Flooding In NC
I sent my family that live on the western shore the link to the sby site so they could see the flooding in OC. My Sister in law sent me a link with picture of flooding in NC about a mile from their beach houses. The pictures are of the house that was in the movie Nights in Rodanthe. If you notice in pictures 9 and 10 there is a rainbow. Thought you might want to post the link on the site.

GOVERNOR MARTIN O’MALLEY ISSUES ONLINE FLU UPDATE
“By now, all of us have seen the national news that the pace of vaccine production has been slower than anticipated,” said Governor O’Malley. “But our state distribution system is strong, and we are getting the vaccine out as soon as it comes in. It is our belief that by the end of this month to have over a million doses in state and by the end of the year, to have enough on hand to make it available to anyone who wants it.”
Governor O’Malley’s H1N1 (Swine) Flu update can be viewed here.
This week, the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene reported to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention six more deaths associated with H1N1 (Swine) Flu in Maryland. All of the deaths have occurred over the last four weeks and involve adults with underlying health conditions.
Maryland is one of 46 states reporting geographically widespread influenza activity as virtually every indicator reveals the spread of H1N1 (Swine) flu is on the rise across the state. Since June 1, 2009, DHMH has reported 321 hospitalizations due to H1N1 (Swine) Flu-related illness to the CDC.
Since May 2009, DHMH has reported to the CDC 664 hospitalizations due to H1N1 (Swine) Flu-related illness.
Symptoms of influenza include fever, cough, and sore throat. Additional symptoms may include chills, headache, fatigue, vomiting, diarrhea or shortness of breath.
Good personal hygiene can reduce the risk of illness frequently washing of hands, cover your mouth when coughing or sneezing, and staying home if you develop flu-like symptoms.
Complications and death from flu-related illness are more common among those with serious underlying health conditions. If you have a flu-like illness and begin to experience emergency warning signs, contact your health care provider as soon as possible. Emergency warning signs include:
In Children
· Bluish skin color (for fair tones) and grayish skin color (for darker tones)
· Not drinking enough fluids
· Not waking up or not interacting
· Being so irritable that the child does not want to be held
· Flu-like symptoms improve but then return with fever and worse cough
· Fever with a rash
In Adults
· Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
· Pain or pressure in the chest or abdomen
· Sudden dizziness or confusion
· Severe or persistent vomiting

Brooke Mulford Update
Hi Everyone,
So sorry for not updating sooner. Had every intention of getting on here Monday to update but with Brooke feeling better her energy level is getting back to normal and I'm exhausted once she falls asleep at night! Anyway, if you haven't already heard...Brooke's bone marrow biopsy came back CLEAR so she is officially considered NED (No Evidence of Disease)...WOO HOO! This doesn't change her treatment plan...she will still be starting the immunotherapy clinical trial on Wednesday. As I've said before NB is a very aggressive cancer and we have to do everything we can to reduce the risks of it coming back so please keep her in your prayers.
Today Brooke and I headed up to CHOP for a clinic visit and an Echocardiogram and then to Grammy's house for the night. Tomorrow (Friday) we go back to CHOP for an Audiology exam followed by an Opthalmology exam. Please pray for minimal hearing loss (although I'm afraid it is significant) and stable or improved vision. I will try to update on the results of Fridays exams by Saturday. Please also pray for all the other children that are fighting the beast.
God bless,
Amy

Today’s Roundup Of Stimulus Coverage:
Today’s roundup of stimulus coverage:
There’s $4.35 billion in Race to the Top education grants, but the spoils may go to only a few winners. In what The Wall Street Journal calls “one of the most significant competitions” of the stimulus package, the number of states that will get a share of the money may be less than 15. Using an elaborate scoring system just announced, the program will benefit only those states that have already taken steps to shake up their school systems, the Journal reports. “This is going to be highly competitive, and there are going to be a lot more losers than winners,” Education Secretary Arne Duncan told reporter Neil King Jr. Preliminary plans for the program provoked an outpouring of criticism.
Move Over Feds, As Locals Try Stimulus Too
But with the county jobless rate still well above the national average at 15 percent, state, county and local officials are pulling out all the stops to bring in more jobs, aggressively offering tax incentives to bring in new business or get existing businesses to expand.
And they are leveraging Elkhart’s national reputation for joblessness as a great reason for businesses to move here.
"When the president of the United States comes to your county twice in a short period of time, you are right up at the top,” economist Morton Marcus said recently at an Elkhart-area business luncheon. “You couldn’t have gone out and bought advertising like that ... We have seen this county really highlighted in the country, and as a result, people say, ‘Well, maybe that’s the place I want to go.’ Take advantage of that.”
Local officials are trying to do just that, stressing the area’s assets: highly skilled workers, seven million square feet of available factory space and a basically union-free environment where the average hourly rate for most factory jobs is under $20 an hour.
And they have been aggressive in the use of tax abatements or phase-ins — essentially giving job-creating businesses a reduced tax assessment on upgraded property and equipment for up to 10 years. A typical arrangement in a five-year abatement is no tax the first year, followed by 20 percent of the normal tax the second year, and so on.

