First thing Friday morning, Bill Florence is getting his two kids, Chloe, 11, and Austen, 8, ready to head out the door.
"Did you guys brush your teeth?" he asks. "Yes," they moan.
Monday through Thursday, Chloe and Austen catch the bus to Peralta Trail Elementary School, but today, their dad scoots them into the family's silver Honda.
That's because Apache Junction Unified School District, just east of Phoenix, moved to a four-day week this year. With little else to cut out of its shrinking budget, it dropped Friday classes, adding an hour to class-time Monday through Thursday.
On the fifth day, Florence drops his kids off at a city-run daycare that costs the family more than $100 a month.
This year alone Bill and his wife, Jennifer Florence, will pay more than $1,500 in childcare because of the four-day schedule. "We are not happy with it," Bill says. "It isn't the ideal situation. We would rather have the kids in school on Friday."

Many Americans Believe They Don't Need The Flu Vaccine
Flu season is in swing and likely won't let up until April.
It seemed like high time to check in on how Americans feel about flu vaccination, so we asked more than 3,000 adults in the latest NPR-Truven Health Analytics Health Poll, conducted during the first half of October.
All told, 62 percent of people said they had been vaccinated or intended to get vaccinated against flu.
Those who hadn't been immunized and don't plan on it cited a variety of reasons. The top factors include a belief that a flu shot (or spray) is unnecessary for them (48 percent of the group), concerns about side effects or risks (16 percent) and worries that the vaccine could infect them with the flu (14 percent). About 8 percent of the people who plan to skip vaccination said it's because they believe it's ineffective.

Salvadoran wanted on murder charges removed by ICE
According to Salvadoran police reports, on Dec. 24, 2004, Rafael Antonio Vaquerano was drinking with the victim when an argument ensued. Vaquerano took out his weapon and fired one shot hitting the victim in the abdomen. The victim subsequently passed away.
Vaquerano, who illegally entered the United States in April 2005, was ordered removed in absentia by an immigration judge in September 2005. He failed to depart from the United States and instead went into hiding. ERO encountered Vaquerano Sept. 28, 2015, following an arrest by a local Maryland police department official.
ERO officials, who confirmed that Vaquerano was wanted in El Salvador based on an Interpol Red Notice, processed Vaquerano for removal from the United States.
“The United States will not be used as a safe haven by foreign criminals evading justice,” said Baltimore Field Office Director Dorothy Herrera Niles. “Our message to fugitives like Vaquerano is clear: It may take days, weeks or years, but we will catch up with you, and you will be held accountable.”
Donald Trump denies mocking disabled reporter
Republican presidential contender Donald Trump has denied mocking a disabled New York Times reporter during a campaign address earlier this week.
Mr Trump flailed his arms while referring to an article about the 9/11 attacks by Serge Kovaleski, who has a congenital joint condition.
But the politician insisted he did not know what the reporter looked like.
He tweeted that he simply was "showing a person grovelling to take back a statement made long ago".
"I have no idea who Serge Kovaleski is, what he looks like or his level of intelligence," he said in a statement.
"I merely mimicked what I thought would be a flustered reporter trying to get out of a statement he made long ago.
"I have tremendous respect for people who are physically challenged and have spent tens of thousands of dollars throughout buildings all over the world on making them handicapped accessible and ADA (American Disability Act) compliant."
He also accused the New York Times of being "dishonest" and "trying to make a story out of nothing".

CNN: Say, Will Journalists Be Writing Earth’s Obituary Due To ‘Climate Change’
The news media have already been heavily complicit in the Cult of Climastrology by being the mouthpieces and disseminators of the junk science, most often refusing to broadcast any opposing views
Will we write Earth’s next chapter or its obituary?
When National Geographic first sent some of the world’s best photographers and mapmakers on assignment more than 125 years ago, we didn’t set to capture the “before” photos for an imperiled planet. But that’s exactly what happened.
Over the decades, from the Matterhorn to the Great Barrier Reef to the West Antarctic Ice Sheet, these intrepid explorers became the visual record-keepers of climate change.
Today, that record is alarmingly clear. Since the late 19th century, Earth’s average temperature has increased 1.5 degrees Fahrenheit, melting glaciers and raising sea levels.
1.5F in over 160 years is less than scary, and well in line with every other Holocene warm period, if not smaller. Antarctica? NASA grudgingly notes that it has been getting cooler. West Antarctica? Most likely due to vulcanism.

