Latest Hillary Email Scandal Reveals State Department "Favors" To Clinton Foundation

In the latest installment over Hillary Clinton's email scandal, conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch released 296 pages of new emails from Hillary's personal server, most of which were not handed over as part of the 30,000 emails originally provided to the FBI. The emails were provided to Judicial Watch pursuant to a FOIA request. These new emails, among other things, demonstrate how the Clinton Foundation and it's top donors sought favors from the State Departmentwithin 3 months of Hillary taking the Secretary of State position.

According to an article in the Wall Street Journal:

“That the Clinton Foundation was calling in favors barely 3 months into Hillary Clinton’s tenure at the State Department is deeply troubling, and it is yet another reminder of the conflicts of interest and unethical wheeling and dealing she’d bring to the White House,” said Michael Short, a spokesman for the Republican National Committee, in a statement Tuesday.

The first request for a "favor" came in April 2009, just 3 months after Hillary was confirmed as Secretary of State on January 21, 2009. The request came from Doug Band, a long-time adviser to Bill Clinton who helped him setup the Clinton Foundation after his Presidency. Per the email exchange, Mr. Band reached out the State Department to ask a "favor" on behalf of a person who the Clinton Foundation had recently setup with a trip to Haiti which he found "eye-opening" (the name of the person seeking the favor was redacted from the email exchange). Yes, well trading taxpayer dollars intended for earthquake relief in exchange for lucrative gold mining contracts from the Haitian government can be quite "eye-opening" indeed (see our post "Clinton Cash: "Devastating" Documentary Reveals How Clintons Went From "Dead Broke" To Mega Wealthy").

Police Make Attempted Murder Arrest in Shooting Caught On Video

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A 24-year-old Baltimore man was arrested for attempted murder after he was caught on video trying to rob another man at gunpoint downtown and then opening fire as the victim ran away, authorities said.

City surveillance video shows the suspect pull what appears to be a gun on the victim outside a parking garage in the unit block of Custom House Avenue overnight. The suspect can then be seen chasing after the fleeing victim and firing a shot at close range, but missing the victim, according to police.

The victim can be seen falling to the ground as the suspect takes off running in the opposite direction. Miraculously, the victim rises unhurt.

About 12:50 a.m., a city watch operator reported there was an armed man wearing black clothing with a red bandana in his pocket near the corner of Custom House and Water Street, according to police. The suspect was taken into custody at the intersection of Baltimore and Gay streets.

Reuters Trumps, Dumps CNN Claim of Secret Service Warning To Donald Trump

The Reuters news service has poured cold water on CNN’s overheated claim that the Secret Service warned Donald Trump’s campaign that his gun rights rhetoric seemed to threaten the safety of Hillary Clinton.

Reuters reported that “a federal official on Wednesday said the U.S. Secret Service had not formally spoken with Republican Donald Trump’s presidential campaign regarding his suggestion a day earlier that gun rights activists could stop Democratic rival Hillary Clinton from curtailing their access to firearms.”

Trump gleefully broadcast Reuters’ refutation of the CNN article.

Hit-and-Run After Phony Shooting Story

OCEAN CITY — A Pennsylvania man was arrested on drunk-driving and other charges last weekend after allegedly crashing into parked cars and telling police a wild story about being shot at by individuals in another vehicle.

Around 9:20 p.m. last Saturday, an Ocean City police bicycle officer was on patrol in the area of 21st Street when he heard a loud crashing noise from about a block away. Multiple witnesses in the area told police a blue Toyota FJ Cruiser had crashed into numerous vehicles parked along Baltimore Avenue and attempted to leave the scene.

An officer observed the driver, later identified as Leonard Tarreto III, 40, of Dallas, Pa., operating the vehicle in the area of 20thStreet. The officer observed the front passenger-side wheel was bent inward, causing Tarreto to have trouble leaving the scene because the wheel was skidding across the pavement. The officer also observed extensive damage to the front passenger side of the vehicle.

The investigation revealed damage to eight vehicles parked along Baltimore Avenue from 21st Street to 20th Street, ranging from minor the severe disabling damage.

What Others Are Saying Reflections On Area’s ‘Addiction Crisis’

I suppose the most worthwhile way to begin this letter would be to say that, from the bottom of my heart, I am truly, deeply sorry. My family moved to West Ocean City during the summer of 2000 when I was just 7 years old. My older sister, my younger brother, and I all graduated from SDHS and have worked several-year tenures for some of Ocean City’s most prosperous businesses. I remember thinking that “Senior Week” was a time when elderly patrons flocked to the beach to celebrate retirement. I remember the silhouette of a stag that would challenge the sunset to the triumphant melody of Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture every evening at Fager’s Island while I enjoyed root beer from a glass bottle. I remember the outrageous fun we would have every year at Ocean City Elementary on Field Day, the ACES days, the 100th day of school. I remember Shantytown. Now, at 23, those precious memories are some of the first things from which I draw solace when I find out that another one of my friends has died from a heroin overdose.

There have been about a half dozen casualties my age to heroin abuse this year alone. More than ever, I have seen my community bound tightly together by heartache, determined to defeat the monster that is wreaking havoc on our people. But this is exactly why I begin my letter with an apology; as a member of this community, I know that the first step I must take in contributing to the solution is taking personal responsibility for the part I’ve played in creating the problem.

