Men Just Received The Best Scientific Advice in History
The Sun’s Andrea Downey has lightened the hearts of millions of men around the planet with her prescription for increasing their life expectancy: stare at boobs.
That’s only one of the six ways men can boost their life expectancy, according to Downey, who makes a compelling argument. Here are the six ways:
1. Stare at boobs.
Downey points out, “Staring at boobs creates a positive mindset in men … A 2012 study, published in the Archives of Internal Medicine, looked at the effects positive thinking had on men’s health. After a year, positive thinking had a powerful effect on health choices.”
Downey notes that over half of the men who had coronary heart disease but thought positively upped their exercise, as opposed to 37% who did not think positively; similar results were found among men with high blood pressure.

The War Between Public Pensioners And Tax Donkeys Is Heating Up
The migration is only beginning, but that's only half the story.
You know it's serious when the newspaper of record finally reports it: A $76,000 Monthly Pension: Why States and Cities Are Short on Cash (New York Times).
It's a long article but the summary is brief: corrupt politicos promised the moon to public employees, and now the fiscal chickens of insolvency are coming home to roost.
Public pension obligations are rising so fast that even repeated tax increases can't keep up.
This is setting up a second front in the war between entitled Baby Boomers and younger taxpayers who pay most of the federal and local taxes. Public pensioners are a subset of the entitled Baby Boomers, but their pensions can't be paid with borrowed money like Social Security and Medicare; public pension obligations come out of local and state taxes, and as those obligations soar then public services must be slashed and taxes jacked up by annual double-digit increases.
So there is a war brewing between public pensioners and the Tax Donkeys: the Unprotected who pay local property taxes on their homes, state and local taxes on their incomes, sales taxes on their purchases, junk fees on local government services, and so on.
Corrupt politicos created the war by over-promising benefits to public employees and ignoring fiscal realities. By the time the bill comes due, the politicos who rubber-stamped the unaffordable promises are themselves gorging at the public-pension retiree trough.
Not every public employee is receiving gold-plated pensions and benefits, of course, but that doesn't negate the reality that nationally, public pensions are increasing faster than government revenues and the returns earned by the pension programs.

DeSantis: IG Probe Of Comey ‘Probably Just The Beginning’
The Department of Justice’s probe of former FBI Director James Comey is “probably just the beginning” of more problems for Comey, Republican Florida Rep. Ron DeSantis said Friday.
At least two memos that Comey leaked to a friend outside the government contained classified information, The Wall Street Journal reported Friday. The DOJ’s inspector general is now investigating Comey’s release of the memos, the Journal reported.
The memos contained Comey’s account of several interactions he had with President Donald Trump while serving as FBI director. Comey leaked the memos’ contents to the media through a friend in order to spur the appointment of a special counsel to oversee the Russia investigation, Comey testified on June 8.
“Referral of Comey due to transmitting classified info was justified and this IG action is probably just the beginning,” DeSantis wrote on Twitter following Friday’s news of the DOJ probe into Comey.

Fifteen Things To Know About ‘Pakistani Mystery Man’ Imran Awan
The “Pakistani Mystery Man” is Imran Awan, who worked as Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s email server administrator in the House of Representatives. Nearly his entire family then joined the payroll of other Democrats, until they worked for 1 in 5 House Democrats and had — as the House inspector general called it — the ‘keys to the kingdom‘ and ability to access any file.
1. Imran worked for Debbie Wasserman Schultz since 2004 and had the passwords to her devices
A search of his name on WikiLeaks shows the DNC summoned Imran when they needed her device unlocked.
2. During the 2016 election, the House’s Office of Inspector General warned that Imran and his family were making “unauthorized access” to data

EXCLUSIVE -- Research: Google Search Manipulation Can Swing Nearly 80 Percent of Undecided Voters
By inserting negative search suggestions under the name of a candidate, search engines like Google can shift the opinions of undecided voters by up to 43.4 percent, according to newresearch by a team at the American Institute for Behavioral Research and Technology and reported exclusively by Breitbart News.
The lead author of the study, Dr. Robert Epstein, has previously conducted research into what he calls the Search Engine Manipulation Effect (SEME). This research showed that the manipulation of results pages in search engines can shift the voting preferences of undecideds by anywhere between 20 and 80 percent, depending on the demographic.

