Flashback: It's Time to Admit The '9/11 Truthers' Were Right
Saudi cover-up proves US government complicit in 9/11 terror attacks
Among the numerous views held by those espousing “9/11 truth,” one central idea remains the same: The United States government is complicit in the September 11, 2001 terror attacks.
An article in the New York Post this week, boldly titled “How US covered up Saudi role in 9/11,” details how the highest levels of the US government not only helped conceal Saudi involvement but assisted the perpetrators in escaping the country.
“The kingdom’s involvement was deliberately covered up at the highest levels of our government. And the coverup goes beyond locking up 28 pages of the Saudi report in a vault in the US Capitol basement,” Paul Sperry writes. “Investigations were throttled. Co-conspirators were let off the hook.”
Everyone from Join Terrorism Task Force members to FBI agents and Virginia law enforcement say that despite evidence leading to the Saudi Embassy in Washington, investigations were derailed repeatedly by higher ups.
“Those sources say the pages missing from the 9/11 congressional inquiry report — which comprise the entire final chapter dealing with ‘foreign support for the September 11 hijackers’ — details ‘incontrovertible evidence’ gathered from both CIA and FBI case files of official Saudi assistance for at least two of the Saudi hijackers who settled in San Diego.”

Analysis: Solar Subsidies Aren't Leading To More Solar Power
America isn’t even close to getting enough energy from wind and solar power to the levels Democrats say are required despite extremely lucrative subsidies, according to an analysis of 2014 data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) conducted by The Daily Caller News Foundation.
A draft of the Democratic Party’s proposed platform for this year’s election would require every state get 50 percent of its electricity from “clean sources” by 2020 and 100 percent by 2050. Though the platform never defines what constitutes a “clean” source, wind and solar energy are the only “clean” sources that can significantly expand.

Everyone should experience this enchanting place at least once, and here’s why…
What was once a normal-looking stone house in the 1840s was later purchased by a successful entrepreneur. He decided to turn the house into a castle and modeled it after Craig Castle in Scotland. He continued to live in the grand structure until the Great Depression.

Creative Disruption Enhances Leadership Performance
Creative Disruption has long been used in the marketing world to break existing patterns of behavior of a target audience. Smart CEO’s are using this technique to change the pattern of behavior in their leaders.
National business consultant Lorraine Grubbs along with CEO Frank Granara of Boston based General Insulation recently used creative disruption to address lack of honest communication among their high potential team.
This team consists of 10 individuals selected to participate in the company’s high potential program. They had been together through four development sessions and, as expected, some individuals embraced this opportunity to learn while some members were not giving it their all. Although the higher performing team members knew, nothing was being done among the team members to encourage the lower performing members to step up their game.
Lorraine and Frank gathered the team together and introduced a creative disruption technique based upon the TV reality show “Survivor”. Each member of the team was asked to submit the name of an individual who they thought had contributed the least and asked to explain why. Not surprisingly, out of the 10 team members, three people were “voted off”. The team now validated these three individuals, previously identified by Frank and Lorraine.
After collecting the names, the team was asked to call the individual they had voted off to tell them why. The intent was to not only have them identify the weakest link, but further, to have them communicate honestly with the person and finally to come up with a way to help them improve their performance.
In the training world, we say, “People can’t argue with their own evidence”. This was a great way to teach these leaders how to conduct difficult conversations while addressing individuals’ vulnerabilities.
Although no one was eliminated, it was a tough exercise for all participants. Ultimately this creative disruption technique taught a critical leadership lesson – honest communication.
How can you utilize Creative Disruption techniques to enhance communication among your leadership team? No one likes to have difficult conversations, and this exercise proved its value in the elevation of the team’s trust in one another.

Court Denies Tax Petition Appeal
OCEAN CITY — There was some measure of closure this week in a case seeking a “roll back” of Ocean City’s property tax rates to 2009 levels when Maryland’s highest court on Wednesday denied what will likely be a final appeal attempt.
Last June, a group operating under the guise of the Ocean City Taxpayers for Social Justice (OCTSJ) submitted to the Mayor and Council a petition containing nearly 1,500 signatures essentially seeking a return of the property tax rate from the current 48 cents per $100 of assessed value to 38 cents, or the rate at which it was set in 2009. The petition sought a referendum within 90 days of its filing, or the next scheduled election, which would have been the general election this November.
The town then filed a petition for declaratory judgment against the OCTSJ and petition organizer Tony Christ in Worcester County Circuit Court, seeking a judicial review of the validity of the petition and its attempts to launch a referendum on the tax rollback effort.
Anticipating the town’s move, Christ along with three other named plaintiffs including John Medlin, Herb Pawlukewicz and former Ocean City Councilman filed a complaint in federal court seeking a habeas corpus hearing in U.S. District Court.