The “monster” of which I speak is not heroin, it is not drug dealers, it is not the pharmaceutical companies; it is alcohol.

Hillary Clinton 'short-circuited' on email scandal

The candidate has invented a new excuse for lying

When former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was asked last week if she has misled the American people on the issue of her failure to safeguard state secrets contained in her emails, she told my Fox News colleague, Chris Wallace, that the FBI had exonerated her. When pressed by Mr. Wallace, she argued that FBI Director James Comey said that her answers to the American people were truthful.

After Mrs. Clinton recognized that even her strongest supporters doubted her statement, she attempted to walk it back. In doing so, she repeatedly lied again, but offered as an excuse a bizarre claim that she had “short-circuited” her answer.

Who knows what that means? She claimed that she and Mr. Wallace were talking over each other and her answer had been misunderstood and misconstrued. Yet, Mrs. Clinton said that Mr. Comey exonerated her as being “truthful” to the public when, in fact, he stated that she had been truthful during her three-hour, closed-door, unrecorded interview with the FBI.

Mrs. Clinton told a group of largely pro-Clinton journalists that she had short-circuited her remarks. Then, she acknowledged that Mr. Comey had only referred to whatever she told the FBI as being truthful. Then, she lied again, by insisting that she told the FBI the same things she has told the press and the public since this scandal erupted in March 2015.

Sheriff: 2-week-old killed by 6-year-old brother; mother charged

It's a horrifying crime that has so many people outraged. A 13-day-old baby girl is dead. Sheriff Bob Gualtieri says she was brutally pummeled and killed by her 6-year-old brother and now the 62-year-old mother is facing charges.

Kathleen Marie Steele of North Redington Beach has been charged with aggravated manslaughter and neglect for the infant's death.

On Monday, Steele left the baby, also named Kathleen, in a vehicle with her two siblings while she went into a cell phone repair store. While she was inside the store the infant started crying and that's when the 6-year-old boy snapped, Gualtieri said.

The 6-year-old brother picked up the baby and dropped her on the floor of the vehicle, then "slammed" her around the vehicle, the sheriff said.

The boy later admitted to investigators what he had done, said Gualtieri.

US Tax Receipts Have Never Done This Without A Recession

US Federal Tax Receipts are rising at just 1.2% year-over-year (12-mo rolling), slowing drastically from its 13.4% YoY growth in June 2013. While "it's probably nothing," we thought readers may be interested to note that the last six times tax receipt growth was at this weak a level, the American economy was in recession...

So ignore US Tax receipts (hard data), ignore US productivity (hard data), ignore the bond market (hard data), and ignore GDP expectations... but pay attention to the non-farm payrolls headline data - because that's what you're told to do!!

U Of Oregon May Meet BLM Demand To Rename Buildings

The University of Oregon (UO) appears ready to acquiesce to Black Lives Matter by renaming two buildings on campus named for men who held racist views.

In November, 2015, the UO Black Student Task Force presented a list of 12 demands to administrators at the school. The demands included requiring all students to take an ethnic studies class, creating special black-only scholarships, and hiring more black professors in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) disciplines.

But the top demand on the list, and one UO has actually moved substantively to meet, was to rename certain buildings on UO’s flagship Eugene campus. In January, UO administrators created a committee to review the fate of Deady Hall, named for Matthew Deady, and Dunn Hall, named for Frederick Dunn. Deady was a judge and politician who helped create Oregon’s state Constitution, which barred all black people from the state. Dunn was a prominent professor in the early 20th century, who also was an officer with the Ku Klux Klan during its 1920s heyday.

Staggering Corruption Reveals NATO/NASA 'Lies' At The Heart Of The Pentagon

Sailors And Marines Can Officially Declare They Are Transgenders This Fall … Before declaring transgender status, these service-members have to be at the start, in the middle of, or finished transitioning. Only then will they be able to ask for a formal gender switch in the database system, Navy Times reports. –Daily Caller

It is helpful for transgender people that the Pentagon now has a policy for them if they are in the service. In fact, it is surely a lingering and personal tragedy for those who feel they are the wrong sex.

But the bigger issue regarding the Pentagon is its immense and murderous corruption. In some sense, news like this is being promoted to distract us from the Pentagon’s ongoing problems.

The Pentagon still cannot officially account for some $8 trillion-plus in spending, according to a Department of Defense inspector general’s report released here at the end of July 2016.

We are providing this report for review and comment. Army and Defense Finance and Accounting Service Indianapolis personnel did not adequately support $2.8 trillion in third quarter adjustments and $6.5 trillion in year-end adjustments made to Army General Fund data during FY 2015 financial statement compilation. We conducted this audit in accordance with generally accepted government auditing standards.

The Pentagon’s systems remain unable to support federally mandated book-keeping, see here. Obviously, systems have not improved much since Donald Rumsfeld announced here that the Pentagon had mislaid some $2 trillion the day before 9/11. We shouldn’t lose track of difficulties even when contemplating the Pentagon’s increased sensitivity to its soldiers.

Inspection Finds Berlin’s Portable Signs Not ADA Violation

BERLIN – The bevy of sandwich signs downtown are not hindering accessibility on Berlin’s sidewalks, according to town officials.

