Stacey Abrams: RNC Going to Send Off-Duty Officers to Scare ‘Voters of Color’
Tuesday on MSNBC’s “The Rachel Maddow Show,” former Georgia Democrat gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams accused the Republican National Committee of planning to send off-duty law enforcement officers into minority neighborhoods to “scare voters, particularly voters of color.”
Abrams said, “We know that we also face foreign influence that is being denied by the White House, by the would-be tinpot dictator of Donald Trump, but also that Moscow Mitch is stopping voter rights legislation and election security legislation. But we also know they just lifted a consent decree that’s kept Republicans and the RNC from going into local communities and intimidating voters by having off-duty officers tell people that they are monitoring their votes.”

It's high time more information about the fatal boating accident August 3 is released to the public.
How many people - what sex and what ages - were in the boat?
Age and sex of the people killed?
Whose boat was it?
What were they doing on the water?
Did they have life jackets? Was alcohol or drug use involved?
Has the operator been charged with any violation?
Does a Freedom of Information Act request have to be filed to get this basic information?! This is a public safety issue and public resources were expended. The public has a right to know.

Wicomico Council Votes 6-1 Against Rehiring Attorney
SALISBURY – Officials in Wicomico County last week voted against a recommendation to rehire Paul Wilber, who was terminated from his position as county attorney in May.
County Executive Bob Culver, however, has since announced the appointment of Wilber as acting county attorney effective immediately.
On Aug. 6, members of the Wicomico County Council had before them a recommendation to appoint Wilber as the county’s attorney nearly three months after the council voted to remove him from the same position.
In May, the council voted 6-1, with Councilman Bill McCain opposed, to fire Wilber effective July 31.

A $9.4 billion sea wall for Delaware?
As Delaware and other states come to grips with the effects of sea level rise, we can expect to see some dire predictions.
One example came out earlier this year in a study from the Center for Climate Integrity, which partnered with Resilient Analytics. The message – Delaware needs to “build the wall.”
The center, which leans well to the left and isn’t talking about that wall, blames big oil for global warning and wants the Exxons and Shells of the world to pay up.
The study claims seawalls will be needed to protect the nation’s lowest-lying state. The cost – a whopping $9.4 billion.

American Fencer Takes Knee During Pan Am Games to Protest Trump, USA
Olympic fencing medalist Race Imboden pitched a childish tantrum and took a knee during the national anthem Team USA’s medal ceremony at the Pan American Games in Peru.
Mr. Imboden was apparently triggered by the rocket’s red glare and suffered a massive outbreak of microaggressions. He later addressed his behavior on Twitter, from the confines of his designated safe space.
“We must call for change,” he declared.

'I'll ruin your s--t': Chris Cuomo uses threatening language in argument with Trump supporter
Video emerged Monday that depicts CNN anchor Chris Cuomo in a heated argument with someone who claims to be a Trump supporter, who apparently called him "Fredo" while asking for a photo.
The YouTube video claims to be "Footage sent in by a [That's The Point with Brandon] fan," and goes on to explain that "a fan of news went to ask Chris Cuomo for a photo, mind you the man who asked him DID NOT know his real name and knows of him only through The RUSH LIMBUAGH SHOW [sic] and on that show Rush repeatedly calls him 'FREDO' so the man legitimately thought his name was FREDO. At this point CHRIS CUOMO LOSES IT AND THREATENS THE MAN WITH VIOLENCE!"
"Punk-ass b--ches on the right call me Fredo," Cuomo says, and goes on to explain why he finds that name offensive.

Nashville Orioles? Baltimore needs a local buyer to step up to the plate
BALTIMORE — These summer nights are bleak at Oriole Park, as witness Saturday night’s 23-to-2 loss to Houston. But the future’s a deeper concern. Reliable sources say we might be headed toward the end of the Angelos era.
These sources say principle owner Peter Angelos’ family has held extensive discussions about selling the team they’ve controlled for the past quarter-century. The same sources say Angelos’ sons, John and Lou, lean toward a sale.
There are complications. At 90, Peter Angelos’ health is fragile, and he’s no longer active in Orioles’ matters or his law office. His sons have assumed their father’s old responsibilities.
In Peter Angelos’ absence, though, principle ownership of the club would go to his wife, Georgia, who is reported these days to be consumed with caring for her husband.