Six Refugees in Wisconsin Diagnosed with Multi-Drug Resistant TB Since 2014
Six refugees in Wisconsin were diagnosed with multi-drug resistant (MDR) tuberculosis (TB) in 2014 and 2015, according to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
As Breitbart News reported previously, twenty-one additional refugees in Wisconsin were diagnosed with active TB during the same time period, making the Badger State the refugee TB capital of the country, at least among the handful of states that have so far reported that data.
Other states that have reported active TB among refugees include Louisiana (21), Vermont (17), Colorado (16), Florida (11), Kentucky (9 in one county), Idaho (7), Indiana (4), and North Dakota (4 in one county). Breitbart News is still awaiting refugee active TB data from the remaining 41 states.

Berlin Officially Supports Habitat’s Mixed-Use Project
BERLIN – Town officials offered their support to a downtown mixed use project planned by Habitat for Humanity of Worcester County.
On Monday, the Berlin Town Council agreed to give Habitat for Humanity a letter of support for the building it has planned for 21 Jefferson St. as the organization begins to seek grants for the project.
“We need to be able to show the state the town is supportive of the project and the project is aligned with the town’s goals,” said Andrea Bowland, executive director of Habitat for Humanity of Worcester County.
Bowland told the council her organization planned to purchase the early 20th century home at 21 Jefferson St. and demolish it to erect a mixed use building on the site. The home, though historic, is in poor condition. The new building would include retail space on the ground floor with apartments above. Habitat for Humanity would retain ownership of the retail space, leasing it to generate income for the organization, while the apartments would be sold.
Bowland says ideally, the retail space would be leased to artists.

Second Alton Sterling Video Vindicates Cops
A second Alton Sterling shooting video has surfaced, and this video destroys just about every Black Lives Matter lie on the incident. The video was taken by Sterling’s friend, Abdul Muflahi. A lot of the copies of this video have been repeatedly compressed and reformatted, and are of very low quality. Some of the videos are of a high quality, except the hosts intentionally blurred out details around the shooting; details which would support the officers. We sought out the highest quality video we could find that isn’t blurred out, and it’s hosted by USA Today:

Ghostly image captured in fatal accident photo
When people encounter tragedies, either in their own lives or the lives of others, they often try to make sense of it all.
Many people think a Kentucky man captured a supernatural moment when he took a picture of a fatal motorcycle crash earlier this week.
Saul Vazquez said his father snapped the accident scene as he passed by it Tuesday afternoon from the cab of his truck.

San Francisco Bans Packing Peanuts, Coffee Cups and Other Foam Products
The San Francisco Board of Supervisors on Tuesday unanimously voted to outlaw a host of commonly used foam products, in a move hailed as the nation’s most extensive such ban.
The ban applies to polystyrene food packaging, packing peanuts, to-go containers, coffee cups and pool toys, among other things. For most products, the ban will take effect Jan. 1, 2017. For meat and fish trays, it becomes effective July 1, 2017. The bill’s sponsors argued that such foam products, which are not biodegradable, pollute waterways and can harm animal life. They touted the ban as an example of the city’s leadership on environmental issues.
While the products included in the San Francisco ban are often colloquially referred to as “Styrofoam,” the ban does not apply to trademarked Styrofoam products, which are used for insulation and construction materials and some craft products.
Similar bans have become more common, but controversial, in cities across the U.S. New York City briefly implemented a ban last year, arguing that polystyrene products cause environmental harm and contribute to waste. But the ban was overturned a few months later in favor of a plan to ensure the products could be recycled, the New York Times reports.

Peace vigils held at St. Peter’s all next week
Recognizing the need for societal reflection after numerous killings of civilians and police officers, St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 103rd Street, held peace vigils this week and will continue the attempt to heal and reflect next week.
St. Peter’s Pastor Gregg Knepp said the half hour service begins at 10 a.m. next Monday to Friday.
“As a result of the recent tragedies between the killings of the Dallas police officers, and also the African-American motorists by police, we wanted to do something that called attention to our need for reconciliation in the world,” he said.
“The church, I think, has a role to play in bringing together people in such a way that we can talk together and pray together and discuss issues of common concern.”
Historically, Knepp said the church has held vigils to bring attention to societal concerns.
“Thinking about how we as Christians, what’s our responsibility in all of this,” he said. “The reality is there’s a lot of division in our country today.”