Mayor Gee Williams said this week that an inspection by representatives of the Federal Highway Administration revealed that the town was Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant. The inquiry by transportation officials came after a complaint filed last year citing the signs, benches and planters on the sidewalks as hindrances to accessibility. Williams said the complaint was filed by Chuck Ward, the town’s former planning director who resigned in 2013.

“The complaint was filed by a disgruntled former employee …” Williams said. “One of the problems we were having was he was vocally against all of those things.”

Ward, when contacted this week, declined to comment about the complaint.

Air Force struggling with fighter pilot shortage amid ongoing air wars

The U.S. Air Force is struggling to fill a shortage of 700 fighter pilots by the end of the year, even as the U.S. battles in three air wars against ISIS in Iraq, Syria and Libya.

“It is a crisis,” said the U.S. Air Force’s new top officer, Gen. David Goldfein, aside Air Force Secretary Deborah Lee James at the annual “State of the Air Force” briefing at the Pentagon Wednesday.

“Air superiority is not an American birthright," Goldfein said. "It’s actually something you have to fight for and maintain.”

Airmen told Fox News, in addition to the pilot shortage, they are 4,000 mechanics short as well.

Shorthanded crews are now forced to scrounge for spare parts in museums and the “boneyard,” a graveyard of planes in the Arizona desert to fix their planes because the parts are not made anymore.

Air Force Secretary Deborah Lee James said Wednesday that she is planning to pay drone pilots a $35,000 a year retention bonus to encourage them to stay in the service.

The $35,000 a year retention bonus would be an increase over $25,000 bonus the service has been allowed to provide, and all drone pilots would be eligible once their service contract is up.

James added that Air Force needs the authority to increase bonuses for all pilots in order to address the shortage.

The Air Force has grappled with pilot retention for some time, particularly as airlines look to hire them, promising higher salaries and benefits.

Voting-rights activists, anti-fraud crusaders clash over ID laws as election looms

Wisconsin’s strict voter laws, including voter ID, can remain in effect this November, a federal appeals court ruled Wednesday, delivering a victory to anti-fraud activists who have watched as the courts have chipped away at measures designed to tighten the rules on who can vote and when.

Across the country in Texas, meanwhile, a federal court issued a final order laying out restrictions on that state’s voter-ID law, including allowing those who swear they have a good reason for lacking identification to vote anyway, as long as they can show a utility bill or some other proof they are who they say they are.

Those are just two of the ongoing battles pitting voting-rights activists against anti-fraud crusaders, with voters waiting and watching. Other court fights are still raging in North Carolina, Kansas and North Dakota.

“Millions of people are affected by these laws,” said Wendy R. Weiser, director of the democracy project at the Brennan Center for Justice.

Courts in Texas, North Carolina, Wisconsin, North Dakota and Kansas have ruled against identity requirements, in many cases finding that the state legislatures that pursued the restrictions did so specifically to discriminate.

Mixed-Use Development Approved For Berlin

BERLIN – A mixed use project proposed for Gay Street will move forward after it received approval from the town’s historic district and planning commissions this week.

Both commissions approved Patrick Vorsteg’s plan to build a two-story mixed use building at 15 Gay St. Wednesday.

Historic district commission member Mary Moore said that the new building would benefit the neighborhood.

“I think it’s a big improvement,” she said.

Vorsteg plans to build a two-story, mixed-use building on the empty lot at 15 Gay St. The ground floor will be retail space while the second floor will house apartments.

Moore and her fellow commission members reviewed Vorsteg’s plan last week but asked him to add windows on the second floor and show them samples of the brick and metal he’d be using on the building. The commission held a special meeting Wednesday to vote on the project. Vorsteg showed them his samples and new drawings with three windows on the sides of the second floor instead of the one that had been shown originally.

Christians Forced to Hide Bibles Amid Migrant Muslim Death Threats

Bundestag member Erika Steinbach and Iranian-born pastor Mahin Mousapour called for much stronger sanctions for Muslims who abuse Christians in Germany at a press conference on Monday.

Highlighting the fact Christians suffer violence, harassment, and death threats in migrant lodgings, Ms. Mousapour criticised Germany for granting Islam “too much respect”. Declaring anti-Christian hate attacks an affront to German values, politician Erika Steinbach advocated the government deport migrants who insult or attack Christians.

At the press conference Ms. Mousapour, who converted to Christianity more than 25 years ago, reported that Christians face various forms of persecution in migrant housing.

Ms Mousapour warned that Christians living in migrant housing are told they are “impure as a dog” and deserved death for rejecting Islam.

“Toys of Christian children are being destroyed, Christian asylum seekers are told not only to wash their dishes after eating but also that they must clean the entire kitchen as it would otherwise be ‘unclean’. Many Muslim asylum seekers call all Christians unclean. Church services are held in secret, bibles and crucifixes have to be hidden,” she explained.

Ms Mousapour, pastor of the Evangelical Free Church, disclosed that even converts who no longer live in migrant housing attract Muslims’ ire, and recounted her experience of being threatened at knife-point on the street.

He says snow-melting cables were added to save money in the long term, because snow won’t have to be shoveled. He didn’t have an exact cost estimate, but he says it’s under $100,000.

