A Latina sorority has filed a lawsuit against Greek administrators at the University of Virginia in response to a bizarre new ruling that claimed sorority leaders were hazing members by requiring them to study.
According to the suit, filed in federal court by Sigma Lambda Upsilon, also known as Senoritas Latinas Unidas, U.Va. violated the First Amendment rights of its members by suspending the sorority last year after discovering that the sorority was operating with a requirement that their members log at least 25 study hours per week, an absolutely normal Greek practice at most colleges and universities.
“As a result of the suspension, SLU’s First Amendment rights have been violated because [U.Va.] is denying it the right to free speech and association on [Grounds],” the complaint reads. “As a result of the suspension, SLU has also been discriminated against because Defendant has sanctioned it for no actual misconduct whatsoever.”

Maryland firefighters suspended after incident at house fire, rivalry between departments exposed
A fight about water between two Prince George's County fire crews led to the suspension of two Maryland firefighters and may have thrust into the spotlight a longtime rivalry between career and volunteer firefighters.
The sidelined Prince George’s County firefighters -- one career and one volunteer -- are temporarily banned from responding to emergency calls while officials investigate a contentious exchange at the scene of a December house fire, The Washington Post reported Friday. Mark Brady, a Prince George’s County Fire/EMS spokesman, confirmed to the newspaper the firefighters were placed on administrative duty.

Congressman Envisions Over 30 Muslim Reps In Congress By 2030
Democratic Rep. AndrĂ© Carson says he envisions that there will be “about 30, 35 Muslims in Congress” and possibly a Muslim president or vice president by 2030.
The Indiana congressman’s remarks came Thursday evening during a “Community Congressional Reception” hosted by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). In addition to Carson, speakers included newly elected Representatives Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib.
Carson celebrated the fellow Muslims elected to Congress in November, likening their arrival to superheroes coming “out of nowhere” to help in the wake of former Congressman Keith Ellison’s move from the House to Minnesota attorney general.

Obama Border Patrol chief: Agents arrest 'rapists, murderers, gang members every single day'
The Obama appointee who oversaw U.S. Border Patrol in 2016 made a rare public comment Thursday that those illegally entering the U.S. from Mexico have previously committed heinous crimes.
Mark Morgan, stealing a line from President Trump's presidential campaign announcement in June 2015, said his agents were "apprehending and interdicting pedophiles, rapists, murderers, gang members every single day."
"I'm outraged that we haven't fixed this problem. I'm outraged," Morgan told Fox News. "Who can say that this is a manufactured crisis? Anyone? Anyone left, right? I don't care who it is — anyone that says this is a manufactured crisis, they are absolutely lying to the American people."

‘He Doesn’t Give A Damn’: Trump Holds Line On Shutdown
President Donald Trump’s insistence on obtaining full funding for his proposed wall along the southern border will officially result in the longest lapse in federal government funding in U.S. history.
The dispute centers on a high stakes fight between Trump and Democratic lawmakers over wall funding, with the president demanding 5.7 billion dollars and the opposition offering up only 1.6 billion. Trump has made several counter-offers to Democrats to try and breakthrough in negotiations, but Democrats have insisted that they will not offer up a single dollar more than 1.6 billion unless the federal government is fully reopened.

Ted Cruz Mocks Schumer, Pelosi Rebuttal Speech — ‘That Thing Looks Like A Hostage Video’
Texas Senator Ted Cruz mocked the televised speech Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi gave in response to President Donald Trump’s Tuesday speech on the need for a border barrier.
During a “Hannity” appearance with fellow Texas Senator John Cornyn, Cruz blamed the government shutdown on Schumer, then joined Fox News host Sean Hannity in poking fun at the minority leader’s speech alongside Speaker Pelosi.

