Ms. Hinkley was transported to the commissioner and held on bond.
A Viewer Writes: Joe, I have seen it all!
We attended the free dinner tonight for our Veterans, at he Golden Corral. Our ROTC was ask to come to present the colors and National Anthem. One of the boys even sang the National Anthem.
When they were finished they were ask to leave they weren't
needed by the owner. In previous these boys always stayed to hold the doors, direct Veterans to their table and helped Veterans who needed help with their trays etc. They were allowed to share the meal. These boys and girls were treated with a great deal of disrespect.

The manager Jennifer was so embarrassed she was about in tears.
The owner was in the office and would not come out. He just yelled out his orders. I think he owes the young people an apology.
The warent officer took the boys out for pizza so he assured the boys had dinner. I also noticed there was not a lot of fan fair as usual. No movie on the TV's promoting the DAV as advertised for. I also notice about half as many Veterans showed up. Wonder why? Maybe they no longer appreciate our Veterans.

Members of the campus community,
Yesterday a President-elect of the United States was chosen. You may be feeling excited, proud, relieved, disappointed, scared, angry, anxious, numb, and a range of other emotions about the outcome. In this time, staff at the Counseling Center are here to support the campus community.
Students, faculty, and staff may also already feel strained by the demands of the end of this academic semester. You are encouraged to keep this in mind as you work towards completion of the semester. You also are encouraged to treat each other with civility as discussions and reactions ensue about the election and the future.
Counseling and consultation services for students are available 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday at the Counseling Center to help in this situation. The office is located at the Guerrieri University Center, room 263. You can call 410-543-6070 to make an appointment. Subject: Message to the Campus Community
To the Salisbury University community:
A contentious election season marked by negativity has come to a close. In the aftermath of this process, we acknowledge that there is understandable consternation among members of our University community. However, whatever positions we held in this process, we all need to find ways to move forward constructively and to strive for the common good.
Especially in times of significant national change like this, Salisbury University stands firm in its commitment to our long-standing core values of diversity and inclusion. We embrace these values in everything we do at the University, and we must continue to foster an environment where our differences are celebrated as much as our commonalities. Therefore, we remain absolutely committed to providing a safe environment for all members of our community where the richness of ideas, backgrounds and perspectives are harnessed and celebrated to achieve excellence.
We remind all that each member of this community deserves the full respect of every other. This is a time of significant change and some are happy and energized by that, while others are sad and even fearful of what that could mean. We should recognize that not everyone feels as we do. We must continue to respect differences of opinion, maintain civility, and create the conditions for respectful dialogue that allow mutual education to take place. The University will continue to pursue and protect these principles now and in the future, and urges our students, faculty, staff and all others to do so as well.
If you have concerns, the following resources are available:
SU Counseling Center: 410-543-6262

Commissioner Lionel Frederick guilty of extortion, malfeasance in office
PRINCESS ANNE — Princess Anne Town Commissioner Lionel D. Frederick II was found guilty Nov. 15 of extortion as a government official and malfeasance in office following a court trial in Somerset County Circuit Court. Presiding over the case was visiting Wicomico County Circuit Court Judge S. James Sarbanes.
Remaining free on his own recognizance, the judge ordered a pre-sentence investigation. The felony charge of extortion has a maximum sentence of 10 years and/or a $10,000 fine, while the common law misconduct charge has no prescribed maximum sentence. Frederick’s attorney Wm. A. Lee Clarke said an appeal with the Court of Special Appeals would be the next step after sentencing.
In the meantime a peace order that prevented Frederick from even going to town hall was modified by Judge Sarbanes so that the first-term at-large commissioner can attend meetings but “exercise common sense” in his interactions with Commissioner Dennis Williams. He is to have no other contact with the District 2 commissioner by phone or through social media. “Stay within the bounds of common sense,” the judge said.

DC Council passes ‘death with dignity’ bill
WASHINGTON — DC Council passed the “death with dignity” bill Tuesday, sending it to the mayor for final approval.
The bill would allow terminally ill patients over 18 years old, with six months or fewer to live to request lethal medication from their doctors.
The council voted 11-2 to pass the measure with council members Brianne Nadeau, Ward 1, and Yvette Alexander, Ward 7, voting against it.
In it’s first reading Nov. 1, some council members expressed the difficulty they were having personally in supporting the legislation. Council member Kenyan McDuffie, Ward 5, was brought to tears recounting his father’s final days and remarked that it was “by far my toughest vote in the four- and-a-half years on this body,” he said.