Mayer adds that the decision was made by a department in the administration and that the governor was not aware of it.

China Steps Up Naval Presence Near Key Disputed Island

Pentagon declared any buildup on Scarborough Shoal a red line China should not cross

China is building up maritime security forces around a key disputed island in the South China Sea that the Pentagon has warned China not to militarize.

According to Pentagon officials, the number of Chinese maritime security vessels near Scarborough Shoal, in the Spratly Islands, has risen sharply over the past several weeks.

For the past several years, China has limited the deployment of naval vessels at Scarborough Shoal to two or three maritime security ships that are similar to coast guard ships.

Over the past several weeks, however, the number of Chinese warships there has increased to more than a dozen, said officials familiar with intelligence reports.

Furthermore, China appears to be sending a large flotilla of hundreds of fishing vessels to Scarborough Shoal in an action similar to what is currently taking place in the East China Sea.

China has sent a total of 324 fishing vessels to waters around Japan’s Senkaku Islands, along with 13 maritime security ships. That fishing fleet deployment is based on China’s claim to sovereignty over the Senkakus, which Beijing calls the Diaoyu Islands.

Japan’s government protested the Chinese fishing incursions. “The situation surrounding the Japan-China relationship is significantly deteriorating,” Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida said in a statement Tuesday. “We cannot accept that [China] is taking actions that unilaterally raise tensions.”

The recent increase in naval vessels at Scarborough Shoal coincided with other provocative Chinese military activities throughout the South China Sea that have been underway since the United Nations Permanent Court of Arbitration ruled July 12 against China’s expansive sovereignty claims there.

Campground Option Weighed For Bay Club Property

BERLIN – In spite of recent rumors regarding the Bay Club’s future as a campground, its connections say nothing is set in stone.

“They haven’t asked us for anything so far,” he said.

Cropper said Wednesday that while turning the Bay Club into a campground had been discussed by the property’s owners, no decision had been made. He said he was simply exploring potential uses for the 36-hole golf course.

How Donald Trump Can Win In A Landslide

I have worked with and for people like Donald Trump.

You see, such people have minds that move very fast through mountains of information and are satisfied if they capture about the most relevant 20% of the key points that convey 80% of the story. They then have no problem telling you how much they know about the subject, while messing up on the 80% of the points that tell only 20% of the story.

Their minds can move faster than their mouths at times; while delivering a message to an audience, they might forget about the specific angle that should be taken with that audience – not that the message is different, but that different points need be emphasized or minimized.

They will move to tangential subjects if asked – even if not as prepared on these; they do this for all of the aforementioned reasons, plus they believe they are the smartest person in the room.

Such people can be great successes at business – the most successful people focus on the 20% that give 80% of the value;handling the rest is why they hire others.

My advice to such people is always: stay on point. If Trump sticks to the following points, he will win the election and win it in a landslide. In each case, Trump’s message – when he stays on point – resonates with many Americans.

Obamacare On "Verge Of Collapse" As Premiums Set To Soar Again In 2017

If Obamacare enrollments continue their current trend and insurers continue to hike premiums at alarming rates thenRepublicans may not have to worry about "repealing and replacing Obamacare" as it might just work itself out "naturally". The 4th open enrollment period for Obamacare begins on November 1, 2016 and industry experts are warning that another year of tepid demand from "young and healthy" Americans could force more insurers out of the exchanges effectively marking the end of Obamacare as we know it. According to a story published by The Hill, 11 million people bought health insurance through the exchanges for 2016 which was drastically below the Congressional Budget Office's initial projection of 21 million.

Well we're shocked! Turns out that whole "adverse selection bias" was a real thing. So you're telling us that young, healthy people don't want to pay for insurance they know they'll never use? We guess America's youth can actually do basic math, after all. Apparently they were able to figure out they would rather take the lower tax associated with Obamacare penalties than the larger tax associated with buying a healthcare policy they'll never use. We guess Millennials are a little less enthusiastic about embracing socialism when the costs are coming out of their pockets.

With America's youth continuing to shun health insurance, insurers are all racking up massive losses on the exchanges. For many insurers the losses will simply result in massive premium hikes but others have decided to withdraw from the exchanges all together. In fact, UnitedHealthCare recently announced plans to exit most state exchanges by 2017 (see our post entitled "Largest US Health Insurer Exits California, Illinois Obamacare Markets") Per The Hill:

Airbnb Legislation Likely In Annapolis; Quantifying Lost Taxes From Airbnb A Challenge

OCEAN CITY — Resort tourism officials this week continued the debate on the potential impact of Airbnb and the likelihood many of the 300-plus listings in town are not remitting the requisite room tax.

In July, the Tourism Committee attempted to gain a better understanding of the impact of Airbnb and similar companies that provide an online platform for connecting visitors to accommodations in the resort. Airbnb and other Internet sites enable property owners to rent homes, apartments and even single rooms to visitors searching online for accommodations by bypassing the traditional rental companies.

On Monday, the Tourism Committee renewed the debate, which ended with seemingly more questions than answers. What appears to be clear, however, is the online vacation rental property is here to stay with over 300 listings in Ocean City as of Thursday, from a lavish beachfront condo at over $1,100 a night to a modest bayside block studio apartment at just $50. The average price for the 300 or so properties listed in Ocean City was $256 per night.

