Mexico gives African migrants 20-day pass to get to U.S. border
Somalis, Ethiopians, 'everyone knows it's a free for all'
igrants from Africa, Haiti and the Middle East are swarming across the border in a mad dash that is being facilitated by Mexican officials, according to new reports.
The flow has been increasing ever since the election of Donald Trump on Nov. 8, border agents tell WND.
The U.S. has been taking in between 70,000 and 110,000 legal refugees per year from dozens of countries including up to 10,000 a year from Somalia and more than 12,000 a year from Syria.
But that’s not enough to satisfy the demand for migrants from these countries trying to reach U.S. soil. Thousands of others are coming across the border illegally and seeking asylum from countries other than Mexico and other than Central America.
Dozens are reportedly finding their way to the U.S.-Mexican border illegally every day.
Think Somalia, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Haiti, Pakistan and Sudan.

Women’s March Organizer Recently Met Ex-Hamas Operative, Has Family Ties To Terror Group
Linda Sarsour, one of the organizers behind Saturday’s Women’s March, being held in Washington, D.C., was recently spotted at a large Muslim convention in Chicago posing for pictures with an accused financier for Hamas, the terrorist group.
Sarsour, the head of the Arab American Association of New York and an Obama White House “Champion of Change,” was speaking at last month’s 15th annual convention of the Muslim American Society and Islamic Circle of North America.
While there, she posed for a picture with Salah Sarsour, a member of the Islamic Society of Milwaukee and former Hamas operative who was jailed in Israel in the 1990s because of his alleged work for the terrorist group.

Populist Marine Le Pen Takes Lead in Polls as French Elections Approach
A new poll finds that populist leader Marine Le Pen now leads France’s presidential race while the incumbent Socialist Party has plummeted in popularity.
Thursday’s poll, conducted by CEVIPOF (Centre de Recherche de Sciences Po) in partnership with the French daily Le Monde, shows Le Pen of the populist National Front (FN) with between 25 and 26 percent of the vote, while the Socialist Party’s BenoĆ®t Hamon and Arnaud Montebourg (PS) received only 7% of voting intentions.
The Socialists will be holding an open presidential primary on January 22, followed by a runoff election a week later to choose between the two candidates with the most votes. The presidential election itself will take place on April 23, with the possibility of a run-off election in May should no candidate obtain an absolute majority.

Secret Service WILL investigate Madonna after singer says she wants to BLOW UP the White House in expletive-filled rant at women's march
The Secret Service has allegedly said they will open an investigation into pop singer Madonna after her intense speech at the Women's March on Washington on Saturday afternoon.
Donning a black p***yhat, the music icon caused controversy by dropping the F-bomb four times, causing a slew of apologies from broadcasters airing the protest live.
She went on to speak of her rage at the election result, telling the crowd she had thought a lot about 'blowing up the White House' but knew that it 'wouldn't change anything'.

Trump Picks Former Gov. Perdue as Agriculture Secretary
President Donald Trump has picked a former Georgia governor to be his Secretary of Agriculture, according to Sen. David Perdue.
The choice of George “Sonny” Perdue III, as the Secretary of Agriculture was announced by Sen. Perdue:
I could not be more proud of my cousin, Sonny, for being named the next Secretary of Agriculture. Sonny’s executive experience as a two-term Governor of Georgia, the first Republican in 135 years, as well as his veterinary background and agribusiness career, are a few of the many reasons he is the best person for the job.
Sonny is a national leader having served as the Chairman of the Republican Governors Association, board member for the National Grain & Feed Association, President of the Georgia Feed and Grain Association, and President of the Southeastern Feed and Grain Association. I am confident Sonny will work hard to advance smart agriculture policies that will help our farmers, ranchers, and rural communities across the country.

Delaware welcomes Joe Biden home after decades in Washington
WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) — On his last day as vice president, Joe Biden briefly revived a tradition he had followed faithfully as a U.S. senator for Delaware: He rode the commuter train home from Washington.
Biden and his wife, Jill, hopped aboard an Amtrak train bound for Wilmington after attending the inauguration of President Donald Trump in Washington on Friday.
Marching band members and alumni from Biden’s alma mater, the University of Delaware, joined scores of uniformed Delaware National Guard troops, schoolchildren and hundreds of other well-wishers to greet the Bidens at a celebration on Wilmington’s riverfront, a stone’s throw from the Amtrak station that bears his name.
“We never thought we left home,” a subdued Biden said as he began his speech, quickly becoming emotional.
“When I die, Delaware will be written on my heart,” he added, wiping away tears.