Michael Moore Launches #MyHomeIsOpen Website to encourage Americans to House Refugees
On the heels of his announcement that he would open his own Traverse City, Michigan, home to Syrian refugees entering the U.S., leftwing filmmaker Michael Moore has launched a website to encourage Americans to join him in opening their own homes to refugees.
Moore has launched the “My Home is Open” campaign on his official website, through which Americans can register their own homes as shelters for Syrian refugees.
“I’m asking anyone who can, anyone who has spare rooms in their homes or an empty apartment, cottage, or whatever, to make it available for Syrian and Iraqi refugees for between six months and a year while they’re being settled in the U.S,” Moore writes on the campaign page, adding:

FBI to start tracking animal cruelty in 2016
The FBI will begin tracking cases of animal cruelty nationally in 2016, a move advocates hope will bring more attention to the crime among law enforcement agencies and underscore the link between animal abuse and other violent crimes.
Until now, animal-related crimes have been reported into a catch-all category in the FBI's National Incident Based Reporting System. The database collects crime reports from police departments across the country.
"There was no way to find out how often it occurs, where it occurs, and whether it was on the increase," said Mary Lou Randour, senior adviser for animal cruelty programs and training at the nonprofit Animal Welfare Institute. "Empirical data is important. It's going to give us information about animal cruelty crime so we can plan better about intervention and prevention."

UMd. Promotes Safety With Smartphone App
COLLEGE PARK, Md. (WJZ) — The University of Maryland adds another layer of security on campus.
Pat Warren reports students are now able to designate a personal guardian through a smartphone app.
Walking the campus of the University of Maryland by yourself doesn’t necessarily mean you have to be alone.
“The app is called UMD Guardian, which allows students to select a personal guardian, which will then follow them from point A to point B virtually on the guardian’s device,” said Major Marc Limanski, University of Maryland Police Department.

Thanksgiving Surprise: People SHOCKED Their Families Support Donald Trump
A whole bunch of people were in for a nasty shock when they went to celebrate with their families this week – many of their families are supporting Donald Trump for president. Oh, the horror of it all! They are supporting a conservative Republican!! Perish the thought. A number of individuals swore off their families forever over this. No big loss to those they are deserting. Others vowed no Christmas presents for their family members who want to, you know, actually save the Republic (not that these morons know the true meaning of Christmas). Again, no huge loss. This is awesome. Trump Derangement Syndrome is in full beast mode out there. These liberal weenies are going home to a dose of reality. The majority of America seems to be all in for Trump and the Leftist morons are now slipping from denial into anger, then to depression and finally to defeat. Good times. I wish someone would compile a video of the shocked faces of these useful idiots as the joyous and excited dinner conversations supporting Trump ensued. It would be a hit.

Lost Snowshoe Cat
Hi,
For the past six weeks or so there is a beautiful male Snowshoe cat that comes to my house every night for food.
He is as sweet as can be and quite the chatterbox. He has obviously been someone's cat and seems to be lost.
I'm not sure how this works, but I was wondering if you could put something on your blog spot about him. I live on Coulbourn Mill Road. My phone no is 410 430 4299.

Dear Christians, Now Is The Time For Intolerance
You may have noticed that progressives have zero tolerance for apostasy.
If you blaspheme their gods or deny their dogmas or commit any sort of heresy against what they hold sacred, they will punish you. They will boycott you. They will rally against you. They will scream and shout and hang labels like “bigot” and “homophobe” and “transphobe” around your neck. They will destroy your reputation, if necessary, and your career, and your entire life if they can. They do not believe that non-progressive ideas have a fundamental right to exist, nor do they think any form of non-progressive expression should be excused.
They will challenge everything. They are unforgiving and unrelenting. They do not suffer blasphemers gladly; they would much rather make the blasphemer suffer. In that way, they are strikingly similar to jihadists, which might partly explain why progressives seem to understand and sympathize with that group.
Now compare them to Christians in this country. Contrast how we react to blasphemy to how they do. There’s certainly quite a bit more of the anti-Christian type to go around, and it’s always significantly more vicious, targeted, and intentional. Just last week, for instance, the hit ABC show “Scandal” aired an episodewhere the protagonist got an abortion. It was meant to be an inspiring, climactic, even festive moment. During the procedure “Silent Night” played in the background.
Did you get that?
Maybe I should pause here.