Alan Dershowitz: Trump foes seek to take away his legal rights -- endangering everyone's rights
Many traditional civil libertarians have allowed their intense hatred of President Trump to erase their longstanding commitment to neutral civil liberties and equal justice for all – a dangerous move that threatens the rights of us all.
The anti-Trump forces are now so desperate to get the president convicted of a crime or impeached that they are prepared to compromise the most basic due process rights of the president and people associated with him who are caught up in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s ever-widening Russia probe and a related investigation of the president’s personal attorney, Michael Cohen.

Governor Larry Hogan Signs Landmark Economic Development Legislation
Administration Initiatives Include Economic Incentives for Amazon HQ2 and Dedicated Funding for Metro
ANNAPOLIS, MD – Governor Hogan was today joined by Senate President Thomas V. “Mike” Miller and Speaker of the House Michael Busch to sign into law two pieces of historic legislation passed during the 2018 Maryland General Assembly session, the Promoting ext-Raordinary Innovation in Maryland's Economy, or PRIME Act (SB 877) and the Maryland Metro/Transit Funding Act (SB 277/HB 372). The governor and presiding officers were also joined by Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett, Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) CEO and General Manager Paul Wiedefeld, and numerous other elected officials, stakeholders, and community leaders.
The governor commemorated the occasion by taking a ride on Metro’s Red Line from Bethesda to the Grosvenor-Strathmore station prior to the signing ceremony at The Music Center at Strathmore.
“These two critical pieces of legislation are excellent examples of our administration working in a bipartisan fashion to achieve real results for the people of Maryland,” said Governor Hogan. “Dedicated public transportation funding and the potential economic boom of more than 100,000 new jobs with Amazon HQ2 are vital to Maryland’s advancement.”
The PRIME Act, which the governor introduced following Montgomery County’s selection as one of 20 potential locations for Amazon’s HQ2, provides $3 billion in tax credits and exemptions if and when Amazon locates in Maryland and creates a requisite number of jobs and economic activity. The centerpiece of the financial incentive package would allow the company to retain a portion of wages paid to employees, which would otherwise go toward state income taxes. The entire incentive package is strictly contingent upon Amazon choosing to locate in Maryland and meeting promised job creation targets. The governor’s plan also calls for significant transportation upgrades to the area around the potential site, which will also benefit local businesses and residents.
“This legislation puts Maryland in prime position to attract Amazon’s new headquarters, which would generate more than $17 billion annually to our state economy,” said Governor Hogan. This is the biggest and most substantial economic development opportunity in a generation.”

PUSH COMES TO SHOVE: University Of Minnesota Trying To Force Shapiro Lecture Off-Campus
Elizabeth Warren and Al Franken spoke in the biggest hall, but the university won't allow Shapiro there.
The University of Minnesota has decided to take the pusillanimous route, attempting to force the upcoming lecture from Daily Wire Editor-in-Chief Ben Shapiro away from venues on the main campus in order to avoid demonstrations with leftists that might erupt. Venues that were rejected for Shapiro’s February 26 lecture, part of the David and Marlyce Logan Advancing Freedom Lecture Series for Young America’s Foundation(YAF), include Ted Mann Concert Hall, (capacity 1500), Willey Hall (capacity 800), and Mayo Memorial Auditorium (capacity 450), all located on the main Minneapolis campus.

Having a fat belly DOUBLES the risk of heart attack or stroke
A fat belly is bad for your heart - even in people who are not otherwise overweight, warns a new study.
People whose waist is bigger than their hips may be at twice the risk of a dangerous heart attack and should see their doctor immediately, researchers warn.
The obesity epidemic is widely cited for driving the down life expectancy for two-thirds of Americans.
But the new study from the Mayo Clinic and Czech researchers suggests that you do not have to be overweight for your belly to threaten your heart health.

