivor" of a fist bump and a selfie must be protected at all costs.

Bombshell WSJ Story Confirms "Systematic And Methodical" Chinese Theft Of US Trade Secrets
A deep dive into how China "systematically pries technology from U.S. Companies" by the Wall Street Journal gives essential context to President Trump's rising trade war with Beijing at a moment that both Chinese and American mainstream media relentlessly bash the president for his unprecedentedly tough stance on China.
And yet such a bombshell story exhaustively documenting multiple major instances of China caught in brazen acts of theft of American technology and trade secrets has barely made a splash in the rest of major media, and likely won't hit the network news shows with so much as a whimper: after all it may confirm that Trump is right, and admitting this will certainly not gain ratings.
Foremost among Trump's demands after he announced tariffs on about half of all US imports from China while threatening to impose tariffs on the second half, is that China cease requiring American companies turn over trade secrets in order to do business there. Trump has consistently blasted China's "unfair trade practices" which includes stealing US intellectual property.

Kavanaugh Girlfriend Denies 1998 Assault Described In Anonymous Letter, NBC Report
A federal judge who says she may be the woman described in a cryptic, anonymous letter accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of assault in 1998 told the Senate Judiciary Committee that Kavanaugh never attacked her, The Daily Caller News Foundation has learned.
TheDCNF obtained email traffic between Republican committee staffers and Judge Dabney Friedrich who says she dated Kavanaugh in 1998, the approximate timeframe during which an unnamed person told senators that Kavanaugh “sexually and aggressively” pushed a woman he was dating up against the wall.
“To the extent the attached letter is referring to me as the ‘friend who was dating him,’ the allegations it makes are both offensive and absurd,” Friedrich wrote in a letter to the committee. “At no time did Brett ever shove me against a wall, including in an ‘aggressive and sexual’ manner. When we dated, Brett always treated me with the utmost respect and we remain friends to this day. I have never observed (nor am I aware of) Brett acting in a physically inappropriate or aggressive manner toward anyone.”
Like Kavanaugh, Friedrich is also a federal judge. President Donald Trump appointed her to the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia in 2017.

Hirono Sends Fundraising Email During Opening Remarks of Kavanaugh Hearing
Sen. Mazie Hirono (D., Hawaii) sent a fundraising email on Thursday less than 30 minutes into the opening remarks of the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing about how she has been "fighting the Republicans who are desperate to rush Brett Kavanaugh's nomination and deny a fair investigation into credible sexual misconduct allegations against him."
Hirono serves on the Senate Judiciary Committee overseeing Thursday's hearing to address sexual assault allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. She has been an outspoken critic of Kavanaugh's "ideological agenda" and called for President Donald Trump to withdraw his Supreme Court nomination on Wednesday.
Christine Blasey Ford, a professor of psychology at Palo Alto University in California, accused Kavanaugh of drunkenly pinning her to a bed, groping her, and trying to stifle her screams at a high school party in the early 1980s. Kavanaugh has denied the allegations, as has his former classmate Mark Judge, who Ford claims was also in the room at the time of the alleged incident. Two other people who Ford alleges were at the party in question have also denied any knowledge of the party or sexual assault.
"Here come the fundraising-off-Kavanaugh-hearing emails — less than 30 minutes into opening remarks, this one from @maziehirono," CNN reporter Kate Bennett tweeted.

Judiciary Committee Asks for Audio-Video of Christine Ford’s Polygraph – Her Atty’s Refuse, Saying “It’s Not Important”
Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s attorney Beth Wilkinson went on CBS News on Wednesday morning.
Wilkinson told CBS the lawyers for Dr. Ford have not turned over the results of her lie detector test or her therapist’s notes to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Christine Ford is scheduled to testify under oath before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday morning.
Note the first question by liberal reporter Nora O’Donnell:
Nora O’Donnell: Is the evidence mounting against your client?
Beth Wilkinson: No, I wouldn’t say that, Nora. As you know those are statements that were made relatively recently and sadly this is an allegation from almost 36 years ago. And there was at the time no report which is understandable. But the first time these allegations came to light as far as we know from reading the reports in the media, Dr. Ford told her therapist and told her husband. They announced that there were notes and there was a lie detector test but as I understand it they did not turn any of those over to the senate committee even though they were requested. So, the information that would have shown what she said at the very first time when she revealed these allegations have not been turned over to the senate.