Daines Introduces Bill Withholding Pay From Congressmen During Government Shutdowns, Others Join
Republican Montana Sen. Steve Daines introduced a bill on the Senate floor Thursday that would withhold the pay of members of Congress during future government shutdowns.
Daines’s introduction of the bill, sponsored by Republican Texas Sen. John Cornyn, comes hours after Daines announced he sent a letter requesting the secretary of the U.S. Senate withhold his pay during the ongoing partial shutdown of the federal government.
“Members of Congress are sent to Washington, D.C., to represent the great people of their state and keep the federal government open, working and funded. So it’s simple. If they can’t do that, they shouldn’t get paid. No work, no pay,” Daines told The Daily Caller News Foundation after the bill was introduced.
The “No Work, No Pay Act,” introduced by Daines, would make it so that members of Congress would not be paid if they cannot keep the government funded.

Marc Thiessen: This is the stupidest government shutdown in US history. When will Dems get smart about it?
Barring some miraculous breakthrough, on Saturday the current government shutdown will become the longest in American history. But it has already hit another historic milestone: It is, by far and away, the stupidest government shutdown in American history.
In 2019, the federal government will spend a whopping $4.407 trillion. Yet Congress and the president are shutting down the government in a dispute between the $1.3 billion the Democrats have approved for border security and the $5.7 billion the president is demanding -- precisely 0.0998 percent of the total federal budget. In Washington, that is considered a rounding error.
Worse, Democrats are doing it over a border wall strikingly similar to one that they almost unanimously supported just five years ago. While House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., now says that "a wall is an immorality," back in 2013, she supported a bill that required the construction of 700 miles of border fencing. (Trump has called for a wall of "anywhere from 700 to 900 miles" long.) The bill negotiated by the Gang of Eight, which included current Democratic leaders Sens. Charles Schumer, N.Y., and Dick Durbin, Ill., declared that "not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary [of Homeland Security] shall establish ... the 'Southern Border Fencing Strategy,' to identify where 700 miles of fencing (including double-layer fencing) ... should be deployed along the Southern border."

Your Move Cryin' Chuck... White House Budget Office Makes Plans for Democrat Shutdown to Last Through February!
The Trump White House is making plans for the Democrat shutdown to last until the end of February.
Cryin’ Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi refuse to budge on border security for America.
So the President is keeping his promise to voters to protect the country and build a border wall.
President Trump on Friday said he will hold off on declaring a national emergency to circumvent Congress and begin building his long-promised border wall, at least for the time being.
Trump told reporters at the White House that he has the authority to make an emergency declaration to jump-start wall construction, but said, “I’m not going to do it so fast.”…
…The White House is now making preparations for the shutdown to last weeks longer, an administration official confirmed to The Hill.
The Office of Management and Budget is gearing up for the partial shutdown to continue through February, and aides have discussed using Trump’s Jan. 29 State of the Union to admonish Democrats over their opposition to his $5.7 billion request for border wall funding.

The Black Swan So Ugly No One Will Talk About It
The biggest black swan facing the financial system is China.
China has been the primary driver of growth for the global economy since the 2008 Crisis. Despite only accounting for 15% of global GDP, China accounts for 25%-30% of GDP growth.
Put simply, from an economic perspective, if China catches cold, the world gets sick… and if China goes into a coma…
Which is why anyone paying attention should be truly horrified by the latest round of data from China’s economy.
In December, China’s Manufacturing PMI came in below 50, signaling a contraction is underway.
This is a massive deal because this was an OFFICIAL data point, meaning one that China had heavily massaged to look better than reality.
Let me explain…
Over the last 30 years China’s economic data has ALWAYS overstated growth. The reason for this is very simple: if you are an economic minister/ government employee who lives in a regime in which leadership will have you jailed or executed for missing your numbers, the numbers are ALWAYS great.
Indeed, this is an open secret in China, to the degree that former First Vice Premiere of China, Li Keqiang, admitted to the US ambassador to China that ALLChinese data, outside of electricity consumption, railroad cargo, and bank lending is for “reference only.”
With that in mind, we have to ask… how horrific is the situation in China’s financial system that even the heavily massaged data is showing a contraction is underway?
Think “systemic risk” bad.
I’ve already outlined how China is sitting atop 15% of all junk debt in the global financial system, resulting in the country’s “bad debt” to GDP ratio exceeding 80% (a first in history).
However, it now appears that even that assessment was too rosy.
Last Friday, China’s Central Bank, called the People’s Bank of China, or PBOC, released its Financial Stability Report for 2018. Nestled amidst the various accounting gimmicks was the following:

Stacey Abrams Meets With Chuck Schumer As 2020 Senate Speculation Mounts
Failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams met with top Democratic leadership in Washington, D.C., this week to discuss a potential run for the Senate in 2020.
Abrams held talks Thursday with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and Nevada Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto, the chairwoman of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. The discussion comes as Abrams, considered the unofficial leader of Georgia Democrats, mulls her next political moves.
The former state representative and romance novelist rocketed to fame during her 2018 gubernatorial bid against Republican Brian Kemp, the state’s former secretary of state. National Democrats had hoped Abrams would make history as the first black female to be elected governor of a U.S. state. However, Kemp ultimately emerged victorious in what was one of the closest elections in Georgia history.
The contest also became one of the state’s ugliest campaigns in recent memory.

Cruise Ship Returns To Port Day Early After 277 People Were Exposed To Norovirus, Forced To Stay On Boat
A cruise ship in Jamaica was forced to return home a day early after 277 passengers were exposed to Norovirus.
The Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas will return to Port Canaveral, Florida, on Saturday instead of its planned return Sunday due to the outbreak, The Associated Press reported Friday.
Norovirus is a contagious virus that causes vomiting and diarrhea, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The virus can also cause fever and body aches in those infected.
Disgruntled passengers tweeted about being required to stay onboard the ship amid the outbreak after docking in Falmouth, Jamaica, the AP reported.

Trump slams 'total sleaze' Comey, 'corrupt' FBI leaders, after report bureau launched probe after director's ouster
The White House lashed out against “disgraced partisan hack” James Comey and “known liar” Andrew McCabe on Friday after a report that the FBI -- after President Trump fired Comey as the bureau's director -- opened a secret inquiry into whether Trump had been working on behalf ofRussia against American interests.
The investigators working on the inquiry had to assess whether Trump’s actions could constitute a possible national security threat. The agency tried to determine whether the president was working for Russia or had fallen under the Kremlin’s influence, the New York Times reported.
The probe into Trump also looked into possible criminality, in particular the May 2017 firing of Comey and whether that could be deemed an obstruction of justice.

Michael Barone: A shutdown stalemate as Trump goes factual, Democrats illogical
The televised presidential address from the Oval Office, a staple of communication between the chief executive and the people in the second half of twentieth century, has recently been in desuetude. Former President Barack Obama delivered only three such addresses in his eight years in office. President Trump this week delivered his first, just days short of completing half a term.
It was a sober address, short but touching some emotive chords. It was also carefully based on actual facts and proposals — contrary to the Democrats’ meme that it would be based on fears, not facts.
Post-speech fact-checking was particularly farcical. The Washington Post said Trump’s claims of “266,000 arrests of aliens with criminal records” in two years was “accurate but misleading,” because it included all crimes. Huh?

