Michelle Villa, 21, of Wilmington, Del. was arrested Sunday evening (05/19/19) for felony assault and resisting arrest due to her involvement in a fight outside the Purple Parrot, which is located in the second block of Rehoboth Avenue.
Just before 11:00pm, officers responded to the Purple Parrot for a report of a fight in progress. Upon arrival, an officer observed Villa actively fighting at which time he attempted to place her in handcuffs. Villa struggled with the officer by pulling away in an attempt to flee. The officer was able to eventually place handcuffs on Villa and position her on the ground.
While attempting to take another person who was involved in the fight into custody, the officer noticed that Villa had freed her hand from one of the handcuffs and was again attempting to flee. The officer was able to stop Villa and further detain her until another officer arrived. While taking Villa into custody the officer received a laceration to his leg.
During the incident, Villa assaulted three other individuals, two of which received minor injuries. Villa received minor injuries as well.
Villa was arrested and charged with 1 count of felony second degree assault resulting in injury to a law enforcement officer, 1 count of felony resisting arrest and the following misdemeanors; 2 counts of third degree assault, 1 count of offensive touching, and 1 count of disorderly conduct.
Villa was committed to Sussex Correction Institution in default of $14,200.00 secured bail.

Joe di Genova: Barack Obama Knew James Comey Was Going to Blackmail the incoming President of the United States
Former US Attorney Joe di Genova joined Judge Jeanine Pirro on Saturday night on the Justice with Judge Jeanine show.
Pirro and di Genova discussed the recent developments in the spygate scandal.
Joe di Genova pointed out that the current FBI Director Christopher Wray is “an empty suit” and an “embarrassmemnt” to the agency.
Judge Jeanine then added that she knew the first time that he testified before Congress that he was an empty suit.
Di Genova then went on to pummel James Comey, “Here’s the thing. James Comey is talking because he is delusional… He believes nothing will happen to him. He is a very, very, very strange man.”
And before the segment ended Joe di Genova dropped this bomb on Barack Obama.

America's Top Cities Swamped In Debt, Chicago Leads The Way
Taxpayers in America's ten biggest cities face an average per taxpayer burden of $50,000 in debt incurred by the county, state and or "off-balance-sheet" transactions by city government entities, according to Truth in Accounting (TIA).
The taxpayer burden, TIA explains, is the amount residents would have to pay to cover all of a government's debt. "When the unfunded debt of these underlying government units is combined with the county, municipal, and state debt, city taxpayers are on the hook for much more than they think," according to TIA.
The cities are ranked from top to bottom, on net position, explained Bill Bergman, director of research for TIA. "And it's on that basis that Chicago ranks dead last," he said.
Chicago taxpayer burden equates to $119,110 in debt per taxpayer, a number that includes debt from Chicago Public Schools (CPS) and the state of Illinois. Bergmans said the most significant burdens on taxpayers is from CPS. He added, CPS has separate financial ledgers.

The Untold Heroism Behind a Marine's Secret Navy Cross from Benghazi
Minutes after Tate Jolly arrived at the diplomatic post in Benghazi, Libya, a mortar hit the compound where an ambassador and another American had been killed and dozens more were trapped.
The Marine gunnery sergeant was one of only two U.S. troops with a small task force that rushed to respond to what quickly became clear was a coordinated attack on the U.S. State Department facility.
It was a remarkable mission. The closest military backup was hours away, which later led to fierce debate about how U.S. troops should be postured to protect Americans and diplomatic posts overseas.

We Hear You: When Transgender Athletes Crush the Girls
Dear Daily Signal: The story of high school athlete Selina Soule shows why women better stop being so scared all the time (“8th Place: A High School Girl’s Life After Transgender Students Join Her Sport”). Fight back. There are way more of us than there are of them.
If all women, or even half, got together and battled this mess on the legal level, it would go down in flames. But so many women are weak, silly, and easily intimidated by mere words.
So what if they call you transphobic? Who cares? As a black woman in America, I’ve been called way worse and none of it bothers me because I am confident in who I am.
If you as a mother are too afraid to fight for your child, then you are a poor parent and don’t need to call yourself anyone’s mother. This is just ridiculous. I have never seen such cowardice.