Hillary Clinton Blames Whites, Cops for Deaths of Young Black Men
Hillary Clinton used a CNN interview on Friday to completely embrace the Democrats’ claim that white people and cops must change to help reduce the number of African-Americans killed in tense exchanges with cops.
“I will call for white people, like myself, to put ourselves in the shoes of those African-American families who fear every time their children go somewhere, who have to have ‘The Talk,’ about, you now, how to really protect themselves [from police], when they’re the ones who should be expecting protection from encounters with police,” Clinton told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer.
“I’m going to be talking to white people, we’re the ones who have to start listening to the legitimate cries coming from our African-American fellow citizens,” she said.

Obama Refuses Request To Honor Dallas’ Fallen Heroes
Texas Governor’s Mansion lit blue for 5 nights in honor of our fallen officers. |
Jon Adler, president of the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association, said in a statement that the group appreciated the president’s order that flags to be flown at half-staff; however, he asked President Obama to show his full respect for those who made the ultimate sacrifice by displaying law enforcement’s “Thin Blue Line” at the White House. Adler said this act would go further to show Obama’s commitment to law enforcement than his “scripted words.”
Although the White House has been illuminated for occasions such as Breast Cancer Awareness (pink) and the Supreme Court’s legalization of same-sex marriages (rainbow), Obama refused Adler’s request.

Balancing Education, Enforcement For Compliance
An education phase is oftentimes required when major changes, such as the smoking ban on the Boardwalk, are enacted, but levying a serious consequence when those changes are not adhered to is equally important.
That’s the case in Ocean City with the outright smoking ban on the Boardwalk and the law to smoke in designated areas on the beach. In some cases, visitors are unaware smoking is no longer allowed on the boards and are oblivious to any sort of changes on the beach, despite signage and a visible receptacle. They come to Ocean City once or twice a year, enjoy it and don’t pay attention to what happens here the other 50 weeks of the year. While on vacation, they also are not paying attention to signs and other efforts to inform them of recent changes.
Although they face an uphill battle, given the sheer volume of new visitors to Ocean City every day, education and outreach followed by enforcement must continue to be a major part of the effort to reduce smoking on the beach and prohibit it on the Boardwalk.
This is a difficult job the Ocean City Police Department faces because officers have to determine whether the violators are knowingly breaking the law or lying when they maintain they are uninformed. There has to come a time when enough is enough with blatant violators. Unfortunately, a case-by-case approach is the best bet.

"The Resentment Will Explode" - In Dramatic Twist, McKinsey Slams Globalization
The IMF is getting nervous, and what it appears to be most concerned about, is a collapse of the status quo.
Moments ago, in a speech in Washington, IMF head Christine Lagarde said that "The greatest challenge we face today is the risk of the world turning its back on global cooperation—the cooperation which has served us all well. We know that globalization - and increased integration - over the past generation has yielded many economic benefits for many people."
The IMF is not alone: for years, consultancy giant McKinsey towed the party line as well saying in 2010 that "the core drivers of globalization are alive and well" and adding as recently as 2014 that "to be unconnected is to fall behind."
That appears have changing, and cracks are starting to form behind the cohesive push for globalization, at least among those who benefit the most from globalization.
In a stunning study released today, one which effectively refutes all its prior conclusions on the matter, McKinsey slams the establishment's status quo thinking and admits that the economic gains of changes in the global economy have not been widely shared lately, especially in the developed world. In the report titled "Poorer Than Their Parents? Flat or Falling Incomes in Advanced Economies" it finds that prospects for income growth have deteriorated significantly since the financial crisis, and that the benefits from globalization are now over:
This overwhelmingly positive income trend has ended. A new McKinsey Global Institute report, Poorer than their parents? Flat or falling incomes in advanced economies, finds that between 2005 and 2014, real incomes in those same advanced economies were flat or fell for 65 to 70 percent of households, or more than 540 million people (exhibit). And while government transfers and lower tax rates mitigated some of the impact, up to a quarter of all households still saw disposable income stall or fall in that decade.

Q&A With George Tunis: Hardwire Founder Talks About How Company ‘Global In Reach’ Aims To Enhance Human Survivability
POCOMOKE — When Hardwire LLC founder George Tunis watches tragic events on the evening news, his hearts sinks like everyone else’s, but his mind goes right to work. Horrific events in our often violent world have inspired Tunis to develop products that have saved countless lives and may end up saving countless more. Hardwire’s massive manufacturing facility sits on the banks of the Pocomoke River in southern Worcester County and is the home base for the growing defense company that creates armor for everything from the military Hum-V’s on the front lines of war in the Middle East to the bulletproof whiteboards found in classrooms all over the globe.
Yet, for a guy who spends a lot of time dealing with classified information and projects, Tunis opened up to The Dispatch in a rare sit down about how homegrown innovation could help put a stop to some of the senseless violence we see in our world.
Q: Much has been said about the fact that a company like yours has become a staple of the southern end of Worcester County (in Pocomoke). Hardwire is making products that impact people’s lives all over the world, but you are based here. But when you are making products that people want globally, I know there’s a lot of travel involved. Tell me about your past few weeks.