Trump To "Counter" DNC Lawsuit; Seeks Servers, Clinton Emails And "Pakistani Mystery Man"
President Trump is eager to go head-to-head with the DNC which filed a multimillion-dollar lawsuit on Friday against several parties, including the Russian government, the Trump campaign and the WikiLeaks organization - alleging a "far-reaching conspiracy to disrupt the 2016 campaign and tilt the election to Donald Trump."
Hours after the Washington Post broke the news of the lawsuit, Trump tweeted "Just heard the Campaign was sued by the Obstructionist Democrats. This can be good news in that we will now counter for the DNC server that they refused to give to the FBI," referring to the DNC email breach. Trump also mentioned "the Debbie Wasserman Schultz Servers and Documents held by the Pakistani mystery man and Clinton Emails."

China Assigns Every Citizen A ‘Social Credit Score’
China is rolling out a high-tech plan to give all of its 1.4 billion citizens a personal score, based on how they behave.
But there are consequences if a score gets too low, and for some that’s cause for concern, CBS2’s Ben Tracy reported Tuesday.
When Liu Hu recently tried to book a flight, he was told he was banned from flying because he was on the list of untrustworthy people. Liu is a journalist who was ordered by a court to apologize for a series of tweets he wrote and was then told his apology was insincere.
“I can’t buy property. My child can’t go to a private school,” he said. “You feel you’re being controlled by the list all the time.”

Inflation Is Here.. Get Used To It!
I stopped to grab a burger in Marin County today and was kind of shocked to see the following posted on the front door...
That is a pretty steep starting wage for non-skilled labor, and $5.00 more than the California minimum wage.
In-N-Out does pay their employees well. The private burger chain pays store managers an average yearly salary of more than $160,000 with no college degree or previous management experience required. Facebook engineers soon to be flipping burgers.
Nonbinding
It is clear the minimum wage in California is nonbinding — that is irrelevant — and all the bluster about raising it would cause unemployment is just that, bluster.
During softer economic times, when the minimum wage is binding, the story changes. Not now, however.

Passing It On
Nevertheless, it did feel prices have risen for a burger, fries, and soda since the last time I was in an In-N-Out. I think it cost me around $8.50 today.
Does anyone remember the days of a $.35 Big Mac?

Real Minimum Wage Higher
Here is what is interesting about that $16.00 per hour offer.
In 1980, the minimum wage was $3.10 per hour, which equates to $9.94 in today’s inflation-adjusted dollars. The minimum wage is $11.00 in California, so a slight increase in the real wage.
If In-N-Out is forced to pay almost 50 percent above that to attract decent burger flippers and the company can pass it on in higher prices, inflation cometh is here, folks.
Other firms will have to pay higher wages to keep and attract their workers if In-N-Out is going to start bidding up the labor market.
We are happy for the entry-level workers, high school, and college kids that now have a higher return on their labor. However, that is only half the story.
Many of the lower paid workers are not entry-level.
Some, reemployed from much higher paying jobs, some are seniors who cannot afford retirement.
We suspect, though wages are raging at the lower end, companies are laying off older expensive workers and hiring younger cheaper workers to keep labor costs in check, and is one reason why the official wage numbers are not spiking. We are not certain on this and have to further research it.

Reparations, income handouts, guaranteed jobs: Dems tilt hard left with new pet projects
Free tuition, minimum wage hikes and "Medicare for all" are so 2016.
As Democrats look ahead to the midterms and the 2020 presidential race, lawmakers and candidates are pushing the agenda even further to the left -- with bigger promises of sweeping government welfare programs ranging from guaranteed jobs to universal income.
Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., the standard-bearer for the party's left flank in 2016, once again is helping to lead the charge. He reportedly is set to announce a plan that will guarantee a $15-an-hour job -- and health-care benefits -- to every American “who wants or needs one.” The plan, first reported by The Washington Post, would fund hundreds of government projects such as “infrastructure, care giving, the environment, education and other goals.”
Sanders’ office said they have not yet done a cost estimate or devised how they would pay for the massive government commitment. A spokesman for Sanders did not respond to a request for more details from Fox News.