Leaked Doc: Politics Is Top AFL-CIO Priority
America's largest union plans on spending more on politics than any other budget item.
AFL-CIO is expected to dedicate 35 percent of its spending on political causes and donations, according to a budget document leaked to Splinter News. The budget, which was unanimously approved by the union's executive council, sets aside $40 million for political purposes—a $15 million increase from the amount it spent on politics and lobbying according to its most recent federal filings. Political expenditures will eight times higher than the $5 million it plans to spend on "economic power and growth."
The leaked document sparked criticism from Republican lawmakers and labor watchdogs. Rep. Virginia Foxx (R., N.C.), the top Republican on the House Committee on Education and the Workforce, said that the emphasis on politics demonstrates the disconnect between workers and labor officials. Union households helped elect Donald Trump, particularly in Rust Belt states, but AFL-CIO's endorsements and spending continue to overwhelmingly favor Democrats. Foxx expects that behavior to continue in the lead up to the 2020 presidential election.

TRANSGENDER LIFTER’S RECORD OUSTED FROM FEMALE RAW POWERLIFTING COMPETITION
The president of 100% Raw Powerlifting Federation removed the record set by a transgender weight lifter for a national women’s championship because the lifter is a biological man.
Paul Bossi, the president of the 100% Raw Powerlifting Federation, said Wednesday in a statement posted to Twitter that Mary Gregory is a biological man but did not reveal this to the 100% Raw Powerlifting Federation League. The group boasts of their authenticity in weight lifting, saying they are “100% raw” and do not allow any wraps, supports or enhancing drugs.
“The lifter identifies as female, and so entered the contest (with no consultation with the Meet Director or (100% Raw Officials),” Bossi said in a statement. “Our rules, and the basis of separating genders for competition, are based on physiological classification rather than identification. On the basis of all information presented to the Board of Directors for this particular case, the conclusion made, is that the correct physiological classification is male.”

ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT ACCUSED OF 12 MURDERS IN TEXAS HAD BEEN ARRESTED SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE, BUT NEVER DEPORTED
A Kenyan man accused of 12 murders while living in the United States illegally also had been arrested four times for less serious crimes, according to Dallas County, Texas, records.
While immigration authorities have placed a hold on Billy Chemirmir, a Kenyan citizen, now that he has been arrested on charges of capital murder, the 46-year-old’s previous brushes with the law leave questions as to why such a move wasn’t made much sooner.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) told The Daily Caller that an immigration detainer for Chemirmir was filed with Dallas County Jail in March 2018, but that he’s not currently in the agency’s custody.
Chemirmir had already been charged with capital murder in March 2018 in the death of 81-year-old Lu Thi Harris, but was indicted on Tuesday for 11 other deaths: five in Collin County and six more in Dallas County. Court records show that Chemirmir allegedly smothered his victims with a pillow and then robbed them, The Dallas Morning News reported.

Democrats: America's Original Hate Group
The New York Times, a major DMIC (Democrat Media Industrial Complex) colluder and conspirator, recently reported that California has more organized hate groups than any other state. The Gray Lady didn't realize her own irony: isn't it quite interesting that arguably the most Democrat state in the nation boasts the most hate groups and potential terrorists?
When the Trump presidency concludes January 20, 2025, at noon EST, there will be many unintended benefits and victories that he himself likely hadn't ever thought of. One of those is that our win didn't create hate — it revealed the hate of American Democrats.
Not long ago, U.S. rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) celebrated the countdown until whites are a minority demographic in America. It's not just that Democrats hate America's freedoms and her Constitution — a document crafted to protect theminority from the tyranny of the majority. Democrats want our nation to go extinct, the Hell with all those who have built our nation, those who have sacrificed and those who have died and lost limbs. Our Founders warned us of an epoch, when a rising domestic enemy threatened the existence of the greatest and most miraculous nation in world history. Many races, ethnicities, religions, and non-religions have made contributions; normal thinking people respect the humanity of good and decent people. Our nation is the most diverse in world history.