Judicial Watch chief: Slowly but surely, the Clinton email cover up is unraveling
It is no surprise that neither Hillary Clinton nor the Obama State Department agrees with our request to depose Mrs. Clinton concerning her exclusive use of her non-state.gov email account to house and send tens of thousands of official emails throughout her entire tenure as secretary of state.
What is notable is that the State Department finally admits that Clinton’s practice of supposedly emailing other State officials using her non-state.gov account was not an “appropriate method of preserving federal records or making them available for searches under FOIA.”
Second, it is both significant and disturbing that Hillary Clinton now asserts a private “claim of right” over her non-state.gov email account, including any of the 55,000 pages of federal records she returned to the State Department. She further claims that these and other emails, including emails that may have contained classified information, have “never been the property of or in the possession or control of the State Department.”
Also important is the difference between the State Department’s and Mrs. Clinton’s most fundamental claims as to why neither agency staff nor Mrs. Clinton should testify.

High-Tech Solar Road Surface to Be Tested on Historic Highway
A new type of high-tech pavement is being tested on one of the nation's historic roads in Missouri.
Called Solar Roadways, the system involves hexagonal blocks of roughly 4.4 square feet. Made of a special type of glass, they fit together, have traction like that of conventional pavement, and are solar panels that absorb sunlight. That solar energy is turned into electricity.
According to NBC News, the panels also feature LED lights that can be turned on and off to act as lane markers. There's also a heating element, which will help keep the buildup of ice and snow down.

A July 1 letter sent by a senior deputy to FBI Director James Comey to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, detailed the restrictions on agents. The letter, reviewed by Fox News, confirmed agents signed a "Case Briefing Acknowledgement" which says the disclosure of information is "strictly prohibited" without prior approval, and those who sign are subject to lie detector tests.
"The purpose of this form is to maintain an official record of persons knowledgeable of a highly sensitive Federal Bureau of Investigation counterintelligence investigation," the agreement attached to the Grassley letter reads, "....I (FBI agent) also understand that, due to the nature and sensitivity of this investigation, compliance with these restrictions may be subject to verification by polygraph examination."
The measures show the extent to which the bureau has gone to keep additional details of the politically sensitive case from going public. While Comey has provided some information on why the FBI did not opt to pursue charges, Attorney General Loretta Lynch repeatedly ducked questions on specifics of the case at a House hearing Tuesday.
A recently retired FBI agent, who declined to speak on the record, citing the sensitivity of the matter, said a "Case Briefing Acknowledgement" is reserved for "the most sensitive of sensitive cases," and can have a "chilling effect" on agents, who understand "it comes from the very top and that there has to be a tight lid on the case."
The former agent said the agreements can also contribute to "group think" because investigators cannot bounce ideas off other agents, only those within a small circle.

US Missile Defenses Against Rogue Attacks Called 'a Disaster'
The missile defense system being devised to counter attacks from rogue states like North Korea is "a disaster," say scientists who advocated the project, and it has no proven capability to protect the United States, reported Reuters.
The ground-based midcourse missile defense system, which has deployed 30 interceptors in Alaska and California, has been tested under highly scripted conditions only nine times since being deployed in 2004, and failed to destroy its target two-thirds of the time, the Union of Concerned Scientists said in a report on Thursday.
"After nearly 15 years of effort to build the GMD homeland missile defense system, it still has no demonstrated real-world capability to defend the United States," said Laura Grego, a UCS physicist who co-authored the report.
Deficiencies in the program, which has cost $40 billion so far and is being expanded to include 44 interceptors by 2017, are due largely to a Bush administration decision to exempt the system from normal oversight and accountability, to rush it into service by 2004, Grego said in an interview.
"Instead of getting something out to the field that worked well or worked adequately, in fact this has been a disaster. It's done the opposite," she said.
The Obama administration's efforts to improve oversight while keeping the system outside the normal development and procurement process have contributed to the problems, she said.

28 Pages Suggest Huma-Connected Group Funded Terrorism
The declassified “28 Pages” released by Congress Friday afternoon concerning 9/11, terror funding, and Saudi Arabia contains a bombshell piece of information: The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) is specifically named as having connections to terror funding and support for a number of worldwide terror groups.
As Breitbart News has reported exclusively, the “Abedin family business” is an academic group called the Institute for Muslim Minority Affairs that is based in the London offices of the World Assembly of Muslim Youth and its parent organization, the Muslim World League.
Huma Abedin, born in the United States but raised in Saudi Arabia, has worked closely with Hillary Clinton since 1996 and is now Hillary Clinton’s closest aide and the vice-chairwoman of her presidential campaign. Abedin, who is married to disgraced former Congressman Anthony Weiner, is also at the heart of the Clinton email scandal.

