The Year Was 1955

Did you hear the post office is thinking about charging 4 cents just to mail a letter?

If they raise the minimum wage to $1.00, nobody will be able to hire outside help at the store.

When I first started driving, who would have thought gas would someday cost 25 cents a gallon?
Guess we'd be better off leaving the car in the garage.

I'm afraid to send my kids to the movies any more. Ever since they let Clark Gable get by with saying DAMN in GONE WITH THE WIND, it seems every new movie has either HELL or DAMN in it.

I read the other day where some scientist thinks it's possible to put a man on the moon by the end of the century. They even have some fellows they call astronauts preparing for it down in Texas

Did you see where some baseball
player just signed a contract for $50,000 a year just to play ball? It wouldn't surprise me if someday they'll be making more than the President.

I never thought I'd see the day all our kitchen appliances would be electric. They're even making electric typewriters now.

It's too bad things are so tough nowadays. I see where a few married women are having to work to make ends meet.

It won't be long before young couples are going to have to hire someone to watch their kids so they can both work.

I'm afraid the Volkswagen car is going to open the door to a whole lot of foreign business.

Thank goodness I won't live to see the day when the Government takes half our income in taxes. I sometimes wonder if we are electing the best people to government.

The fast food restaurant is convenient for a quick meal, but I seriously doubt they will ever catch on.

There is no sense going on short trips anymore for a weekend.
It costs nearly $2.00 a night to stay in a hotel.

No one can afford to be sick anymore. At $15.00 a day in the hospital, it's too rich for my blood.

If they think I'll pay 30 cents for a haircut, forget it.

MD Knocks Off DE To Capture 2013 Governor's Challenge

Salisbury, MD – For the first time in 4 years, there will be no Maryland Smith Island Cake heading to the Delaware State House. Instead, a Delaware Peach Pie will be brought to Annapolis to celebrate Maryland’s victory over Delaware in the 4th annual Governor’s Challenge Holiday Basketball tournament held at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center December 26-28.

In 2010, the neighboring Governors made a friendly wager on the event to see which high school teams would be victorious and for 3 years, Delaware literally took home the cake. However, all of that changed on Saturday, December 28, as Maryland clinched its first Governor’s Challenge trophy, winning 11 games to 9.

Ironically, it was Parkside High School that secured the win for Maryland in 2013. In 2012, Parkside had an opportunity to win it for Maryland as the two states were tied 10 to 10 heading into the final game of the event between Parkside and Milford, DE. Milford won that contest, 63-57, clinching Delaware’s 3rd straight Governor’s Challenge trophy but Parkside ensured that history was not about to repeat itself in 2013. With Maryland leading 10 games to 9, Parkside faced Laurel, DE in the final game of the event. Like 2012, it was a hard-fought contest, but this time Parkside (and Maryland) emerged victorious with a 57-54 victory. Parkside junior forward Juwan Williams led the way with 12 points.

“Redemption was a good thing this year,” explained Parkside head coach Dave Byar, after securing the win for Maryland. “We got over the hump and it was a great win.”

The Maryland victory was part of a great week of high school basketball action that featured 35 high school boys basketball teams from the region. Besides highly competitive games, the event featured 14 sharp shooters in the Three Point Shootout and 8 high-flying dunkers in the M&T Bank Slam Dunk Contest.

In the Three Point Shootout, Shakur Cottman, from Washington High, emerged victorious over Devin Shuler from CH Flowers to capture the 3 point title. Cottman led all shooters amassing a total of 36 points during the 3 rounds of competition. In a primetime Friday night performance, junior Patrick Johnson from CH Flowers rose above the competition in the M&T Slam Dunk Contest, scoring a perfect 50 in the championship round. Johnson’s aerial display of power and finesse earned him championship honors with Randallstown’s Devin Smith placing second.

COLORADO LEARNS THAT RECALL ELECTIONS AREN’T THE ONLY CONSEQUENCE OF PASSING GUN CONTROL LAWS

Magpul Industries, one of the largest gun manufacturers in the United States, formally announced Thursday it is relocating its operations to Wyoming and Texas. The company is fleeing the state of Colorado following the passage of new gun control laws that “dramatically” limit the sale of firearms accessories.

