West Virginia lawmakers made a historic decision Monday: They voted to impeach the state’s entire Supreme Court of Appeals, the highest court in the state.
What are the details?
The West Virginia House of Delegates Judiciary Committee approved 14 articles of impeachment against the court’s four sitting justices last week. Their alleged grievances ranged from misusing taxpayer money for office renovations to using state-owned property, including a historic desk, for personal use.

Think Tank: More Than 1 Million People Default on Student Loans
New think-tank research shows more than 1 million student loan borrowers each year go into default and nearly 40 percent of borrowers are expected to default on their student loans by 2023.
Outstanding education debt in the U.S. has tripled over the last decade and now exceeds $1.5 trillion, posing a greater burden to Americans than auto or credit card debt, CNBC reported.
A new report from the Urban Institute, a progressive think tank in Washington, D.C., analyzed the fates of borrowers who entered repayment in 2012.
Federal loans come with a lot of protections that should make default rare, Kristin Blagg, a research associate at the Urban Institute, focusing on education, told CNBC.
However, those safeguards often fail. Within four years after leaving school, nearly a quarter of the borrowers had defaulted.

Netanyahu: We Will Not Accept Anything Less Than Full Ceasefire
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday warned Hamas that Israel will continue to do whatever it needs to combat the terrorism coming from the Gaza Strip and will accept nothing less than a blanket ceasefire, at the same time as the results of an attempt by Egypt and the UN to strike a truce deal remain unclear.
“We are in the midst of a campaign against terror in Gaza. It entails an exchange of blows; it will not end in one strike. Our demand is clear — a complete ceasefire. We will not suffice with less than this,” Netanyahu said at Sunday’s weekly cabinet meeting.
“As of now, we have destroyed hundreds of Hamas military targets, and in each round the IDF exacts an additional heavy price. I will not reveal our operational plans here; they are ready,” Netanyahu said. “Our objective is to restore the quiet to residents of the south and the area adjacent to the Gaza Strip. This goal will be achieved in full.”

More Than Half of Foreign Refugees Are on Taxpayer-Funded Food Stamps
More than half of the annual inflow of foreign refugees arriving in the United States are on food stamps, a government report reveals.
Since 2008, as Breitbart News reported, the U.S. has permanently resettled more than 1.7 million foreign nationals and refugees through a variety of humanitarian programs like the Special Immigrant Juveniles and the Nicaraguan Adjustment and Central American Relief Act. This is a foreign population larger than Philadelphia, Pennsylvania — a city with more than 1.5 million residents.
An annual report by the Office of Refugee Resettlement was analyzed by the Center for Immigration Studies’ Jason Richwine, in which the analyst revealed that about 56 percent of households headed by foreign refugees who arrived in the U.S. between 2011 and 2015 are using taxpayer-funded food stamps.
Nearly 30 percent of refugees received cash welfare of some sort, while 34 percent of refugees 18-years-old or older said they had no health insurance. Of the refugees who said they did have health insurance, about 50 percent said they were either on Medicaid or Refugee Medical Assistance, both of which are taxpayer-funded.

Fitton: How Were Bruce and Nellie Ohr, Christopher Steele, and Fusion GPS Plotting?
Recently, Republican lawmakers indicated that Bruce Ohr, the former associate deputy attorney general, is becoming more central to their investigation of the soft coup against President Trump.
Moreover, newly released emails and memos show that Ohr continued to receive information from former British spy Christopher Steele in 2017 after the FBI had supposedly terminated its relationship with Steele in 2016 for leaking to the media.
In fact, as I describe below, it was another Judicial Watch lawsuit that just uncovered FBI document showing that Steele was deemed unsuitable as a “confidential human source” in November 2016. But that was no impediment to Ohr’s continuing to use him nor the FBI continuing to receive “information” from Steele through Ohr! Talk about corruption!