Theft suspect steals police cruiser while handcuffed in Ellicott City
ELLICOTT CITY, Md. —A handcuffed theft suspect drove away in the police cruiser in which he was being taken into custody Sunday night, police said.
Howard County police said they were called to the Walmart on Ridge Road around 10 p.m. for a report of a theft in progress. The responding officer said he located the suspect, who had approximately $3,000 worth of stolen merchandise. The officer approached the suspect, who then ran away, police said.
After a foot pursuit, the officer took Jerome Rucker, 32, of Nottingham, into custody.
The officer handcuffed Rucker behind the back and placed him into the backseat of a patrol SUV, police said. While the officer was collecting evidence from the Walmart, Rucker manipulated his handcuffs to the front of his body, climbed into the driver's seat and drove away, police said.

This Vet Imprisoned for Digging Ponds on His Land Died. Now His Widow Continues the Fight.
The name of a Navy veteran may be cleared after he was convicted, fined, and imprisoned for digging ponds in a wooded area near his Montana home, to supply water in case of fire.
The Supreme Court has vacated a lower court ruling against Joe Robertson, who was sent to federal prison and ordered to pay $130,000 in restitution through deductions from his Social Security checks.
Any definitive legal victory for Robertson would be posthumous, since he died March 18 at age 80.
But his lawyers describe the Supreme Court’s action as a “big win” for Robertson’s widow, Carrie, who plans to carry on the fight.
President Barack Obama’s Justice Department had prosecuted Robertson for digging in “navigable waters” without a permit, in violation of the Clean Water Act.

I’ve Had 2 Abortions. Here’s Why I Support Alabama’s Pro-Life Law.
I’m an unlikely person to be supporting Alabama’s new pro-life law. I was pro-choice for many years, and as a young woman I had not one, but two abortions.
Both of my abortions would have been illegal under Alabama’s new law passed last week. The law bans abortion at all stages and allows an exception only to save the life of the mother. Other states like Missouri and Louisiana aren’t far behind Alabama—and I applaud them all.
I’ve come a long way to get to this position. As I mentioned, I was once pro-choice. In 1972, I actually joined a high school walk-out march protesting the fact that Planned Parenthood wasn’t allowed to do a presentation at our school.

Gaaahhhh! Six Flags’ Firebird roller coaster has helixes, loops — and, yes, fire
The first thing that happens after you strap into the Firebird roller coaster is that the floor underneath you drops. And then, it gets better.
You build up a little momentum coming out of the gate and then begin a 10-story climb that gives you a good look at the rest of Six Flags, in Prince George’s County, Maryland, and well beyond.
That slow ascent then gives way to a nine-story drop into a maze of loops and helixes — all of it on bright orange track.
The ride gets up to 56 mph over more than a half-mile of track, said Dave Johnson, the director of marketing. He added a lot more, but it was tough to hear him over the noise of the roller coaster and the screams of the people behind us. It moves quick, and it’s a lot of fun.

Homeland Security won't ship illegal immigrants across the nation
The Homeland Security Department has ruled out shipping illegal immigrants from the overwhelmed border to other locations such as Buffalo and Florida to be processed and released, the acting secretary said Sunday.
Kevin McAleenan said the department had been considering it, but decided it makes more sense to continue to try to process and release them at the border, rather than spread the pain to other communities who so far have been immune to the border crisis.
That was a reversal from Friday, when a border official told reporters they were in fact looking “across the entire nation” for places to ship the migrants for processing.
It also eased the worries of officials in Florida and along the northern border, who’d been contacted and told they may be in line to handle some of the tens of thousands of illegal immigrants surging into the U.S. each week.
The fact that officials were pondering the idea is a sign of how overwhelmed the border is.
Several border communities have declared states of emergency, saying they no longer can handle the people being caught then released into their communities.
Homeland Security officials say what they’re seeing at the border is unprecedented.