Sexual Solicitation Of A Minor Arrest
OCEAN CITY — An Ocean City man faces sexual solicitation of a minor charges this week after allegedly reaching out to his ex-fiance’s 14-year-old daughter to move to the resort with him and begin a sexual relationship.
The adult female victim told Ocean City police she and her 14-year-old daughter were set to move to the resort to live with her fiancé, identified as Edward Orefice, Jr., 37, until the couple broke off their engagement in June. A short time later, the adult female’s juvenile daughter told her she wanted to move to California and live with her friend, according to police reports. When asked how she intended to get to California, the juvenile reportedly told her mother she had $18 for a bus ticket.
The adult female knew a bus ticket from Baltimore County to Ocean City cost $18 because she had recently made the trip and began to become suspicious of her juvenile daughter’s real intentions and that she was secretly communicating with Orefice. Based on that suspicion, the adult female began looking at her daughter’s cell phone. When the daughter learned her mother was reviewing her cell phone, she ran away, but was located a short time later by Baltimore County Police.

Another Bad Week for Terry McAuliffe’s Felon Voting Order
With less than a week left until the Virginia Supreme Court takes up the legal challenge to Gov. Terry McAuliffe’s executive action that gave 206,000 felons their voting rights, damning revelations about the people who had their rights restored and the nature in which the action was carried out continue to pile up.
The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports that two fugitive sex offenders who have been convicted of violent acts toward minors were among the felons included in McAuliffe’s executive action.
James A. Hyams, 42, was convicted in Kentucky for raping a minor in 2000. Hyams was released but violated his parole in Virginia by committing grand larceny in 2012. He pleaded guilty to the charge but fled the state and was locked up in a New York prison. Vashawn L. Gray, 30, was convicted in Virginia for aggravated sexual battery of a minor in 2004 and has failed to register as a sex offender. His “whereabouts are unknown,” according to his probation officer.
Both men are listed as “wanted” by the state sex offender registry, yet both also appear on the long list of felons who not only had their voting rights restored, but also their rights to serve on a jury, hold public office, and petition to have their gun rights restored.

Liberals More Likely to Cry Than Conservatives
Conservatives are more interested in the outdoors and the gun range while liberals prefer “museums, yoga, and crying,” according to a new study by the online dating website OkCupid.
OkCupid used data from nearly 200,000 profiles for its Words and Politics analysis, which also found that liberals looking for love are vegetarians and conservatives like steak.
“Whether we’re aware of it or not, our political beliefs influence how we advertise ourselves romantically,” the dating site wrote on its “Deep End” blog. “To dig into this, we looked at words used on tens of thousands of OkCupid profiles to see which ones best distinguish liberals and conservatives, and then compared those words to OkCupid match questions.”
For users who said they are “actively seeking love” the divide between conservatives and liberals was stark.
“Like the outdoors or going to the shooting range? So do a majority of conservatives interested in love,” OkCupid said. “Liberals looking for love prefer museums, yoga, and crying.”
The analysis also found liberals tend to list “The Daily Show, Broad City, NPR, podcasts, and weed” on their profiles, while conservatives mention “Jesus, faith, guns, and Marines.”

Alton Sterling Affidavit: He Was Reaching for Pocket Gun When Shot
Alton Sterling, the Louisiana man who was killed during a police confrontation, was reaching for his gun when he was shot, Baton Rouge police said in an affidavit filed July 5.
ABC News reported Tuesday that the affidavit was part of a search warrant for the surveillance camera at the convenience store where the incident took place. The affidavit reportedly states that "while the officers were attempting to subdue" Sterling, they "observed the butt of a gun in the subject's front pants pocket."
"When the subject attempted to reach for the gun from his pocket the officers fired their police-issued duty weapon at the subject to stop the threat," the affidavit continued.

Health Problems Have Worsened for Obese
Obese adults in the U.S. have worse heart health and a higher risk of type 2 diabetes today than in the late 1980s, a new study suggests.
"For those who are obese and have (high) blood sugar or are just obese, they should try a more intense approach to control their weight and blood sugar levels so that they have a lower risk of cardiovascular outcomes," said Dr. Fangjian Guo, the study's lead author from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
As reported in the Journal of the American Heart Association, the researchers used data collected from 18,626 obese adults between 1988 and 2014 through the annual National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey.
Overall, the researchers saw decreases in blood pressure and cholesterol levels during that time. However, they found increases in hemoglobin A1c, which reflects blood sugar level over the past several months. Higher levels of A1c suggest worse blood sugar control and possibly diabetes.
Over the course of the study, the proportion of people with no risk factors for heart disease - no high blood pressure, no high cholesterol and normal blood glucose control - remained steady at about 15 percent.