The employees advised that the suspect entered the bank and approached one of the tellers. The suspect passed a note to the teller indicating that he was armed and was given an amount of U.S. Currency. The suspect did not display a weapon and there were no injuries. The suspect fled from the bank on foot and entered a silver Chrysler Sebring with unknown Delaware registration. The vehicle was occupied by a second white male in the driver’s position. The vehicle then fled north on Rt. 13.

Detectives from WBI responded to the scene to assist with the investigation and utilizing intelligence information provided by WBI detectives, the below listed individual was developed as a suspect. WBI and Salisbury detectives, with the assistance of the Delmar Police Department and the Delaware State Police were able to locate the suspect who was subsequently arrested by the Delaware State Police on unrelated charges. Traffic Advisory
Rainfall of up to 3” to 5” is possible through early Saturday, November 14, 2009.
No tidal flooding is expected, however winds will continue with gusts of up to 40 to 45 mph for the remainder of today then tapering off to 25 mph.
Some localized flooding is possible. A flood watch has been issued for the accumulation.
Downed Power Line Tips
Maintain a distance of at least ten (10) feet from downed wires and anything that they are in contact with, including puddles of water and fences. After a storm, be especially cautious around metal fences.
Do not drive over downed power lines. Even if the lines are not energized, the lines could get entangled in your vehicle causing further damage.
If a fallen wire is draped over a car, do not approach the car and make a reckless rescue attempt. Remain a safe distance away, try to keep the occupant of the vehicle calm, and wait for emergency personnel to handle the situation.
If you are in a situation where power lines are touching your car, do not get of your car unless it is on fire. It is best to wait for an emergency response professional to help you. If you must get out of the car because of fire or another immediate life-threatening situation, use extreme caution. Leap far and free of the vehicle, with no part of your body or clothing touching the vehicle and the ground at the same time. Then shuffle away from the car, keeping both feet close together to minimize the path of electric current and avoid electric shock.
Flooding Tips
Do not walk or drive into flooded areas. Even if flood waters are below the knees one needs to use extreme caution. A mere 6” of water can pose a danger to someone on foot and a vehicle may be swept up in just 24” of water.
Salisbury residents are asked to assist by calling the Salisbury Police Department in the event that flooding, downed power lines, or debris in the roadway are observed and are asked not to approach.
A Letter To The Editor
Now, I was always taught that if you wanted to make a public statement, you could so; now, all of a sudden, the tide has changed. Now you can't state your own public opinion on matters that affect the city of Salisbury.
If the chief of police is not doing his job, the citizens need to know about it. Crime is the pits; I feel like I'm living in the city of Baltimore.
I think it is time to start cleaning house in the city of Salisbury and weed out the ones who are not doing their jobs. Start replacing them with new ones who have new ideas.
Whereas those who are on the payroll now just aren't cutting it with me.