Obama’s Legacy Will Be Forever Etched in Halls of the Federal Reserve
He was the Fed's best friend ever. Could they've had a better business partner than Obama, taking the Federal budget and clown raping it with ruinous levels of spending. The Fed's mandate shifted from tinkering with rates during periods of need to blatantly controlling asset prices and the economy.
As of right now, during the final hours of Obama's presidency, the Federal Reserve has never been more powerful. It is the central bank to the world -- doling out liquidity to whoever needs it -- regardless of national sovereignty.
Plainly, it has become a caricature of itself, a cabal weaponized to the point of lunacy -- totally unchecked and operating in the shadows with impunity.
There are many things that will be forgotten, many mistake that will be corrected, after Obama has gone.
But this will last forever.

Hillary Clinton's gut-wrenching day
It was not the Inauguration Day that Hillary Clinton imagined.
When the skies finally opened up on Friday and rain began to fall over the US Capitol, Clinton's turn to stand before the thousands gathered on the Mall and take the oath of office as the 45th president never came.
Instead, she remained seated with her husband, Bill Clinton, by her side. And she watched a man whom she believes is fundamentally unfit to hold the highest office of the land get sworn in as her next president.
Donald Trump's inauguration on Friday and the ceremonial passing of the baton by Barack Obama crystalized before a watchful nation the deeply personal loss that Clinton had suffered in November.

Trump Targets Three Liberal Favorites With Budget Cuts
President-elect Donald Trump’s reported plan to gut federal spending by $10.5 trillion over the next decade includes eliminating three of iconic agencies defended as cultural mainstays by many Democrats.
The next administration is working on plans to eliminate the National Endowment for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Humanities and privatize the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, The Hill reported Thursday.
Combined, the three departments cost around $741 million in 2016, and is a small part of a host of budget reforms needed to cut more than a trillion a year from the federal budget.
Eliminating funding to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which runs PBS and supports shows like Sesame Street, is not a new idea. Mitt Romney suggested cutting the CPB during the 2012 presidential campaign, and was quickly criticized. President Barack Obama even accused Romney of trying to kill Big Bird in a campaign ad.

Lawmakers react to Trump's inauguration with criticism, optimism
WASHINGTON -- More than 60 Democratic members of Congress boycotted Donald Trump’s inauguration, but at the stroke of noon, even those who didn’t attend found themselves out in the cold
A minority party in the House and Senate, Democrats are now shunted out of the White House, too.
Maryland Rep. Elijah Cummings told CBS News’ Nancy Cordes “I was hoping he would say more to bring the country together.”
Other Democrats described the speech as a “dark portrait of America, crime ridden and weak.”

Trump returns Churchill bust to the Oval Office
President Trump has returned a bust of former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill to the Oval Office, which had been removed by his predecessor in 2009.
Reporters first noticed that the bust had been placed back in the room on Friday, just as Trump was signing a series of executive orders at the Resolute desk.
Obama had moved the bust to the White House residence during his first few days in office and later installed separate busts of Martin Luther King Jr. and President Lincoln in its place.
A spokesperson for British Prime Minister Theresa May confirmed last week that Trump had personally asked if England would loan the bust of Churchill to the U.S. once he took office.

Trump And A New Gold-Backed Dollar
On August 15, 1971, President Nixon killed the last remnants of the gold standard.
Since then, the dollar has been a pure fiat currency, allowing the Fed to print as many dollars as it pleases.
Removing the US dollar’s last link to gold eliminated the main motivation for foreign countries to store large dollar reserves and to use the dollar for international trade.
At this point, demand for dollars was set to fall… along with the dollar’s purchasing power. So the US government concocted a new arrangement to give foreign countries another compelling reason to hold and use the dollar.
The new arrangement, called the petrodollar system, preserved the dollar’s special status as the world’s reserve currency.
In short, the US government made a series of agreements with Saudi Arabia between 1972 and 1974, which created the petrodollar.
The Saudis would use their dominant position in OPEC to ensure that all oil transactions would only happen in US dollars. And the US would guarantee the House of Saud’s survival.
It worked… for a while.
The petrodollar filled the void after the US severed the dollar’s last link to gold as the main prop to the dollar’s status as the world’ premier reserve currency.
So far, the petrodollar has lasted over 40 years. However, the glue is losing its stick.

Maryland Reducing Operations at 75-Year-Old Prison
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) — Maryland’s prison agency says it’s reducing operations at the 75-year-old Maryland Correctional Institution near Hagerstown.
Gary McLhinney of the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services told The Herald-Mail Thursday that 300 inmates and 45 correctional officers have been moved to other prisons. It’s not clear how many inmates are left. McLhinney says 57 more officers will be transferred in June.
Republican State Delegate Brett Wilson says the state is gradually closing most of the medium-security prison to improve safety and living conditions.
McLhinney says some programs will remain there.