Massachusetts Rolls Back Solar Subsidies, Could Save Ratepayers Billions
Massachusetts is reforming the way it credits owners of solar panel installations, adopting a system that is expected to save people billions on their electricity bills.
The Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities issued an order Wednesday that officially green-lights a new form of solar panel compensation. The system, known as the Solar Massachusetts Renewable Target (SMART) program, will incentivize solar development by allowing utility companies to directly compensate the panel owner.
State officials believe the new program will save residents $4.7 billion on their electricity bills.
“[T]he SMART program will allow Massachusetts to expand its leadership by significantly increasing solar capacity while lowering costs for ratepayers,” Massachusetts Republican Gov. Charlie Baker said in a statement. “In addition to the benefits to ratepayers and the commonwealth’s energy portfolio, the SMART program will be the first in the nation to offer incentives to solar projects that are paired with storage to capture the benefits of solar regardless of time of day or weather conditions.”

Game Changing Kavanaugh Bomb Drops
Two men have stepped forward and have told the Senate Judiciary Committee that they were actually the ones who assaulted Christine Blasey Ford.
According to the New York Post:
The committee has spoken to both of the men to get more information. The first man reportedly provided more detail during his second interview.

Hannity: Dems Want 'Victory at All Costs'
Democrats don’t care what they have to do to derail Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, Sean Hannity said on his Fox News television program Tuesday:
“Due process, the presumption of innocence, literally mean nothing to them – especially, (Democrat) Delaware Senator Chris Coons. He actually thinks that Judge Kavanaugh has to prove his innocence; I’m not making this up.”
Hannity then played a video of Sen. Coons making the claim:
“It is Judge Kavanaugh who is seeking a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court and who, I now, think bears the burden of disproving these allegations, rather than Dr. Ford and Miss Ramirez.”
“That’s sad, really,” Hannity commented, before reminding Democrats of the assault accusations made by a woman against Keith Ellison:

House admonishes communities that allow non-citizens to vote in local elections
The House voted Wednesday to go on record admonishing communities, such as San Francisco, that now allow immigrants who live in the U.S. illegally to cast ballots in local elections, calling it another way some localities are undermining federal immigration policies.
The 279-72 vote saw 49 Democrats join with nearly every Republican to protest the growing movement to expand the vote. Sixty-nine Democrats declined to take a stand, voting “present.”
The non-binding resolution does not force any changes, but did put lawmakers on record.
“If we start granting others the sacred right reserved for U.S. citizens it puts the whole democratic process at risk,” said Rep. Jeff Duncan, a South Carolina Republican who has pushed for a tougher line against localities that include immigrants who entered the U.S. illegally in their voting population.

The Truths Behind Our Current Political Turmoil
Are there any guiding principles that can make sense of the sensational news that now overwhelms the senses seemingly every hour?
What is common to blaring headlines about the Brett Kavanaugh Supreme Court nomination hearings, an anti-Trump “resistance” buried deep in the permanent bureaucracy and the improper behavior by top officials of the Obama administration, FBI and Department of Justice?
There are a few subtexts to all these spectacles, scandals and melodramas.
First, those in power had never imagined that Donald Trump either could or should win the 2016 election.
That reality emboldened federal employees to take risks and step over the line in efforts to ensure that Trump would be humiliated at the polls. Officials assumed that incoming President Hillary Clinton would either overlook or reward their zealotry.
FBI kingpins such as James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Lisa Page and Peter Strzok either broke the law or made a mockery of the FBI’s ethical guidelines. They acted as if Clinton would win, or should have won, the election.
Had Clinton won the presidency, we would have absolutely no knowledge of any prior misconduct at the FBI, the Department of Justice, the National Security Agency or the CIA under the Obama administration. Trump prompted all that hysteria by winning.

More to Be Done to Eliminate Election Fraud
“Nobody has found any widespread instances of voter fraud.”
That’s MSNBC host Katy Tur, expressing what passes for conventional wisdom on the left. They constantly tell us that efforts to pursue voter ID and similar measures are aimed not at election security, but at suppressing the vote.
But those who peddle such a view probably haven’t heard of Lizaida Camis, who was recently charged by federal officials with “promoting a voter bribery scheme.”
Her case took place in New Jersey, which allows mail-in voting. Voters simply have to complete an application and submit it to county officials.
That’s where Camis came in. She’s charged with approaching at least three voters with an offer of money for votes. According to voter-fraud expert Jason Snead:
“Camis went to the voters’ homes after they received their mail-in ballots, in some cases explicitly instructed them to vote for specific candidates, and then collected the ballots. Camis then told the voters they could pick up a $50 check from the Hoboken office of a company that, per the complaint, ‘purportedly provided payroll services’ to local campaigns.”