Hillary Re-Emerges Looking Like Death Warmed Up
Clinton resembled an extra from Dawn of the Dead
Hillary Clinton re-emerged publicly for the first time since her concession speech looking like death warmed up, hardly a rebuke to the “conspiracy theorists” who questioned her health throughout the election cycle.
Hillary gave a speech at a gala for the Children’s Defense Fund, which is somewhat ironic given that she once laughed about defending a child rapistwho she knew was guilty.
However, some of the people in attendance might have thought they’d accidentally stumbled onto the set of a re-make of Dawn of the Dead and that Hillary was one of the extras.
Hillary looked gaunt and exhausted, with huge bags under her bloodshot eyes. The Daily Mail was a little more polite, reporting that Hillary was “weary-looking”.

Undocumented Maryland family worries about their future
One of the president-elect's main policy points during the campaign was securing the southern border. He vowed to build the wall and deport millions of undocumented, immigrants. But for those who are undocumented fear that their families will be broken apart is mounting as Donald Trump prepares to take office.
This was one of the hottest, most controversial issues in the campaign. WBAL-TV 11 News spoke to an undocumented family living in Baltimore County about their serious, real-life worries for the future.
Carlos Crespo is a devoted father, teaching his 6-year-old daughter with Down syndrome her ABCs. He's terrified about Trump's calls for mass deportation.
"We try to live a normal life, but we have this fear hanging over us, I don't know if one day I'll get a call they've detained my wife, I don't know If I'll be able come home to see my daughter," Crespo said.

‘Sanctuary cities’ vow to protect immigrants from Trump plan
SEATTLE (AP) — Democratic mayors of major U.S. cities that have long had cool relationships with federal immigration officials say they will do all they can to protect residents from deportation, despite President-elect Donald Trump’s vows to withhold potentially millions of dollars in taxpayer money if they do not cooperate.
New York City’s Bill de Blasio, Chicago’s Rahm Emanuel and Seattle’s Ed Murray are among those in “sanctuary cities” that have tried to soothe worried immigrant populations.
“Seattle has always been a welcoming city,” Murray said Monday. “The last thing I want is for us to start turning on our neighbors.”
In Providence, Rhode Island, Mayor Jorge Elorza, the son of Guatemalan immigrants, said he would continue a longstanding policy of refusing to hold people charged with civil infractions for federal immigration officials. Newark, New Jersey’s Ras Baraka echoed that decision, calling Trump’s rhetoric on immigration “scary.”

This Is One Of The Reasons Why Salisbury News Is So Important
Yesterday we published an article about a robbery occurred at the Center at Salisbury Mall. Don't you find it incredible that not one of the main stream media sources have run an article about such a serious matter?
Is Joe Albero the Anti Christ because we exposed the TRUTH? The information we published has been confirmed by multiple witnesses and sources.
As I have mentioned in the past, I've been confronted by community leaders for years now asking me to stop publishing such negative articles about Salisbury. I have butted heads with every Mayor since I started Salisbury News. Why, because we told the truth and we have exposed thousands of questionable and documented things going on that clearly wasn't pampered. We've not shown favoritism because we run Salisbury News for the benefit of the PUBLIC.
When the new local free newspaper came out they basically said they were going to run positive news and information on a local level. It would be against their grain to expose an armed robbery. However, what about WBOC, WMDT and the Daily Times?
When I watched WBOC this morning their main local stories were about the Bypass and the flea market parking lot 10 being surplussed. When it comes to the Bypass, it is what it is. As for the parking lot, they conveniently mentioned commercial and housing going in there. Do you not wonder if it will include Affordable Housing? Do you not think WBOC should've asked that question?
Nevertheless, there was NOTHING mentioned about the robbery at the Mall, yet it has been 100% confirmed. Your local media is not serving you as a community. It's no wonder, (seriously) why Salisbury News has hits in the tens of millions. We have soared to massive popularity because we are the only news source that is actually run based on our community first.
The only way we can fix situations like what recently happened at the Mall is to confront it head on. I have always said, "You cannot fix something you are not aware of". Just imagine if I was your Mayor or Council Member. While I may not be liked or appreciated by community leaders, at least situations like this would be addressed and solutions would be brought forth. Right now, well, it's covered up and guess what, Salisbury has no gangs, less crime and we have rainbow colored skies. Can you tell me of a current council member that is actually addressing crime and jobs?
I should add, I know MANY women who refuse to come to Salisbury at night. While some of you might take that lightly, it's a serious problem. THAT is Salisbury's reputation. So let's plant trees and pave Main Street Downtown because that will revitalize everything. Idiots!