NBC Bet $69 Million on Megyn Kelly—Then Viewers Vanished
Former Fox News star was supposed to bring ‘Today’ a bigger audience
Megyn Kelly was supposed to bring star power to NBC News and a bigger, broader audience of morning viewers to its “Today” show franchise.
Instead, the three-year, $69 million bet to woo Ms. Kelly from her conservative prime-time perch at Fox News is backfiring.
Since taking over the 9 a.m. hour of the lucrative morning show in September and rebranding it “Megyn Kelly Today,” Ms. Kelly has struggled to make the shift to daytime broadcast television, with its delicate balance of soft features and hard news. Her ratings declines and higher production costs have been a drag on a critical franchise for NBC.
“I need to introduce myself to people who don’t know me or know some bastardized version of me that they’ve gotten from a website or a TV show,” Ms. Kelly said in an interview. “There are definitely some who only know me through some caricature they learned about on ‘The Daily Show.’ ”

Educational Fraud Is Rampant
Earlier this month, the 2017 National Assessment of Educational Progress, aka The Nation’s Report Card, was released. It’s not a pretty story. Only 37 percent of 12th-graders tested proficient or better in reading, and only 25 percent did so in math. Among black students, only 17 percent tested proficient or better in reading, and just 7 percent reached at least a proficient level in math.
The atrocious NAEP performance is only a fraction of the bad news. Nationally, our high school graduation rate is over 80 percent. That means high school diplomas, which attest that these students can read and compute at a 12th-grade level, are conferred when 63 percent are not proficient in reading and 75 percent are not proficient in math. For blacks, the news is worse. Roughly 75 percent of black students received high school diplomas attesting that they could read and compute at the 12th-grade level. However, 83 percent could not read at that level, and 93 percent could not do math at that level. It’s grossly dishonest for the education establishment and politicians to boast about unprecedented graduation rates when the high school diplomas, for the most part, do not represent academic achievement. At best, they certify attendance.

Five Foster Siblings Officially Become Part Of Collins Family
SNOW HILL – Applause erupted amid a sea of smiling faces at the Worcester County courthouse Thursday as a Mardela Springs couple adopted five siblings.
In what was Judge Peggy Kent’s first adoption since being sworn in as a Worcester County Circuit Court judge, Mardela Springs residents Steve and Tina Collins officially welcomed the five children they’ve fostered for the past year into their already large family. When they initially found out that the three brothers of the two little girls they were fostering needed a place to go, they wasted no time in offering up their home.
“How do you choose?” Tina Collins said. “We fell in love with the girls. We felt it was important to keep them all together.”
Steve and Tina Collins, who raised three biological children, always planned to become foster parents when their kids reached adulthood.
“Mainly just because of the stories you hear,” Tina Collins said. “There are so many children in need.”
And so when their youngest child was 18, they went through Worcester County’s certification program to become foster parents. They went on to adopt the first two children they fostered, a brother and sister, before agreeing to foster two more girls early last year. It wasn’t long before the Collins were advised that the girls were part of a group of five siblings. In June of last year, the boys rejoined their sisters in the Collins home.“That’s the amazing part of this story,” said Roberta Baldwin, director of the Worcester County Department of Social Services. “There was a family willing to open their home to all five. There aren’t many families with the ability to do that. It just shows they put the needs of the children first.”

Ted Cruz Puts Zuckerberg On Notice
Republican Sen. Ted Cruz said in a recent interview that Facebook’s power is “truly unprecedented,” and suggested antitrust laws could be used to regulate huge tech companies.
“The scope of the power is truly unprecedented. You think back to the heights of yellow journalism, when publisher William Randolph Hearst controlled much of media and in fact got America into the Spanish-American War,” Ted Cruz said on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Tonight.
“These tech companies have power William Randolph Hearst could never have imagined. The ability, if there’s a view they dislike, simply to silence it so that if you put a post out there, if you put a tweet out there, it simply goes into the void, into oblivion, and no one sees it.”
“Likewise, they have the ability, if there are views they want to promote, to just have everything on your feed be the views they want to promote. That is invidious. It is invisible, and it is profoundly dangerous,” he added.