Brett Kavanaugh nomination sent to full Senate for a vote
The Senate Judiciary Committee on Friday voted to move the vote on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh to the Senate — but left open the possibility that a full Senate vote could be delayed by opening an FBI probe into the nominee.
The 11-10 vote came after last-minute discussions of conducting an FBI investigation for up to a week to scrutinize the sexual assault charges against Kavanaugh by Dr. Christine Blasey Ford.
Arizona GOP Sen. Jeff Flake had an apparent change of heart just hours after announcing that he would vote to confirm Kavanaugh and said he would support a delay of up to one week.
But it would be up to President Trump to decide whether to reopen the FBI’s investigation — and the president said moments later that he would leave the matter up to the Senate.
The president praised Ford as “a very credible witness, very good in many respects.”
He also praised Kavanaugh, but stopped short of a full-throated endorsement.

Chris Coons Near Tears Over Flake’s Support for Kavanaugh: ‘Oh F*ck’
Sen. Christopher Coons (D-CT) on Friday morning choked up on learning Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ), a key Republican swing vote, announced he will vote to confirm Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, according to reporters on Capitol Hill.
CNN reporter Elizabeth Landers says Coons became visibly emotional when her colleague Sunlen Serfaty revealed Flake’s decision, prompting the Democrat lawmaker to respond: “Oh f*ck. We each make choices for our own reason. I’m struggling, sorry.”
Coons, described as a close friend of Flake, wrote in a 2017 October New York Times opinion-editorial that Flake’s departure from the Senate should “scare Democrats,” describing him as one of the few Republicans “willingness to speak out against his party’s current standard-bearer.”

The company discovered the breach earlier this week, finding that attackers had exploited a feature in Facebook’s code that allowed them to take over user accounts. Facebook fixed the vulnerability and notified law enforcement officials.
More than 90 million of Facebook’s users were forced to log out of their accounts Friday morning, a common safety measure for compromised accounts.

Rachel Mitchell Demolishes Christine Blasey Ford's Claim She Fears Flying
Investigative counsel Rachel Mitchell, cross-examining Christine Blasey Ford at the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday, demolished her claim that she could not testify on Monday because she was afraid of flying.
Ford and her attorneys refused a Monday hearing, arguing that she was afraid to fly. One of her friends even claimed that her fear of flying was a result of the alleged assault by Judge Brett Kavanaugh over 35 years ago.

Debt-Laden College Students Spend More Time Working Than In Class
The skyrocketing cost of tuition has not only resulted in a student debt bubble that is approaching $1.5 trillion, but it is also causing American college students to spend more time working paid jobs then they do studying, in class, or at the library. A new HSBC survey revealed that 85% of current college students work paid jobs while they are enrolled. The survey found that they spend an average of 4.2 hours per day working paid jobs: 2 hours more than they spend in class per day, 1.4 hours more than they spend studying at home, and more than double the amount of time they spend in the library.
John Hupalo, an education financial planner told Bloomberg: “The economics of the debt crisis have become a major distraction to students’ education. Students’ first priority should be to get value out of their education, not squeezing out hours at a job in order to make money to sustain that education.”
The survey used data from 1,507 students that were aged 18 to 34 and were currently enrolled in both undergraduate and post-graduate programs. The survey also used data from 10,478 parents who had at least one child that was 23 years old or younger currently enrolled at a University. It was conducted by market research company Ipsos MORI.
The cost per college student in the United States, according to a September report from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, is more than just about every other country in the world. Tuition costs are also at an all-time high, helping usher in the highest rate of student loan debt in history. Student loans are not only now the second largest type of debt for US households, but they have also cumulatively accrued to about $1.5 trillion. Debt loads are often more burdensome for the youngest Americans who are working jobs with minimum wage or entry-level wages. 40% of all millennial debt is student loans.

What Was In The Envelope That Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee Slipped To Kavanaugh Accuser's Lawyer?
A curious thing happened on Christine Blasey Ford's way out of Congressional testimony today - when Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) handed Ford's lawyer, Michael Bromwich, a thick envelope after shaking hands.
Watch:
Ford's attorneys told the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday that they are representing her on a pro bono basis.
During questions from staff lawyer Rachel Mitchell as to who was paying her legal bills, Bromwich interjected "Both her counsel are doing this pro bono." Furthermore, Ford was unable to explain who paid for - or will pay for - her polygraph.
Update: According to Lee's office, "Simply, what was passed were unopened stationery notes to counsel for Dr. Ford from women who wanted to enter the hearing room but were not allowed to enter the hearing room."