Maryland Officials Hopeful Trump Presidency Won’t Hurt State
BALTIMORE (AP) — President-elect Donald Trump found little support in Maryland, where even the Republican governor disavowed him. Now Maryland officials hope long-running benefits from the state’s proximity to the nation’s capital won’t suffer under a Trump administration.
Maryland has long benefited from federal grants, agency headquarters and other federal largesse. Its suburbs are populated with federal workers uncertain about their jobs if the new president cuts back amid promises to “drain the swamp” of Washington. Between Republican Gov. Larry Hogan and Maryland Democrats, if there’s any place where a state’s power structure didn’t support Trump, it’s Maryland.
Hillary Clinton won Maryland’s 10 electoral votes with 60 percent of the vote, while 35 percent of the vote went for Trump. Both of the state’s senators are Democrats, as well as seven of Maryland’s eight U.S. House members. The state’s House incumbents seeking re-election cruised to easy victories on Tuesday.
Rep. Andy Harris, the state’s lone Republican congressman who was the president elect’s only supporter in Maryland’s congressional delegation, said he’s confident the state’s defense industry and bases will benefit, because of Trump’s pledge to strengthen the military, even if it comes at the expense of some other government agencies. Maryland is home to Bethesda-based Lockheed Martin, Linthicum-based Northrop Grumman and large military bases such as Fort Meade and Naval Air Station Patuxent River.

Black motorists in Md. are pulled over, searched at higher rates
Black motorists in Maryland are stopped and searched by police at higher rates than their white counterparts, despite being less likely in many jurisdictions to be found with illicit drugs or other contraband, according to statewide traffic stop data.
In Baltimore County, black drivers were targeted in 50 percent of reported traffic stops by county police and 53 percent of vehicle searches between 2013 and this year, according to data from the Maryland Statistical Analysis Center, despite black people making up just 27 percent of the county's population.
In Anne Arundel County, black motorists accounted for 29 percent of stops and 35 percent of searches. Black people make up just 16 percent of the population in Arundel.
In Howard County, black drivers were targeted in 37 percent of stops and 43 percent of searches, despite black people making up just 18 percent of the population. After being pulled over in Howard for seat belt violations — one of the most common offenses tracked — black motorists were 87 percent more likely than white motorists to be searched.

Colleges Offering Therapy to Students ‘Traumatized’ by Election Results
Cornell holds a "cry-in," Tufts offers arts and crafts
Colleges throughout the country are offering students a variety of therapeutic activities after Donald Trump was elected president on Tuesday night.
The Wall Street Journal highlighted a number of examples from across the country.
Students at Cornell University gathered to hold a “cry-in” with students drinking hot chocolate and using tissues handed out by school staff. The University of Kansas announced that it would regularly bring in therapy dogs to campus while Tufts University had arts and crafts on hand.
Such initiatives have immediately attracted criticism for students being too emotional over the election results and unable to withstand disappointment. Schools defended the gentle treatment by saying that students have real concerns about Trump’s presidency.
Some teachers even cancelled classes so that students could “recover,” the Journal reported.
Still, Alan Peel, an astronomy lecturer at the University of Maryland canceled a test scheduled for Wednesday morning, writing to students that he worried some of their performances may be affected by “the monumental effort necessary to accept what must be a personally threatening election result.”

Hillary Clinton's advisors blame US election loss on the FBI and the media
Advisors to Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign who believe victory was snatched away from the former secretary of state have begun airing their grievances, pointing the finger at FBI Director James Comey for releasing a bombshell letter about Clinton's emails just 11 days before the election.
'We know that in the midst of the heartbreak and sadness everyone feels, we’re starting to look for some answers as to what happened,' wrote Navin Nayak, head of Clinton's opinion research division in the first insider printed analysis to see daylight.
'We believe that we lost this election in the last week. Comey’s letter in the last 11 days of the election both helped depress our turnout and also drove away some of our critical support among college-educated white voters—particularly in the suburbs,' he wrote in a letter obtained by Politico.