General ‘Mad Dog’ Mattis’ sends first message to troops as Secretary of Defense
Newly inaugurated President Trump celebrated the confirmation of his first cabinet pick, Secretary of Defense James Mattis, on Friday afternoon. The retired Marine general “scholar-soldier” nicknamed “Mad Dog Mattis” by the press released a statement to the Department of Defense soon after his swearing in.
“It’s good to be back and I’m grateful to serve alongside you as Secretary of Defense,” he began.
Together with the Intelligence Community we are the sentinels and guardians of our nation. We need only look to you, the uniformed and civilian members of the department and your families, to see the fundamental unity of our country. You represent an America committed to the common good; an America that is never complacent about defending its freedoms; and an America that remains a steady beacon of hope for all mankind.

Here's Barack Obama's Going Away Message on Twitter. It's Perfectly Ridiculous.
Hours before handing the presidency to Donald Trump, outgoing President Obama gave the following message on the White House's official Twitter account:
Sticking to his popular catchphrase, Obama insinuates that he succeeded in his mission to unite Americans and place America in a better position than it was when he assumed the presidency eight years ago today. However, as we have all witnessed, the opposite is true. As Daily Wire contributor Harry Khachatrian eloquently stated in his article outlining race relations during the Obama administration:
Racial riots and hostile tribal divisions weren’t nearly as common-occurring under past presidential administrations in recent history. What happened? Police activity or the criminal justice system didn’t suddenly begin to wantonly target black people as Obama was sworn into office.
At every opportunity to quash racial division, Obama's rhetoric instead amplified it. For eight years he continuously peddled the notion that America is a deeply racist, unjust vessel of oppression. While he would at times admit that some progress had been made in race relations, he consistently returned to his rhetoric about a country plagued by "systemic racism." And so, race relations in America changed to reflect the vision Obama promulgated for 8 years. The media beloved racial unifier, Barack Obama presided over the deterioration of race relations in America. If you like your race relations, you’ll get to keep your race relations.

Official White House Website Immediately Updated With Amazing Message For Police
The official WhiteHouse.Gov website was immediately updated when President Trump was inaugurated, and it now displays a promise to law enforcement.
Listed under the “Issues,” is the following:
Standing Up For Our Law Enforcement Community
One of the fundamental rights of every American is to live in a safe community. A Trump Administration will empower our law enforcement officers to do their jobs and keep our streets free of crime and violence. The Trump Administration will be a law and order administration. President Trump will honor our men and women in uniform and will support their mission of protecting the public. The dangerous anti-police atmosphere in America is wrong. The Trump Administration will end it.
The Trump Administration is committed to reducing violent crime. In 2015, homicides increased by 17% in America’s fifty largest cities. That’s the largest increase in 25 years. In our nation’s capital, killings have risen by 50 percent. There were thousands of shootings in Chicago last year alone.
Our country needs more law enforcement, more community engagement, and more effective policing.
Our job is not to make life more comfortable for the rioter, the looter, or the violent disrupter. Our job is to make life more comfortable for parents who want their kids to be able to walk the streets safely. Or the senior citizen waiting for a bus. Or the young child walking home from school.
Supporting law enforcement means supporting our citizens’ ability to protect themselves. We will uphold Americans’ Second Amendment rights at every level of our judicial system.
President Trump is committed to building a border wall to stop illegal immigration, to stop the gangs and the violence, and to stop the drugs from pouring into our communities. He is dedicated to enforcing our border laws, ending sanctuary cities, and stemming the tide of lawlessness associated with illegal immigration.
Supporting law enforcement also means deporting illegal aliens with violent criminal records who have remained within our borders.
It is the first duty of government to keep the innocent safe, and President Donald Trump will fight for the safety of every American, and especially those Americans who have not known safe neighborhoods for a very long time.
Fed’s Previous Concerns Not Enough To Derail Thin Blue Line Effort
OCEAN CITY — The town intends to move forward with the painting of a “thin blue line” along a section of 65th Street in support of the resort’s police department, despite an apparent pushback from federal officials on similar efforts in neighboring coastal communities in New Jersey.
In December, the Mayor and Council approved a measure that began at the police commission level to paint a “thin blue line” in support of law enforcement on the section of 65th Street between Coastal Highway and the Public Safety Building, which houses the Ocean City Police Department (OCPD) headquarters. Mayor Rick Meehan said the idea came about after reading an article about Ocean City, N.J. officials painting a thin blue line between the double yellow lines in the street in front of the police station.
However, it came to light the Federal Highway Administration has sent letters to officials in Ocean City, N.J. and other coastal communities where similar efforts have been undertaken, asserting that the painting of a blue line in the roadway could be in violation of federal laws. Specifically, the letters point to a section in the manual on uniform traffic control devices for streets and highways, which states the double-yellow lines on roads and highways should be kept clear of other markings including the painting of a blue line.