How Trump can silence the Dems’ preexisting conditions lie
Across the country, Democratic ads are telling voters a big lie. Dems claim they’re protecting people with preexisting medical conditions but Republicans would take that protection away. The idea is that ObamaCare is the only way to safeguard people with preexisting conditions. That’s false, and the outcome of the midterm elections could turn on this falsehood.
A super PAC allied with Sen. Chuck Schumer is behind many of these ads, including one targeting Republican Josh Hawley, who’s in a tight race with Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill. If he’s elected, the ad claims, millions of Missourians could lose their protections. In another ad, McCaskill tells the camera “Two years ago, I beat breast cancer,” then says her opponent would do away with protections for preexisting conditions like cancer.
These ads blatantly mislead voters. Hawley’s on the record insisting that health-reform legislation must include these protections.
So is Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, who has called on his state lawmakers to enact protections. But never mind the truth. The Democratic Governors Association is funding an ad with a breast-cancer patient saying she won’t be able to afford lifesaving treatments if Walker is reelected.
A whopping 81 percent of voters, including 80 percent of Republicans, support these protections, polls show. That’s why the GOP’s ObamaCare-repeal bill safeguarded these people by providing funding for each state to cover insurance for their sickest patients. But Republican pols failed miserably last year to explain that, opening the door for Democrats to vilify them as enemies of people with health problems.
President Trump could stop these shenanigans and also calm Americans’ anxieties with a new, free-standing reform. What’s needed is a federal fallback-insurance plan, aggressively promoted by the president, that will cover anyone turned down by an insurer. Period.

Holes in Christine Blasey Ford's testimony cast doubt that Brett Kavanaugh was her assailant
There are holes in Christine Blasey Ford’s testimony.
This doesn’t mean she is lying. It doesn’t mean she did not suffer sexual assault of some kind, and it doesn't mean she doesn't suffer from PTSD or isn't terrified to testify. The holes in Ford’s testimony demonstrate there is very little proof that corroborates it was Brett Kavanaugh who assaulted Ford some decades ago.
In a relatively short period, Ford gave an initial brief testimony detailing the events surrounding the event where she says Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her. Throughout the entire testimony and subsequent questions, there has been no corroborating evidence brought forth of any kind. This means there has been no other person, event, detail, or evidence that shows anything outside of her testimony, aligning with her testimony.
Still, Ford’s testimony itself seems to have a few holes:
Ford's account of who attended the party has changed several times. According to the Washington Post report, Ford's therapist's "notes say four boys were involved, a discrepancy Ford says was an error on the therapist’s part. Ford said there were four boys at the party but only two in the room." Ford's polygraph contradicts this statement. In her polygraph she said there were “4 boys and a couple of girls at the party.” During her testimony on Thursday, Ford revised her WhatsApp conversation with the Washington Post reporter "to clarify that more than four people may have been present at the party in question and that an individual named 'PJ' was not a 'bystander' to her alleged attack and that she does not allege that he knew about it."

"I Don't Give A Shit If It's A Crime": Fourth Veritas Video Reveals IRS Still Targeting Conservatives
James O'Keefe just dropped the fourth installment in his series exposing the corruption and bias in the 'deep state'. This reportfeatures two Internal Revenue Service (IRS) officials who candidly discuss the IRS’s unfair treatment of conservative non-profit groups.
The two officials in the report are Thomas Sheehy, an IRS tax examiner and member of the Austin Democratic Socialists of America in Texas, and Jerry Semasek, an IRS attorney in Washington, DC.
Via ProjectVeritas.com,
Flagrantly Targeting Conservative Groups
Sheehy boasts about and appears to justify former disgraced IRS Commissioner John Koskinen, who was mired in scandal for losing tens of thousands of emails regarding the Lois Lerner controversy. The Lois Lerner controversy occurred in 2013 and involved revelations showing that the IRS unfairly scrutinized conservative groups.
SHEEHY: “John Koskinen. He got a lot of flak for giving increased scrutiny to these Tea Party groups.Conservatives got really mad at him, he was so cool though because he deleted all the emails, so they could not hold any evidence against him.”
Sheehy continues:
SHEEHY: “Yeah, I don’t give a s**t if that is a crime for doing that because… you should give increased scrutiny to those groups because a lot of them are just f***ing fronts for the Koch brothers or whatever.”
Mistakes Were Made
In a separate meeting, attorney Semasek discloses to Project Veritas multiple times that “mistakes were made,” during the 2013 scandal when conservative non-profits were targeted when applying for tax-exempt status.
SEMASEK: “… you know what, for what it’s worth, on the record, I know people in Tax Exempt Government Entities. All that stuff we saw in the news, yeah mistakes were made”
Attorney Semasek, who worked for the IRS during the 2013 scandal, continued:

Up in Smoke: How Marijuana Will Change Our Economy
It was the summer of 1965, and I was recuperating from a broken arm in the home where I grew up in West Virginia. I couldn’t swim or play baseball with my friends since I had a cast on my arm, and I was bored silly. Looking for something to read, I leafed through an old medical textbook that my father, a physician, owned. It had been published around 1915.
To my amazement, the textbook contained an entire chapter on cannabis, the scientific name for the plant also known as marijuana. It detailed all sorts of emulsions and concentrates that could be used to treat various maladies. But those treatments had long been criminalized, thanks to the Marijuana Tax Act and subsequent legislation.
A decade later, I was asleep in my dorm room at college when I heard my roommate, who I’ll call Jim, throwing up after drinking too much the night before. After a few minutes, his vomiting progressed to dry heaves, an attempt to vomit without actually doing so.
The noise (and the smell) woke me up, and I got Jim a glass of water to settle his stomach. But he vomited the water back up immediately.
Our friend Dale walked into our room. He lit up a hand-rolled cigarette that had the unmistakable odor of cannabis. “Smoke this,” he told Jim.

Cornell Orientation Packet Tells Students If They Are 'Privileged' Or 'Oppressed'
A Cornell University student says student ambassadors were given an "orientation packet" that told them if they were "privileged" or "oppressed."
The packet categorized groups of people based on age, race, gender, gender identity, religion, and education level, to name a few.

A Cornell spokesman told Campus Reform that the university "will not be participating" in offering a comment on the issue.
Student ambassadors at Cornell University were given an “orientation packet” ahead of welcoming the incoming freshman class. The packet contains a sheet of categories labeling certain groups as having “privilege” or being “oppressed.”
Campus Reform obtained a copy of the document from a concerned student who felt the content was inappropriate. The sheet outlines social issues and designates certain demographics as privileged or oppressed in a “U.S. Context.” The 15 categories range from gender identity to martial/parental status, education level, and “use of English.”
If you speak “accented English” you are marginalized or oppressed compared to “‘proper’ English” speakers who are privileged. -Campus Reform
Over the course of three weeks, Campus Reform gave Cornell University multiple opportunities to confirm or deny the packet was distributed. University spokesman John Carberry eventually responded to Campus Reform on Wednesday but did not deny the student's account, saying that Cornell “will not be participating” or commenting on the issue.
According to the document, if you speak “accented English” you are marginalized or oppressed compared to “‘proper’ English” speakers who are privileged. If your parents are married or “in a heterosexual relationship” you are privileged while “divorced; LGBTQ parent; domestic partnership” and “single parent” individuals are oppressed.

Breaking News: Tensions over Brett Kavanaugh continued: A senator was confronted on camera by sexual assault survivors and Democrats walked out of a hearing.
Just after Senator Jeff Flake said he would vote to confirm Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, he was confronted at a Senate elevator by two crying women who said they had been sexually assaulted.
“Look at me when I’m talking to you,” one woman said. “You are telling me that my assault doesn’t matter, that what happened to me doesn’t, and that you’re going to let people who do these things into power.”
Mr. Flake stood largely mute, his gaze mainly to the ground, as the women held open the elevator and made their case to no avail.

Former Gillum Chief of Staff Campaigns for Mayor Against Old Boss' Record -- 'Tallahassee Had the Highest Number of Murders in History Last Year'
Although Florida Democratic gubernatorial nominee Andrew Gillum’s track record as mayor has seemingly been of little interest to many in the Sunshine State’s political media, one of the hopefuls running to replace Gillum as Tallahassee’s mayor is not ignoring it.
According to a recently published article by Steve Stewart of Tallahassee Reports, former Gillum chief of staff and mayoral candidate Dustin Daniels is campaigning on improving upon what he called the city’s “highest number of murders in history last year.”
The mailer, proclaiming Daniels will “move Tallahassee forward” as mayor, backs up a previous report that showed a significant increase in Florida’s capital city’s murder rate while Gillum served as mayor.

Caravans of migrants continue pouring over US-Mexico border
Border Patrol agents are apprehending an increasing number of migrant groups that include more than 100 people on the northern side of the U.S.-Mexico border, and recorded two more incidents this week.
The total number of people found in large caravans wandering through southern Arizona in recent weeks now stands at 1,200, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
Agents based at Ajo Station in south-central Arizona found a group of 164 people and another that included about 100 people in the desert just north of Mexican city Sonoyta Tuesday afternoon, a press release issued Thursday stated.
Every person in the group was taken in by federal law enforcement agents and determined to be from three Central American countries: El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. The caravan members were between the ages of 11 months and 59 years.
Officials say the use of these 100- and 200-person groups has become the newest way smugglers are illegally moving people into the country.