VIDEO: “MODERATE MUSLIMS” SUPPORT STONING WOMEN FOR ADULTERY, EXECUTING GAYS
"Every Muslim believes in these things"
Video footage out of Norway proves that the notion of “moderate Islam” is a complete myth and that far more than a tiny minority of Muslims harbor violent, intolerant and extremist views.
During a conference held in May 2013, Norwegian Islamic leader Fahad Qureshi complains that the media often frames views such as “the death penalty for homosexuals” or the subjugation of women as only being held by radical Muslims.
“I always try to tell them that….these are general views that every Muslim actually has….every Muslim believes in these things,” says Qureshi.

Government Forecasters Significantly Overestimated Obamacare Plan Profitability
The CEO of UnitedHealth Group Inc. recently announced that the company was losing hundreds of millions of dollars by offering qualified health plans (QHPs) in the Obamacare exchanges. As 2015 comes to a close, the insurer will have lost $350 million, and it expects to lose another $500 million by offering health plans on the exchanges next year. This statement by one of America’s largest health insurers follows reports about how more than half of the Obamacare health insurance co-ops have failed.
The fact that Obamacare plans are turning out not to be profitable seems to have taken Washington’s bean counters by surprise. This is best illustrated by estimates produced by the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) and the administration on the Obamacare risk corridor program. As a little background, the risk corridor program is designed to collect payments from insurers who made excess profits—as determined by the federal government—and make payments to insurers with excess losses. If the government didn’t collect enough from profitable insurers to cover the compensatory payments, taxpayers would be stuck paying for the shortfall.
However, according to CBO and the administration, taxpayers would have nothing to fear, as the payments made by profitable insurers would cover any claims made by unprofitable insurers. Specifically, CBO estimated last year that the Obamacare risk corridor program would receive about $1.7 billion in payments from profitable insurers in 2015 (source: CBO’s 2014 August baseline), while the administration estimated that profitable insurers would remit $5.5 billion (source: the president’s fiscal year 2016 budget).

One reason is that NATO governments lie every time that they open their mouths.
A second reason is that Turkey’s claim that the SU-24 was in Turkey’s airspace for 17 seconds but only traveled 1.15 miles means that the SU-24 was flying at stall speed! The entire Western media was too incompetent to do the basic math!

15 Excerpts That Show How Radical, Weird And Out of Touch College Campuses Have Become
How radical, weird and out of touch have liberals on college campuses gotten since Obama came into office? It’s worse than you ever thought and although there is an almost unlimited number of problematic incidents to choose from, these 15 are particularly effective at getting across how bad things have become.
1) “College Students Say Remembering 9/11 Is Offensive to Muslims…. The everything-is-offensive brand of campus activism has struck a new low: Students at the University of Minnesota killed a proposed moment of silence for 9/11 victims due to concerns—insulting, childish concerns—that Muslim students would be offended.”
2) “Portland State University Offers Course Teaching How to ‘Make Whiteness Strange’…According to Portland State University Professor Rachel Sanders’ ‘White Privilege’ course, ‘whiteness’ must be dismantled if racial justice will ever be achieved. The course description states that ‘whiteness is the lynchpin of structures of racial meaning and racial inequality in the United States” and claims that ‘to preserve whiteness is to preserve racial injustice.’ Students taking the course will ‘endeavor to make whiteness strange.’ In order to make whiteness strange, the description says students must ‘interrogate whiteness as an unstable legal, political, social, and cultural construction.’”
3) “A University in the San Francisco Area Actually Told Students To Call 911 if They Were Offended….Administrators at a Catholic university in the San Francisco Bay Area have rescinded an official school policy instructing students to clog up the regional 9-1-1 emergency reporting system to report ‘bias incidents.’
The school is Santa Clara University, reports Campus Reform…Until this month, however, Santa Clara administrators have been instructing students to report ‘bias incidents’ using the emergency service reserved for dispatching police, firefighters and ambulances.
‘If the bias incident is in progress or just occurred: ALWAYS CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY,’ the Santa Clara website instructed students in fierce, all-capital letters.”