British Politicians Declare War On Knives
For proof of the expression that “guns don’t kill people, people kill people” look no further than Britain, where families may have to start practicing cutting their dinner with a spoon. This is because Britain’s politicians have now made the absurdly ridiculous move to call for the banning of what Reason magazine called “the most useful tool ever invented” – the knife.
According to Reason, British politicians have “declared war on knives” and are swiftly moving with an attempt to ban them, as gun bans have amazingly failed to stop crime altogether:
According to Reason, British politicians have “declared war on knives” and are swiftly moving with an attempt to ban them, as gun bans have amazingly failed to stop crime altogether:
Having failed to disarm criminals with gun controls that they defy, British politicians are now turning their attention to implementing something new and different: knife control. Because criminals will be much more respectful of knife laws than of those targeted at firearms, I guess.
“No excuses: there is never a reason to carry a knife. Anyone who does will be caught, and they will feel the full force of the law,” London’s Mayor Sadiq Khan tweeted on April 8.
Not to be outdone, his predecessor, Boris Johnson, currently Foreign Secretary, called for increased use of stop-and-search powers by police. “You have got to stop them, you have got to search them and you have got to take the knives out of their possession.”
Poundland (the British equivalent of a dollar store) announced last week that it will no longer sell kitchen knives in any of its 850 stores. Similar stores are being slapped with fines for selling knives to minors.
This latest regulatory insanity get worse:

Incredible Revolutionary War journal surfaces, detailing POW's escape from British prison ship
A young American sailor’s journal detailing his harrowing experiences during the Revolutionary War has been donated to the Museum of the American Revolution in Philadelphia.
Born in Providence, Rhode Island, in 1764, Christopher Hawkins was just 13 years of age when he joined a privateer ship. The practice of privateering, which was widespread during the Revolutionary War, encouraged private U.S. citizens to harass British ships for financial gain.
Captured by British forces, Hawkins languished with other patriots in the infamous HMS Jersey prison ship in New York harbor. More than 11,000 American prisoners died on British prison ships during the war, according to History.com, which notes that the Jersey, dubbed “Hell” by its inmates, was particularly notorious.

West Virginia Dem Candidate Owns Calif. Property Near Pelosi Estate, Sided With Pelosi's Husband in Winery Project Dispute
West Virginia Democratic House candidate Ralph Baxter is running as a "4th generation West Virginian" and "West Virginian jobs creator," but he does not mention on his campaign website that he owns property, worth almost $2 million, in House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi's (D., Calif.) neighborhood in Napa County, California.
Baxter grew up in West Virginia during his early years, but he moved to California with his parents when he was in fifth grade and only lived in West Virginia periodically over the course of the following six decades.
He received his bachelor’s degree from Stanford University in 1968, a master’s degree in education from the Catholic University of America in 1970, and a law degree from the University of Virginia in 1974. After graduating from UVA, he started working at the San Francisco-based law firm Orrick, Herrington and Sutcliffe and ultimately served as the firm's CEO for 23 years until his retirement in 2014. When he served as the CEO, he lived north of the San Francisco office in Napa County.
In 2002, after Baxter was successful in pushing his law firm to open up an office operations center in Wheeling, West Virginia to cut down on administrative costs, the candidate also bought a home in the area, according to Law.com. Baxter, nevertheless, spent most of his time traveling or living in Napa County.

The Great Exodus From America's 'Blue' Cities Accelerates
Am I the only one in my spinning class at Equinox in Manhattan who’s fed up paying $200 every month for a gym with clean showers, $3,000 in rent every month for an apartment without cockroaches and $8 every morning for a cup of coffee? Am I the only one moving through the greater part of New York City boroughs and seeing an inexorable march of urban decay matched with the discomfort of crowding and inexplicable costs? I know I am not.
New York is the most expensive city in America. Its lower-cost neighborhoods are riddled with crime and homelessness. Its public schools, some of which are among the worst in the nation, look more like prisons than places of learning.
With between up to 50 percent of their paycheck going to a combination of federal, local and city taxes, not including other consumer taxes baked into every aspect of their consumer practices, residents don’t even have the comfort of knowing that their tax expenditures are going to the improvement of their lives in the city. New York infamously misuses the hard-earned tax revenues of its citizens in ways that scarcely benefit them.
Eventually, city and state taxes, fees, and regulations become so burdensome that people and corporations jump ship. More people are currently fleeing New York than any other metropolitan area in the nation. More than 1 million people have moved out of New York City since 2010 in search of greener pastures, which amounts to a negative net migration rate of 4.4 percent.