Are You An Idiot?
Yesterday we all came out with a press release letting you know a local business was expanding and in three years they'll add up to 50 new jobs. WOW, what a load of crap!
While I am personally happy/excited about this business growing, I'm NOT an Idiot!
Let's start with Labinol. Weren't they supposed to have up to 1,000 employees after receiving a grant Jim Ireton and Babs helped them get from the state of Maryland and then they took the money, packed up and relocated to Texas. Let's cut the staff in half and say there were 500 jobs lost here. Now all of a sudden Jake Day, Bob Culver and Governor Hogan are pounding their chest for an ALLEGED 50 new positions here IN THREE YEARS.
Let's also not forget that SWED, (Salisbury Wicomico Economic Development) is also pounding their chest, WHY? Because yet another rare business expansion FELL INTO THEIR LAP!
I'm not an Idiot. You see, if SWED was bringing in new manufacturing jobs, that would be an achievement but Americans have become so stupid these days, they fall for this kind of press release as exciting, it's not.
THINK! What the hell is Governor Hogan doing putting out this press release? Tell me Ladies & Gentlemen, when is the last time a sitting Governor actually brought a new company to the Eastern Shore? We read how each Governor brings jobs/industry to Baltimore and Montgomery County but never to the Shore.
Didn't the Governor, County Executive and Mayor run their campaign on JOBS? Is this expansion what you accept as a delivery of a promise? If you said yes, you are in fact an Idiot.
Our elected officials need to be held accountable for their campaign promises. We all believed that the people we elected were in fact the answer to our problems, jobs.
They went FULL COURT PRESS on this press release and it's a JOKE. When the Economic Development Director brings forth a REAL press release that takes a major bite into the Labinol loss, then and only then will I be excited. In the mean time your elected officials continue to fail you here on the Eastern Shore.
Finally, I'm in the news business and let me assure you, I never hear uplifting news or even discussions about the possibility of bringing future excitement towards job growth. As I stated yesterday, keep planting those trees Downtown and call it revitalization, Idiots.

Passerby shoots, kills motorist assaulting deputy after traffic stop
A driver who attacked a Florida sheriff's deputy Monday morning was shot and killed by a bystander who warned him to stop beating the officer, according to a report.
The incident began at around 9:30 a.m. when the Lee County deputy tried to make a traffic stop on Interstate 75 in Estero. Instead of complying, witnesses said the driver took off, reaching speeds of more than 100 miles per hour.
The deputy chased the suspect onto an exit ramp, where a witness said the suspect got out of his car and assaulted his pursuer.
Shanta Holditch told WZVN that the suspect pulled the deputy out of his car and "just kept beating him and beating him ... throwing him to the ground and punching him in all different directions."
At that point, WINK reported, another driver got out of his car and ran to the scene. He told the suspect that he'd shoot him if he didn't stop beating the deputy.
"[He] refused to get off the officer and the officer kept yelling, 'shoot him, shoot him, shoot him,' Holditch said.

3 NBA Teams REFUSING To Stay At Trump Towers – INCOMING BOYCOTT!
Politics and sports really don’t belong together — people don’t watch football or basketball games to be preached at about the latest liberal outrage du jour. Yet athletes just can’t seem to get the message. The latest comes from the NBA, where three teams have decided to boycott Trump Towers.
The Milwaukee Bucks, Memphis Grizzlies and Dallas Mavericks have all announced that they will not stay at any hotel owned or licensed by Donald Trump. The goal is to send a message that they do not support his election as president.
Bucks co-owner Marc Lasry has two children that have both worked in politics: his daughter served under Rahm Emanuel, while his son worked for Valerie Jarrett. Lasry, along with outspoken Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, endorsed Hillary Clinton.

Mayor reaffirms Baltimore as welcoming city to immigrants
Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake has reaffirmed that Baltimore is a welcoming city for immigrants, despite what she called a "scary environment."
In the past few days, mayors from sanctuary cities around the country have made similar gestures. Baltimore doesn't hold sanctuary-city status, because the city doesn't control Central Booking or Immigration and Customs Enforcement deportation procedures.
The mayor made it clear Thursday what it means to be a welcoming city. Joined by immigrants from a number of Baltimore neighborhoods, the mayor said they and refugees make the city stronger and more diverse.
Rawlings-Blake said that in wake of the national election, she wanted to assure residents that Baltimore is inclusive and tolerant.