Kavanaugh: 'I Fear the Whole Country Will Reap the Whirlwind' of Dems' Behavior
Judge Brett Kavanaugh accused Democrats and the left at Thursday’s Senate Judiciary Committee hearing of having created a dangerous precedent for the country in trying to defeat his nomination with last-minute, decades-old, uncorroborated sexual misconduct allegations.
“This confirmation process has become a national disgrace,” Kavanaugh said close to the beginning of his opening statement, where he gave a scathing assessment of how Democrats came to unveil the allegations against him. He quoted Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) saying those who support Kavanaugh are “complicit in evil” and former DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz asserting that confirming Kavanaugh would endanger millions of lives.

The Greatest Fly Over Ever
The Chiefs were playing the Raiders.
Obama had eliminated the patriotic military flyovers at large events.
A group of guys in Kansas City who do some formation flying in their own planes, decided they'd volunteer to pick up the slack. They invited a couple of other groups to join them and before they knew it they had 48 guys with their own airplanes signing up to join in. If they had more time, they probably would have gotten an even larger group as people kept joining and a 49th was added near the event.

Virginia seafood mogul pleads guilty to selling 'distressed' meat as fresh Chesapeake blue crab
The president of a Virginia seafood company pleaded guilty in federal court Wednesday to netting millions by fraudulently labeling hundreds of thousands of pounds of recalled, old or returned foreign crabmeat as fresh Chesapeake blue crab, according to court records.
The staggering bait-and-switch shocked the local food industry and highlighted the problem of mislabeled blue crab, which by some accounts is prevalent in restaurants and markets across Virginia, Maryland and The District. The case comes in an era when eating local has gained a fresh currency.
Federal prosecutors in Virginia say Casey's Seafood Inc. of Newport News mixed discount "distressed" crabmeat from Indonesia, Brazil and other locales with Chesapeake blue crab and labeled it as a "Product of the USA." At times, court documents show the crabmeat Casey's sold as Chesapeake blue crab contained only foreign meat.

With President Donald J. Trump at the helm of the Republican Party, the GOP has risen to its highest approval rating in nearly a decade, a new Gallup survey found.
GOP favorability, at 45 percent, is higher than Democrats’ 44 percent. Gallup says the surge in Republicans’ support level–a nine percent rise among the public since last September–is the highest rating the party has had since when the GOP took the House majority it still maintains, in January 2011, after the 2010 midterm elections. Back then, in January 2011, Republicans had a 47 percent approval rating but have slipped below 45 percent ever since. That means the GOP, under Trump, has surged to its highest approval rating in seven years. Gallup’s Jim Norman wrote:
The parity in Republicans’ and Democrats’ favorable ratings marks a change from what has generally been the case since Barack Obama’s election as president in November 2008. Republicans have usually been rated less positively than Democrats over this time, with the Republican Party’s favorability rating for the last decade averaging 39%, compared with the Democratic Party’s 44%. Only one other time in the last decade has the Republican Party had a significantly higher score than the Democratic Party. That one exception came in November 2014, immediately after elections that saw Republicans capture control of the Senate and expand their majority in the House, when 42% rated the GOP favorably and 36% the Democrats.
A rise in intra-GOP approval is a big reason why the GOP has now surpassed Democrats in overall approval, just two months before the election, in the Gallup survey. Donald Trump, Jr., President Trump’s eldest son, told Breitbart News that the reason for the rise inside the party is because Republicans finally have a leader they can count on.

As Their Coup d’etat Begins to Unravel – Deep State Participants Open Fire on Each Other
The Deep State is breaking up. It’s each man and woman for themselves as their Coup d’etat starts to unravel!
(Lisa Page arriving for her Congressional Hearing with a smile. Was she happy about the chance to throw DOJ Deep State participants under the bus?)
Rod Rosenstein has been acting as Attorney General since Jeff Sessions recused himself from his duties after he was sworn in. Rosenstein signed a FISA warrant to spy on Trump in June 2017, after appointing Robert Mueller as Special Counsel on May 17, 2017.
Yesterday it was reported by the far-left New York Times, based on a tip from one of their many dirty sources from the DOJ or FBI, that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein last year spoke with DOJ and FBI officials about wearing a wire and secretly recording President Trump to be able to build a case that Trump is unfit to hold office.
According to the Times, DAG Rosenstein began plotting Trump’s removal shortly after FBI Director Comey was fired. James Comey was fired on May 9th, 2017 and DAG Rosenstein appointed Special Counsel Robert Mueller to investigate Trump-Russia collusion a week later.