The 69% Increase In Capital-Gains Taxes
The House plan for ObamaCare that passed on Saturday contained a plethora of new and increased taxes, which the Americans for Tax Reform listed in an effort to make Americans aware of the burdensome cost of the bill. The Wall Street Journal reports today on one aspect of the new taxes that ATR missed. The Pelosi Plan, if passed by the Senate, would increase capital-gains taxes 69% from their present level, making them higher than any time since the first Clinton term:
House Democrats are funding their new entitlement with a 5.4% surtax on incomes above $500,000 for individuals and above $1 million for joint filers. The surcharge is intended to snag the greatest number of taxpayers to raise some $460.5 billion, and so the House has written it to apply to modified adjusted gross income. That means it includes both capital gains and dividends.
That surtax takes effect on January 1, 2011, or the day the Bush tax rates of 2001 and 2003 expire. Today’s capital gains tax rate of 15% would bounce back to 20% because of the Bush repeal and then to 25.4% with the surtax. That’s a 69% increase, overnight. The last time investors were hit with anything comparable was 1986, when the capital gains rate jumped to 28% from 20%, a 40% increase, as part of the Reagan tax reform that lowered income tax rates.
How did that increase work out in 1986? Not so well, as it turns out:
The 1986 experience was not a happy one. Tax revenues from capital gains surged before the increase took effect in 1987, as investors moved to cash in at the lower rate. Revenues then plummeted. Total realized capital gains didn’t again reach their 1985 level of $172 billion until 1996. By 1992, the federal government was barely getting more in revenue ($29 billion) at the 28% rate than it did in 1985 ($26.5 billion) at the 20% rate.
Rate reductions, as in 2003 when Republicans cut the rate to 15% from 20%, have typically had the opposite effect. Treasury receipts from capital gains climbed to an estimated $117.8 billion in 2006 from $49 billion in 2002.

Al Sharpton’s Racial Demagoguery
Here is Al Sharpton fuming over Rush Limbaugh calling him out on his poisonous career of racial demagoguery:
“He doesn’t have the right to lie and accuse people of crimes,” Sharpton said.
Yes, Al Sharpton, perpetrator of the Tawana Brawley racial hoax crime, is braying about false criminal allegations. The charlatan knows no shame.
Sharpton says he’s going to sue Rush Limbaugh unless he gets an apology.
He’s not going to get an apology.
And he’s not going to sue.
Sharpton has long enjoyed the silence of his coddling enablers about his race-hustling ways.
He loves soaking up the spotlight as a legitimate public policy player out on the trail with Newt Gingrich and Education Secretary Arne Duncan, yukking it up on cable TV, and hanging with politicians in both parties:

Virginia Teen Athlete In Wheel Chair After H1N1 Vaccine Shot
Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS) is the name given to anyone who exhibits a particular set of neurological symptoms including muscle weakness and muscle spasms. GBS is now increasingly occurring following H1N1 vaccine injections. It was diagnosed in thousands of patients following the 1976 swine flu vaccine scare, and it appears to be recurring here in 2009 as the swine flu vaccine makes it into more widespread distribution.
Health authorities, however, remain adamant that H1N1 vaccines are never the cause of GBS, and that such diagnoses are "pure coincidence." This blatantly unscientific P.R. tactic is designed to dismiss any and all concerns over the neurological side effects of H1N1 vaccines by simply denying they exist. To date, the CDC has received reports of five additional people being diagnosed with GBS following swine flu vaccinations, but it dismisses them all as coincidence.

Deputies Hold Boy Who Fled Flu Shot
WHEELING - It took the strength of two sheriff's deputies to keep a middle schooler still enough to receive a shot of the swine flu, or H1N1, vaccine at a recent clinic.
During a regular Wheeling-Ohio County Health Board meeting Tuesday, health department Administrator Howard Gamble told board members about the student's attempt to flee Wheeling Middle School during a vaccination clinic held there last Friday.
He noted the boy's mother could not bear to watch the scene and left the gymnasium. Out of apparent fear of receiving the injection, the student ran out of the building. The school's resource officer, Ohio County Sheriff's Deputy John Haglock, coaxed the boy back inside. Once at the shot station, however, Haglock apparently needed some help keeping the boy still, and another deputy assisted.
"He tried to run. I looked over and saw two sheriff's deputies holding a kid down," Gamble said. "Mom took off, she couldn't take it. You had one nurse with the needle, two deputies holding him, one nurse is grabbing hands - because that's what they want to do, to go after the needle. And that's the last thing you want."

HELP FOR DR. KEVORKIAN
There is a provision that would require doctors to provide end of life counseling. I suspect the advice would be along the line of, when a doctor informs you of your imminent death, you should not ask to be kept alive in the hope of a cure.
Where does a panel that will cost justify medical treatment, based on your age, become forced suicide ? Perhaps, that might be man slaughter. Another panel will consider the odds of a satisfactory outcome for your treatment. I think that demands that doctors violate the Hippocratic oath they swore to.This could be more than one crime. There certainly are some moral and ethical issues to be considered.
If you buy into this, off you go to a Hospice. There you will be kept drugged and comfortable waiting to die. You have probably agreed to the withholding of nutrition and fluids. Now the question becomes, will you die of the disease or of dehydration. It takes about a week for dehydration to kill you. How would an objective prosecutor view the Congressional plan?