JUST IN: Raging Radical LEFTISTS Storm Trump Transition Headquarters!
Protests and riots have become nearly the norm for America in the last eight days. Since the election of Donald Trump as next president of The United States of America, Americans have been up in arms. Especially those on the left side of the political aisle. But the appointment of Stephen K. Bannon as his chief White House strategist and senior counselor has many people furious. Especially those from the Jewish community.
They claims against Stephen K. Bannon are extreme, and even some right wing conservatives are uncomfortable with this appointment. And that frustration has led protesters into the very office of the Trump transition headquarters with their protests. They are chanting things like “Fire Bannon!!” and “Jews speak out!”

Illegals demand Obama issue mass pardons amid Trump deportation fears
Illegal immigrants are preparing to ask President Obama to pardon some 750,000 Dreamers, saying such a move is their last, best hope to stave off what they fear will be a wave of deportations once Donald Trump takes the Oval Office.
Community leaders have planned a rally in New York on Wednesday to make the request.
“Millions of law abiding undocumented immigrants are fearful of what will happen when the new Administration takes control in January,” the group of New York state lawmakers and immigration advocates said in a statement announcing the rally. “However, President Obama has the power of pardons that he can use to protect all DACA enrollees.”
As of September, more than 740,000 illegal immigrants had been approved for Mr. Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, a minor amnesty that grants young adult illegal immigrants a two-year stay of deportation and issues them work permits, entitling them to driver’s licenses and some taxpayer benefits.

Maryland comptroller misdirected more than $21 million in tax money
Maryland's chief tax collector said Wednesday that his office accidentally misdirected $21.4 million of local income tax payments for years, a mistake that affects nearly every municipality in the state.
Comptroller Peter Franchot told a panel of state lawmakers that the scope of misdirected tax payments was broader than he previously thought.
State auditors reported in September that the comptroller's office had sent $8.7 million to the wrong municipalities in Montgomery County. On Wednesday, Franchot said his office found another $12.7 million in misdirected money since 2010.
Over the next couple of days, 89 cities will receive checks for money they should have received over the past five years. Some checks will be for hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Another 83 cities, which received money in error, will be required to repay the state. The cities will be put on payment plans that start in 2024.
Franchot, a Democrat, has been comptroller for nearly 10 years.

DNC Prepares To Elevate Muslim Congressman Ellison To Chief
If you thought the Democrats would respond to Donald Trump’s stunning victory in the 2016 presidential election by attempting to woo back some of the white blue-collar voters they lost over the last eight years, you’re sadly mistaken: they’ll be doubling down on the Obama coalition.
The proof: on Friday, support built dramatically among Democratic insiders like incoming Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) for Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) as head of the Democratic National Committee.
Ellison is a black Muslim from Minnesota – not exactly a reflection of the crowd the Democrats lost in 2016. He’s also a radical leftist on economic policy, endorsed by socialist Senator Bernie Sanders. As Jack Heretik of Free Beacon points out, “He supported impeaching then-Vice President Dick Cheney, compared President George W. Bush to Hitler, and blamed Bush for the September 11 attacks.” He’s radically anti-Israel, too; he compared Israel to South African apartheid, and wanted Israel to grant concessions to the terrorist group Hamas. Ellison was linked to the anti-Semitic Nation of Islam, and as The Weekly Standard reports, “he himself mouthed those views.”

Md. regulators OK Pepco rate increase, 1st since merger
WASHINGTON — Maryland regulators have rejected a Pepco rate change that would have increased residential customer rates as much as 10 percent agreeing to a smaller increase instead.
The Maryland Public Service Commission approved the partial rate increase for Pepco on Tuesday. The distribution rate change will increase the average residential bill about $7 a month, an increase of almost 5 percent.
The commission also denied the power company’s request to extend a surcharge for its grid resiliency program, which will be eliminated from customers’ bills. The charge was added to help the utility improve reliability and safety following the 2012 Derecho that left much of the D.C. regions without power – some areas for days.
Pepco had sought to increase bills for residential customers about $15.80 a month, which would have generated about $127 million in additional revenue for the power company.