Secret Service Investigating Antifa For Threats To Murder President Trump
According to a report from The Daily Caller, members of left-wing Antifa are being investigated by the Secret Service for threats of murder and violence against President Donald Trump.
"The Secret Service tells The Daily Caller they are now 'aware' of the threats and are 'investigating' the progressive protesters," says the report.
"The Secret Service is aware of the incident," said a Secret Service spokesperson, noting that, as a matter of policy, they cannot comment further on "protective intelligence investigations."

"Furious" Swedish PM Rages At Violent Gang Rampage: "What The Hell Are You Doing?"
After last night's violent, coordinated rampage by masked gangs of youths across five Swedish cities, Swedish politicians were quick to react with far-right, anti-immigrant party 'Sweden Democrats' seeing a surge in the polls ahead of September 9th's election.
"I get pissed off for real," Prime Minister Stefan Löfven hit out in an interview with Swedish radio, adding hewanted to ask the perpetrators "what the hell are you doing?"
"Society will come back hard on this," said the Social Democrat leader, who also raised questions about the scope and timing of the attacks, which police suspect were coordinated via social media.
"It looks very coordinated, almost like a military operation," Löfven said, adding that the police probe would show if the car fires were down to vandalism, organized crime or something else.

San Francisco's housing market is so dire that people are spending over $1 million on the 'earthquake shacks' built after the 1906 fires
Most prospective homebuyers know that "cozy" is real estate code for tiny.
In San Francisco real estate, cozy is about all that most residents can afford. A person who wants to buy property in the city needs a household income of $303,000 in order to afford the 20% down payment on a $1.5 million home — the median sale price in San Francisco last quarter.
It should come as little surprise that cottages known as "earthquake shacks" are one of the most desirable real-estate assets in the city. After the 1906 earthquake and firesdecimated some 500 city blocks and left half the population homeless, the city responded by building more than 5,000 small wooden cottages as temporary housing. They came to shelter over 16,000 people.
The surviving shacks are scattered across the city and fetch prices above $1 million.

Trump shames Sessions: 'If we had a real Attorney General,' there would be no Russia investigation

"If we had a real Attorney General, this Witch Hunt would never have been started! Looking at the wrong people,” Trump tweeted Tuesday morning. His tweet also quoted Fox News host Gregg Jarrett, who said the Justice Department's goal under former President Barack Obama was to "clear Hillary Clinton and FRAME Donald Trump for things he didn't do."

Nebraska becomes first state to execute inmate using fentanyl
Nebraska has become the first state to execute an inmate while using fentanyl, a powerful synthetic opioid that has contributed to the nation's opioid epidemic.
The Nebraska State Penitentiary on Tuesday executed convicted murderer Carey Dean Moore with a mixture of drugs that included fentanyl,according to The New York Times.
Nebraska is not the first state to consider using the synthetic opioid while carrying out the death penalty, though it is the first to follow through on the idea.
Last month, Nevada planned to use fentanyl in the execution of convicted murder Scott Dozier, but decided to postpone the procedure.
The use of fentanyl in executions has drawn some criticism,including from the American Civil Liberties Union, given the drug's role in the opioid epidemic.

Jordanian immigrant sentenced to death for Texas 'honor killings' of son-in-law, daughter's friend
A Texas father convicted in the 2012 murders of his son-in-law and his daughter's best friend -- in what was described in court as a set of "honor killings" -- was sentenced to death Tuesday.
Ali Mahwood-Awad Irsan, 60, was convicted of capital murder last month in connection with the deaths of his American son-in-law, Coty Beavers, and Iranian women's rights activist Gelareh Bagherzadeh.
Prosecutors said Irsan, a conservative Muslim who immigrated to the U.S. from Jordan, became enraged after his daughter Nesreen married Beavers and converted to Christianity. According to investigators, Bagherzadeh had encouraged Nesreen Irsan to marry Beavers.
Police said Irsan, his wife Shmou Alrawabdeh and their son, Nasim, followed Bagherzadeh to her parents' home in January 2012, and that Nasim Isran shot her in her car.
Eleven months later, the elder Irsan slipped into Beavers' unlocked apartment near Houston, waited for his daughter to leave for work, then shot his son-in-law, according to Alrawabdeh, who testified as part of a plea agreement with prosecutors.