The company is relocating manufacturing, distribution and shipping operations to Cheyenne, Wyo., and moving its corporate headquarters to Texas, according to a press released provided to TheBlaze. Magpul is still considering three North Central Texas sites, but the transition will begin immediately after a final decision is made.

“Magpul made the decision to relocate in March 2013 and has proceeded on an aggressive but deliberate path,” Doug Smith, Chief Operating Officer for Magpul Industries, said. “These dual moves will be carried out in a manner that ensures our operations and supply chain will not be interrupted and our loyal customers will not be affected.”

A CITY IN FLAMES: INSIDE DETROIT'S WAR ON ARSON

Understaffed and with few resources, Detroit-area firefighters battle a plague of abandoned, burning buildings

For eight long years, the firefighters of Highland Park, Michigan, worked out of a warehouse. There was no red-bricked facade, no lanky Dalmatian. No freshly washed engines gleaming in the sun. No second-floor fire pole to descend in the dead of night to wailing sirens. Whatever idealized vision you have of firefighting, Highland Park is not it. Instead, picture a hulking, boxy building on the edge of an industrial park about six miles north of downtown Detroit. A small metal sign points the way, light blue with “Fire Dept” stenciled in all-caps white, the previous tenant’s name erased with spray paint. There’s a parking lot strewn with detritus (including a vagabond shopping cart) and beyond that train tracks and Interstate 75, the eight-lane highway that cuts through the heart of Detroit.

The Highland Park fire department opened nearly a century ago, in 1917, to serve the booming city. It once employed 84 firefighters; today it’s less than half that. Yet they answer, on average, 1,000 runs a year, including 150-200 structure fires. They fight car fires, respond to accidents, and answer calls about hazardous materials. They have one working ladder truck.

Americans Never Give Up Your Guns

These days, there are few things to admire about the socialist, bankrupt and culturally degenerating USA, but at least so far, one thing remains: the right to bear arms and use deadly force to defend one's self and possessions.

This will probably come as a total shock to most of my Western readers, but at one point, Russia was one of the most heavily armed societies on earth. This was, of course, when we were free under the Tsar. Weapons, from swords and spears to pistols, rifles and shotguns were everywhere, common items. People carried them concealed, they carried them holstered. Fighting knives were a prominent part of many traditional attires and those little tubes criss crossing on the costumes of Cossacks and various Caucasian peoples? Well those are bullet holders for rifles.

Various armies, such as the Poles, during the Смута (Times of Troubles), or Napoleon, or the Germans even as the Tsarist state collapsed under the weight of WW1 and Wall Street monies, found that holding Russian lands was much much harder than taking them and taking was no easy walk in the park but a blood bath all its own. In holding, one faced an extremely well armed and aggressive population Hell bent on exterminating or driving out the aggressor.

This well armed population was what allowed the various White factions to rise up, no matter how disorganized politically and militarily they were in 1918 and wage a savage civil war against the Reds. It should be noted that many of these armies were armed peasants, villagers, farmers and merchants, protecting their own. If it had not been for Washington's clandestine support of and for the Reds, history would have gone quite differently.

What Does The United States Look Like?

A father wanted to read a magazine but was being bothered by his little girl. She wanted to know what the United States looked like. Finally, he tore a sheet out of his new magazine on which was printed the map of the country.

Tearing it into small pieces, he gave it to her and said, 'Go into the other room and see if you can put this together.
After a few minutes, she returned and handed him the map, correctly fitted and all taped together. The father was surprised and asked how she had finished so quickly..
'Oh,' she said, 'on the other side of the paper is a picture of Jesus. When I got all of Jesus back where He belonged, Then our country just came together.'

Why Are 8 Democrats Sponsoring A Bill To Eliminate The Death Penalty For Treason?