CNN Admits "We Couldn't Help [Hillary] Any More Than We Have"

It appears we have passed the point where hiding the collusion is even necessary...

Here is CNN's New Day host Chris Cuomo explaining how - for Hillary Clinton - "we [CNN] could not help her any more than we have... she's got just a free ride so far with the media."

As DailyWire.com writes, it's no secret that the mainstream media is a giant liberal cesspool willing to do and say anything to make sure their Democrat candidate gets elected. In this case it's Hillary Clinton. Yet in the midst of two consecutive email scandals, her record of failure, including letting four Americans die in Benghazi, and having the father of the terrorist responsible for the worst attack since 9/11 sitting behind her at a recent rally, all the media can report is, "Hey, look, Trump said something distasteful again!"

In the compilation video (below), the YouTube channel "Centipede Productions" has amassed 10 minutes worth of CNN claiming technical difficulties, shouting down guests, and flat-out cutting the microphone of people who attempt to speak the facts pertaining to Hillary Clinton's scandal-ridden past and present...

Muslims sue city for rejecting mega-mosque

Obama DOJ also threatens to take on city

When the planning commission in Sterling Heights, Michigan, voted unanimously last fall to reject a mega-mosque in a residential area, an overflow crowd of residents could be seen on video shouting and cheering with joy.

Looks of relief fell upon their smiling faces, like a huge burden had been lifted.

But the Muslims ominously warned that they were not going away quietly.

On Wednesday they made good on their promise, suing the city for alleged civil rights violations, claims that the Obama administration appears all-to-eager to support.

WND reported that the Obama Department of Justice was secretly trying to intimidate the city earlier this year and now that appears to have been the case all along. The DOJ weighed in publicly Wednesday after the suit was filed with its own threatening language.

Trump Is Right: Here’s Proof Hillary & Obama Founded ISIS

Hillary even admitted U.S. created al-Qaeda, the precursor of ISIS

Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are founding members of ISIS by bankrolling, arming and supporting jihadists in Syria and Libya to both destabilize the Middle East and expand the domestic police state.

Clinton even even admitted in 2009 that the U.S. government – staffed with many of her closest allies – was responsible for al-Qaeda, which morphed into ISIS.

“I mean, let’s remember here: The people we are fighting today we funded 20 years ago, and we did it because we were locked in this struggle with the Soviet Union,” she said.

Clinton continued:

They invaded Afghanistan, and we did not want to see them control central Asia, and we went to work, and it was President Reagan, in partnership with the Congress, led by Democrats, who said, “You know what? Sounds like a pretty good idea! Let’s deal with the ISI and the Pakistani military, and let’s go recruit these Mujahedin! That’s great! Let’s get some to come from Saudi Arabia and other places, importing their Wahhabi brand of Islam, so that we can go beat the Soviet Union!” And guess what? They retreated, they lost billions of dollars, and it led to the collapse of the Soviet Union. So there’s a very strong argument, which is: It wasn’t a bad investment to end the Soviet Union, but let’s be careful what we sow, because we will harvest.

Hillary Looks To Loot Rich Corpses, Protects Her Own Assets From Estate Tax

In a bit of news that went relatively unnoticed amongst the bevy of small tire fires set by Donald Trump and stoked by the media, Hillary Clinton announced a radical and nasty change to tax policy: she wants to raise the estate tax.

The estate tax is disgusting. It’s the government ghoulishly waiting for you to die, then IRS agents crashing into your house and rifling your safe. You’ve already paid taxes on that money, of course – the government has already taken its chunk. Now it wants a second slice of the pie, in order to deprive your mourning children of their inheritance.

So naturally, Hillary wants to jack up that government theft. Right now, estates worth over $5.45 million are exempt from estate tax, but after that, they’re taxed at 40 percent. Hillary wants that tax increased to 45 percent, and drop the exemption to $3.5 million. Trump wants to get rid of the estate tax totally.

Trump is right; Hillary’s not just wrong, she’s morally wrong. And Hillary knows it, which is why she stuffs her $1.8 million Chappaqua, New York home into residence trusts to avoid the estate tax.

Officials Partner To Seek Ban On Offshore Seismic Air Gun Testing

OCEAN CITY — While the Obama administration announced in March it was abandoning plans to open a vast swath of ocean off the mid-Atlantic coast for offshore drilling for oil and natural gas reserves, the threat of seismic air gun blasting remains a very real threat, prompting lawmakers from Maryland and Delaware to fire off a letter this week urging the federal government to ban the controversial practice.

In mid-March, a collective sigh of relief was heard from coastal communities along the east coast when the federal government reversed course on a controversial plan to lease a vast area totaling three million acres off the mid-Atlantic coast for offshore drilling for oil and natural gas reserves. The reversal came after strong opposition to the proposal from local, state and federal elected officials, environmental advocacy groups and hundreds of coastal communities along the east coast whose economies rely on clean oceans, healthy natural resources, tourism and commercial and recreational fishing.