Illegal Alien Convicted of Raping Dog to Death Released by Sanctuary State
An illegal alien convicted of raping a dog to death was released by the sanctuary state of Oregon after being sentenced to just 60 days in prison.
As Breitbart News reported, illegal alien Fidel Lopez, 52-years-old, was convicted last month and sentenced to 60 days in prison after raping his girlfriend’s small Lhasa Apso which led to the dog’s death. The judge in the case said he would have given the illegal alien more prison time but that 60 days is the maximum sentence allowed in Oregon.
Following his sentence, Lopez was immediately released because he had already served 60 days while waiting to stand trial. Despite his illegal alien status, Multnomah County, Oregon officials released Lopez back into the community.
The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency had requested that the illegal alien be turned over to them for deportation should he be released from prison. The sanctuary state officials ignored the ICE request and released the illegal alien into the public.

Why I’m Endorsing Bill De Blasio For President
I want Bill de Blasio to win the 2020 presidential election. It may sound strange that a conservative pundit at a conservative outlet would hold such a position, but hear me out. America, New York City needs you. As he announces his candidacy today, I wholeheartedly endorse Bill de Blasio for president of United States, because if he wins then he can’t be mayor of New York City anymore. Not for nothing, that’s kind of my bottom-line issue at the moment.
New York City is a fragile ecosystem. For most of my adult life from 1993 until 2013, it was managed by competent, serious men. Rudolph Giuliani and Michael Bloomberg took this city, the greatest that has ever been known to man, the scourge of Boston and big brother of Philadelphia, to new and exciting heights. We were back, baby! Swing!
And then came de Blasio. It wasn’t supposed to happen. The socialist from Park Slope who summered in the ’80s at communist camps in Nicaragua was supposed to lose to Anthony Weiner, until the latter gave into the strange desires of his, well, wiener. And just like that, a socialist became mayor.

District attorneys from across metro Atlanta say they won't prosecute women for abortions
District attorneys across metro Atlanta have said they would not prosecute a woman for seeking out an abortion in Georgia under the new “heartbeat” law, which would criminalize abortion after six weeks – when a fetal pulse is detected.
Questions about the legality of the bill have been swift from the medical and legal community about how the law would be enforced. The law makes certain exceptions for cases of rape or incest and if the woman’s life is endangered by the pregnancy.
The Fulton County District Attorney's Office said it has no plans to prosecute women under the new law. That extends to doctors, nurses and other healthcare providers as well. He intends to follow the Roe v. Wade decision.

As most people know, and for those who would like to know, I am strongly Pro-Life, with the three exceptions - Rape, Incest and protecting the Life of the mother - the same position taken by Ronald Reagan. We have come very far in the last two years with 105 wonderful new Federal Judges (many more to come), two great new Supreme Court Justices, the Mexico City Policy, and a whole new & positive attitude about the Right to Life. The Radical Left, with late term abortion (and worse), is imploding on this issue. We must stick together and Win for Life in 2020. If we are foolish and do not stay UNITED as one, all of our hard fought gains for Life can, and will, rapidly disappear!
Gillibrand says she would eliminate detention system for immigrants
Democratic Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand of New York says she would eliminate the detention system for immigrants waiting for their claims to be processed in U.S. immigration courts, insisting that if immigrants were released into the community with a court date and a lawyer, they would show up.
Gillibrand, a 2020 Democratic presidential contender, told "Face the Nation" she would overhaul the immigration system to fund anti-terrorism and anti-drug trafficking measures at the border while developing a more "humane" system. She said she would eliminate the use of for-profit companies for holding immigrants and do away with the detention system entirely.
"As president of the United States, I wouldn't use the dentition system at all," Gillibrand said on "Face the Nation."