(via The Hill) — Nearly a year ago, on January 2, 2012, eight Democrats in the House introduced a curious piece of legislation – H.R. 3741: Federal Death Penalty Abolition Act of 2013, which seeks to abolish the death penalty under federal law. But the bill has only just been discovered by the media, notably The Hill on Dec. 16, 2013:

Rep. Donna Edwards (D-Md.) and seven other Democrats have proposed legislation that would eliminate the possibility of imposing the death penalty for a range of federal offenses, including several categories of murder and crimes against the government like treason and espionage.

The Federal Death Penalty Abolition Act, H.R. 3741, would end the death penalty for assassination or kidnapping that results in the death of the president or vice president, and also ends it for the murder of a member of Congress.

Under the bill, the death penalty could no longer be used to punish people for using a weapon of mass destruction, or murder done via torture, child abuse, war crimes, aircraft hijackings, sexual abuse, bank robberies or the willful wrecking of a train.

Experts May Recommend Cutting Sugar Intake In Half

The World Health Organization is considering cutting the amount of sugar it recommends in your daily diet to half the current limit.

Experts are proposing cutting the recommended level that people should consume from no more than 10 percent of their calories from sugar to no more than five percent, based on fears of heart disease, obesity, and tooth decay, The Sunday Times in the U.K. reports. The new requirements equate to about five teaspoons of sugar a day -- about the same as in a Mar bars or in half a can of a soda.

By The Numbers, Was 2013 A Year To Forget?

About half of Americans expect 2014 to be a better year than 2013, according to the recent AP-Times Square New Year’s Eve poll. And judging by the typical questions pollsters use to measure the public mood, it doesn’t seem like it could be much worse.

A look at how the public rated the nation’s performance in 2013:

Right direction? Not quite yet

Whether people think the nation is heading the right way or the wrong way is a basic measure of optimism that pollsters have used for decades to gauge the public mood. In AP-GfK polling this year, few thought the United States had found the right path.

PRUDEN: Betrayal That Whitewash Won't Cover

Transparency, the current vogue word for truth-telling, is usually a good thing, unless you’re trying to fool all the people some of the time, like spending 7,000 words to resurrect a fairy tale in Benghazi, all to give a helping hand to a lady in distress.

The New York Times understands that Hillary Clinton is likely to be the only credible hope the Democrats have for 2016 and that she already needs lots of remedial help. The Times huffed and puffed to deliver an excuse for betrayal in Benghazi, meant to second Mrs. Clinton’s famous alibi for her tortured misfeasance as secretary of state — “What difference, at this point, does it make?”

The right response might have made a lot of difference to an American ambassador who lay dead, slain at the hands of Islamic terrorists, and three other Americans who had to give up their lives because nobody at the White House could be bothered to ride to the rescue. President Obama and his frightened and timid acolytes, including Mrs. Clinton, insisted that this was not Islamic terror or the perfidy of al Qaeda, but merely the reaction of innocent Muslims offended by a video posted on YouTube mocking the religion of the Prophet Muhammad.

Even after the White House dispatched Susan Rice, who was then the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, to push the confection about the video as revealed truth, almost nobody believed it. The White House couldn’t even find anybody else who would say he believed it.

TEPCO Quietly Admits Reactor 3 Could Be Melting Down NOW

Susanne Posel (OC) , – The Turner Radio Network (TRN) has issued a report regarding the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant stating that it is expected to affect the entire Northern Hemisphere.

According to the report: “Persons residing on the west coast of North America should IMMEDIATELY begin preparing for another possible onslaught of dangerous atmospheric radiation from the Fukushima nuclear disaster site in Japan.”

TEPCO has confirmed via camera surveillance, that steam has begun to pour from Reactor 3, although they have “not been identified abnormal plant conditions.”

TEPCO is reporting that “radioactive steam has suddenly begun emanating from the previously exploded nuclear reactor building #3 at the Fukuishima disaster site in Japan.”

The corporation is not clear on the details of the sudden change at Reactor 3 because of “lethal radiation levels in that building.”

Summations from experts conclude that this may “be the beginning of a ‘spent fuel pool criticality (melt down)’ involving up to 89 TONS of nuclear fuel burning up into the atmosphere and heading to North America.” Steam has been viewed coming from Reactor 3.