AmeriCorps Inspector General Shredded White House Documents At Request Of Agency’s Spokeswoman
The e-mail message from agency spokeswoman Ranit Schmelzer seemed urgent, as she wrote: “WH documents were sent in error. Can you please destroy them? And can you confirm you receive this e-mail?” Acting IG Kenneth Bach responded 13 minutes later writing, “Confirmed, documents were shredded.”
Walpin is suing in U.S. District Court in the District of Columbia to get his job back. He said the request to Bach to destroy the documents indicates AmeriCorps’ “recognition that they’re doing something wrong and they did not want to have a paper trail of it. To me that is an admission of their wrongdoing.”
An inspector general is the designated watchdog for a public agency who is supposed to have autonomy from the agency’s officials in guarding against waste, fraud and abuse of taxpayer dollars.
When interviewed by CNSNews.com, Walpin said he thought a request from an agency spokeswoman to an inspector general to destroy documents, and the inspector general’s subsequent compliance with such a request to be “shocking.”

Sen. Akaka Says ‘I’m Not Aware’ Of Constitution Giving Congress Authority To Make Individuals Buy Health Insurance
Sen. Daniel Akaka (D-Hawaii) says he is “not aware” of the Constitution giving Congress the authority to make individuals purchase health insurance, as the health care bills in both the House and Senate require.
When CNSNews.com asked whether the Constitution gives Congress the authority to make Americans buy health insurance, Sen. Akaka said: “I’m not aware of that, let me put it that way. But what we’re trying to do is to provide for people who have needs and that’s where the accessibility comes in, and one of the goals that we’re trying to present here is to make it accessible.”
When asked if there was a specific part of the Constitution that gives Congress the authority to make people buy health insurance, Akaka said: “Not in particular with health insurance. It’s not covered in that respect. But in ways to help citizens in our country to live a good life, let me say it that way, is what we’re trying to do, and in this case, we’re trying to help them with their health.”

GOVERNOR MARTIN O’MALLEY TO PROCLAIM NOVEMBER 16 THROUGH 20 “MARYLAND HUNGER AWARENESS WEEK”
BALTIMORE, MD Governor Martin O’Malley today, in celebration of the one year anniversary of the Partnership to End Childhood Hunger, will have lunch with children who participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) in Anne Arundel County and will declare next week, November 16 through 20, “Maryland Hunger Awareness” week.
Governor Martin O’Malley and Share Our Strength formed the Partnership to End Childhood Hunger in Maryland in November 2008. The Partnership’s goal is to increase participation in highly effective but under-utilized federal food and nutrition programs. Initially, the Partnership targeted increased participation in four specific food nutrition programs. Those programs were: The Food Supplement Program / Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) - formerly Food Stamps, the Summer Food Service Program, the School Breakfast Program, and the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). In 2009, the At-Risk Afterschool Supper and WIC programs were added. Increased participation in these nutrition programs will bring additional federal funds to the State while helping to fill the hunger gap. Governor O’Malley has vowed to be the first governor to end childhood hunger in his state.
The CACFP is a nutrition education and reimbursement program that gives children access to nutritious meals in child care settings. The CACFP is a federally funded U.S. Department of Agriculture program, administered by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE), that helps children receive the nutrition they need to learn, play, and grow. The CACFP serves over 500 child care centers and over 3,700 family child care homes in Maryland!
Read Your Bible
We were in Pigeon Forge over the week end. We left to come home on Sunday. Traffic was moving slow & a car in front of us had an Obama bumper sticker on it. It read: "Pray for Obama. Psalm 109:8".
Mike's Bible was lying on the dash board & he got it & opened it up to the scripture & read it. He started laughing & laughing. Then he read it to me.. I couldn't believe what it said. I had a good laugh, too.