Trump Goes On Epic Tweetstorm After NYT Reveals FBI "Witch Hunt" Escalation Following Comey Firing
President Trump on Saturday lashed out after a Friday evening report in the New York Times that US law enforcement officials "became so concerned by the president's behavior" in the days after Trump fired James Comey as FBI director, that "they began investigating whether he had been working on behalf of Russia against American interests."
According to the NYT, agents and senior F.B.I. officials "had grown suspicious of Mr. Trump’s ties to Russia during the 2016 campaign" but held off on opening an investigation into him, the people said, in part because they were uncertain how to proceed with an inquiry of such sensitivity and magnitude.
What happened next? Well, a collusion narrative was born and carefully crafted as the paper explains:
The president’s activities before and after Mr. Comey’s firing in May 2017, particularly two instances in which Mr. Trump tied the Comey dismissal to the Russia investigation, helped prompt the counterintelligence aspect of the inquiry, the people said.
The odd inquiry carried "explosive implications" as counterintelligence investigators had to consider whether the president’s own actions constituted a possible threat to national security. Agents also sought to determine whether Mr. Trump was knowingly working for Russia or had unwittingly fallen under Moscow’s influence.
The criminal and counterintelligence elements were coupled together into one investigation, former law enforcement officials said in interviews in recent weeks, because if Mr. Trump had ousted the head of the F.B.I. to impede or even end the Russia investigation, that was both a possible crime and a national security concern. The F.B.I.’s counterintelligence division handles national security matters.
Even so, "...some former law enforcement officials outside the investigation have questioned whether agents overstepped in opening it."
Then, in paragraph nine we read "No evidence has emerged publicly that Mr. Trump was secretly in contact with or took direction from Russian government officials."
Or, as The Washington Examiner's Byron York sums it up:

National Emergency Definition, Powers and Examples
In United States government, a national emergency is any extraordinary situation deemed by the President of the United States to threaten the health or safety of the citizens and which cannot be adequately addressed by the application of other laws orexecutive actions.
Exactly what situations do or do not constitute a state of emergency came into question in January 2019, when President Donald Trump stated that he might declare a national emergency in order to divert existing Department of Defense funds for the completion of a concrete wall (or steel barrier) intended to prevent illegal immigration along the entire southern U.S. border—a maneuver used by President Ronald Reaganin 1982 to boost construction of military facilities.
Key Takeaways
A national emergency is any extraordinary situation declared by the president as threatening American citizens and not resolvable by other laws.
Under the National Emergencies Act of 1976, a declaration of national emergency temporarily grants the president at least 140 special powers.
The reasons for declaring a national emergency and the provisions to be applied during that emergency are solely and entirely up to the president.

Joe Biden's brother says their relatives ALL voted Trump because of Hillary Clinton
Vice President Joe Biden's brother has revealed that the family's Pennsylvania branch voted for Donald Trump after feeling 'slighted' by Hillary Clinton's campaign.
The Scranton-born Joe Biden, 76, has been contemplating a run against Trump, 72. His younger brother Frank, 65, predicted he would run, and said he would make a decision with family members 'very soon.'
He also spoke to the Palm Beach Post about the failures of the Clinton campaign. Joe Biden helped clear the way for Clinton when he decided not to run, citing the death of his son Beau, after a battle with brain cancer.
'We never would have lost Pennsylvania, and all my relatives — the Finnegan family — who voted for Donald Trump because they felt slighted by Hillary and her campaign,' he said, citing Clinton's loss of the Keystone state.

Megyn Kelly Leaves NBC With $30 Million Payout
Four months after struggling "Today Show" Host Megyn Kelly shocked co-host Al Roker and their studio audience by suggesting on-air that wearing blackface in the context of a Halloween custom was perfectly acceptable behavior "where I grew up", the former Fox News prime-time star's departure from the "mainstream" network has finally been finalized.
According to a report by NBC News, Kelly has reached an agreement with the network on the terms of her departure whereby she will receiving another $30 million in compensation - the balance of her $69 million three-year contract.
"The parties have resolved their differences, and Megyn Kelly is no longer an employee of NBC," NBC said in a statement.
Though Kelly delivered a tearful on-air apology the following day, she never returned to the anchor's chair on the network's flagship daytime program, and her impending departure from the network was swiftly confirmed, along with speculation that, thanks to the iron-clad nature of her contract, she would likely walk away with a hefty sum.