I'm Thinking We Should Bring In Another Band Memorial Day Weekend @ Caribbean Joe's
For two weeks in a row we have enjoyed incredible bands and it has certainly brought in an incredible crowd. The Pool Bar is the only Pool Bar in West Ocean City and we cut no corners delivering a really cool environment.
What we've learned so far is, people do NOT want to cross over the bridge into Ocean City and they're very excited they now have a really nice, clean establishment in West OC.
That being said, we'd like local Bands to start contacting me at 410-430-5349 to start booking bands on a regular basis. I'm telling you Folks, come see what we've done with the old Alamo. Not one single person has walked in without being totally amazed at the transformation.

Obama deal sent Rwandans accused of butchering Americans to Australia amid refugee swap: report
The Obama administration reportedly agreed to offload three Rwandans accused of slaughtering Americans to Australia -- a previously unknown arrangement connected to a broader migrant swap between the two countries that made headlines when President Trump balked at the deal in 2017.
A lengthy Politico report detailed how the administration agreed to transfer the three Rwandan men accused of a gruesome 1999 attack against Western tourists on a gorilla-watching visit to Uganda. They had been extradited to the U.S. and charged under terrorism laws, but in 2006 a judge ruled that the men’s confessions to the attacks that left two Americans and six other Western tourists dead were extracted through torture by Rwandan officials. The case was dropped and the men were left in limbo until the Obama-era deal.
The agreement to send them to Australia reportedly was made amid a seemingly related deal, struck during the final days of the Obama administration, for the U.S. to take as many as 1,250 migrants whom Australia was holding in offshore refugee centers -- which had come under international scrutiny for alleged mistreatment of migrants. In return, the U.S. would send over a much smaller number of refugees in Central America as part of an effort to relocate people fleeing drug violence.

Candace Owens: Big Tech Trying to ‘Subvert a Mass Awakening’
Pundit and black conservative activist Candace Owens blasted big tech bias after Breitbart News’ exclusive story that she has been placed on a list of “hate agents” maintained by Facebook.
A source at Facebook exclusively spoke to Breitbart News about the “hate agents” list, which includes a number of prominent recently-banned individuals including Paul Joseph Watson, Laura Loomer, and Alex Jones.
A Facebook spokeswoman confirmed the existence of the list, but denied that Candace Owens has been investigated. The spokeswoman also emphasized that a recent seven-day ban of Owens was a mistake and has been reversed.
“More and more Americans are waking up to, and rejecting the fantastical ideology of the Left. What we’re seeing now are social media companies that are desperate to help subvert a mass awakening” Owens said in a comment to Breitbart News.
“Facebook is attempting to manufacture a virtual reality for the Democrats by silencing voices that run counter to their Party mission, which is to get rid of President Trump and to turn America into a socialist country.”

‘We’ve Lost Control of the Border,’ Says Border Patrol Agent
A U.S. Border Patrol agent warned that our nation has “lost control of the border,” during an interview on Fox News Channel.
During an interview with Fox News Channel’s Outnumbered, U.S. Border Patrol Agent Hector Garza, in his role as vice-president of the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC), told Harris Faulkner, “We’ve lost control of the border, as we are right now.” He continued saying we must come up with a new plan to correct the problems that led to the loss of control of the border.
“As it is right now, we are having a very hard time at the border,” Garza explained in recognition of the massive numbers of Central American migrant families being apprehended by Border Patrol agents after illegally crossing the border from Mexico.
Faulkner reacted to Garza’s comment about the condition of the border. “You said, ‘We’ve lost control of the border,'” Faulkner challenged. “That is different from what reporting I’ve seen. What do you mean when you say you’ve ‘lost control?'”