Dem Rep Corrine Brown’s Legal Defense Fund Accepted Contributions From Lobbyists
Ethics rules prohibit contributions solicited by Brown’s chief of staff
Rep. Corrine Brown’s (D., Fla.) legal defense fund accepted thousands of dollars in contributions from registered lobbyists, which is prohibited by House ethics rules.
Brown and her chief of staff, Elias “Ronnie” Simmons, were indicted last week on 24 counts of fraud stemming from a sham foundation established by the congresswoman.
More than $800,000 was deposited into One Door for Education, Brown’s Virginia-based organization, over the course of four years. Only two checks totaling $1,200 went to charitable activities, according to the Justice Department indictment.
Federal authorities found that the money was used for the personal benefit of Brown, Simmons, and Carla Wiley, the foundation’s president. Wiley pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud in early March. The trio used $200,000 worth of funds to purchase goods and services like NFL tickets, plane tickets, luxury vacations and car repairs, and to throw lavish events.

Obama Pressures Police Leaders To Negotiate With 30 of His Radical Allies
President Barack Obama pressured a few police leaders to attend a closed-door White House meeting with roughly 30 of his radical left-wing allies, where he pushed for federal rules to govern the nation’s 18,000 police districts.
In his comments to reporters after the Wednesday meeting, Obama repeated his suggestion that white racism caused the shooting murder of five White or Hispanic police officers in Dallas, and he showed reporters that he’s fully supporting the radical activists’ campaign against the nation’s police leaders.
“I do not want to gloss over the fact that not only are there very real problems but there are still deep divisions about how to solve these problems,” he told the media. “There’s no doubt that police departments still feel embattled and unjustly accused … there is no doubt that minority communities, communities of color still feel like it just takes too long to do what’s right.”
Obama also claimed that racism explains why young black men are more likely to get shot in disputes with cops than are young white men. “The roots of the problems we saw this week date back not just decades, date back centuries. There are cultural issues, and there are issues of race in this country, and poverty, and a whole range of problems that will not be solved overnight,” he claimed, despite the growing mass of evidence that young black men are less likely to get shot by cops than are white men.
Obama’s claim of racism echoes the incendiary statements he made in Dallas to the families of the dead cops..

French Government Forced To Admit It "Suppressed News Of Gruesome Torture" At Bataclan Massacre
A French government committee has heard testimony, suppressed by the French government at the time and not published online until this week, that the killers in the Bataclan appear to have tortured their victims on the second floor of the club.
The chief police witness in Parliament testified that on the night of the attacks, an investigating officer, tears streaming down his face, rushed out of the Bataclan and vomited in front of him just after seeing the disfigured bodies.
The 14-hour testimony about the November attacks took place March 21st.
According to this testimony, Wahhabist killers reportedly gouged out eyes, castrated victims, and shoved their testicles in their mouths. They may also have disemboweled some poor souls. Women were reportedly stabbed in the genitals – and the torture was, victims told police, filmed for Daesh or Islamic State propaganda. For that reason, medics did not release the bodies of torture victims to the families, investigators said.
But prosecutors at the hearing claimed these reports of torture were “a rumor” on the grounds that sharp knives were not found at the scene. They also claimed that maybe shrapnel had caused the injuries.
Q. For the information of the Commission of Inquiry….can you tell us how you learned that there had been acts of barbarism within the Bataclan: beheadings, evisceration, eyes gouged out …?
Investigator: After the assault, we were with colleagues at the passage Saint-Pierre Amelot when I saw weeping from one of our colleagues who came outside to vomit. He told us what he had seen.
Q. Acts of torture happened on the second floor?