"Cars Have Just Been Crushed": The US Auto Market Is Officially In Recession Again
Despite surprisingly strong 2018 results and 2019 estimates out of General Motors last week, it’s becoming clearer that a recession in the U.S. auto industry is already underway. All one has to do is look around: factories are closing, shifts are being truncated and thousands of layoffs have taken place.
Meanwhile, Detroit is showing increasingly more signs that it is in the midst of a recession as demand for sedans has collapsed. This collapse has been the result of most consumers moving to sport utility vehicles and pick-ups. In fact, the models that used to be the lifeblood of the car industry, sedans like the Honda Accord and Ford Fusion, only made up 30% of US sales in 2018.
Sedans are estimated to sink to 21.5% of the US market by the year 2025, according to research from LMC Automotive. That will leave car manufactures with extra factory capacity that will be capable of producing some 3 million more vehicles than buyers want. This type of overcapacity has resulted in losses and has catalyzed past recessions for the industry.

PURE EVIL: Nancy Pelosi WON'T TAKE MEETINGS with Any US Citizen Whose Family Member Was Killed by Illegal Alien (VIDEO)!
36-year-old paramedic Paul Besaw was killed alongside his paramedic colleague, 51-year-old Lahiri Garcia, when they were struck and killed by a drunk illegal immigrant in February 2017.
Palm Beach County records show the driver Genaro Delacruz Alqui was cited several times for traffic violations over the years.
Paul Besaw’s wife Dawn Witherspoon joined Elizabeth MacDonald on The Evening Edit to discuss the recent comments by Nancy Pelosi downplaying the murders and homicides by illegal aliens.
Dawn went off on the heartless Democratic leader!
This was powerful!
Dawn Witherspoon: I am disgusted by Nancy Pelosi. It is unbelievable that we have politicians in our country that do not care about our people! And she said it numerous times!
But Pelosi doesn’t really care what Dawn has to say.
Speaker Nancy Pelosi refuses to meet with any of the family members whose loved ones were killed by illegal aliens.
Pelosi doesn’t care.

The Outrageous Assault on the Knights of Columbus
Kamala Harris and the Religious Test of the 'New Liberalism'
Kamala Harris is set to announce her candidacy for president sometime around Martin Luther King Jr. Day. What sort of chief executive would she be? Well, here's your first clue: On December 5, Harris posed a series of written questions to Brian Buescher, President Trump's nominee for District Court in Nebraska. The third question reads as follows:
"Since 1993, you have been a member of the Knights of Columbus, an all-male society comprised primarily of Catholic men. In 2016, Carl Anderson, leader of the Knights of Columbus, described abortion as ‘a legal regime that has resulted in more than 40 million deaths.' Mr. Anderson went on to say that ‘abortion is the killing of the innocent on a massive scale.' Were you aware that the Knights of Columbus opposed a woman's right to choose when you joined the organization?"
Harris wasn't finished. Follow-ups included "Were you aware that the Knights of Columbus opposed marriage equality when you joined the organization?" and "Have you ever, in any way, assisted with or contributed to advocacy against women's reproductive rights?"
What Kamala Harris is suggesting is that membership in a 2 million-strong, 136-year-old Catholic social organization disqualifies an individual from the federal bench. She was joined in this line of questioning by Senator Mazie Hirono of Hawaii.

Democrat Rashida Tlaib Recites 'Muslim Victory Call - War Cry of Allah' in Radical Speech at CAIR Reception (VIDEO)!
Newly-elected foul-mouthed Muslim Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) gave a radical speech and declared the ‘war cry of Allah’ at a reception for terror-tied CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) on Thursday.
Rashida Tlaib immediately declared victory for Allah after she walked up to the lectern to deliver her speech.
After greeting the crowd in Arabic, Rashida Tlaib said, “Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim,” which means, “In the name of Allah, the merciful, the compassionate.”
This very phrase begins every chapter in the Quran except one and is seen as a Muslim war cry.