Petition seeks to rename street in front of Trump Tower after Obama
NEW YORK — An online petition to rename Fifth Avenue in front of Trump Tower in New York in honor of former President Barack Obama has gathered more than 75,000 signatures.
The petition on MoveOn.org cites among Obama's accomplishments "saving our nation from the Great Recession; serving two completely scandal-free terms in office; and taking out Osama bin Laden, the mastermind behind September 11th, which killed over 3,000 New Yorkers."
It asks for Fifth Avenue between 56th and 57th streets to be renamed for Obama.
If the street name was changed, the address of Trump Tower would be 725 President Barack H. Obama Avenue.
Elizabeth Rowin, who started the petition, told Newsweek she meant it as a joke, but she says she heard from members of the New York City Council who say they want to pursue the idea.

Sheila Jackson Lee: ’Racism’ a ‘National Security Threat’—‘Huge Sums of Money’ Needed to Win Over ‘White Minds’
Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) on Tuesday declared that “racism” is “a national security threat” and urged President Donald Trump’s administration to invest more federal funds to “get into the lives” and “minds” of young white males who are “drawn to white militia, white supremacy, white nationalism because they have nothing else to do.”
“I believe that racism… should be declared a national security threat,” Jackson Lee said during a House Homeland Security Committee hearing. “Racism is a national security threat. Before, we would say, ‘you have a right to your racist views. You have a right to believe that slavery was right. That segregation was right.’ We live in an era where that can no longer be allowed.”
Before insisting again that “racism is a national security threat,” Jackson Lee added that she is a “huge believer in civil liberties and the Bill of Rights, and particularly the first amendment of the Constitution.”

Hey Joe,
Long time reader. Just have a quick question and didn't know if you had any info on it. I know when Wor Wic put up their water tower it had gone up under strict regulations that under no circumstances could any other business or residence hook up to it. But now Royal FarmS and Arby's are hooked in there and now the Airport has a big project that is going to hook up to the tower and run water all the way to the Airport and to the business park behind the Airport.
Do you know how all these places got around the strict regulations that were put on the tower and Wor Wic?

Type of assault weapon used in Dayton, Ohio, shooting isn’t banned in Maryland. The attorney general wants to change that.
Maryland’s attorney general is urging lawmakers to update the state’s assault weapons ban to outlaw the type of gun used in the recent mass shooting in Dayton, Ohio.
“It’s a loophole in our law,” said Attorney General Brian Frosh, who as a Democratic state senator pushed for the passage of the Firearm Safety Act of 2013, which outlawed most assault weapons in Maryland.
“It’s outrageous,” Frosh said. “That kind of weapon should not be on the streets, period.”
The man who opened fire Aug. 4 in an entertainment district in Dayton, killing nine and injuring more than two dozen others, used an Anderson Manufacturing .223-caliber AM-15 gun, according to police in that city. It’s been described as an AR-15-style pistol.

Gee, I Wonder Where All These Trump Flags Came From...
Americans are overwhelmingly supporting our incredible President while our local and MSM continue to try to convince everyone Trump doesn't have the support we all know he does.
It's a ploy from the left wing media to take away any credibility this man has earned. I don't care who you are, Trump will blow away all competitors in the 2020 election because none of us are going to sit back and not make it to the polls to place our vote for this incredible man.
On a local level it become overwhelmingly obvious for a second year in a row at the White Marlin Tournament how many anglers support our President. In the upcoming weeks you will see a ton of Bikers displaying similar flags on their motorcycles as the movement continues to grow, "Bikers for Trump".
I heard next year the Liberals are planning to picket the White Marlin Tournament because of these flags. I say bring it on. By the way, I will be delivering a video in the near future of THE OTHER SIDE. A production crew was HIRED where thousands of people were interviewed at the WMO asking them what THEY thought of all the Trump Flags. Put your seat belt on Palmer Gillis and local BS Media because the public is about to hear the other side, the TRUTH.
Here's a message I'd like to express to ALL LIBERALS. Instead of bitching us out for providing all these Trump Flags and telling me the only flag that should be flying is the American Flag, PROVE IT! We went out and purchased all the Trump Flags, we do NOT charge for them. YOU go out and purchase the American Flag and give them away as well. Put your damn money where your mouth is, we did.