However, left on the table was a federal Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) proposal to allow private sector companies to utilize potentially harmful seismic air gun testing to determine what oil and gas reserves lay beneath the ocean floor off the mid-Atlantic coast in some areas as close as 20 miles from Ocean City and neighboring Delaware resort communities. While the proposed plan to open the offshore areas to drilling was abandoned, the threat of seismic testing for those same reserves remains a real threat.

Iran 'Ransom': Feds Claim $1.7 Billion Paid in Full - But Won't Explain How

TEL AVIV — Questions continue to linger about the Obama administration’s decision to deliver $400 million in pallets of foreign currency flown to Iran aboard an unmarked jetliner the same day five American hostages were released from Iranian custody.

The State and Treasury Departments both told Breitbart News that the U.S. government transferred the remaining $1.3 billion, which was part of the same settlement for which the $400 million was an initial payment in January. However, despite numerous requests, neither State nor Treasury would provide an answer on how the Obama administration allegedly transferred to Iran the remaining $1.3 billion.

It is not clear whether the $1.3 billion was similarly delivered to Iran in the same spy novel-like fashion as the $400 million – in cash pallets of foreign currency. If the money was not transferred in cash, that could raise questions about President Obama’s explanation that cash was necessary because there was no banking relationship.

County Planners Advance Two Solar Farm Projects

SNOW HILL – Two major solar projects will move on to the Worcester County Commissioners for consideration following a favorable recommendation from the county’s planning commission.

Longview Solar’s plan for a 20-megawatt solar facility on Libertytown Road and a 15-megawatt facility on Public Landing Road both received favorable recommendations from the Worcester County Planning Commission last week.

“Both of these are utility scale projects,” said consultant Dane Bauer. “Longview Solar is in the business of finding property finding substations, doing the upgrades, getting the designs done, getting people like us to do the approvals and then they find the appropriate end user that’s usually somebody like Constellation or Marine Energy or a big utility company.”

In Worcester County Longview has proposed leasing less-than-ideal farmland to build the solar fields. The company’s Byron Crawford has said the projects would allow local families to supplement their farming incomes and that the construction of the facilities would bring as many as 60 temporary jobs to the area. He says the solar arrays would also generate increased real property taxes for Worcester County.

Media Caught Lying About The Crowd Size Of Donald Trump Rally

PROOF: MEDIA CAUGHT RED HANDED LYING ABOUT CROWD SIZE OF TRUMP'S RALLY?

FLORIDA - Outraged voters have called out Fox 35 reporter Mike Synan for biased reporting. Internet users claim the journalist is blatantly shilling for Hillary Clinton. Synan posted a photo to facebook saying:
"Enthusiastic crowd, but by far the smallest rally for him I've seen yet. Not even 1/2 full at Kissimmee's Silver Spurs Arena"
The image appears to have been taken before the event started to make the room look empty. Photos from other sources show Donald Trump speaking before a packed house at the Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee, FL. Take a look at the two photos below. What do you think?

Hillary Clinton-Linked Company: Our Alleged Payments To ISIS Are Under 'Review'

Hillary Clinton sat on the board of a Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) partner that is under investigation amid accusations that it supplied funds to the Islamic State during negotiations with the terrorist group.

A French company accused of sending payments to ISIS confirms to Breitbart News that Clinton served as a board member of the company, and that the company partnered with the Clinton Global Initiative as recently as 2014. Financial records show that the company donated between $50,001 and $100,000 to the Clinton Foundation, according to the Donald Trump campaign.

The company LaFargeHolcim, known as LaFarge, is a cement company that is in hot water following reports that it did business with ISIS.

Who Got Us Into These Endless Wars?

“Isolationists must not prevail in this new debate over foreign policy,” warns Richard Haass, president of the Council on Foreign Relations. “The consequences of a lasting American retreat from the world would be dire.”

To make his case against the “Isolationist Temptation,” Haass creates a caricature, a cartoon, of America First patriots, then thunders that we cannot become “a giant gated community.”

Understandably, Haass is upset. For the CFR has lost the country.

Why? It colluded in the blunders that have bled and near bankrupted America and that cost this country its unrivaled global preeminence at the end of the Cold War.

No, it was not “isolationists” who failed America. None came near to power. The guilty parties are the CFR crowd and their neocon collaborators, and liberal interventionists who set off to play empire after the Cold War and create a New World Order with themselves as Masters of the Universe.

Consider just a few of the decisions taken in those years that most Americans wish we could take back.

After the Soviet Union withdrew the Red Army from Europe and split into 15 nations, and Russia held out its hand to us, we slapped it away and rolled NATO right up onto her front porch.

Enraged Russians turned to a man who would restore respect for their country. Did we think they would just sit there and take it?

How did bringing Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia into NATO make America stronger, safer and more secure? For it has surely moved us closer to a military clash with a nuclear power.

Shahram Amiri Nuclear Scientist Executed "He Was A Spy"

Working as a nuclear scientist in Iran may just be the most stressful job in the world. One persistent risk is that some variation of the Stuxnet virus will cripple your infrastructure and lead to an uncontrolled nuclear explosion, courtesy of Israeli or US intelligence. A second risk is being blown up (allegedly by the CIA) while driving your car. A third is simply being executed by your employer.