Marc Thiessen: The VA desperately needs a combat medic, not a management guru
WASHINGTON -- As senators consider the nomination of the next secretary of veterans affairs, they should first reflect on the story of an Army veteran named Jason White.
White served our country in Afghanistan, where he was severely injured by an IED explosion. His spine was crushed, and he suffered a traumatic brain injury, but thanks to the skill and training of our nation's brave combat medics, he survived. Yet on his return to the home front, he battled the hidden wounds of war -- insomnia, depression and the effects of post-traumatic stress disorder. He was not alone. Four members of his unit killed themselves after they got home. And after struggling with his mental and physical wounds for five years, White decided to do the same. One day in 2016, he came home, put a pistol to his head and pulled the trigger.
He would be dead today if his gun had not jammed.
His wife rushed him to the local Department of Veterans Affairs clinic in Colorado Springs for emergency psychological intervention. Incredibly, she was told that her husband would have to wait six months to see a therapist. As Jason White told the Gazette in Colorado Springs, "They knew I was suicidal, and still it was six months to talk to someone."

German Jews Advised Not to Wear Kippahs in Big Cities as Assaults Rise
Jews have been advised not to wear their kippah scullcaps in major German cities after another violent assault that targeted a person wearing the traditional Jewish headpiece.
Josef Schuster, the head of Germany’s Central Council of Jews, told broadcaster Radioeins that wearing a kippah is right in principle but increasingly dangerous in practice, so he is advising individuals “against showing themselves openly with a kippah in a big-city setting in Germany, and wear a baseball cap or something else to cover their head instead.”
Schuster added that “our democracy would be at risk” if Germany does not fight anti-Semitism. “This is not only about anti-Semitism — it goes along with racism, it goes along with xenophobia. You need a clear stop sign here.”
The call for Jews to hide signs of their faith follows the assault of Adam Armush, a 21-year-old Israeli Arab who was violently attacked by a 19-year-old Muslim refugee in Berlin capital last Tuesday.

Are There Any Adults Left in Washington, D.C.?
As America approaches her 250th birthday, her instruction manual, the U.S. Constitution, is under assault as never before. The First Amendment is under attack by campus speech police and social media, censoring and deciding which political statements are welcomed and which are verboten. The Second Amendment is threatened by leftist elitists happy to ban guns for the law-abiding as long as they can have armed guards protecting themselves and their families from the criminals who don't give a whit about whatever gun laws the left proposes.
It's not only the Bill of Rights under assault, but also Article Two of the Constitution – specifically, the first section, detailing how a president is elected to a four-year term.
President Donald Trump was lawfully and constitutionally elected to serve as America's 45th president for a term of four years, commencing in January 2017. Unless he is impeached and removed from office, as dictated by the Constitution, for high crimes and misdemeanors, he is entitled to serve through January 2021. If he chooses to seek a second term and the voters re-elect him, he may serve eight years.
This is how our government works: the peaceful transition of power from one president to the next. At least, this is how it is supposed to work and has for the first 44 American presidents.

Two NJ high school students suspended for going to gun range after school
Lacey Township School District in central New Jersey suspended two high school students after Snapchat pictures showed them at a gun range outside of school hours.
Attorney Daniel Schmutter with the Association of New Jersey Rifle and Pistol Clubs said a lawsuit might be pending since the pictures were non-threatening and not alarming in any way. The two students were simply at a gun range after school hours.
Schmutter indicated in a letter to Lacey Township School District that suspending the two students for posting photos off school grounds and unrelated to school activities was a “very serious violation” of the their rights, according to Patch.com.