WHY BLACK FRIDAY IS A COMPLETE SCAM
Retailers raise prices in months beforehand to make discounts look good
Black Friday is a complete scam based around the manifestly provable hoax that consumers are getting huge discounts on products that would normally be more expensive at any other time of year.
In reality, stores enjoy higher profit margins during the holiday period because retailers artificially inflate prices of goods in the months before Black Friday in order to make the subsequent discounts look good in comparison.
As Bloomberg Businessweek reports, “Among the 15 largest U.S. retailers, operating margins in the holiday quarter last year (2013) were 11 percent, compared with 9 percent in the preceding nine months. Amid the year-end shopping frenzy, these companies padded their bottom lines, on average, by roughly one-quarter.”

Protesters in Chicago Block Store Entrances, Shut Down Traffic on Black Friday
CHICAGO (AP) — Hundreds of protesters blocked store entrances and shut down four lanes of traffic in Chicago’s ritziest shopping district on Black Friday to draw attention to the 2014 police killing of a black teenager who was shot 16 times by a white officer.
Demonstrators shrugged off a cold drizzling rain to turn the traditional start of the holiday shopping season on Michigan Avenue’s Magnificent Mile into a high-profile platform from which to deliver their message: The killing of 17-year-old Laquan McDonald was another example of what they say is the systemic disregard police show for the lives and rights of black people.

OBAMA COMPARES UNVETTED SYRIAN MUSLIM MIGRANTS TO PILGRIMS ON THE MAYFLOWER (VIDEO)
“Nearly four centuries after the Mayflower set sail, the world is still full of pilgrims."
Obama never quits pushing his radical agenda – no matter how unpopular it is.
In his Thanksgiving message this year Barack Obama compared Syrian refugees to the Mayflower.
The Hill reported:
This Thanksgiving, President Obama is calling for Americans to lend a helping hand to another group of pilgrims fleeing persecution.
“Nearly four centuries after the Mayflower set sail, the world is still full of pilgrims – men and women who want nothing more than the chance for a safer, better future for themselves and their families,” Obama said in his weekly address Thursday. “What makes America America is that we offer that chance.”
The president praised Americans who have offered to open their homes to refugees fleeing war-torn Syria.
“One woman from Pennsylvania wrote to me to say, ‘Money is tight for us in my household. … But I have a guest room. I have a pantry full of food. We can do this,’ ” Obama said.

At a town hall meeting in New Hampshire on October 30, senator and presidential candidate Bernie Sanders attempted to clarify in what sense he is a “socialist.”
One voter in attendance, echoing the beliefs of many Americans, remarked, “I come from a generation where that’s a pretty radical term — we think of socialism (with) communism. Can you explain to us exactly what that is?” Sanders responded, in part: “If we go to some countries, what they will have is health care for all as a right. I believe in that. They will have paid family and medical leave. I believe in that. They will have a much stronger childcare system than we have, which is affordable for working families. I believe in that.”
Sanders went on to clarify that he regards himself as a democratic socialist: “What I mean by Democratic socialism is looking at countries in Scandinavia that have much lower rates of child poverty, that have a fairer tax system that guarantees basic necessities of life to working people. Essentially what I mean by that is creating a government that works for working families, rather than the kind of government we have today which is largely owned and controlled by wealthy individuals and large corporations.”

FORMER CIA OPERATIVE: GET READY FOR WWIII
Expect Putin to respond to provocations by Turkey
Bob Baer, a former CIA operative, believes the situation in the Middle East is out of control and shaping up to look like the beginning of World War III.
“This mosaic in the Middle East of conflict is getting out of control,” Baer told CNN. “It’s not just Russia and Turkey, it’s Iran and Saudi Arabia. It is expanding rather than contracting, and nobody has a strategic plan.”
Baer said Vladimir Putin is likely to react to the Turkish shoot down of a Russian warplane.
On Thursday Putin said the United States knew the flight path of the aircraft and may have fed this information to Turkey.

Houston-area father, former Marine detained with children in Mexico
A decorated former Marine and his children were detained in Mexico Friday morning after rifles and ammunition were found in their car.
Family members said Jeromie Slaughter, 38, got lost on his way to a deer lease and accidentally drove into Ciudad Acuna, Mexico.
"I was beside myself," Slaughter's mother, Beverly McKinney, said. "You know I waited for those kind of calls when he was in the military, not to go hunting."
McKinney said her son, who was awarded the Bronze Star during one his several tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, retired from the Marines last year. McKinney said her son planned the hunting trip with his 14-year-old son and 9-year-old daughter as a way to make up for lost time.
"He's been away for so long, he's trying to catch up on that dad stuff." said McKinney. "That's what this trip was for Thanksgiving weekend."