Donald Trump the Revolutionary
He is coming to change many things in the lives of Americans
Not since 1980 — or perhaps 1932 — has such a political revolution hit the banks of the Potomac River.
Donald Trump comes into the White House with a bright, clear mandate to make wholesale changes to every aspect of the federal government.
From the darkest corners of the bloated federal bureaucracy to the bright marble columns of the Supreme Court, Mr. Trump’s mandate is as broad as it is dramatic. Illegal immigration, international trade, education, Obamacare and America’s war against terrorism are all on the table for complete overhauls.
Refreshingly, Mr. Trump’s mandate is not a partisan one. He owes very little to the Republican Party and absolutely nothing to the Democratic Party. He handily defeated partisans on both sides of the political aisle.

A FedEx courier and former security guard from Illinois was surprised with an invitation to meet with Donald Trump after the President-elect saw a story on the struggling single father. But the special meeting wasn’t the only surprise. The young man was stunned when Trump presented him with a check for $10,000.

“This is pretty much the biggest thing I’ve done in my life,” Bouvet told the paper. “I don’t get out much. I’m a small-town, blue-collar guy.”

A New Approach Along Route 50?
Worcester County was right to relax Route 50 design guidelines, but local residents should be weary of what could be coming in the future as a result.
These design guidelines came about in the 1990s as a result of a visioning process that involved crafting a corridor plan on Route 50 from Seahawk Road east to Holly Grove Road. That area was at that time expected to become a hotbed for commercial development, specifically franchise restaurants and retail businesses.
With a few exceptions, that has never materialized. The economic collapse of a decade ago is partly to blame. The seasonality of the area and the small — relatively speaking — year-round population is part of the equation as well. The high cost of available properties and requisite utility connections are also part of the reason why this area has not been attractive to corporate types. We believe these are the primary reasons.
According to county officials and lawyers representing prospective developers, the current design guidelines on the books in Worcester County are to blame as well. They see them as too restrictive for national brand names being sought to build in front of the Wal-Mart and Home Depot and on either side of the big box stores.

Hillary Clinton in white pantsuit for Trump inauguration
Donald Trump extended an olive branch to Hillary Clinton on Friday afternoon in the form of a 30-second standing ovation for his political nemesis after a luncheon with members of Congress.
And at long last, she offered a broad smile.
Trump's moment of generosity came after Clinton, the Democratic Party's unsuccessful White House candidate, braved an inauguration ceremony that she had expected would mark the beginning of her own presidency.
She and her husband, former president Bill Clinton, sat through that ceremony stone-faced, betraying little of the regret and disappointment that comes along with losing the world's most consequential election.
Adding insult to injury, a pocket of Trump supporters in the crowd chanted 'Lock her up!' when the Clintons were introduced.

Michelle Obama's face doesn't hide how she feels about Donald Trump becoming US President
Former first lady's face sums up how many feel about the election of the New York property tycoon
Michelle Obama looked unimpressed during the inauguration ofDonald Trump as 45th President of the United States – summing up the mood among critics of the controversial billionaire who was sworn in at a ceremony on Capitol Hill.
Eyebrow raised, the former first lady stood and watched as Mr Trump recited the 35-word oath.
Her dour facial expression prompted an immediate reaction on social media, with one person saying that her evident displeasure at the New York tycoon becoming the most powerful man on the planet “spoke for all of us”.
One image showed Ms Obama – who has been touted as a future presidential candidate – standing uncomfortably as she gave the new US President a sideways glance.
She also appeared unimpressed earlier in the day when she was handed a box by Mr Trump’s wife Melania.

US Government Caught Massively Fabricating Student Loan Default Data
Ever since 2012 we have warned that one of the biggest threats arising from the US student loan bubble - which is no longer disputed by anyone except perhaps members of the outgoing administration - is not that it is soaring at an unprecedented pace, that's obvious for anyone with the latest loan total number over $1.4 trillion, rising at a pace of nearly $100 billion per year, but that the government - either on purpose or due to honest miscalculation - was not correctly accounting for the true extent of delinquencies and defaults. Today, we finally got confirmation that, as speculated, the US government was indeed fabricating student loan default data, making it appear far lower than it was in reality.
An the WSJ reported overnight "many more students have defaulted on or failed to pay back their college loans than the U.S. government previously believed."
The admission came last Friday, when the Education Department released a memo saying that it had overstated student loan repayment rates at most colleges and trade schools and provided updated numbers. This also means that the number of loan defaults in various cohorts is far greater than previously revealed.
A spokeswoman for the Education Department said that the problem resulted from a "technical programming error."
And so, the infamous "glitch" strikes again.