That’s what happened to Iranian scientist Shahram Amiri, who was executed over the weekend after a court convicted him of spying for Washington, a spokesman for the judiciary said on Sunday cited by Reuters. “Through his connection with the United States, Amiri gave vital information about the country to the enemy,” Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei said quoted by IRNA.

Amiri, a university researcher working for Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization, disappeared during a pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia in 2009. He soon resurfaced in the US with a video where he accused the CIA of kidnapping and interrogating him. The US authorities at that time maintained he had defected of his own free will and provided them with “useful information”. He then returned to Iran in 2010 and received a hero’s welcome… before being arrested and was given a long prion sentence. A U.S. official said in 2010 that Washington had received “useful information” from Amiri.

A timeline of his disappearance and reappearance:

Worcester Eyes Panel To Tighten Poultry Farm Regs

SNOW HILL – “Everybody’s happy and pro-farm until it’s in their backyard.”

That, Worcester County resident Harold Scrimgeour says, is why he’s proposed a text amendment that would tighten regulations on poultry operations. Whether his suggestions are adopted or not, Scrimgeour wants to see something on the books as CAFOs — Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations — are becoming more common. According to Scrimgeour the county’s existing regulations aren’t even as tight as the ones poultry companies impose on chicken farms.

“We need better buffers than what the county currently has,” he said. “We are way less strict than the industry.”

Scrimgeour worked with officials from the Worcester County Department of Development Review and Permitting to develop a text amendment to increase requirements for poultry farms being established in the county. Not a chicken farmer himself, Scrimgeour said much of what’s in his text amendment came from similar legislation in neighboring jurisdictions.

“A lot of my guidelines piggybacked with what they came up with,” he said.

Trump: Voters Not Fooled by 'Biased' Media, 'Rigged Situation'

Wednesday on Fox News Channel’s “On the Record,” host Greta Van Susteren asked Republican presidential nominee that having never ran for office before, what has surprised him the most about the process.

Trump responded with how “smart” the American people have been to not buy into false narratives generated by the “biased” media. He called it a rigged situation and also mentioned North Carolina’s voter ID law, which was recently struck down by Fourth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

Trump Gets New Supporter and She Can BURN Hillary's Campaign to the Ground

Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton has spent the past year campaigning as a candidate who believes inprotecting women and families.

She has accused Donald Trump of sexism, and even once stated that anytime a woman accuses a man of rape or sexual assault, the woman should be believed (unless the accused is her husband, apparently). Trump has fought back, bringing up Clinton’s very questionable past as evidence that she doesn’t care about women.

Now, the U.K. Daily Mail reported that Trump has a new supporter who could cause some serious damage to Clinton’s image.

Obama's Administration Collected $20 Trillion In Taxes And Still Increased National Debt $9 Trillion

During the 90 months that President Obama has been in office, the federal government collected a total of $19,966,110,000,000 in tax revenues (in non-inflation-adjusted dollars) and still managed to drag the country into almost 9 trillion dollars of new debt, according to the Monthly Treasury Statements.

There is no better example of how big government ruins prosperity than the numbers above.

Siphoning such enormous sums of wealth out of the economy only leads to the government mishandling and misallocation of what would otherwise be well spent or well-saved wealth for individual American’s who are on averagestruggling to get by financially.

From CNS:

During those same 90 months, the federal debt rose from $10,632,005,246,736.97 to $19,427,694,579,786.64—an increase of $8,795,689,333,049.67.

In July, according to the Monthly Treasury Statement released today, the federal government took in $209,998,000,000 in taxes and spent $322,813,000,000—running a one-month deficit of $112,815,000,000.

So far in fiscal 2016, according the Treasury statement, the federal government has collected approximately $2,678,824,000,000 in taxes and spent approximately $3,192,487,000,000—running a deficit of $513,662,000,000 for the first ten months of the fiscal year.

If the Bureau of Labor Statistics is correct when they reported there were 151,517,000 people employed in the United States in July, the amount of taxes the Treasury has collected during Obama’s first 90 full months in office would amount to $131,775 per worker.

LITTLE LEAGUE/PONY LEAGUE BANQUETS

Back in the 50’s, they had an annual dinner for the local baseball leagues that was far superior to the functions they have today. This was when baseball was played “for the love of the game”. In those days, when you asked for an autograph, it was a gesture of honor to the player you were asking. How things have changed. And you could read every name signed on your program. There was no charge to get anyone to sign. I imagine they came just for the free chicken dinner. The following are some of the attendees at those long ago dinners.

‘Winter Is Coming’ Warns The Solar Physicist The Alarmists Tried To Silence

Make the most of this summer because it could be your last decent one: winter is coming as the planet enters the most devastating cooling period since the 65-year Maunder Minimum of the 17th and early 18th centuries.

This is the dire forecast of Professor Valentina Zharkova, a solar physicist at Northumbria University, who has based her prediction on sun spot activity – known to be a significant driver of global climate – which is currently very low and likely to get even lower during the next three solar cycles.

She has spoken about her research and her battle to get it taken seriously by the climate establishment in an interview with the Global Warming Policy Forum. You can see it in this short film.

This is what's ahead, according to Professor Zharkova:

Maryland gives immigrants more time before canceling commercial driver’s licenses

The Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration has extended the deadline for more than 260 commercial driver’s license holders — most of them immigrants — to prove U.S. citizenship or permanent residency before their driving privileges are canceled.