Gun Confiscation – The New World Order’s New Year’s Resolution

Will the Second Amendment be completely eradicated in 2014?

For many Americans, 2013 was the year “gun confiscation” became an undeniable reality, but it has merely set the precedent for what’s to come in 2014.

The Second Amendment represents the biggest obstacle blocking the elimination of individual sovereignty and private property, and is one of the only things preventing a total Homeland Security dictatorship.

However, in states like California and New York, laws restricting firearms have already been passed, and gun confiscationfrom private citizens is already being forcibly carried out.

As Infowars has furiously documented, numerous federal, state and local law enforcement agencies have divulged they are being trained to confiscate Americans’ firearms. One Austin politician even flat-out stated this is the ultimate goal behind “gun control” (see below).

These warnings go hand-in-hand with rumors of a litmus test in which commanding officers gauge whether soldiers would feel comfortable firing on Americans who resist orders.

All of this leads us to question how long it will be before the rest of the nation imposes such measures, and begs the question as to whether military and police will ultimately comply with orders to violently engage the public.

Considering the frequency of attacks leveled at the Second Amendment, the question of the new year is: Will the Second Amendment be completely eradicated in 2014?

Here are just a few videos encapsulating the ensuing War on Gun Rights:

Justice Is A B*tch: Life Without Parole For Weed

If you thought Karma was a b*tch, you should check out Justice.

She is not blind at all. Justice is a biased racist with a political agenda. For example, if a cop anally penetrates dozens of innocent people, it’s punishable by only 2 years in prison. If a drunk rich kid mows down 4 pedestrians and kills them, he gets off with no jail time and a stint at a posh country club rehab facility. If a black person who “plays knockout” with white people, he gets a slap on the wrist, but when a white person perpetrates that assault against a black person he gets charged with a federal hate crime. A teacher in Montana repeatedly raped a 14 year old girl, until she killed herself in despair, andhe got a mere 30 days in prison.

Now there is the story of Jeff Mizanskey. He is serving a life sentence without parole. His dastardly crime? 3 marijuana charges. We can all rest easier with him off the streets, can’t we?

Immigrant Driver's License Law Takes Effect

ANNAPOLIS (AP) — Immigrants living in the U.S. illegally will be able to obtain a Maryland driver’s license or identification card under a new law.

The law, which takes effect today, expands a program Maryland adopted in 2009 to comply with tighter federal identification rules. It created a two-tiered license, so people who did not have a Social Security number or lawful status before a 2009 deadline could still get a license allowing them to drive. The new law repeals the limitation and ends a scheduled 2015 termination date for such licenses to be issued or renewed.

The second-tier license will have the same colors as a standard driver’s license, but will say across the top that it’s not legal for federal uses, such as entering federal buildings or boarding a plane. The license or identification card also cannot be used to buy a firearm.

US Government Orders 14 Million Doses Of Potassium Iodide

Huge purchase linked to ongoing Fukushima crisis?

UPDATE
: Plumes of mysterious steam rise from crippled nuclear reactor at Fukushima

The Department of Health and Human Services has ordered 14 million doses of potassium iodide, the compound that protects the body from radioactive poisoning in the aftermath of severe nuclear accidents, to be delivered before the beginning of February.

According to a solicitation posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website, the DHHS asks contractors to supply, “potassium iodide tablet, 65mg, unit dose package of 20s; 700,000 packages (of 20s),” a total of 14 million tablets. The packages must be delivered on or before February 1, 2014.

Potassium iodide helps block radioactive iodine from being absorbed by the thyroid gland and is used by victims of severe nuclear accidents or emergencies. Under current regulations, states with populations living within 10 miles of a nuclear plant are encouraged, but not required, to maintain a supply of potassium iodide.

Food Stamp Program Overpaid $2 Billion In 2013

The federal government's food stamp program mistakenly overpaid recipients $2.1 billion— out of its $74.6 billion budget— in 2013, according to the Department of Agriculture annual report.