WATCH: ReasonTV’s Stossel Talks With Texas School Official Who Created Voluntary ‘Armed Teachers’ Program
On Tuesday, ReasonTV uploaded a new video featuring John Stossel. The topic of the video was “armed teachers.”
What can be done about school shootings? Some say kids will be safer if some teachers carry guns. President Trump said that ... Trump was mocked for suggesting teachers have guns ... but Trump's critics probably don't even know that many teachers have brought guns to school for years. In Texas, teachers carry in about 200 schools. This high school advertises that.
At Keene Independent School District (ISD), the parents interviewed by Stossel appear to like the armed teachers program created by Superintendent Ricky Stephens.

City of Salisbury Employee Sarah Rayne Aiding & Cheating The System
Remember the alleged "phone spoof" with Sarah Rayne? She was fired from the Daily Times and then REWARDED by then Mayor Jim Ireton with a cush job for the City of Salisbury. How convenient.
The above images tell the whole story. It's up to YOU to decide, are all parties breaking the law? Clearly LIBERALS like Sarah believe they are above the law.
Maybe these millennials need to THINK before they decide to have children and what they can or can't afford. Then again, WHY, when they can just rely on you and me taxpayers to food their expenses. Salisbury Maryland should be ashamed at the above images and story.
Shock: Admitted MS-13 illegals placed around the country
Loopholes in immigration laws being squeezed by the Trump administration but embraced by the Obama administration have allowed youthful illegal immigrants who self-identified as MS-13 gangbangers to be placed around the country instead of sent home, according to newly released documents.
Unlike illegal criminals who avoided border security, those cited by Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Chairman Sen. Ron Johnson in a letter to a key immigration agency were initially held by the Obama administration then put in placement centers throughout the nation and eventually with “sponsors” despite their gang ties.
Among them were 16 “admitted juvenile gang members” who defaced a Customs and Border Protection facility in Nogales, Ariz., with MS-13 graffiti, according to documents referenced by Johnson, a Senate leader in tightening illegal immigration.

Miami's Solution to Teachers' Housing Problems: Let Them Live at School
Miami is taking the trend of teacher housing one step further than other places. But do teachers want to live where they work -- even if it means cheaper rent?
Teacher strikes have lit up red states over the last month as educators reach their breaking point with stagnant wages and inadequate education funding.
But teachers struggle to make ends meet all over the country.
On average, teachers make just 60 percent of what similarly educated professionals are paid, according to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. In some of the most expensive cities, they struggle to put a roof over their heads.
In a 2017 Apartment List analysis, San Francisco was the worst offender: Fifth-year teachers in the city have to spend nearly 70 percent of their income -- almost three times the recommended amount -- to rent a one-bedroom apartment. Miami, New York and Seattle all closely follow San Francisco on the list.
In Miami, where the average teacher spends 50 percent of their income on rent, local officials are proposing a novel solution: Let teachers live at school.

James Comey Creates Deeper Legal Jeopardy With CNN Townhall Answer
FBI Director James Comey appears on CNN tonight and digs himself deeper into legal jeopardy
Remember as you watch this answer, on March 20th, 2017, while still officially FBI Director, Comey testified to congress a counterintelligence investigation into the Trump campaign began in July 2016.
In an effort to attempt to obfuscate his current legal and professional malfeasance in leaking information, via his leaks to the media, Comey insists he did nothing wrong. However, Comey also states that it would be a violation to leak “information about an ongoing investigation.”
As Comey describes his leaking of his notes from a conversation with President-elect Trump, he conveniently avoids the contradicting fact that President Trump was a person within the investigation the FBI was conducting.

The Opioid Crisis' Side Effect That Anyone Can Feel: Dirty Needles
Dirty needles left behind by drug users have become so prevalent in parks that some public health agencies are leaning on citizens to clean them up.
Dirty needles littering public parks may sound like a relic of 1980s drug use and urban decay. But as America's opioid crisis has worsened in recent years, governments are once again confronted with the problem. This time, however, the issue isn't confined to big cities.
"It's a visible reminder of what we're facing," says Jessica Grondin, who works in the city manager's office in Portland, Maine.
Coming into contact with used needles left behind by drug users presents a public health hazard. It exposes people to illicit substances like heroin and fentanyl, and could put them at risk of contracting blood-borne illnesses like hepatitis C and HIV.