Atlantic Magazine: Immigration is Fracturing America into Rival Tribes
Immigration is splitting the United States into warring tribes, says an unusual article in the strongly pro-migration Atlanticmagazine.
The article, headlined “The Threat of Tribalism,” admitted:
The causes of America’s resurgent tribalism are many. They include seismic demographic change, which has led to predictions that whites will lose their majority status within a few decades; declining social mobility and a growing class divide; and media that reward expressions of outrage.
But the mass immigration of 44.5 million people is the primary cause of the three other factors — “declining social mobility and a growing class divide; and media that reward expressions of outrage.”

The Democrats have viciously overplayed their hand
This tragedy that became a farce is now a crime, the crime of purposeful defamation of an innocent man. Leftists are so determined to prevent Kavanaugh from becoming a justice on the Supreme Court that they have exposed themselves as the lowlife cheaters they are, without shame or any sense of decency.
When they do not win, they will do anything to undo their loss. This is what has motivated the left since the 2016 election. From the moment Trump won, leftists set about their plans to remove him from office by any means necessary. The cabal that put this plan into motion cares nothing for the law, the Constitution, or the people its members set out to ruin as they have Brett Kavanaugh.
There are no words to adequately describe how venal these conspirators among the congressional left are, how low they are prepared to go. To this day, not one Democrat has spoken out against this monstrous plan to destroy a fine man who has led an impeccable life. Not one. Each and every one of them knows that this is an odious campaign based on lies, but not one of them will admit to this fact. The Democratic Party is officially deplorable in every sense of the word.
Blasey Ford's allegations are laughable, not at all credible. The woman has no memory of when, where, how her alleged assault took place. She was and remains known for her excessive drinking. She has no idea who groped her any more than the second woman Ronan Farrow and Jane Mayer (who regularly celebrates the wrong people) have written about in the New Yorker knows who exposed himself to her, if anyone.
Like Blasey Ford, Deborah Ramirez also could not find one person to corroborate her story. She tried for six days! Is someone paying these women to prostitute themselves on the altar of lies in order to destroy Kavanaugh? Soros? Steyer? The Clintons? They are all infamous for funding and promoting this kind of fake news.

Rebecca Hagelin: Why I Believe the Charges Against Kavanaugh Are False
This past weekend my comments expressing support for Judge Brett Kavanaugh and my disgust at how the far Left will stop at nothing to derail his confirmation to the U.S. Supreme Court were included in an article in The New York Times.
Now I’m receiving emails from women who say they are rape victims and are aghast that I don’t believe Christine Blasey Ford’s accusations. They further accuse me of not supporting rape victims in general — a charge that is both cruel and made in ignorance. Although they provide no reasons why they believe Dr. Ford is credible and that Judge Kavanaugh is not, my letters responding to them detail my position.
As expected, new additional false allegations are being made against Mr Kavanaugh even as I write this. It's critical for everyone to understand that the far Left will go to any extreme to keep Judge Kavanaugh from being confirmed. I am angry that the very real issue of sexual assault is being used in such a clearly false manner. Such false charges not only destroy the lives and careers of the innocent, they sully the noble intent of the #MeToo movement, which is to achieve justice for women who are victims of heinous crimes.
For a nation that believes the guilty should be punished and that people are innocent until proven guilty, these gross attempts to derail justice are repugnant. My open letter below addresses the first false accuser, whom I view as fully discredited. Rest assured, other false accusers will continue to crawl out of the woodwork, because the Left is intent on creating chaos and transforming our nation into one big socialist cesspool. It’s time for decent Americans of both parties to call on the Senate to end the madness, the first step of which is to confirm Judge Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. Such a defeat of the Left will both set them back for many years and restore the constitutional law to American jurisprudence that protects each of us.

Now You Can Get High in the Deepest Place on Earth: The Mariana Trench!
Just kidding. The intensely pressurized atmospheric cocktail inside yourbathyscaphe probably precludes sparking one up.
But still, the thought alone brought smiles to our faces Friday, after news that recreational cannabis legalization has spread to the US territory of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
On Friday, Republican Gov. Ralph DLG. Torres signed a law making the Northern Mariana Islands the first place in the US to legalize cannabis sales through its legislature, not a popular vote.