U.S. MANUFACTURERS COMMEND REP. KRATOVIL FOR OPPOSING HEALTH CARE LEGISLATION
WASHINGTON, D.C., The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) commends Representative Frank Kratovil (D-MD) for opposing the “Affordable Health Care for America Act” (H.R. 3962). This legislation will shift even more costs to private sector health care plans, impose expensive new mandates on business and impose a 5.4 percent surtax.
“Rep. Kratovil’s opposition to this misguided legislation was a true act of leadership and political courage,” said NAM President John Engler. “As the U.S. continues to struggle with the highest unemployment rate in 26 years, and with so many businesses struggling to survive, Rep. Kratovil did the right thing by putting his constituents and the nation first.”
“Manufacturers want health care reform, but we need sensible and responsible health care reform that expands access by encouraging competition. We also need to improve the way we deliver health care to reduce inefficiencies and excess costs without putting undue burdens on businesses and ultimately consumers,” Engler said.
The House of Representatives narrowly passed the Affordable Health Care for America Act by 220-215 on Saturday, November 7. The bill now moves to the U.S. Senate for consideration.
Kratovil Visits Wounded Vets At Walter Reed
Washington, DC – After attending Veterans Day events in Stevensville, Crownsville, and Federalsburg, MD on Veterans Day, today Rep. Frank Kratovil toured both Bethesda Naval Hospital and Walter Reed Medical Center. Kratovil, a member of the House Armed Services Committee, met with wounded service members during the visits and was briefed on the mission and operations of both facilities.
“The debt of gratitude we owe these brave men and women cannot be repaid just by waving flags at a Veterans Day parade. Their sacrifice in defense of our nation demands that we honor our obligation to provide the best available care to help them through their recovery,” said Rep. Kratovil. “I came here to say thank you, both to the patients for their selfless service to our nation, and to the dedicated staff who work tirelessly to care for their brothers and sisters in uniform.”
After arriving at Bethesda Naval Hospital Rep. Kratovil was greeted by hospital leadership and taken on a tour of the key areas of the base. Following the tour Kratovil was briefed on “Pioneering Strategies to Build Community Resilience,” by the Command Emergency Manager at the Hospital’s Emergency Preparedness Partnership. Rep. Kratovil then toured the areas of the hospital hosting the inpatient traumatic brain injury program and the impatient surgical unit. At the Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington, DC, Congressman Kratovil received briefings from the Warrior Transition Brigade (WTB), the Walter Reed office of Veteran Affairs, Transition Employment Assistance Management Service (TEAMS), a Command Overview and was taken on tours of the Military Advance Training Center (MATC) and the Mologne and Fisher Houses for family members of injured and rehabilitating service members.
As a Member of the House Armed Services Committee and a former board member of the Maryland Mental Health Association, Kratovil has been an active leader on veteran’s mental health concerns in Congress. He successfully passed amendments to the 2010 National Defense Authorization Act that require the Department of Defense to identify and quantify its current and projected need for mental health professionals, and to develop a plan for meeting that need.
GOVERNOR MARTIN O’MALLEY URGES CONGRESSIONAL DELEGATION TO INCREASE SMALL BUSINESS LENDING
ANNAPOLIS, MD – Governor Martin O’Malley released the second in a series of weekly online economic updates, where he focused on the need to strengthen Maryland’s small business community, which employs 1.2 million people in the State. During the address, Governor O’Malley acknowledged having sent a letter to members of Maryland’s Congressional delegation this week urging them to support efforts to use existing TARP funds to increase small business lending.
Governor O’Malley’s economic update for this week can be viewed here.
“TARP funds have been used successfully to help high profile banks that serve Wall Street. It’s time that our federal partners recycle those funds back into the economy by supporting small businesses that serve Main Street,” said Governor O’Malley in the online economic update. “Your state government continues to do all we can to engage our private sector, expand opportunity throughout Maryland, and strengthen the ranks of our middle class including our family owned businesses.”
The Governor also noted the recent merger announcement between Black & Decker and Stanley Works, resulting in the moving of Black & Decker’s corporate headquarters out of Maryland. The Governor spoke this week with John Lundgren, Stanley Works CEO, who assured the Governor that Black & Decker’s power tool division would remain in Maryland along with the jobs it supports.
Finally, in the wake of national unemployment topping 10 percent, the Governor reiterated the State’s pledge to expand opportunity to small businesses, illustrated by a ten point strategy the Governor presented before the Maryland Chamber of Commerce last week. Maryland unemployment rate of 7.2 percent has remained consistently below the national average.