Here's What Bill Clinton Accuser Broaddrick Tweeted On 40th Anniversary Of Alleged Rape
On Wednesday April 25th, the 40th anniversary of the day she says Bill Clinton "forcibly brutally" raped her, Juanita Broaddrick tweeted out a timeline of the alleged incident.
After the rise of the #MeToo movement, some on the Left have expressed some regret for having turned a deaf ear to Clinton's accusers for decades — though mostly as a way of defending their attacks on Donald Trump for less egregious alleged offenses. One of the most vocal of Clinton's accusers is Broaddrick, who has been shouting from the rooftops for years that Clinton raped her and Hillary attempted to silence her, accusations the media has largely ignored. In January, Broaddrickpointed out that she still hasn't heard her name mentioned by the likes of Oprah. It's up to her, she's accepted, to tell her story, and she's vowed to "never" stop telling the world how "evil" the Clintons are.

Churches Can't Use Taxpayer Dollars, Rules New Jersey Supreme Court
A New Jersey Supreme Court ruling on Wednesday found the use of taxpayer dollars to restore historic churches unconstitutional — and preservationists in North Jersey say the decision could strike a blow in communities where historic churches exist.
The court ruled that Morris County's long-standing practice of giving taxpayer-funded historic preservation grants to churches, totaling $4.6 million in public aid, violated the New Jersey Constitution. The ruling reversed a lower court decision and precludes churches from benefiting from the grant program.
It means churches in New Jersey will now have to look elsewhere for funding to restore or repair buildings.

Opioid Crisis Cost Washington State $9 Billion in 2016
A new study released as a prelude to Sen. Patty Murray's legislative effort to contain the opioid epidemic estimates the financial impacts of overdose deaths alone have cost Washington state $34 billion over the four years ending in 2016.
The study from the U.S. Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee pegs the cost of the opioid crisis to Washington residents at $9.19 billion in 2016, with roughly $7 billion of those costs attributed to the financial impacts of overdose deaths.

Thomas Gallatin: SCOTUS Appears to Lean Trump's Way on Travel Ban
The justices grilled the travel ban's opponents over their charge that it is unconstitutional.
On Wednesday, the Supreme Court heard oral arguments in President Donald Trump v. Hawaii, the case regarding his travel ban. By most indications, it appeared to go well for Trump, unlike in lower courts, which mendaciously struck it down. The case against the travel ban presented by Neal Katyal, the attorney representing Hawaii, rested on the dishonest argument that Trump intended it as a ban against Muslims, making it unconstitutional. The High Court’s conservative justices saw through the charade.
Solicitor General Noel Francisco, representing the Trump administration, astutely noted that of the eight countries barred under the travel ban, only six of them are Muslim-majority nations. In fact, he said, “The vast majority of the world, including the vast majority of the Muslim world,” was not included in the ban. Francisco added, “It would be the most ineffective Muslim ban that one could possibly imagine, since not only does it exclude the vast majority of the Muslim world, it also omits three Muslim-majority countries that were covered by past orders.”
Justice Samuel Alito appeared to agree with Francisco and pointed out that Trump’s executive order affected only 8% of the world’s Muslim population. “If you look at what was done,” Alito said, “it does not look at all like a Muslim ban.”

Illegal immigrant cop killer again booted from court over profane outburst before receiving death penalty
An illegal immigrant cop killer, who made headlines when he burst into laughter in court and said he regretted not killing more people, was sentenced to death Wednesday for the 2014 murder of a California sheriff’s deputy and detective -- but not before he was again booted from the courtroom for an outburst.
The convicted killer, Luis Bracamontes, shouted a racial slur at motorist Anthony Holmes, whom he shot five times during his rampage four years ago, and used profane language toward former Placer County Deputy Chuck Bardo during the hearing, The Sacramento Bee reported.