Tracing Mexican Meth to the Dallas Cop Killer
In all likelihood, Dallas police killer Micah Johnson was an amphetamine addict. On July 9, quoting Dallas police sources, Fox reported that meth had been found in a search of the home he shared with his mother. As Fox further noted, the effects of the C-4 explosion were such that we will never know with 100 percent certainty that he was on meth at the time of the killings but his behavior tracks with someone on meth.
Dallas Police Chief David Brown has said that Johnson was “delusional,” laughing, singing and scrawling cryptic messages on the wall in his own blood while he traded shots with police. In 2014 the National Institutes of Health published a useful paper, “Methamphetamine Alters Brain Structures, Impairs Mental Flexibility,” which notes that “methamphetamine alters brain structures involved in decision-making,” but any experienced law enforcement officer can tell you that. Johnson certainly fit the profile of a meth user.
So, if Johnson was a meth addict, who supplied him with dope?
On these pages in December 2015, I recounted how Chinese meth precursors come into Mexico through new Chinese-built ports on the West Coast of that county. The Mexican drug cartels then mass-produce the precursors in liquid form and smuggle it across the Mexico-Texas border. The Drug Enforcement Administration had reported that in 2014 meth seizures were up 90 percent in the Lower Rio Grande Valley near the Gulf of Mexico, 136 percent in the Middle Area and 245 percent around El Paso in far West Texas.
No one blames federal and Texas agents on the front lines, but the truth is they can only intercept a fraction of the flood. In Houston, meth has become “wildly popular,” the Houston Chronicle reports. In 2014, the Dallas Morning News headlined a long feature, “Deluge of meth from Mexico spreads across Texas.”
Two years later, the “deluge” of dope is only worse. My home state of Texas is getting overwhelmed by Mexican meth and other drugs.
Let’s just look at highlights from the last 30 days..

10-Year Sentence For Dealer Who Supplied Heroin In Fatal Overdose
SNOW HILL — In what could be test case of sorts in the ongoing battle against opioid addiction in Worcester, a Berlin man found guilty in May of involuntary manslaughter after supplying heroin to another man prior to a fatal overdose was sentenced on Tuesday to 10 years in prison.
Robert Franklin Skinkle, 26, was sentenced to 16 years with all but 10 years suspended for the heroin distribution conviction and 10 years for the involuntary manslaughter count, netting a total 10-year sentence. He was also placed on probation for two-and-a-half years upon his release and fined $500.
Following Skinkle’s conviction in May, Worcester County State’s Attorney Beau Oglesby said overdoses are now being treated as crime scenes with investigations targeting dealers who supplied the fatal doses. In June, another Berlin man was sentenced to 35 years for supplying methadone in a fatal overdose case and there are more cases in the prosecution pipeline.

Britain’s New Foreign Secretary: Compares Hillary Clinton to a ‘Sadistic Nurse in a Mental Hospital’
(CNSNews.com) – If Donald Trump is viewed as often indiscreet in his public statements, the politician named Wednesday as the top diplomat of Washington’s closest transatlantic ally could give him a run for his money.
Boris Johnson, the tousled-haired former London mayor who was tipped for 10 Downing Street after Britain voted to leave the European Union – a cause Johnson championed – has instead been appointed foreign secretary by the incoming prime minister, Theresa May.
Johnson’s appointment to the top cabinet post just a fortnight after he abruptly withdrew from contention to replace former Prime Minister David Cameron, suggests he is far from a spent force in British politics.
Whatever his future prospects, his new post calls for diplomatic qualities Johnson has not always displayed in the past – at a time when Britain negotiates its tricky disentanglement from the E.U.
No fan of presumptive GOP presidential nominee Trump, Johnson does share at least one trait with the billionaire entrepreneur apart from links to New York (Johnson was born there) and interesting hair: an aversion to political correctness.
A journalist and editor of The Spectator before entering parliament, Johnson continued while serving as an MP (2001-2008) and later as London’s mayor (2008-2016) to write columns for conservative newspapers, providing a platform for his sometimes provocative views.
In a Daily Telegraph column in 2007, Johnson described Hillary Clinton, who was then running for the Democratic presidential nomination, in less than flattering terms.
“She’s got dyed blonde hair and pouty lips, and a steely blue stare, like a sadistic nurse in a mental hospital,” he wrote, comparing Clinton as First Lady to “a mixture between Cherie Blair and Lady Macbeth, stamping her heel, bawling out subordinates and frisbeeing ashtrays at her erring husband.”