Wargotz Adds Events Manager To Growing Campaign Team
Kirschner’s expertise spans both the political, private sectors
U. S. Senate candidate Dr. Eric Wargotz announced that Kathleen S. Kirschner, a veteran travel, meeting, and event planning professional whose political experience includes working with the Reagan family, will serve as Event Manager for the campaign.
Kirschner’s experience includes owning both a meeting planning business and a corporate travel agency, as well as serving as travel director for a national company. She is former owner and manager of Travel Hallmark, one of the largest corporate travel agencies in Los Angeles, CA. She served as Director of Travel and Facilities for Vertis in Baltimore, and is now owner of Professional Meeting Services in Edgewater, MD.
Kirschner also lent her professional expertise to Ronald Reagan’s 1980 presidential campaign and subsequent inauguration, as well as Maureen Reagan’s 1982 campaign for a California U. S. Senate seat.
“Recently I told the Maryland Federation of Republican Women convention how proud I am to have so many great GOP women on my team,” Dr. Wargotz. “Now
another has joined our ranks. Kathleen is a seasoned professional who understands the logistical challenges associated with planning and executing successful campaign events. Her energy and skills are a great addition to the team, and I welcome her enthusiastically.”
The Real Miss America
The interesting fact of this story is the shot was measured at 725 yards. She shot him as he was bent over burying the bomb. The shot went through his butt and into the bomb which detonated; he was blown to pieces. The Air Force made a motivational poster of her:
(Folks, that's a shot 25 yards longer than seven football fields!)
And the last thing that came out of his mouth ... was his ass!

Story About The Black Bra
We were chatting about our relationships and decided to amaze our men by wearing a black leather bra & bodice, stiletto heels and a mask over just our eyes. We met in a few days to exchange notes.
Here's how it all went:
My engaged friend:
The other night, my boyfriend came over and found me wearing a black leather bodice, tall stilettos, and a mask. He saw me and said, 'You are the woman of my dreams. I love you.' Then we made love all night long.
The mistress:
Me too! The other night I met my lover at his office and I was wearing the leather bodice, heels and mask over my eyes and a raincoat. When I opened the raincoat he didn't say a word, but we had wild sex all night.
Then I had to share my story:
When my husband came home I was wearing the leather bodice, black stockings, stilettos and a mask over my eyes. As soon as he came in the door and saw me he said,
"What's for dinner, Batman?"
Daddy, How Was I Born?
The father answers, 'Well, son, I guess one day you will need to find out anyway! Your Mom and I first got together in a chat room on Yahoo. Then I set up a date via e-mail with your Mom and we met at a cyber-cafe. We sneaked into a secluded room, and googled each other. There your mother agreed to a download from my hard drive. As soon as I was ready to upload, we discovered that neither one of us had used a firewall, and since it was too late to hit the delete button, nine months later a little Pop-Up appeared that said:
Christmas
*When all through our land,*
*Not a Christian was praying*
*Nor taking a stand.*
*See the PC Police had taken away,*
*The reason for Christmas - no one could say.*
*The children were told by their schools not to sing,*
*About Shepherds and Wise Men and Angels and things.*
*It might hurt people's feelings, the teachers would say*
* December 25th is just a ' Holiday '.*
*Yet the shoppers were ready with cash, checks and credit*
*Pushing folks down to the floor just to get it!*
*CDs from Madonna, an X BOX, an I-pod*
*Something was changing, something quite odd! *
*Retailers promoted Ramadan and Kwanzaa*
*In hopes to sell books by Franken & Fonda.*
*As Targets were hanging their trees upside down*
* At Lowe's the word Christmas - was no where to be found.*
*At K-Mart and Staples and Penny's and Sears*
*You won't hear the word Christmas; it won't touch your ears.*
*Inclusive, sensitive, Di-ver-si-ty*
*Are words that were used to intimidate me.*
*Now Daschle, Now Darden, Now Sharpton, Wolf Blitzen*
*On Boxer, on Rather, on Kerry, on Clinton !*
*At the top of the Senate, there arose such a clatter*
*To eliminate Jesus, in all public matter.*
*And we spoke not a word, as they took away our faith*
* Forbidden to speak of salvation and grace*
*The true Gift of Christmas was exchanged and discarded*
*The reason for the season, stopped before it started.*
*So as you celebrate 'Winter Break' under your 'Dream Tree'*
*Sipping your Starbucks, listen to me.*
*Choose your words carefully, choose what you say*
*Shout MERRY CHRISTMAS,
not Happy Holiday!*
Please, all Christians join together and
wish everyone you meet during the
holidays a
MERRY CHRISTMAS
Christ is The Reason for the Christ-mas Season!