Baltimore Teachers Call For Donated Fans, District Resists
Baltimore's teacher union is calling for fans to be donated to schools as sweltering heat pushes classroom temperatures into the hundreds, but the district says electrical infrastructure may not be equipped to handle it.
WBAL-TV 11's Tim Tooten reports the union hopes to hand out 500 fans in response to a lack of functional air-conditioning in city schools, some of which have none at all.
"All I can focus on is feeling that sweat just coming out and I look over at the kid and they're sweating, and all we want to do is take a break and get some water and open the window," said Brittany Johnson, a Baltimore City school counselor.

Israel blocks Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib from entering country over ‘promotion of BDS’
Israel has decided to bar Reps. Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib from entering the country on Friday after fierce debates on the contentious matter involving Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and various ministers, Israel’s deputy foreign minister said Thursday.
“The decision has been made, the decision is not to allow them to enter,” Tzipi Hotovely told Israel’s Reshet Radio, Reuters reported.
The reason cited for their ban is reportedly “suspected provocations and promotion of BDS,” a reference to the anti-Israel boycott movement, according to the Times of Israel, which cited a report by local Channel 12.
Interior Minister Aryeh Deri made the decision to bar the US lawmakers from entering the country on Friday, according to the report.

Ramadan Brothers Plead Guilty, Await Sentencing This Month
WEST OCEAN CITY — Two local men, arrested last October for their roles in a vast cigarette smuggling and tax evasion conspiracy after a raid by federal officials at their West Ocean City home, pleaded guilty last week in a New York Supreme Court and now await sentencing later this month.
Last October, federal officials raided the West Ocean City home of Basel and Samir Ramadan for the second time in six years as part of a larger investigation into a vast cigarette smuggling and money-laundering investigation. During the raid, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Homeland Security Investigation (HSI) official, along with allied local law enforcement partners, searched the Ramadan’s West Ocean City home as part of Operation Sidestep, a months-long investigation into an untaxed cigarette smuggling, money-laundering and tax evasion scheme carried out by the two local men.
Last Thursday, both Basel and Samir Ramadan each pleaded guilty to a single conspiracy charge, the highest charge against each defendant. Sentencing has been set for Aug. 26 in King’s County Supreme Court in New York.

Women’s Studies Staffer: Milking Cows Is ‘Sexual Assault’
A new research paper published last week by a staff member of the women’s studies department at SUNY Brockport makes the case that the dairy industry’s production process involves the “rape” and “sexual assault” of cows.
According to a report by Campus Reform, a staff member of the women’s studies department at The College at Brockport, State University of New York argued in a recently published academic journal article that the production of milk on farms is akin to “rape” and “sexual assault.
The research article’s author, Mackenzie April, is in charge of social media for the women’s studies department at the college.
The article makes the case that the milk production process involves both “rape” and “sexual assault,” which occur, according to April, during the insemination and milking process, respectively.

'Traveling Trash Men' spending several days cleaning up Baltimore
BALTIMORE (WBFF) - On Friday, for the second day in a row, the Traveling Trashmen are back in west Baltimore.
The nine men are from New York and Florida. They're spending hours on the city's dirtiest streets picking up the trash and debris.
Friday they focused on an alleyway near North Avenue and Appleton Street.
Neighbors who live nearby say they report the trash, but nothing changes.
The trashmen says they knew where to come because Baltimore's Department of Public Works told them where the problem areas are.

Epstein Autopsy Finds Evidence He May Have Been Murdered
As the public carries on with the great debate about what really happened (or didn't happen) to Jeffrey Epstein early Saturday morning in the hours before he was found dead in his cell at MCC in an apparent suicide, the Washington Post has unleashed a bombshell.
First, remember how some witnesses claimed they had heard horrifying shrieking coming from Epstein's cell in the hours before his death? Well, here's one explanation for that: An autopsy report found that Epstein had endured multiple breaks in his neck bones, deepening the mystery surrounding his death last week.
Among the bones broken in Epstein’s neck was the hyoid bone, which in men is near the Adam’s apple. These breaks can occur in those who hang themselves, particularly if they are older, according to forensics experts and studies on the subject.