FBI Lawyer: ‘Not Typically Appropriate’ For Hillary’s Aides To Attend Her FBI Interview
Lisa Page, a former top attorney at the FBI, told Congress she believed it was neither appropriate nor necessary for two of Hillary Clinton’s aides to accompany the former secretary of state in an interview she gave as part of the email investigation.
“I would agree with you that it is not typically appropriate or operationally necessary to have fact witnesses attend the interview,” Page told lawmakers during a closed-door interview in July 2018, highlights of which were published by The Epoch Times on Friday.
Page was answering questions about the FBI’s handling of the investigation into whether Clinton mishandled classified information by using a private email server while at the State Department. Clinton was interviewed by the FBI as part of the investigation on July 2, 2016, three days before then-FBI Director James Comey announced he would be recommending that Clinton be charged in the case.

"Take This Vote And Shove It!"
I offer here an idea to drive a stake into the heart of the ruling elite while requiring no effort, no rallies, no demonstrations and no violence. It can be done sitting on our asses, in fact that’s a requirement. We hijack the non voting majority. There are many well reasoned articles for not voting. One of my favorites is by Doug Casey.
I stopped voting after Reagan grew the government by 30%. If he couldn’t stem the malignant growth of the federal government I reasoned, no one could. Like any parasite government would grow until it killed off the host. I did vote for Ron Paul in the two republican primaries but I knew it was merely symbolic. Not only was he not allowed to win, if he came close they would have killed him, like Jack Kennedy, another reason I gave up on the evil that is voting in a corrupt democracy.
It was sort of hard sticking to it early on, not getting sucked into the red/blue bullshit hype. In time I grew to love my non voting status. It gave me a perspective that wound up being refreshing and enlightening. I became a spectator in the bleachers emotionally detached from the outcome which I could not affect in any case. I became bullet proof to nitwits like W Bush. I could see through the dapper, skin rash deep facade of Obama and the horny carnival barker who followed him. I wasn’t being played. The big picture came gradually into focus. I could see through the ruling elite’s machinations and tricks to lead the voting wildebeests down their desired path. I became a proud non voter. It’s not a fashionable position I know but that can change.

State Police Death Investigation In Salisbury
(SALISBURY, MD) – Maryland State Police are actively investigating the death of a woman in Salisbury.
The identity of the deceased is Ashlie Meadow-Simms, 30, of Parsonsburg, Maryland. Investigators believe Ashlie was last seen wearing a yellow hooded sweatshirt between 10:00-11:00 p.m. on Friday, January 11, 2019 in the area of her residence in the 3,000 block of Johnson Road in Parsonsburg. Autopsy results are pending examination by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore.
Shortly after 3:00 p.m. yesterday, the Salisbury Barrack received a report of a body on the side of the road in Wicomico County. The 9-1-1 call came from a motorist in the area.
Troopers responded to the scene and located the body of an unresponsive woman approximately one-half mile from the intersection of Johnson Road and Bear Swamp Road in Parsonsburg, about 10-15 feet from the road in the wood line. She was pronounced deceased at the scene by emergency medical service personnel and transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for autopsy.

Immigration officials let 8,000 child brides into the US, say laws will need to change to stop that
The U.S. government approved more than 5,000 immigration requests for visas or green cards from foreign adults who asked to bring child spouses, or boys and girls under the age of 18, to the country from 2007 to 2017, according to the results of a Senate committee investigation.
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, which considers these types of requests for admission prior to the State Department's final approval of them, granted exactly 5,556 approvals to adults over a 10-year period, the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee wrote in a report issued Friday.
Another 2,926 applications in which the minor asked to be admitted with his or her adult spouse were also approved. Approximately 200 minors filed petitions seeking to come to the U.S. with an underage spouse.

China Threatens U.S. Freedom of Navigation Patrols with Anti-Ship Missiles
China responded to the latest U.S. Navy freedom of navigation patrol in the South China Sea by declaring it would “take necessary actions to protect state sovereignty” and touting its deployment of nuclear-capable ballistic missiles as a step toward doing so. Chinese state media pointedly described the missiles as “ship-killers.”
China’s state-run Global Times reported the deployment of Dong Feng-26 anti-ship ballistic missiles to northwestern China on Tuesday, advertising the weapons as a “new generation of intermediate-range ballistic missile capable of targeting medium and large ships at sea.”
The launchers are supposedly parked in the interior of the country to make the missiles more difficult to intercept, but the launch platforms are mobile and could be quickly moved to any desired firing position.