Glitter Beards Are Now a Thing and They Must Be Stopped
The most important issue of our time.
The most recent offense to taste and style comes in the form of the #glitterbeard: a disconcerting "trend" on social media that asks men to dip their beards into glitter, presumably to promote some misguided form of the holiday spirit. (Side note: can we please stop with the silly fake grooming trends on social media, guys?)

DNC Drowning in Debt
The Republican National Committee has a war chest of $20 million on hand, while the Democratic National Committee is sinking deeper in the hole as little cash is coming in while the party's debts continue to rise, according to new reports.
"With just under a year until Election Day 2016 we’re seeing great enthusiasm for the GOP," RNC Chairman Reince Priebus said in a press release, reports Fox News.
The RNC announced last week it brought in a total of $8.7 million in October, setting a record for fundraising during a off year for presidential races, and according to the Center for Responsive Politics, the party has raised $89.3 million duirng this election cycle. It has more than $20 million in chash on hand, and owes $1.8 million.
The DNC, though, has raised a total of $53.2 million, and has just $4.7 million in cash in hand, but $6.9 million in debts it owes. In October alone, the DNC raised just under $4.5 million, but spent $5.2 million.

Nearly 1,100 License Applications For Medical Cannabis
Maryland's Medical Cannabis Commission reports nearly 1,100 applications for licenses for the state's medical marijuana program.
According to figures released this week, the vast majority of the license applications, 811, were submitted for dispenser licenses. The commission says many dispenser license applicants submitted more than one application for different senatorial districts. State regulations prohibit that.
According to the commission's figures anywhere from seven to 30 applications were submitted in each senatorial district.
The state will only award a maximum of two dispensary licenses per senatorial district, for a total of 94 statewide.

HISTORICAL COMMENTS BY GEORGE CHEVALLIER 11-28-15
Technology
How many of us give any thought as to how many innovations have been afforded us in our lifetime? Just think about the differences during you can remember, let alone in the last hundred years. A hundred years ago few people had a car, a telephone, indoor plumbing or electricity. If we had to go back and live as our forefathers lived, would we survive? Of course we would. A hundred years from now, people are going to wonder, like we do now, how in the world did people manage with all the antiquated contraptions we have to put up with.
People of a certain age remember how things were before many of our modern day conveniences. There are very few left that remember the “horse and buggy” days or the days of the outhouse. In fact, there are probably very few that remember the days before many things that we take for granted today. But, they remember enough to appreciate what we have today. The problem lies in how to use them.
Before cell phones that can even take pictures or videos and send them to a computer anywhere in the world, there was such a thing as a “party line”. This was a phone in your home that was connected by wires to a central telephone office. An operator had to physically make the connection. On a party line, you might find any one of ten people talking on the line. If this happened, you would either wait until the line was clear or, as happened many times, listen in to someone else’s conversation. The telephone operators early on connected two parties by a system of wires that were connected at a central telephone office. My grandmother was a telephone operator in 1906 or 1907; but she was quick to point out that she only handled local calls; the more experienced operators handled long distance. She spoke of it like it was high tech. And to her, it probably was. She lost her hearing during an illness in the 1920’s and never used a phone again. If she did, it was always her calling you. Her method was to dial your number, wait what she considered a reasonable amount of time and say into the phone that she wanted to see you and come right over.
Another modern device is the hearing aid. She had one of the early ones that had a large device that fit between her breasts and required batteries and had a wire that connected to an ear piece. It never worked to her satisfaction, so she gave up on it and never tried a newer model. She always said there wasn’t anything worth hearing anyway. If it was that important, she said it would be in the newspaper.
Today, many of us would be lost without our computers. There are so many applications that make our lives better. The internet is a fascinating thing. I am at an age where I am considered a techno dinosaur. I know just enough to get me in trouble. I have become comfortable with what I can do on mine and don’t try anything fancy. I made up my mind a long time ago that my computer is smarter than I am and I just stick to what I can do with it.
The small electronic devices that are available today are seemingly endless. Ten year olds are running around with cell phones, ipods and MP3 players. I remember when my son got a video camera to film my granddaughter. Then it dawned on me that I didn’t have a DVD player to watch the DVD’s it would produce. I got one and my son hooked it up for me. When I expressed some ignorance as to it’s operation, he said that Lily could operate hers and she was only four years old. I can’t wait until she turns ten and can help me with my computer.
So, the bottom line is: “Enjoy what you have today and don’t worry about what is coming next. They are inventing new things while you’re sleeping and you can never be completely up-to-date.”
Like my grandmother always said, “It’s a great life, if you don’t weaken.”
Maryland teen charged in kidnapping of Ohio girl
An 18-year-old from Maryland stole his father’s car and picked up a 16-year-old girl in Ohio after the two planned to run away together, Pittsburgh police said.
But they didn’t get far before police tracked them down at a Pittsburgh motel Tuesday evening, charged the 18-year-old with several crimes and returned the girl to her guardians.
Police said Mark Thompkins met the girl through an online app about a year ago when she was 15. The girl’s grandparents forbade her from having any contact with Mr. Thompkins at the time, according to a criminal complaint, but the two continued to correspond anyway.
That led to Tuesday morning, when Mr. Thompkins drove his father’s vehicle — which had been reported stolen from his home in Preston, Md. — to Steubenville, Ohio, to pick up the girl at her grandparents’ home about 7:45 a.m., police said. The girl, who was not identified, later told police that the two “planned to meet and leave Ohio,” the complaint said.