Protesters Prepare For Women's March After Trump's Inauguration
Just over 10 weeks after the idea was first proposed in a Facebook post, tens of thousands of protesters are heading to the nation's capital for the Women's March on Washington on Saturday.
Similar marches are planned in more than 600 other cities and towns around the world. But the largest is expected to take place in Washington, D.C., less than 24 hours into the presidency of Donald Trump.
Organizers are expecting around 200,000 marchers to gather on the National Mall. To accommodate the throng of visitors, Washington's Metro subway system will add trains and open two hours early — at 5 a.m. — on Saturday.
A four-hour rally is expected to kick off the march near the National Museum of the American Indian. It will feature speeches by Angela Davis, Gloria Steinem and the mothers of Trayvon Martin and Eric Garner, as well as musical performances by artists including Janelle MonƔe, Maxwell and the Indigo Girls.

After Debate Over Need, Ocean City Council Votes To Buy Private Property
OCEAN CITY — Ocean City officials approved on second reading this week the purchase of a downtown property that could ultimately be used as a new staging area for the Boardwalk tram, but not before a spirited debate about the town’s recent penchant for purchasing private property in general.
The Mayor and Council on Tuesday approved an ordinance authorizing the purchase of a handful of parcels in the area of 2nd Street and St. Louis Avenue for a future Public Works maintenance area and staging area for the Boardwalk tram. The Boardwalk tram is currently maintained at a location on South 1st Street known as the Whiteside facility.
The Whiteside facility is nearing the end of its useful life and replacing it has been listed as a high priority in Ocean City’s long-term strategic plan. A potential replacement location has been identified as 2nd Street and St. Louis Avenue. The plan is to purchase the property for $2 million with an upfront investment of $400,000. The remaining $1.6 million would be financed with the sale of a 10-year general obligation bond offered at a low interest rate.

Hundreds Arrested In D.C. Protests
An inauguration protest in Washington, D.C., turned confrontational on Friday, as several hundred black-clad protesters broke windows and police responded with pepper spray and a concussive device.
The interim chief of the Metropolitan Police Department, Peter Newsham, said 217 protesters have been arrested, and 6 officers sustained minor injuries.
Newsham, in a late afternoon news conference, said those arrested will be charged with rioting. He added that most of the protestors were peaceful, but that a small group of people seemed intent on creating mayhem.
"They began to destroy property and throw objects at people and through windows. A large percentage of this small group was armed with crowbars and hammers. Vehicles and store fronts were damaged. ... [It] appeared the activities of this small group were organized and intentional," he said.

LOL: TRUMP ORDERS A STANDING OVATION FOR HILLARY AND BILL CLINTON – AND FINALLY GETS THEM TO SMILE
She and her husband, former president Bill Clinton, sat through that ceremony stone-faced
Donald Trump extended an olive branch to Hillary Clinton on Friday afternoon in the form of a 30-second standing ovation for his political nemesis after a luncheon with members of Congress.
And at long last, she offered a broad smile.
Trump’s moment of generosity came after Clinton, the Democratic Party’s unsuccessful White House candidate, braved an inauguration ceremony that she had expected would mark the beginning of her own presidency.
She and her husband, former president Bill Clinton, sat through that ceremony stone-faced, betraying little of the regret and disappointment that comes along with losing the world’s most consequential election.
Adding insult to injury, a pocket of Trump supporters in the crowd chanted ‘Lock her up!’ when the Clintons were introduced.

Man convicted of killing family is executed in Virginia
A man who murdered two families during a brutal week-long killing spree has been executed in Virginia.
Death row inmate Ricky Gray, 39, was pronounced dead at 9.42pm on Wednesday following a lethal injection at the Greensville Correctional Center in Jarratt, Virginia.
Gray showed no emotion as he was walked into the execution chamber wearing blue jeans and handcuffs. Asked if he had any final words, Gray responded: 'Nope.'
He was put to death 11 years after he slaughtered two young girls and their parents by slashing their throats and setting their home ablaze during a violent New Year's Day home invasion.
Just seven days later he killed another family-of-three, but got away with the crime as he was never tried.

8 MOST UNHINGED INAUGURAL MEDIA MELTDOWNS
Press used historic moment to wish ill on Trump's supporters, whine about Hillary and more
Donald Trump is now the 45th president of the United States, having been sworn in by John Roberts, chief justice of the United States.
“There is a chance that Trump marks the beginning of the end of American democracy. And, yes, there is a good chance that Trump will corrupt the American republic in lasting ways.”
At least the hysterical denial and anger from his detractors and the media is over. Maybe.
But as the moment approached, many in the mainstream media could not help themselves and disgraced journalism and themselves with over-the-top pronouncements of alarm and bitterness.
They fretted. They sweated. They worried. And, of course, they made outrageous comments about Trump as the sand in the hourglass ran out.
‘I Wish You Pain, Trumpers’
Chauncey DeVega of Salon wrote of Trump supporters, “They made a decision that loyalty to whiteness took precedence to a shared sense of humanity and the Common Good.”
Therefore, they almost deserve to suffer, he wrote.
“The butcher’s bill has come due: President Donald Trump is about to victimize his own voters,” Salon titled his essay.
“Our new president’s supporters are likely to suffer from his regressive policies. My compassion is limited,” DeVega wrote. “This is my version of liberal Schadenfreude — with slightly more hostile intent.”