Does The Politically Correct Western Media Keep Covering Up Violent Attacks By Extremists?
All over the world, specifically motivated arson attacks, shootings, knifings, and gang violence eruptions are occurring. But mainstream media outlets in Europe, Australia, Canada, and the US are reluctant to report the stories without a pro-immigration bias, quietly glossing over the common thread in the attacks. Extremists with ties to Northern Africa seem to be waging a war, but you won’t hear this from the media or the respective governments.
Before someone starts calling me a racist, please understand that in my following report, I am certainly not trying to paint every person who has migrated with the same brush. I’m talking about extremists, and as I’ve written many times, extremists are usually the ones who get all the press. The other thing that is rarely reported on is the families who relocate to another country and embrace the new way of life, becoming valuable members of society. It seems to me that if there weren’t a large number of these people who quietly integrate, we’d be hearing about it.
This is a different story, however. It’s a story about how numerous attacks that have happened in just the past few weeks are being glossed over by the media and the governments of the countries where they happened.

Trump-Endorsed Kris Kobach Makes History, Unseats Incumbent Kansas Governor
Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach will make history in becoming the GOP nominee for Kansas governor after unseating incumbent Gov. Jeff Colyer in the primary election.
As Breitbart News reported, following the unofficial vote total in the gubernatorial primary last week, Kobach led Colyer by a little less than 200 votes. This prompted a count of all provisional ballots across the state.
Today — after the second day of counting where Kobach increased his lead by 345 votes — Colyer conceded the primary race to Kobach in, telling the media:
I’ve just had a conversation with [Kobach] and I congratulated him on his success and I repeated my determination to keep this seat in Republican hands. The numbers are just not there unless we were to go to extraordinary measures.
Kobach was endorsed by President Trump the day before the Kansas GOP primary election, a statement of support that the former Trump transition team immigration adviser said was “absolutely crucial” to his success in the primary.

‘Sudanese immigrant’ drove around for hours before hitting cyclists
The Sudanese-born immigrant accused of bringing terror to Westminster was thrown off his university course and lost his father and brother in the months before he used his Ford Fiesta to plough into crowds, MailOnline can reveal today.
Salih Khater, 29, has been described as a quiet loner who loved Celine Dion, smoking shisha and whiling away time at an internet cafe below his old flat in the Sparkhill area of Birmingham.
Today it emerged Khater was studying accountancy at Coventry University but had his place 'terminated' in May after failing the first year, while friends said his poor English meant he couldn't complete a pharmacy course 12 months earlier.
Police are today searching his tenth floor council flat just ten minutes from the former home of Khalid Masood, whose murderous rampage 17 months ago appears to have inspired Khater's own carborne attack yesterday. Searches of his old flat and a Nottingham house linked to his car have been completed

Ryan Zinke Shifts Wildfire Debate From 'Global Warming' To Anti-Logging 'Environmental Terrorists'
Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke lambasted “environmental terrorists groups that have not allowed public access, that refuse to allow harvest of timber.”
Environmentalists use litigation to keep federal agencies from thinning forests, clearing debris or allowing logging.
Activists want to blame global warming for wildfires, but experts say the relationship between climate and fires is complicated.
Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke spent the last week targeting environmental groups that have for years opposed activities, like logging and thinning, to reduce the risks of catastrophic wildfires on federal lands.
The former Montana congressman blamed “litigation from radical environmentalists who would rather see forests and communities burn than see a logger in the woods,” in a USA Today op-ed published Wednesday.
Zinke also called out “extreme environmentalists” in an interview with KCRA that aired Sunday. The day before that, Zinke lambasted “environmental terrorists groups that have not allowed public access, that refuse to allow harvest of timber” in an interview with Breitbart Radio.