Snyder: Poverty, Crime, & Human Feces - The Worst Cities In America Are Being Run By Democrats
Is it just a coincidence that many of the greatest cities in America became poverty-infested hellholes once the Democrats took charge of things? Detroit, Baltimore, Chicago, St. Louis, Philadelphia, Oakland and Memphis were all once great cities. But after an extended period of control by the Democratic Party, each one of them has become a festering crisis that never seems to end. I thought that I was going to do an article about Baltimore today, but it occurred to me that the exact same things that are happening in Baltimore are also happening in a multitude of other major cities, and the common theme among all of them is that the Democrats are in control. But even though this is the case, voters in those cities just keep choosing Democrats election after election anyway.
Let’s talk about crime first. According to the FBI, Baltimore had the highest murder rate in the entire country last year…
Baltimore had the worst homicide rate among the nation’s 50 largest cities last year and the second-highest violent crime rate overall, according to new data from the FBI.The grim news was the latest reminder of the sustained cycle of violence that has gripped the city since 2015, when the annual number of homicides soared above 300 for three consecutive years after the unrest that followed Freddie Gray’s death from injuries suffered in police custody.
In fact, it was the highest murder rate that Baltimore had ever seen.
So who runs Baltimore?
Democrats.
But Baltimore is definitely not alone. When you start going down the list, you find a lot more major cities run by Democrats…

Cal Thomas: Time to End the Judiciary Circus
The Ringling Brothers & Barnum and Bailey Circus announced last year it was closing after a 146-year run, largely because of high operating costs, costly legal battles with animal rights groups and declining ticket sales, especially after elephants were retired from the show.
Brett Kavanaugh’s embattled nomination for the Supreme Court has become a circus, and it’s time for the Senate Judiciary Committee to consider closing it to the public. As Kavanaugh’s nomination has shown, these hearings only serve the objectives of special interests and certain politicians, not the general public.
The Constitution is silent on congressional committees, which were established well after the document was ratified. The Senate Committee on the Judiciary (its official name) was, in fact, not established until 1816. Its purpose was to serve as a forum for public discussion on social and constitutional issues and to discover the views on these issues from nominees to federal courts and other high offices within the judicial system.
In modern times, this committee has been used as a stage for political theater. During the Kavanaugh hearings, activists from far-left groups disrupted the proceedings, hoping, presumably, to get their pictures in the papers. Their rude behavior guarantees it. Defenders say they are exercising their First Amendment rights, but should those rights deny others their right to speak without being interrupted?

Italian General: Solve African Mass Migration with Birth Control
Italian general and noted author Carlo Jean has dismissed the possibility of successful military action in Libya and warned that birth control measures need to be implemented to stop the massive future population growth in Africa.
General Jean, who currently serves as a professor of Geopolitics at the Marconi University in Rome, has claimed that Italian military intervention in the deteriorating situation in Libya would be “impossible”, Il Giornale reports.
Jean blamed French President Emmanuel Macron for destabilising the country saying that a summit Macron held in May excluded many local tribal leaders and led to tribal leaders thinking they would be “marginalised from access to wealth and moved against the centre of power”.

Robin Smith: Why Keeping the Senate Matters
Republicans are clinging to a 51-49 majority in the U.S. Senate. Look to November.
Republicans are clinging to a slim 51-49 majority in the U.S. Senate, which has proven to be a challenge throughout the first two years of the presidency of Donald Trump. The upcoming midterm elections are particularly crucial to the implementation and protection of policies that are pro-America and, candidly, depend on the voters who hoisted Donald Trump into the White House to turn out with the same energy and determination in November.
Remember, Trump’s victory was not based on his polished résumé or rhetoric. Instead, he had the audacity to run on issues that Americans care about: the value of citizenship threatened by an open border, an apologetic approach to leading the world (from behind), repealing ObamaCare, cutting taxes and regulation, and restoring the authentic definition of free and fair trade to honor the American worker. The cherry on top — but also the reason for many conservative votes — was the promise of constructionist judicial appointments. And we see the Left’s resistance to that aspect through stunts like Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation process.
With such a narrow majority, the “Trump” agenda — which by the way sounds an awful lot like what Ronald Reagan ran on, as has every national Republican candidate since the 1980s — has been difficult to entirely fulfill in the face of Democrat obstruction in the Senate. Furthermore, the upper chamber has been home to some of Trump’s most vocal Republican opponents — John McCain, Bob Corker, and Jeff Flake, the latter two of whom are departing — in addition to the parade of charlatans who are running for president on the Democratic Socialist ticket in 2020: Elizabeth Warren, Kamila Harris, Cory Booker, Kirsten Gillibrand, and Bernie Sanders.