Nurses Tell All! Salaries, Benefits, and Whether They'd Do It Again
Nurse Compensation and Satisfaction Survey
This year Medscape surveyed nurses for the first time on compensation and job satisfaction levels, with more than 8000 nurses meeting the screening criteria and completing the survey. Respondents were required to work in the United States as advanced practice nurses (APNs), registered nurses (RNs), or practical nurses whose titles are either licensed practical nurses (LPNs) or, in some states, licensed vocational nurses (LVNs); the positions are similar.
Among the highlights in the survey are the following:
Only 60% of APNs, 56% of RNs, and 48% of LPNs would choose nursing as a career again, percentages that are even lower than the 64% of physicians who reported in the Medscape 2015 Physician Compensation Report that they would choose the same profession if they had a chance to do it over.
According to the Medscape survey, APNs earn the most, with their salaries varying by specialty: $170,000 for nurse anesthetists, $102,000 for nurse practitioners (NPs), $99,000 for nurse midwives, and $95,000 for clinical nurse specialists. RN salaries average $79,000, and LPNs/LVNs make the least—$46,000, on average.
The income sex gap among nurses favors men to about the same extent that it favors male physicians, even though about 90% of nurses are women.
Nurses who responded to this survey fare better in terms of compensation in the West and worst in the North Central and Southeast regions of the United States.
About one fourth (26%) of full-time LPNs/LVNs have no employer-subsidized health insurance, and 9% have no benefits.
Over half (52%) of nurses in the Medscape survey reported an increase in salaries in 2014 compared with 2013. Only 9% said that their compensation had declined since 2013.

You'll Never Guess The Most Charitable Nation In The World
And the winner for most charitable nation in the world is ... Myanmar. Coming in second: the United States.
If you're scratching your head, one reason may be that the ranking confounds the common perception "that generosity and wealth are connected to one another," says Adam Pickering. He's the international policy manager of the London-based Charities Aid Foundation (CAF), which publishes the annual World Giving Index, now in its sixth year. Only five of the G20 countries appear in the top 20, he points out. So "even though you might think it would," wealth does not necessarily translate into greater generosity.