Democrat Keith Ellison wins Minnesota AG primary days after abuse allegations surface
Democratic Rep. Keith Ellison scored a victory Tuesday night in the Minnesota primary race for the state's attorney general days after domestic abuse accusations against him surfaced.
Ellison, who serves as the deputy chairman of the Democratic National Committee and is the first Muslim elected to Congress, was accused over the weekend of emotional and physical abuse by an ex-girlfriend.
Addressing the abuse allegations in his victory speech, Ellison said: “We had a very unexpected event at the end of this campaign that happened. I want to assure you that it is not true.”
Ellison ran for the position against state Rep. Debra Hilstrom, former Department of Commerce Commissioner Mike Rothman, former Ramsey County Attorney Tom Foley and attorney Matt Pelikan.

Facebook threatens Press: WORK WITH US OR DIE
FACEBOOK has been accused of threatening media firms into working with them by saying their businesses would end up "in a hospice" if they didn't.
Campbell Brown, Facebook's global head of news partnerships, is said to have told a group of Australian media executives that their businesses would die without their help, and that Mark Zuckerberg "doesn't care" about publishers.
According to The Australian, as part of a four-hour closed-door meeting with Ms Brown, the top exec for the social media giant said: "We will help you revitalise journalism … in a few years the reverse looks like I’ll be holding your hands with your dying business like in a hospice."
Five sources present at the meeting confirmed the comments.
She was also reported to have said: "Mark Zuckerberg doesn't care about publishers but is giving me a lot of leeway and concessions to make these changes".
She added: “We are not interested in talking to you about your traffic and referrals anymore. That is the old world and there is no going back – Mark wouldn’t agree to this.”

Chinese Cops Now Spying on American Soil
A major human rights crisis is unfolding in northwestern China, according to the United Nations, which said last week that there were credible reports that the Chinese government is holding one million or more ethnic minorities in secretive detention camps.
Yet even for those who have escaped China, surveillance and intimidation have followed. As part of a massive campaign to monitor and intimidate its ethnic minorities no matter where they are, Chinese authorities are creating a global registry of Uighurs who live outside of China, threatening to detain their relatives if they do not provide personal and identifying information to Chinese police. This campaign is now reaching even Uighurs who live in the United States.
A few months ago, Barna, who lives in a major U.S. city and requested that her real name not be revealed, received an odd message from her mother, who lives in China. Barna’s mother asked her to send her U.S. car license plate number, her phone number, her U.S. bank card number, and a photo of her ID card.

Missouri Democrats Slam Door on Pro-Life Voters
'They want us to shut up and vote. Well, we're not going to do that anymore'
For about a month, the Missouri Democratic Party was willing to accept voters with "differing positions on issues of personal conscience." But over the weekend, party leadership decided to rescind the olive branch it extended to pro-life Democrats earlier this summer.
An amendment voted into the platform by party leadership in late June was voted back out this past Saturday—a move that Democrats opposed to an abortion purity test say the party will regret in November.
The platform clearly states the party supports "a woman's right to choose" and would "oppose any efforts to limit access to reproductive health." The now-removed amendment had stated a willingness to "welcome into our ranks all Missourians."
"We respect the conscience of each Missourian and recognize that members of our party have deeply held and sometimes differing positions on issues of personal conscience, such as abortion," the amendment read. "We recognize the diversity of views as a source of strength, and welcome into our ranks all Missourians who may hold differing positions on this issue."
"Missouri Democrats finally quit pretending to be moderate and inclusive today," Republican Senate candidate Josh Hawley told the Washington Free Beacon. "They are now held captive by the most militant fringes of their party."