The agency realized in late July that it had erroneously granted the commercial licenses to a special category of immigrants who have permission from the Department of Homeland Security to work but do not have permanent legal status. The license holders received letters saying they had until Monday to comply with federal law.

But the truckers protested immediately, asking advocacy organizations and local elected officials for help in working out an alternative with the agency that would preserve their businesses and livelihoods.

Joint FBI-US Attorney Probe Of Clinton Foundation Is Underway

Multiple FBI investigations are underway involving potential corruption charges against the Clinton Foundation, according to a former senior law enforcement official.

The investigation centers on New York City where the Clinton Foundation has its main offices, according to the former official who has direct knowledge of the activities.

Prosecutorial support will come from various U.S. Attorneys Offices — a major departure from other centralized FBI investigations.

The New York-based probe is being led by Preet Bharara, the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York. Bharara’s prosecutorial aggressiveness has resulted in a large number of convictions of banks, hedge funds and Wall Street insiders.

Massive Voter Fraud In Muslim Areas, No Challenge Because Of ‘Political Correctness’

Massive levels of electoral fraud have gone unchallenged as a result of “political correctness”, according to an official new report from the UK government.

The Telegraph reports that a new report commissioned by former Communities Secretary Sir Eric Pickles reveals that UK authorities are in a “state of denial” and are “turning a blind eye” to election fraud in heavily populated Muslim areas.

According to the report, voter fraud is occurring “especially in communities of Pakistani and Bangladeshi background”, but concerns have been largely ignored due to “over-sensitivities about ethnicity and religion”.

The new information confirms reports repeatedly raised by Breitbart London. In 2014, Breitbart London reported on threats and chaos at Tower Hamlets polling stations.

First Lady of the U.S. Michelle Obama visited a school in Tower Hamlets in the summer of 2015 where she declared: “When I look out at all these young women, I see myself. In so many ways your story is my story”. She added, in her speech to the Mulberry School for Girls – most of whom where hijab-clad, that the area was full of “families [who] are tight knit… with strong values”.

Report puts O'Malley on defense over policing

Former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley, working to rehabilitate his political image after an unsuccessful presidential run, now faces renewed scrutiny with the Justice Department's blistering assessment of his policing strategy as mayor of Baltimore.

O'Malley, a Democrat who served as Baltimore's mayor from the end of 1999 to early 2007, has long faced criticism for embracing so-called zero-tolerance policing in the city. In the report unveiled Wednesday, Justice Department investigators document those concerns in sharp relief — and find the controversial approach was never fully abandoned.

The attention on the report has put O'Malley in the position of defending a 16-year-old strategy just as he was starting to climb back into the spotlight after finishing a distant third in the Iowa Democratic caucus and dropping out of the presidential race.

FLASHBACK: Hillary Got Secret Memo Stating Obama Admin Support for ISIS

Hillary Clinton received a classified intelligence report stating that the Obama administration was actively supporting Al Qaeda in Iraq, the terrorist group that became the Islamic State.

The memo made clear that Al Qaeda in Iraq was speaking through Muhammad Al Adnani, who is now the senior spokesman for the Islamic State, also known as ISIS. Western and Gulf states were supporting the terrorist group to try to overthrow Syrian dictator Bashar al Assad, who was being propped up by the Russians, Iranians, and Chinese.

In August 2012, a “SECRET” classified memo was sent to various top Obama administration officials and agencies, including to the State Department and to Clinton’s office personally.

“The document is an IAR, an intelligence information report,” said Christopher J. Farrell, who serves on the board of directors of Judicial Watch, which obtained the document. “It is produced by somebody within the Defense intelligence agency (DIA). It is reporting from the field by an intelligence agent” who could be a U.S. government agent, a defense attaché, or a source.

“It’s a report from the field back to headquarters with some intelligence that somebody is willing to bet their career on,” Farrell said.

Farrell confirmed that the report was sent to Clinton’s office, based on the recipient marking “RUEHC/SECSTATE WASHINGTON DC.”

The report identifies Al Qaeda in Iraq (AQI) as being one of the principal elements of the Syrian opposition, which the West was choosing to “support.”

Giuliani: The Clinton Foundation Makes An 'Excellent' Racketeering Case

Rudy Giuliani said on Wednesday that Hillary Clinton’s involvement with the Clinton Foundation while she was secretary of state “would make an excellent” racketeering case.”

Appearing on Fox News’s “Your World” with guest host Maria Bartiromo, Giuliani said, “We’ve got a Justice Department that has become completely political. We’ve got a State Department that Hillary Clinton turned into sort of a funneling operation for the Clinton Foundation and I think the two of them together would make an excellent RICO case, racketeering case, like the cases I used to bring not only against the mafia, and also against Bolski… and by the way, we won them all.”

Giuliani went on to argue, “How long is it going to take?” for the FBI to announce that they are investigation the Clinton Foundation adding, “Are we going to wait until she’s president for a year?”

The former New York City mayor went on to argue that “these emails prove that the Foundation was getting its money by granting access to the State Department. That’s the way it was raising its money. And not a few bucks, hundreds of thousands, millions, in some cases even more than that.”