LEGENDARY COMMENTS BY GEORGE CHEVALLIER 7-16-16
A term that has slipped into America’s past is “bitters”. Before the Pure and Drug Law of 1906, bitters were sold as a medicinal product. The “snake oil” that was peddled throughout the country was nothing more than bitters. The more legitimate producers of the product had very ornate bottles that are highly collectible today. The only definitive work on the bottles was written in 1965. The bottle pictured above is from F. Chevalier & Co. in San Francisco. It states on the bottle that it contained “Celebrated/Crown Bitters”.
It is 8 ¾ inches high and 2 ¾ inches square. It is a dark brown amber color and very well-made. I found this in Richard Watson’s book, told him and he found the bottle for me.
The truth about bitters was it was a substitute for whiskey. Being between 30 and 40% alcohol and figuring in the laxative they usually put in it, the warm glow it gave one, many found it to be a convenient way to imbibe and clean out their system at the same time. Since many of the maladies of the day could be fixed with a good “flushing out”, bitters was a good way to do most of what they wanted.
Temperance movements were everywhere in the 19th Century, so bitters was a good and acceptable alternative to saloon whiskey. If a person went into a saloon, he was deemed to be a drunk. The imbibing in bitters was thought to be medicinal and everyone just looked the other way.
Manufacturers began to make the bottles in amber, green, blue and clear with shades of each color. They made them in many ornate designs and thus exacerbated the collection of the bottles themselves,
The Internal Revenue Act of 1862 which heavily taxed alcoholic beverages gave added emphasis to the bitters boom. Something that was considered medicinal did not fall into the same category as whiskey. Can’t you just imagine Uncle Charley having a drink of bitters for what ailed him? With the alcohol content between 30 and 40 %, it was sure to make him feel better temporarily and the laxative contained in the bitters usually gave him a good “flushing out”. Due to the shortage of legitimate doctors, bitters seemed a good way to cure many ills. It was also a good way to obtain a respectable buzz.
It just goes to prove the idea that no matter how many laws they pass, there are people coming up with ideas for how to get past them.
Conservatives Rejoice At Trump's Pick Of Pence
Donald Trump’s hope that Indiana Gov. Mike Pence would help him win over skeptical conservatives looks to be already working.
Leaders of a number of conservative organizations — including some that have been hostile to Donald Trump and supportive of his rivals — are praising the selection of Pence.
“This is a great day for conservatism and great news for conservatives,” said Matt Schlapp, the chairman of the American Conservative Union. “Governor Mike Pence is an excellent pick to be the Vice President.”
“He is a proven leader who has worked with grassroots conservatives to advance policies and solutions that strengthen our economy, our national defense, and our families,” Schlapp added. “His Reagan-esque approach, as a great communicator with the courage of his convictions, sends the signal to conservatives across America that Donald Trump is eager to bring Americans together to reject Hillary Clinton’s plans to continue President Obama’s radical agenda.”

David Brown, Dallas police chief, puts Obama to shame on race relations
What will I tell my children about the recent tragedies after the deaths of five police officers and the shootings of a number of black Americans. How will I explain to them that our nation is being torn apart by violence, anger and distrust and that we are desperately looking for national leadership?
Our country is experiencing another round of riots and protests pitting black Americans against law enforcement. A painful divide exists in our country where many in the black-majority communities feel isolated and frustrated while our police and first responders feel abandoned by our leaders. Two communities are greatly suffering, tensions are high, and there is no real solution in sight and seemingly no national leader with the ability to heal the nation.
President Obama insists that “we are not as divided as we seem.” Obviously, he has been living in a glass bubble too long.
The president is hardly a neutral observer. In many instances, he has been highly critical of law enforcement and highlighted police brutality even before all the facts were in.

L.A. Times Poll: Trump Ahead of Hillary 43-40
The California newspaper hid the actual poll numbers in the eighth paragraph
A five-day tracking poll backed by the Los Angeles Times shows Donald Trump leading Hillary Clinton, 43 percent to 40 percent.
The California newspaper hid the actual poll numbers in the eighth paragraph, including the news that Trump has the support of at least 30 percent of Hispanics.
The five-day poll include multiple answers on different days from more than 3,000 people, and it shows familiar splits;
MoreThe poll shows big gaps along the lines of race, gender, age and education that have surfaced consistently during the campaign. Through Thursday’s results, Trump led among men, 47% to 36%, while Clinton had a smaller, 41%-34% edge among women. Trump led among voters 45 and older, Clinton among those younger. Some of Trump’s strongest support comes from white voters who have not graduated from college, among whom he led 53% to 24%. Clinton, by contrast, dominates among minorities, leading 77% to 3% among blacks and 51% to 30% among Latinos.Clinton also held a narrow edge among white college graduates, 42% to 40%. If she wins that group, Clinton would be the first Democrat to carry white college graduates since polls began asking such demographic questions in the early 1950s.
Media Blames Truck, Not Terrorists or Islam, For Nice Attack
Will banning assault trucks stop more violence?
Leftist media outlets reacted to the devastating attack in Nice not by blaming Islam or even terrorists, but by suggesting that an inanimate object – the truck – was responsible for the carnage.
Instead of pointing the finger at Islamists, CNN, CBC and the New York Times all published headlines that served to hide the true nature of the attack.
CBC reported, “Children feared killed in Nice as truck attacks family event”. Presumably, the truck was somehow able to manifest artificial intelligence and plough itself through dozens of victims.