Trump says war will mean 'official end of Iran,' warns 'never threaten the United States again'
President Trump fired a social media broadside at the Iranian regime Sunday afternoon, vowing that war between Washington and Tehran would result in "the official end of Iran" before warning, "[n]ever threaten the United States again!"
Trump tweeted hours after a rocket landed less than a mile from the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad's heavily fortified Green Zone, the first such attack since September. An Iraqi military spokesman told reporters the rocket appeared to have been fired from east Baghdad, which is home to several Iran-backed Shiite militias.
Tensions between the U.S. and Iran have risen in recent weeks after the Trump administration ordered warships and bombers to the Middle East earlier this month to counter threatened attacks against U.S. interests by Iran or Iranian-backed forces.

Mike Pence urges Taylor grads to 'stand up' for Christianity after dozens walk out on him
Vice President Mike Pence used a Saturday commencement address at Taylor University to urge a religious resolve among the Christian school’s graduates and faculty, dozens of whom walked out minutes before Pence began speaking.
“Throughout most of our American history it’s been pretty easy to call yourself a Christian, but things are different now,” Pence said. “Lately, it’s become acceptable, even fashionable, to malign traditional Christian beliefs. So as you prepare to leave this place and build your life on a Christ-centered, world-engaging foundation poured here at Taylor University, be prepared to stand up.”
The protest stemmed from disagreement among students, faculty and alumni about whether it was appropriate for the non-denominational Christian liberal arts school to invite the vice president, known for his conservative religious views, to speak.
Most of Taylor's graduating class, however, remained seated for the vice president, who was the first official from the U.S. executive branch to speak at a Taylor graduation.
He received a standing ovation.

Md. consumer advocates push for new debt collection laws
ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Jailing a person for an unpaid debt has been illegal for almost two centuries in the United States.
But in Maryland, a roundabout court procedure has seen hundreds of people every year jailed for essentially just that: owing money.
In debt collection cases, a creditor can file a judgment — a claim that a debt is owed — to compel a debtor to appear in court to answer questions about their assets. Many of these cases result in garnishment — the legal collection of a portion of a debtor’s wages, property or bank accounts to pay back a debt.
In 2016, more than 76,000 debt collection cases resulted in garnishment statewide, according to a comprehensive report published last June by the Maryland Consumer Rights Coalition.
About two-thirds of debtors saw their wages garnished; the rest had some sort of property garnished, the report found.
Several hundred body attachments — the term for an arrest warrant for an individual who fails to appear in court — are issued each year, and about 20% of all debt collection cases result in an arrest.
In Baltimore County, more than 10,000 residents saw their wages garnished in 2016, the most in the state. The four most populous jurisdictions in the state, Montgomery, Prince George’s and Baltimore counties, and Baltimore City — about 57% of Maryland’s 6 million residents — account for more than 70% of all garnishment cases.

Coast Guard, life jacket saves jet skier in Ocean City Inlet, Md
BALTIMORE — The Coast Guard rescued a man who fell off and became separated from his jet ski in Ocean City Inlet, Saturday.
Watchstanders at Coast Guard Station Ocean City were contacted by 911 dispatch at 5:07 p.m. and notified that a man reported, via cell phone, that he fell off of his jet ski and was unable to swim back to it.
Sector Maryland-National Capital Region deployed a 24-foot Response Boat-Small crew from Station Ocean City to respond.
Once on scene, the crew located and rescued the man approximately 100 yards from his jet ski. He was wearing his life jacket and had no reported injuries.
"We constantly urge people to wear their life jacket and have a communication device handy — this is a prime example of how they can save your life," said Petty Officer 2nd Class Michael Maffioli, boat crew member during the case. "The guy said he was in the water for 30 minutes, which is a long time to have to tread water. If his life jacket was tucked under the seat and not on his body, there probably would have been a different more tragic outcome.