Mark Penn: FBI Trump-Russia investigation shows deep state was worse than we thought
I guess no one in the FBI ever watched “The Apprentice.” It was only the number-one rated show in the country. In it, Donald Trump, more than any other person in the world, made famous weekly the phrase “you’re fired.”
Consequently when Donald Trump abruptly fired FBI Director James Comey, exercising the authority he believed he had as president of the United States, he was taking the very action he made famous. It wasn’t out of character for him but in character, as he has been throughout his administration. If anything, it’s hard to find anyone who has not been fired or threatened with firing. It’s what he does.
Now, let’s review some of the actions of the FBI director. Many of these actions were clear at the time; others we know only now. What we have learned since underscores that the president’s firing of Comey was more than justified, and the actions of Comey’s staff and the Department of Justice (DOJ) to trigger the most extensive investigation in history of a campaign, an administration and a president appear to be wholly without justification – and were based instead on politically inspired emotion and hysteria.

Gingrich: FBI probe of Trump was led by anti-Trump fanatics who betrayed Constitution
The extraordinary story published Friday night in The New York Times headlined “F.B.I. Opened Inquiry into Whether Trump was Secretly Working on Behalf of Russia” tells us how deeply sick the Washington establishment has become.
A group of bureaucrats – elected by no one – sat in a room and decided they would investigate the new president of the United States for possible treason. Let me repeat: treason. This is, after all, the implication of this investigation.
This group of bureaucrats reports to no one in elected authority. In a Justice Department where employees gave 97 percent of their presidential campaign contributions to Hillary Clinton, the hostility toward – and fear of – newly elected President Trump was deep.
The senior members of the Justice Department (all promoted under the Obama administration) were clearly prepared to go all-out to repudiate the verdict of the American people in the 2016 election.

Build two walls: A physical wall and a 'policy wall'
For years, I worked the southwest border as a Border Patrol agent and as a special agent. A wall, barrier, bulwark, fortification, or whatever it is called will work. A physical barrier limits narcotics trafficking through the porous border areas and will likewise funnel migrants to areas that the Border Patrol can focus enforcement and humanitarian efforts.
Migrants choose the path of least resistance when crossing the border, taking them through unforgiving deadly terrain with over 250 perishing in 2018 alone. The narcotics smugglers also traffic immeasurable tons of narcotics across the border unfettered. Every year, Homeland Security pushes new technology to the border. Technology simply does not stop all human traffic or narcotics smugglers from crossing north into the United States.
From my many years on the border, I know border walls work. But with a wall, there also needs to be robust efforts to curb the flow of economic migrants. A “policy wall” needs to be built that deters employers from hiring undocumented workers.
When I worked for the DHS Human Smuggling cell, the message south of the border was to get to the United States; jobs are waiting. I’m sure this message is still pushed in Central America. This message is a large part of the problem.

She Accused Him Of Rape. Text Messages Proved It Was A Lie.
A college student claimed she was forcibly raped by a man and reported him to police. Now she’s been arrested for filing a false accusation.
On December 16, 2018, Nikole P. Tucker reported that she had been forcibly raped by a man while in her dorm at the State University of New York (SUNY) Adirondack. Police responded and began investigating her claims. During the investigation, police discovered text messages between the 20-year-old Tucker and the man she accused, which proved the sexual encounter had been entirely consensual.
“The two had met through an online dating website, and he is not a student at the college. Tucker admitted she made a false report when confronted with evidence that belied her claims, authorities said,” according to a local report from the Post Star.
Police told the Post Star that Tucker “became upset with the man” after their consensual encounter and made up the rape claim.
The man she accused is not a student, so Tucker would not be able to accuse him through the school’s Title IX policy.