ISIS or ISIL Explanation
IF YOU HAVE EVER WONDERED WHY THERE IS A DIFFERENCE.....HERE IT IS....ANOTHER NAIL!Subject: ISIS or ISIL explanation......HERE is an explanation of the difference between the terms ISIS and ISIL. I have been suspicious of the term ISIL to which the administration stubbornly clings.
ISIS = Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. Iraq is to the east of Jordan (shaped like the hatchet) and Syria is to the north.ISIL = Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. Iraq is still to the east of Jordan, and “the Levant” is a term that comes from “the rising (of the sun, i.e., to the east)” - and is basically the land along the Mediterranean - that includes Lebanon, Israel, and those countries along that region.By saying ISIL, you “negate” Israel as its own country and lump it in with the rest of the countries along the Mediterranean - and Israel sort of disappears (loses its sovereignty) and becomes part of “the Levant ” - which is therefore part of ISIL.If you've wondered, as I have, why all government agencies and especially Obama calls it ISIL and even spells it out every time it’s used, instead of ISIS as the rest of the world, here's the answer.Decoding Obama’s speech reveals some startling revelations. In one press conference after another, when referring to the Muslim terror super-group ISIS, United States President Barack Obama will use the term ISIL, instead of their former name ISIS, or current name Islamic State.Have you ever wondered about that? Here is the difference: What makes up the near exact center of the Muslim Levant? Israel. ISILstands for the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant. Now, to us Westerners we don't really make much of a distinction, do we? No, honestly from our perspective it’s all about the same. But how would a Muslim living in the Middle East view it? Just what is the Levant anyway? Let’s take a look. The geographical term LEVANT refers to a multi-nation region in the Middle East. It’s a land bridge between Turkey to the north and Egypt to the south. If you look on a map, however, in the near exact middle of the nations that comprise the Levant, guess what you see? It’s Israel. When Barack Obama refers over and over to the Islamic State as ISIL, he is sending a message to Muslims all over the Middle East that he personally does not recognize Israel as a sovereign nation, but as territory belonging to the Islamic State.
Now you know why Obama says that he has no plan, no goal, and no stated aim for dealing with ISIS.But he does have a plan, and it’s a really nasty, diabolical one.Obama’s plan is to drag his feet for as long as he can, doing only the bare minimum that Congress forces him to do. His plan is to buy ISIL as much time as possible to make as many gains as they can.
Listen as Obama, his press secretary, the spokesperson for the State Department, and his Joint Chiefs of Staff painstakingly spell out the letters I-S-I-L so there is no doubt in your mind. And it’s working. The Islamic State has garnered millions of dollars, a vast cache of weapons, and in their latest foray have captured Syrian fighter jets and now 12 commercial passenger planes. With each passing day that Obama fulfills his stated aim of doing nothing, the Islamic State grows by leaps and bounds. The ultimate goal, of course, has not changed and will never change. The ultimate goal is the destruction of Israel.
Now you know a little bit more about why Obama chooses his words so carefully.
SYRIAN CONFLICT EXPLAINED TO DUMMIES
President Assad (who is bad) is a nasty guy who got so nasty his people rebelled and the Rebels (who are good) started winning.
So, a Coalition of Assad (still bad) Putin (extra bad) and the Iranians (good, but in a bad sort of way) are going to attack IS (who are bad) which is a good thing, but also the Syrian Rebels (who are good) which is bad.
So Assad (bad) is now probably good, being better than IS (no real choice there) and since Putin and Iran are also fighting IS that may now make them good. America (still good) will find it hard to arm a group of rebels being attacked by the Russians for fear of upsetting Mr Putin (now good) and that mad ayatollah in Iran (also good) and so they may be forced to say that the Rebels are now bad, or at the very least abandon them to their fate. This will lead most of them to flee to Turkey and on to Europe or join IS (still the only constantly bad group).
That should clear it up.
Food for Thought
Not a single Democratic candidate would admit we are at war with ISIS, yet they just vowed attacks on US soil.
Look how long ago it was known and understood what we were going to face.
Europe didn't head his warning, will we???Eight pictures to make you think... and Churchill foresaw it!!!!Be sure to read Churchill's comments at the end, and share it!There are no words to add to this!!! But Churchill saw it coming. Read his ending comment.,,,,,,,,and the very last

...And some people still do
not see a reason to worry!
Winston Churchill 1899. "Individual Muslims may show
splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyses the
social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde
force exists in the world."===============================================================================================
This is amazing. Even more
amazing is that this hasn't been published long before
now.
CHURCHILL ON ISLAMUnbelievable, but the speech below was written in 1899.
(Check Wikipedia - The River War). The attached short speech from Winston
Churchill, was delivered by him in 1899 when he was a young soldier and journalist. It probably sets out the current views of many, but expresses in the wonderful Churchillian turn of phrase and use of the English language, of which he was a past master. Sir Winston Churchill was, without doubt, one of the greatest men of the late 19th and 20th centuries. He was a brave young soldier, a brilliant journalist, an extraordinary politician and statesman, a great war leader and British Prime Minister, to whom the Western world must be forever in his debt.He was a prophet in his own time. He died on 24th January 1965, at the grand old age of 90 and, after a lifetime of service to his country, was accorded a State funeral.
HERE IS THE SPEECH:"How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries, improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement, the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute
property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction
of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.Individual Muslims may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it.No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that
Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had
vainly struggled, the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization
of ancient Rome."Sir Winston Churchill;
(Source: The River War, first edition, Vol II, pages 248-250 London).
Churchill saw it coming.