President Trump Signs Executive Order To 'Ease The Burdens Of Obamacare'
As promised, President Trump got to work on Day One, spending some time in the Oval Office in between the inaugural parade and a trio of formal balls.
Trump signed an executive order Friday night directing government agencies to "ease the burdens" of Obamacare while the new administration and Congress work toward repealing and replacing the Affordable Care Act.
White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus presented Trump with the order, which he described as: "An executive order minimizing the economic burden of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act pending repeal."
It's not clear what kind of relief the executive order envisions.
Trump also signed paperwork authorizing the elevation of two new Cabinet secretaries. The Senate voted this evening to confirm Trump's nominees for defense secretary, James Mattis, and homeland security secretary, John Kelly.

THIS IS WHY TRUMP WON: No more free money for artists!
It looks like Donald Trump is about to really cut government spending. I applaud that big time. The National Endowment of the Arts is rumored to get axed and PBS is about to be privatized. All of America will cheer over just those two things. The Departments of Energy, Transportation and Justice are all going to get severely downsized. That is the first reduction of government we have seen since Reagan and I almost feel like weeping in relief. I pray Trump does this… it will be like water to a man dying of thirst in the desert.
All of America is tuned in today to see Donald Trump sworn in as the 45th President of the United States. They are also breathlessly waiting to see what his first actions will be other than turning over his cell phone. I don’t know about you, but after eight horrific years under the Marxist boot of Obama, I am overcome with emotion. I have no idea what Trump will do, but I can tell you this… it will be an improvement over what we have suffered under for so very long. This has been a long, painful time coming.

OC To Add Gates Around Problem Dumpsters
OCEAN CITY — Resort officials last week agreed to provide gates around dumpsters at the Northside Park facility after area residents complained about their relocation.
During the Jan. 10 Recreation and Parks Committee meeting, Recreation and Parks Director Susan Petito said some dumpsters at Northside Park had been relocated when it was learned some commercial businesses in the area had been filling them up with their own trash at the town’s expense.
“The dumpsters out front were being abused by commercial businesses in that area,” she said. “As a result, the dumpsters were moved around to the side, but now we’re hearing complaints from the neighboring condos.”
Petito said moving the dumpsters back to their original location was not an option due to the abuses by neighboring businesses. She said in the interest of being good neighbors, the department was considering putting gates around the dumpsters to placate the concerned residents, but doing so came with a $3,500 price tag.

Liberals On The Warpath Again On SBYNews
I guess I shouldn't be surprised but the snowflakes are bombarding Salisbury News attacking President Trump and guess what, even his FEMALE Wife and Staff.
Of course their comments aren't seeing the light of day and the funny part about their anger and aggression allows me to SPAM their comments so they go away for good.
Look, I don't mind healthy debate and opposition. I know how to agree to disagree. However, these comments are so over the top and so ridiculous, they're wasting my time moderating hundreds of them.
One of the funniest comments I've seen in a while came in about the ECI stabbing post. The crybabies are attacking me because, (in their opinion) we only publish the bad and the public doesn't need to know about the crime at ECI. Funny, their own Liberal Newspapers/TV News throughout the state published the last story about all the criminal activity recently but now, (just as we broke the last major story before anyone else) because we, (once again) got the story before the rest of the media, they're pissed off.
This institution is designed to rehabilitate prisoners. IF each prisoner is expected to get stabbed and even killed, why not just give everyone a death sentence for anything and everything. Many of these people made mistakes and are paying the price. There are some that anyone working there can tell you IF they get out, they'll be back in no time at all. That being the case, they need to separate the higher risk prisoners from from the rest of the prisoners simply doing their time.
Finally, (on this matter) one would think that after the last investigation and multiple arrests of ECI Employees, how did this prisoner get their hands on this sharp enough instrument to stab someone multiple times? The public deserves the right to know what is going on there. WE pay dearly for that institution well above and beyond financial commitment. We've seen recently how poorly that place is being managed.
GO HERE to view the last article we published about the crooked former staff at ECI. Better yet, go to our search bar in the top left hand corner and simply type in ECI and read ALL of the history we've delivered over the years.