"Civil War" -- insightful & thought provoking commentary...
Dr. Jack D. Minzey died Sunday, 8 April 2018
Jack was head of the Department of Education at Eastern Michigan University as
well as author of numerous books, most of which were on Education and the
Government's role.
This is the last of his works:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Civil War...
How do civil wars happen?
Two or more sides disagree on who runs
the country. And they can't settle the question through
elections because they don't even agree that elections are
how you decide who's in charge. That's the basic issue
here. Who decides who runs the country? When you hate each
other but accept the election results, you have a country.
When you stop accepting election results, you have a
countdown to a civil war.
The Mueller investigation is about
removing President Trump from office and overturning the
results of an election. We all know that. But it's not the
first time they've done this. The first time a Republican
president was elected this century, they said he didn't
really win. The Supreme Court gave him the election.
There's a pattern here.
What do sure odds of the Democrats
rejecting the next Republican president really mean? It
means they don't accept the results of any election that
they don't win. It means they don't believe that transfers
of power in this country are determined by elections.
That's a civil war.
There's no shooting. At least not
unless you count the attempt to kill a bunch of Republicans
at a charity baseball game practice. But the Democrats have
rejected our system of government.
This isn't dissent. It's not
disagreement. You can hate the other party. You can think
they're the worst thing that ever happened to the country.
But then you work harder to win the next election. When you
consistently reject the results of elections that you don't
win, what you want is a dictatorship.
Your very own dictatorship.
The only legitimate exercise of power
in this country, according to Democrats, is its own.
Whenever Republicans exercise power, it's inherently
illegitimate. The Democrats lost Congress. They lost the
White House. So what did they do? They began trying to run
the country through Federal judges and bureaucrats. Every
time that a Federal judge issues an order saying that the
President of the United States can't scratch his own back
without his say so, that's the civil war.
Our system of government is based on
the constitution, but that's not the system that runs this
country. The Democrat's system is that any part of
government that it runs gets total and unlimited power over
the country.
If the Democrats are in the White
House, then the president can do anything. And I mean
anything. He can have his own amnesty for illegal aliens. He
can fine you for not having health insurance. His power is
unlimited. He's a dictator.
But when Republicans get into the White
House, suddenly the President can't do anything. He isn't
even allowed to undo the illegal alien amnesty that his
predecessor illegally invented. A Democrat in the White
House has 'discretion' to completely decide every aspect of
immigration policy. A Republican doesn't even have the
'discretion' to reverse him. That's how the game is played
That's how our country is run. Sad but true, although the
left hasn't yet won that particular fight.
When a Democrat is in the White House,
states aren't even allowed to enforce immigration law. But
when a Republican is in the White House, states can create
their own immigration laws. Under Obama, a state wasn't
allowed to go to the bathroom without asking permission. But
under Trump, Jerry Brown can go around saying that
California is an independent republic and sign treaties with
other countries.
The Constitution has something to say about that.
Whether it's Federal or State, Executive, Legislative or Judiciary, the left moves power
around to run the country. If it controls an institution,
then that institution is suddenly the supreme power in the
land. This is what I call a moving dictatorship.
Donald Trump has caused the Shadow
Government to come out of hiding:Professional government is
a guild. Like medieval guilds. You can't serve in it if you're
not a member. If you haven't been indoctrinated into its
arcane rituals. If you aren't in the club. And Trump isn't
in the club. He brought in a bunch of people with him
who also are NOT in the club.
Now we're seeing what the pros do when
amateurs try to walk in on them. They spy on them, they
investigate them and they send them to jail. They use the
tools of power to bring them down.
That's not a free country.
It's not a free country when FBI agents
who support Hillary take out an 'insurance policy' against
Trump winning the election. It's not a free country when
Obama officials engage in massive unmasking of the
opposition. It's not a free country when the media responds
to the other guy winning by trying to ban the conservative
media that supported him from social media. It's not a free
country when all of the above collude together to overturn
an election because the guy who wasn't supposed to win... WON.
Have no doubt. We are in a civil war.
This war is between conservative volunteer government
and a leftist Democrat professional government.