The government also underpaid food stamp recipients to the tune of $500 million because of mistakes by case workers or the clients themselves.

All in all, $2.6 billion of the food stamp program was misspent, according to Breitbart.

By its own criteria, the Department of Agricultural wrongly spent $6.2 billion from its various programs including the National School Lunch Program ($1.8 billion), School Breakfast Program ($831 million), Federal Crop Insurance Corporation Program Fund ($566 million), and Women, Infants, and Children food program ($198 million).

The USDA describes an improper payment as occurring "when a participating household is certified for too many or too few benefits compared to the level for which they are eligible. This can result from incomplete or inaccurate reporting of income and/or assets by participants at the time of certification and from changes subsequent to certification, or errors in determining eligibility or benefits by caseworkers."

The Trends To Watch For In 2014

At the beginning of this year (2013), I identified eight key dynamics that will play out over the next two to three years (2013-2015):

Trend #1: Central Planning intervention in stock and bond markets will continue, despite diminishing returns on Central State/Bank intervention

Trend #2: The omnipotence of the Federal Reserve will suffer a fatal erosion of confidence as recession voids Fed policy and pronouncements of “recovery"

Trend #3: The Mainstream Media (MSM) will continue to lose credibility as it parrots Central Planners’ perception management

Trend #4: The failure of what is effectively the “State religion,” Keynesianism, will leave policy makers in the Central State and Bank bereft of policy alternatives

Trend #5: Economic Stagnation will fuel the rise of Permanent Adolescence

Trend #6: Income, the foundation of real economic growth and wealth-distribution stability, will continue to stagnate

Trend #7: Small business—the engine of growth—will continue to decline for structural reasons

Trend #8: Territorial disputes will continue to be invoked to distract domestic audiences from domestic instability and inequality

Big Medicaid Changes In 2014 Under Obamacare

Millions of Americans who consider themselves able-bodied and middle class will in 2014 find themselves covered by a remodeled Medicaid program that previously had the image of serving the poor and disabled.

People who live in the District of Columbia and the 25 states which have expanded Medicaid coverage under the Affordable Care Act will see Medicaid taking on a wider role in providing healthcare, The Washington Post reported.

From Wednesday, anyone in those places with an individual income of less than $15,856 a year, including childless adults, as well as families with earnings below $32,499 will be eligible for Medicaid coverage. Among those likely to seek Medicaid will be the unemployed, lower-paid workers, those just entering the job market and retirees who do not yet qualify for Medicare.

In states where Medicaid has not been expanded it will cover its usual catchment of children and those with very-low incomes as well as the elderly poor and handicapped.

Obama’s 2014 War On The Poor

More unemployment benefits and a higher minimum wage? Couldn’t be worse for struggling Americans.

To put it in today’s standard D.C. terms, Democrats sure must hate poor people.

That’s silly, of course. But there’s no doubt that Democrats are preparing to push policies that are likely to hurt struggling low- and middle-income Americans.

Both the Obama administration and the Democratic leadership in Congress have announced that their top priority when Congress returns later this month will be extending unemployment benefits and raising the minimum wage. Both policies are likely to leave more Americans jobless — especially low-income workers with few skills, the very people Democrats claim they want to help most.

Take the extension of unemployment insurance. Labor economists may disagree on the extent to which unemployment benefits increase or extend spells of unemployment, but the fact that they increase the duration of unemployment and/or unemployment levels is not especially controversial. As Martin Feldstein and Daniel Altman have pointed out, “the most obvious and most thoroughly researched effect of the existing UI systems on unemployment is the increase in the duration of the unemployment spells.”

A New Year And Old Problems

With Obamacare Americans will face a choice to be citizen or subject.

Whenever we stand on the threshold of a new year we are tempted to forget the hazards of prophecy and try to see what may lie on the other side of this arbitrary division of time.

Sometimes we are content to try to change ourselves with New Year’s resolutions to do better in some respect. Changing ourselves is a much more reasonable undertaking than trying to change other people. It may or may not succeed, but it seldom creates the disasters that trying to change others can produce.