Trump Brushes off Obama, Says He’ll Keep Tweeting Thanks to Secret Service
Donald Trump’s penchant for using Twitter even after the election has caused a lot of questions. Once he is sworn in, will he stop tweeting? Or will this continue for the next four years? It seemed that the tweeting might slow down when Trump turned his phone into the Secret Service — but he got a new phone, Secret Service-approved — so he can continue reaching out to his followers on Twitter.
Trump’s new phone will be encrypted, so it can be secure. He will still be able to make and receive calls, but few people will be given the number.
He has also confirmed that he does plan to continue using Twitter. While Barack Obama set up an official @POTUS account, Trump does not plan on using it. Instead, he will keep using his @RealDonaldTrump account. Surprisingly, Trump is not the one who posts his tweets — his staffers do it for him, after he dictates his thoughts for them. “I thought I’d do less of it [tweeting], but I’m covered so dishonestly by the press — so dishonestly,” Trump recently said as an explanation.

Slashing Spending: Will Donald Trump Do It?
NEW PRESIDENT PROMISED TO LIMIT GOVERNMENT …
Supporters of limited government are understandably optimistic about this week’s inauguration of Donald Trump as the 45th president of the United States. Why? Because Trump has vowed to slash federal spending – which grew by obscene amounts under the administrations of both George W. Bush and Barack Obama.
“I’m not cutting services, but I’m cutting spending,” Trump said early on in his 2016 presidential campaign.
He later included hundreds of billions of dollars worth of spending cuts as part of his broader economic agenda.
“If we save just one penny of each federal dollar spent on non-defense, and non-entitlement programs, we can save almost $1 trillion over the next decade – again this is spending that does not touch defense, and that does not touch entitlements,” Trump said during a speech last September.

Obama threatens to pounce on Trump
Vows to jump off political sidelines if incoming president goes against 'core values'
In his final news conference as president Wednesday, Barack Obama vowed to step off the political sidelines if incoming President Donald Trump dares to “round up” children of illegal immigrants, “roll back voting rights” or otherwise engage in “systemic discrimination.”
Obama offered hints about his post-White House plans when he indicated he would take a more activist role to defend “core values that may be at stake” under a Trump administration.
“If I saw systematic discrimination [is] being ratified in some fashion. I put in that category explicit or functional obstacles to people being able to vote, to exercise their franchise,” Obama said.
He added, “I put in that category institutional efforts to silence dissent or the press.”
But it was the so-called DREAMers, or children of illegal immigrants, who got Obama the most fired up.

Indiana YMCA Removes CNN from TVs Over Complaints About 'Fake News'
A YMCA in Indiana has removed CNN from the TVs in its wellness and exercise areas over complaints from members upset by the constant fake news the cable network airs.
The Valparaiso, Indiana, YMCA issued a statement to members that the cable news network was removed from facility TVs because too many members complained about the programing.
Debra Koeppen, the YMCA’s chief development officer, said that “Trying to please everyone” is the “No. 1 problem we have in the wellness area,” according to Chicago Tribune reporter Jerry Davich, who claims to be a member of the YMCA in question.
Earlier this week, Robert Wanek, CEO of the Valparaiso YMCA, sent a message to members saying, “In order to eliminate perceived political bias associated with national news outlets, the Valparaiso Family YMCA will only be showing local news channels in the future.”

Obama Leaves U.S.A $9,335,000,000,000 Deeper in Debt
(CNSNews.com) - President Barack Obama will leave the federal government approximately $9,335,000,000,000 deeper in debt than it was when he took office eight years ago, according to data released today by the U.S. Treasury.
The increased debt incurred under Obama equals approximately $75,129 for every person in the United States who had a full-time job in December.
The $9,334,590,089,060.56 that the debt had increased under Obama as of the close of business on Wednesday is far more debt than was accumulated by any previous president. It equals nearly twice as much as the $4,889,100,310,609.44 in additional debt that piled up during the eight years George W. Bush served as president.