Bad News for Pot Heads
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives or more commonly the ATF has announced an update to Form 4473, the background check form. All Federal firearms licensees or FFLs will have to switch to the form on Jan. 16, 2017. The previous form, drafted in 2012, will no longer be accepted from that point on.
Anyone buying from or transferring a firearm through an FFL will have to fill out this updated form. The bulk of the changes to the form are small clarifications to how the background check questions are phrased but one change stands out noticeably.
Question 11.e asks if the person filling out the background check is “An unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana” among other controlled substances. It has a new warning that points out that marijuana use remains “Unlawful under Federal law regardless of whether it has been legalized or decriminalized for medicinal or recreational purposes” under state law.
This change reflects the ATF’s longstanding position that local laws don’t supersede the federal laws the ATF is tasked to interpret and enforce. As long as there are federal laws that criminalize the consumption or possession of marijuana it will be illegal for cannabis users to purchase firearms.

Comptroller’s Field Enforcement Officers Seize Nearly $173K in Untaxed Tobacco Products
ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Comptroller Peter Franchot today announced that his Field Enforcement Division (FED) assisted in charges brought against four men from Baltimore and New York. Maryland State Police (MSP) and Maryland Transportation Authority Police (MDTAP) made three separate vehicle stops and FED officers conducted field inspections in the past two weeks, resulting in the confiscation of more than 26,000 packs of contraband cigarettes and more than 5,000 cigars for a total value of nearly $173,000.
“With their fine police work and partnering, the Maryland State Police, the Maryland Transportation Authority Police and my own Field Enforcement Division agents continue to combat illegal cigarette smuggling in our state,” Comptroller Franchot said. “I’d like to thank all of the officers involved for their hard work and efforts to stop this kind of criminal activity.”
In each case, FED officers were notified and responded to each investigation. Those arrested include:
Senauth Deonarain, 41, Brooklyn, N.Y. On Nov. 8, MSP Trooper Matthew Atkinson stopped a 2016 Nissan Pathfinder, with a N.Y. registration, for a traffic violation on Interstate 95, in Perryville, Cecil County. Deonarain faces a felony charge of transporting contraband cigarettes and a misdemeanor charge of possession of contraband cigarettes. FED officers confiscated 6,599 packs of cigarettes, valued at $42,563, and the vehicle. Deonarain was released on personal recognizance.

A Viewer Writes: President Elect
I was very surprised to read about grief counseling being offered to students at Salisbury University. Welcome to the real world and get out of your bubble.
I was even more surprised to have had a dental appointment this week and was told I could not change the channel on the tv in my treatment room because the staff was told no politics on tv.
Obviously he is a Clinton supporter. Put your big boy pants on and have your temper tantrum at home by yourself in your corner. I pay for services in this office and have never been told I could not change the channel. If it bothers you that much the 5 minutes you may be in the room with me, then turn off all the tv's. They are for the patients and not the staff right? So you don't like the end result...grow up and don't punish others for their opinions.
It just goes to show that a professional is willing to drive a wedge between himself and his patients instead of being accepting of the outcome. With this behavior, things will never change. I regret now not insisting on watching what I wanted too.

We have a dishonest North Korea-style, government-run, propaganda media that exists to be the far left-wing of the globalist movement.
They are a methodical machine that pumps out a constant stream of ideological garbage disguised as “unbiased” news.
One of the biggest offenders is CNN.
Not only are they an agenda-driven shill machine, but thanks to Wikileaks we also know that they’re colluding with the DNC and Democrat candidates.
They’re a shameless FRAUD.
And these idiots have the audacity to report on, and be “outraged” by so-called “fake news,” and went so far as to attack Truthfeed – claiming we are liars who helped “influence” the election outcome.

A Viewer Writes: SU Making Plans
Hi Joe
I just heard from a student at SU that they all received emails if they need to come in and talk to a counselor, etc. about the results of the election. She led me to believe that the "talk" was to actually schedule a protest march.
I am outraged if that is true. Are the Universities actually causing this stir up?