When we look beyond ourselves to the world around us, peering into the future can be a very sobering, if not depressing, experience.

Obamacare looms large and menacing on our horizon. This is not just because of computer problems, or even because some people who think that they have enrolled may discover on their next visit to a doctor that they do not have any insurance coverage.

‘Rate Shock’? ObamaCare Launch Brings Renewed Concern Over Insurance Tax

New Year's Day marks the start of coverage under ObamaCare for millions of people -- but it also marks the start of a massive tax increase which could further inflate premiums.

Beginning Wednesday, the Affordable Care Act imposes an annual fee on health insurers. The fee is projected to bring in $8 billion next year and roughly $100 billion over the next decade, making it one of the biggest under the law.

The health insurance industry has been howling about the "tax" for years, and is trying to rally support for a bill in Congress that would repeal it. The bill, sponsored by Rep. Charles Boustany, R-La., has 229 co-sponsors -- which represents a majority of members in the House.

But the White House will fight any effort to repeal it, and for now the measure is in effect.

Census Bureau Projects U.S. Population Of 317.3 Million on New Years

The U.S. population clock is based on a series of short-term projections for the resident population of the United States. This includes people whose usual residence is in the 50 states and the District of Columbia. These projections do not include members of the Armed Forces overseas, their dependents, or other U.S. citizens residing outside the United States.

The projections are based on a monthly series of population estimates starting with the April 1, 2010 resident population from the 2010 Census.

At the end of each year, a new series of population estimates, from the census date forward, is used to revise the postcensal estimates, including the population clock projections series. Once a series of monthly projections is completed, the daily population clock numbers are derived by interpolation. Within each calendar month, the daily numerical population change is assumed to be constant, subject to negligible differences caused by rounding.

Population estimates produced by the U.S. Census Bureau for the United States, states, counties, and cities or towns can be found on thePopulation Estimates web page. Future projections for the United States and states can be found on the Population Projections web page.

Dems’ ‘Don’t Impeach Obama’ Email Backfires

Suddenly, millions of Americans talking about ousting president

A long-time strategy of the political left has been to take its most threatening opponents – and those enemies’ most damaging arguments – and mock them, as though they’re ludicrous to even consider.

Usually, the bullying technique results in marginalizing the opponent and silencing his or her arguments.

But sometimes, it backfires.

A recent Democratic National Committee email to supporters, for example, attempted to blackball four Republican congressmen for daring to suggest President Obama could be impeached for repeated violations of the Constitution.

“Republicans are actually excited about the idea,” the email scoffed. “Show these Republicans they are way, way off-base.”

But the email may have gotten more attention than the DNC intended.

Sen. Tom Coburn says the power grab by Democratic leaders in Congress, not to mention the Obama administration's apparent disdain for the rule of law, made 2013 one of the nation's worst years.

"In both the executive branch and Congress, Americans witnessed an unwinding of the country's founding principles and of their government's most basic responsibilities," Coburn wrote Monday in an op-ed piece carried in The Wall Street Journal.

"The rule of law gave way to the rule of rulers. And the rule of reality . . . gave way to some politicians' belief that they were entitled to both their own opinions and their own facts."

"It's no wonder the institutions of government barely function," the Oklahoma Republican added.

GOP Retaliation Over Filibuster Rule Change Could Jam Senate In 2014

Senate Republicans still smarting from a Democratic rules change that diminished their power to block President Obama's appointees are vowing retribution against the majority when lawmakers return to work in January.

The GOP in the final weeks of the 2013 session provided a glimpse into what that might mean in 2014. Unable to block most presidential nominees because of the Democratic rule change, Republicans are using their remaining authority to slow the Senate to a crawl, delaying action on routine matters that typically pass uncontested.

Senate Democrats changed the rules to limit Republicans' use of the filibuster to block most presidential nominees for administration jobs and the judiciary. Only Supreme Court nominees are still subject to the filibuster.

Inequality -- Crisis Or Scam

When President Richard Nixon arrived in Beijing in 1972, Chairman Mao Zedong — with his Marxist revolution, Great Leap Forward and Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution — had achieved an equality unrivaled anywhere.