The Un-Affordable Care Act - Why Obama's singular achievement was an absolute disaster
Joe,
I received the attached letter (addressed to my son) this week from the IRS - Yes, the IRS. As many people know, the IRS is the enforcement agency for those people non-compliant with the ACA.
Let that sink in. The IRS, the scariest agency since the Gestapo, is in charge of making sure people pay for insurance they can’t or probably won’t use. The Obama administration told us “It’s not a tax.” And, the liberal leaning Supreme Court even sided with him. So, why was the tax collection agency put in charge of collecting the ‘fees’? And, if it’s not a tax, why pay for insurance you’re not going to use, or can’t use because the deductibles are too high? Maybe because you pay into the system so sick people who can’t afford health care can use your funds to pay for theirs?? If that’s not the definition of a tax –redistribution of wealth- I don’t know what is. And the liberals are still surprised that Trump won! He promised to eliminate this disaster and will be doing that next week. Thank God.
The letter states: “We are writing to make sure you know how you can AVOID THIS PENALTY by signing up for health insurance or getting an exemption.” The penalty would be at least $695 (and if he was married with children, a whopping $2,085!!). He hardly ever sees a doctor, and if he did, his bill would not be even close to $695, so why even get insurance. So, you can avoid the penalty for buying something you don’t need or want. Sounds like a great deal. Like selling ice cubes to Eskimo’s.
The irony of this letter is that my son, who graduated from college (was on our plan until then) and decided he wanted to serve his country, joined the Army that year to train for the Army Special Forces. Because of the Obama policy on limiting the size of the military (no need because “ ISIS is a JV team”), his 18x-contract was delayed. The IRS knows that, because he informed them, and they have records of his Army income. This is the same country he wants to serve and protect. Sometimes, I wonder why. Defending a bunch of flag-burning, NFL-kneeling, protesting liberals.
He already had his rectal exam at his physical. He doesn’t need the Internal Revenue Service to give him another one!!!
Mr. Trump….Make Our Country Great Again. Make it the country my son will be proud to serve.
Protests parallel inauguration, 217 arrested for rioting
WASHINGTON — Protesters halted traffic on a major highway, set a car on fire, threw rocks at police and swarmed streets a few blocks from the White House as Donald Trump’s supporters celebrated his presidential inauguration on Friday.
A total of 217 people were arrested after violence broke out just before Trump was to be sworn in as the 45th president of the United States. They were charged with rioting and will appear in court Saturday morning, said Interim D.C. Police Chief Peter Newsham.
“We welcome visitors to our city. But we will not tolerate the destruction of our neighborhoods and we absolutely will not tolerate violence against our police officers,” Mayor Muriel Bowser said in an evening press briefing.

Riots Escalating: Explosives, Feces, Bottles Full Of Nails Thrown, Multiple Cops Hospitalized
Washington DC – Our police sources on the ground at the Washington DC inauguration riots are reporting back to us that the situation is escalating with more cops getting hurt.
The Washington DC inauguration rioters are throwing explosives, feces, bottles full of nails, and bricks at police officers. At least one patrol car has been flipped and set on fire. Several officers have been injured in the attacks and have been transported to the hospital.
Around 100 people have been arrested so far in the riots but there are hundreds of more violent rioters who continue to attack police officers and have lashed out violently at any perceived Trump supporters.
The incident started to escalate earlier when rioters began attacking officers and smashing everything in sight. Police surrounded a group of about 100 rioters and arrested them, and the remaining rioters escalated their attacks against police. Officers responded with countermeasures to disperse the crowd and the rioters have grown increasingly violent.

Trump and Obama's Legacy of Racism
Day one. Every Trump cabinet official will learn how the Obama administration has made racial resentment the major focus of everything they do.
And they have been doing that daily for eight years.
Job one: The Trump brigade will have to decide whether to ignore it, pretend it is good, or rip it out by the roots.
Not one future cabinet member, or their boss at Trump Tower, has indicated they are aware of how widespread this is. How much damage it has done. Or their attitude towards it.
Let’s look at a few examples, starting with the easiest, the Department of Justice. For eight years, the two attorneys general have crusaded to let the world know there are too many black people in prison for no reason what so ever -- other than white racism.
Too many arrested. Too many prosecuted. Too many convicted. Too many sent away for too long. And once let out, too many return too soon.

CNN’s Top Executive Makes Veiled Threat
Fake news outlet CNN’s top executive, Jeff Zucker, is threatening the incoming president of the United States Donald J. Trump.
“It’s just unfortunate that the most powerful person in the world is trying to delegitimize journalism and an organization that plays such a vital role in our democracy,” Zucker, CNN’s president, said in an interview with New York Magazine’s Gabriel Sherman, when asked about how Trump denounced CNN as “fake news” at his press conference last week in New York City. “I think he’s entitled to his opinion, but it’s — to use one of his favorite words — sad.”
Later in the interview, when asked by Sherman about how Trump shut down CNN’s Jim Acosta telling him his network was “fake news” and instead took questions from real news outlets like Breitbart News Network and Fox News, Zucker specifically threatened Trump in a veiled way that CNN will work to hurt the incoming president’s reputation on the world stage.
“Acosta didn’t get to ask a question at last week’s press conference. The first question went to Fox News, and Breitbart got to ask a question. Are you concerned about getting access to Trump?” Sherman asked Zucker.
In his response, Zucker specifically noted that Trump’s “adversarial relationship” with a network seen in foreign capitals is “a mistake.”