A Viewer Writes: After 25 years, I finally cancelled my Daily Times subscription
Joe,
After the incessant barrage of left-winged propaganda, I cancelled my subscription to the Daily ‘Waste of’ Times. Like watching my wife, angrily troll through liberal Facebook posts, it made me angry and depressed to read that crap each morning. The nail in the coffin was when they posted the rebuke of on Trump in a full page reprint/ regurgitation from USA today/Gannett, their extreme left-leaning manufacturer of liberal Kool-Aid.
When I called them to cancel, they asked why. Not a good time to ask that question, but I was direct: “I am sick and tire of companies like the Times telling me how to think. Furthermore, I’m surprised that, as a business, you continue to make a product that insults a large majority of your customers. Why would any smart businessman do that? Please pass that along to the editor. If I did that, I would be out of business”
So, it got me to thinking. Since liberals change policy by boycotting businesses – and entire states (NCAA and North Carolina) when they don’t like something- why don’t we start a movement to boycott the Times until they start reporting in a fair and balances way. Not ‘right’ – not ‘left’ -but fair. I don’t want to see a Bill O’Reilly as much as I don’t want to see a Rachel Maddow lean one way or the other. They both are too extreme. And when an opinion is expressed, label it as such. Don’t hide it through a subliminal liberal narrative hidden within the story. How about simply reporting the story without any bias. I know that’s hard, since all of your professors told you how to right that way. And how about NOT omitting stories to achieve your left leaning agenda. What a fresh and novel idea.
It is obvious that a majority of local citizens do not agree with your views, so please stop trying to convince us otherwise.
So, we the right-minded, deplorable people of the Eastern Shore hereby declare full and complete boycott of your newspaper until you admit your bias, apologize for it and commit to fair and balanced reporting. I really miss the paper, actually- my dog does more, as she wonders around at the end of my driveway looking for something to bring in and, since its woodstove season, I need something else to light the fire.
Thanks for listening.
A concerned citizen.

Outrage and Fear Fuel Continuing Anti-Trump Protests
Spurred by fear and outrage, protesters around the country rallied and marched Friday as they have done daily since Donald Trump's presidential election victory.
The spirited demonstrations on college campuses and along downtown streets were mostly peaceful following previous outbreaks of window-smashing and fire-setting.
Evening marches disrupted traffic in Miami and Atlanta while organizers said people gathered on Boston Common in what was billed as a rally for peace and love.
Earlier, hundreds of people attended another "love rally" in Washington Square Park in Manhattan.
Leslie Holmes, 65, a website developer from Wilton, Connecticut, took an hour-long train ride to the demonstration — her first protest since the 1970s, when she hit the streets of San Francisco to oppose the Vietnam War.
She described herself as an armchair liberal but declared, "I'm not going to be armchair anymore."
"I don't want to live in a country where my friends aren't included, and my friends are fearful, and my children are going to grow up in a world that's frightening, and my granddaughters can look forward to being excluded from jobs and politics and fulfilling their potential, so I'm here for them," she said.

Could Trump’s win help Md. in fight for new FBI headquarters?
WASHINGTON — Maryland voters went for Hillary Clinton, but could Donald Trump’s election win bring a good thing to Maryland?
Maryland and Virginia are locked in a battle over which state will get the new FBI headquarters and the 11,000 jobs it will bring. Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan, who publicly refused to vote for Donald Trump, said Trump winning the presidency now gives his state the edge in landing the new FBI headquarters.
Persuading the FBI to make its new home in Maryland “should be a lot easier,” Hogan told the Baltimore Sun. “It should be a slam dunk at this point.”
According to The Baltimore Sun, Gov. Hogan had felt the deck was stacked against him after the Obama administration delayed the decision to pick a site for the new headquarters. The decision had been expected this year. Delaying the decision meant the next administration would get to pick the site for the new FBI headquarters.

Oakland school administrators help organize anti-Trump student protests
OAKLAND, Calif. – Officials at Oakland’s Claremont Middle School are helping students organize protests against President-elect Donald Trump unbeknownst to their parents, essentially endorsing the disobedience.
About 300 sixth, seventh, and eighth-grade students walked out of class Thursday as part of an anti-Donald Trump protest organized on Instagram. Teachers and school officials escorted students around the Rockridge neighborhood while they chanted and waved signs with Hillary Clinton campaign logos that read “We have the right to protest” for the first two class periods of the day, NBC Bay Area reports.
Teacher Lacy Lefkowitz told the news site students are petrified about the potential ramifications of Donald Trump’s historic victory Tuesday.
“They’re concerned about racism, the wall Trump wants to build and immigration,” Lefkowitz said. “It’s not OK to loot and set fires. But I think this is a great thing for them to do.”
Principal Jonathan Mayer approved the protest, and did not inform parents their children left the school grounds until after it was over.

'Hillary Couldn't Stop Crying'
Hillary Clinton "couldn't stop crying" once she learned of her loss to Donald Trump on Tuesday, best-selling conservative author Ed Klein told Newsmax TV on Wednesday.