That is, until Pol Pot came along.

There seemed to be no private cars on Beijing's streets. In the stores, there was next to nothing on the shelves. The Chinese all seemed dressed in the same blue Mao jackets.

Today there are billionaires and millionaires in China, booming cities, a huge growing middle class and, yes, hundreds of millions of peasants still living on a few dollars a day.

Hence, there is far greater inequality in China today than in 1972.

Christian Agents Of The State

In spite of the obvious signs to the contrary, many of my Christian brothers and sisters continue to look upon the state as a savior of sorts. This leads them into the contradictory position that, while the aims of the state are at odds with their faith, they continue to support those very aims by remaining employed by the state or encouraging Christian youth to seek positions inside the belly of the beast.

Peaceful Secession

Here’s a question that I’ve asked in the past that needs to be revisited. Unless one wishes to obfuscate, it has a simple yes or no answer. If one group of people prefers strong government control and management of people’s lives while another group prefers liberty and desires to be left alone, should they be required to enter into conflict with one another and risk bloodshed and loss of life in order to impose their preferences on the other group? Yes or no. My answer is no; they should be able to peaceably part company and go their separate ways.

The problem our nation faces is very much like a marriage in which one partner has an established pattern of ignoring and breaking the marital vows. Moreover, the offending partner has no intention to mend his ways. Of course, the marriage can remain intact while one party tries to impose his will on the other and engages in the deviousness of one-upsmanship and retaliation. Rather than domination or submission by one party, or domestic violence, a more peaceable alternative is separation.

Fast And Furious Bombshell: ATF Whistleblower Implicates FBI In Death Of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry

Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) Special Agent John Dodson has been a whistleblower in the Fast and Furious scandal and has testified before Congress about what took place. Earlier this year, following the Inspector General’s report on Fast and Furious, Dodson sought to have a smear campaign at Fortune Magazine against him retracted, which followed the Justice Department purposefully leaking documents to smear him. This was all in preparation for his new book, which hit the shelves on December 3, which the ATFattempted to block Dodson from publishing back in October, and finally claimed he could publish it after they censored it. Following the release of the book, Dodson implicated the Federal Bureau of Investigation as part of what led to the December 14, 2010 murder of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry.

According to AZCentral, who spoke with Dodson:

A federal agent who exposed the Justice Department’s flawed gun-trafficking investigation known as Operation Fast and Furious says the FBI played a key role in events leading to the 2010 murder near Nogales, Ariz., of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry.

John Dodson, a special agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, contends that the bandits who killed Terry were working for FBI operatives and were sent to the border to do a drug rip-off using intelligence from the federal Drug Enforcement Administration.

“I don’t think the (FBI) assets were part of the rip-off crew,” Dodson said. “I think they were directing the rip crew.”

Dodson’s comments to The Arizona Republic amplify assertions he made in his recently released book, “The Unarmed Truth,” about his role as a whistle-blower in the Fast and Furious debacle.

In his book, Dodson uses cautious language to characterize his account of circumstances surrounding Terry’s death, saying the information is based on firsthand knowledge, personal opinion and press reports. He asserts that the DEA had information about, and may have orchestrated, a large drug shipment through Peck Canyon that December night. He alleges that DEA agents shared that intelligence with FBI counterparts, who advised criminal informants from another cartel that the load would be “theirs for the taking.”

Egyptian AG Charges Hillary Clinton For Conspiring With The Muslim Brotherhood

There's new details emerging about a possible threat toHillary Clinton's presidential run in 2016. The Egyptian Attorney General, Hisham Barakat, alleges that Clinton collaborated with the Muslim Brotherhood.

World Net Daily (WND) reports that Clinton has been named in a criminal complaint with Naglaa Mahmoud, the wife of ousted Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi, to incite domestic insurrections in Egypt.

The charges say that Clinton and Mahmoud conspired to topple Abdel Fattah el-Sisi. He's the Egyptian general who has been commander in chief of the Egyptian armed forces, and the minister of defense, since Aug. 12, 2012.