Nolte: CNN, Beto O’Rourke Target Conservative Media as Terrorist Organizations
According to far-left CNN and imploding Democrat presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke, Breitbart News, Fox News, and Sinclair News are terrorist organizations sowing “seeds of terror.”
And when you label an American, or an American company, a terrorist organization, you are deliberately painting a target on their back and calling for violence against them.
Because I don’t want to contribute to the spread of fake news or the climate of violence and intimidation that irresponsible and dangerous outlets like CNN have already ginned up against the political right, I’m not going to link O’Rourke’s incendiary smear published at CNN, but here are the pertinent quotes:
When President Donald Trump describes Mexican immigrants as “rapists” and “bringing crime,” or refers to undocumented immigrants as individuals who “infest our country” — he speaks not as America’s President but as an emissary of hate. And his vilification and fear-mongering connect with those who are open to receiving it.
The seeds of terror we saw that August day are transmitted day and night on Fox News, the most watched cable news channel in the country. They are amplified by right-wing websites like Breitbart, and in messages forced onto local news broadcasts by Sinclair Media.
The fact that it is now considered an act of terrorism for right-leaning media outlets to express opinions and ideas that are mainstream and reflected in the law, opinions about illegal immigration and border enforcement, not only tells you how far off the deep end the left has gone, but the lengths to which they will go to snuff out competing ideas, to intimidate and bully us into silence.

JUST IN: At Least 4 Philly Officers Shot, Massive Police Presence in Nicetown
At least four Philadelphia police officers were shot in the city's Nicetown section Wednesday afternoon, officials said, prompting a massive response to the North Philadelphia neighborhood. At least one suspect is in custody.
Frantic calls from responding officers came in around 4:30 p.m., according to audio obtained via Broadcastify.
"Officer calls for everything you got. SWAT, long gun," a law enforcement officer can be heard saying on the audio. "I got an officer shot."
SkyForce10 was over the scene as an unidentified gunman fired at dozens of police officers nearly 30 minutes after officers descended on the corner of 15th and Butler streets.

State Department of Ed Working on LGBT, Disability Rights Curricula
The Maryland State Department of Education will update history curricula to include lessons on the LGBT and disability rights movements after a push from state lawmakers.
Del. Eric G. Luedtke (D-Montgomery), a former history teacher, organized a letter signed by 47 lawmakers asking the department to update curricula late last month.
He posted on social media Tuesday morning that the Department of Education would be developing new standards.
The move comes as several other states have passed laws to include curriculum focused on LGBT Americans and other groups that were historically underrepresented in lesson plans.
The state of California was the first to pass a law mandating LGBT curriculum in 2011. Similar laws expanding curriculum to include LGBT and other communities took effect this year in New Jersey, Colorado and Oregon. A bill passed in Illinois is awaiting action by Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D).
Other states, including Alabama, Arizona and Utah, have moved in recent years to remove restrictions on LGBT content in school curricula.

Biological Male 'Jessica' Yaniv Can't Go Swimming Because 'She' Forgot 'Her' Tampons
Dear Readers, be warned that what you're about to read will likely be deemed hate speech by the thought police; Google may very well deem me worthy of internet jail because I'm about to contradict the left's orthodox teachings on sexuality and gender. Without further ado, here is the spiteful statement that will earn me the label of bigot:
Biological men cannot have periods and do not need tampons.
Did anyone born prior to this century ever think that statement would be necessary? I didn't. No doubt, neither did you, yet here we are. "Jessica" Yaniv, a man who pretends to be a woman, tweeted yesterday, "My period started so ya, couldn’t go into the pool. But it was so much fun! Forgot my tampons in my other bag fml."

Friends of former Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh say her health has improved and she is "trying to put together a normal life," following her resignation amid the investigation of her book-deal scandal, The Baltimore Sun reports.
Friends of Pugh told the Sun that she is trying to keep a low profile as she continues to heal and the investigations of her self-published book deals continue.
"She's under [a] doctor's care and making progress," Pugh's friend Betty Clark told the Sun. "I see her on a regular basis. She's trying to put together a normal life."
Weeks prior to her resignation amid the scandal in early May, Pugh had been hospitalized with pneumonia.