"Eventually," he continued, "her friend said she could make out that she was blaming James Comey, the director of the FBI, for her loss — and this I don't understand exactly — and the president of the United States for not doing enough..."

Cornell University students respond to Donald Trump’s win with ‘Cry In’
There was much weeping and gnashing of teeth at Cornell University on Wednesday, as students at the Ivy League college responded to Donald Trump’s shocking general election victory by holding a “Cry In” on campus.
Approximately 30 students took part in the event, which was furnished with poster boards, markers and chalk for students to express their emotions about the president-elect.
A video posted by the Cornell Daily Sun shows students huddling to keep warm on the chilly afternoon in Ithaca, New York. A barista appears to be passing around hot chocolate.
“I’m quite terrified, honestly,” one student says in the video, which was first reported by the College Fix. “It’s saying that people are really given into fear-mongering. They are willing to put people down based on their identity just so that they would feel vindicated that they would be getting rid of ‘Crooked Hillary.’ “

DEMOCRATS IN ANARCHY - WHERE ARE THE FIRE HOSES?
Democrats have been demonstrating. That's fine. Democrats are upset. That's fine. Democrats have been rioting. That's not okay. In fact, it's criminal and should be treated as such. Enough is enough. It might be time to go back to the 1967 riots in Detroit and call in the National Guard AND the fire department. A little fire hose on the crowd would accomplish 2 things. 1. Putting down the rioters. 2. Putting out the fires there are starting.
That many of these rioters are being paid by the Soros team is bad enough. But that they are beating people, burning property and looting businesses is criminal and most often felonious. It's not racist to break the law and it's not racist to enforce it properly.
The eastern shore has been relatively free of violence over the election. I suspect there are a couple of reasons. Firstly, Sheriff Lewis won't be amused by it. Secondly, the people of the eastern shore largely supported Trump and rioting wouldn't amuse the average voter here. It's time for the citizens to take a stand against this nonsense as well.
We've all seen reports of school girls being attacked by Hil-LIARy supporters, a Chicago man being beaten by Hil-LIARy supporters because they assumed he supported Trump though he was wearing no Trump gear or even mentioned it. Yes, there has been some, but far less violence committed by Trump supporters. It's telling how Hil-LIARy supporters on Monday were chanting Love Trumps Hate, and on Tuesday night went to the streets. What? They didn't accept the results of the election? How un-American of them. That is what they said about Trump when he said he might not accept the outcome of the election. The rioters aren't running for president, but Trump had a right to wait until the election was over to decide whether to accept the vote or challenge it.
The argument that Trump lost the popular vote is as lame as a 3-legged mule. If they had bothered to learn the Constitution, which isn't taught or at least properly taught in government classes these days, would have informed them that the only vote that matters is the Electoral College. Their votes essentially are votes for their representatives in the electoral college. The Electoral College voters are in most states bound to vote for the candidate whom the people voted. But the protesters in general are ignorant. They also tend to live in areas that voted for Hil-LIARy. Anyone voting for Hil-LIARy accepts corruption, lies and criminal activity as okay anyway, so this following maps won't surprise you.

Note the Democrat voting areas and the crime rate?
It's time for the Democrats to come home to America and American values. This means not wandering around ill-informed. I'll-informed like the protester on CNN saying she was protesting because her mother and sister living in Louisiana, who are here illegally from Japan, have a "right" to be here. No they don't. No one has the right to commit a crime. No one has the right to be here skating around our immigration laws.
Others said they would lose their health care due to Trump wanting to Repeal and Replace Obamacare. That he would end the clause allowing those with pre-existing conditions to be insured, or children being on their parents insurance until age 26. If they had been in formed and read, listened, watched Trump, they would have seen in his speeches before the convention that he was going to continue that policy. As for the LGBTQ community, he said he would protect their rights from Islamic Terrorism. This implies defending their rights. There are more examples of Hispanics and Blacks and Trump policy and speeches that are different from the lemming reporting of the main stream media and the lies the Democrats told about Trump.
For those who say Trump is not their president.....sorry to inform you, yes he is. Stop committing intellectual suicide and support your new president. Rooting for his failure is like rooting for your heart surgeon to suffer a coronary episode while operating on you.
How do you feel about the protesters who become rioters? If rioting were to occur on Delmarva, what would you do about it? How would you conduct yourself to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States? Please comment below.
