Democrat Rep. Frederica Wilson led a congressional delegation to inspect an immigrant detention facility on Tuesday and following her visit she said that people who are "making fun of members of Congress" online "should be prosecuted."

"Those people who are online making fun of members of Congress are a disgrace and there is no need for anyone to think that is unacceptable," Wilson said during a press conference. "We are going to shut them down and work with whoever it is to shut them down, and they should be prosecuted."

Trump wants military tanks on the National Mall for July Fourth event

President Trump reportedly wants tanks or other armored vehicles on the National Mall for his “Salute to America” address to the nation.

The Thursday event is planned to be grandiose, with Trump ordering a flyover by military aircraft, including Air Force One and possibly an F-35 stealth fighter. About 300 servicemembers are slated to participate in the event in various capacities.

Negotiations for the use of the military vehicles are reportedly still underway, with some of the vehicles weighing 60 tons or more. The Pentagon is considering having static displays of the massive tanks and armored vehicles.

Nike pulls shoe with Betsy Ross American flag thanks to Colin Kaepernick

Sports apparel company Nike pulled a new shoe design ahead of its planned sales date because former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick complained about its featured Betsy Ross American flag design.

Kaepernick told the company it shouldn’t sell a shoe with a symbol that he and others consider offensive because the flag marked an era when slavery existed in the United States, according to the Wall Street Journal. The Betsy Ross American flag is the nickname for the design of 13 stars that represents the 13 colonies arranged in a circle.

After the company shipped the shoes to retailers, Nike asked for them to be returned without explaining why.

Veteran-owned company calls for Nike ban, issues T-shirt with Betsy Ross flag

A veteran-owned apparel company is jumping into the debate over Nike's reported decision to pull shoes with an early American flag from shelves by offering some harsh criticism and their own shirts with the 'Betsy Ross flag.'

Nine Line Apparel is a Savannah, Georgia-based company founded by a military veteran Tyler Meritt and his wife in 2012. In response to Nike's decision and the debate surrounding it, Merritt says his company Nine Line Apparel has released a t-shirt featuring the flag created during the Second Continental Congress to show unity among the original 13 colonies.

Nike became the center of debate following a report from the Wall Street Journal it decided to pull shoes with the flag on it after former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick and other people reportedly expressed concerns over the flag since it was connected to the era of slavery.

WHERE ARE THE COPS? Antifa Beats Elderly Man with Bats in Portland

An elderly man was brutally beaten by Antifa terrorists wielding baseball bats in downtown Portland. Another man who came to his defense was cracked in the skull and suffered serious injuries.

This happened during the same protest that left journalist Andy Ngo with serious head injuries after he was set upon by the leftist savages.

Serious questions need to be asked about the Portland Police Department. Why were there no officers on the scene? Were the police ordered to stand down? And if so, by whom?

The Justice Department should launch an immediate investigation.

Kellyanne Conway: AOC lied about migrants drinking water out of toilets

Kellyanne Conway called Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez a liar for saying that migrants were drinking water out of toilets in border camps.

"Chuck Schumer wants to talk about photo-ops, I saw one yesterday," the counselor to the president said Tuesday. "It's called Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez going down to one of these facilities and making this outrageous claim that a woman's drinking from a toilet that everybody who has control over that facility has said that's not true. They've not heard of this."

"And then when she was challenged by one of the few reporters who actually ever challenges her facts, she put the window up. Don't let the air conditioning out," Conway added.

Where's OSHA?

I have many friends in the construction industry who have been slammed with fines from the state, many of those charges were ridiculous. When I see a trash truck heading down Rt. 50 with a guy hanging off the back and playing around I just can't believe this is legal. Maybe it is, I don't know but when I think back at the fines my friends have experienced, this is just crazy. They don't let Firemen do it any more.

Get Outraged And Stay Outraged

There are some things so wrong that we cannot allow ourselves to get used to them. We must always be outraged over them. Always grieve over them. We can never accept them as the new status quo. The drag queen assault on our children is one of those things.

I’m talking about the celebration of little children in drag.

I’m talking about drag queens dancing for our children (and reading stories to them).

I’m talking about children posing with naked (or nearly naked) drag queens.

Kaep Humiliated As Public Learns Betsy Ross Was Part of Massive Anti-Slavery Group

Former quarterback-turned-social-justice-warrior Colin Kaepernick caused a stir right before the July Fourth holiday after somehow convincing Nike’s top brass that a patriotic shoe it was set to release represented slavery.

In a last-minute move as the Air Max 1 Quick Strike “Betsy Ross flag” shoes were hitting store shelves, Nike pulled its release and made immediately made national headlines.

And Ross’ name was subsequently dragged through the mud.

But before Kaepernick — a man who once donned socks that depicted police officers a “pigs” — continues to push the narrative that Ross’ 13-star flag somehow connects connects her to slavery, he might consider a quick lesson in U.S. history.

AOC screamed at Border Patrol agents in 'threatening manner' during tour: Witnesses

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., screamed at federal law enforcement agents “in a threatening manner” during a visit to a Border Patrol facility in El Paso, Texas, and refused to tour the facility, according to two people who witnessed the incident.

A group of 14 House Democrats, including Ocasio-Cortez, and their aides kicked off their visit to the region at about 11 a.m. MST Monday at the El Paso Station on Hondo Pass Drive. The group was standing inside the station near an area where migrants are held when Ocasio-Cortez left them to sit inside a nearby holding area with a family as the other lawmakers and aides were briefed on station operations.

“She comes out screaming at our agents, right at the beginning [of the tour] … Crying and screaming and yelling,” said one witness who said he was stunned by the outburst in front of approximately 40 people.

Red Hen restaurant owner who kicked out Sarah Sanders says 'new rules apply' for Trump officials

An owner of a Virginia restaurant that made headlines last year for refusing to serve White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders has penned a new op-ed saying Trump administration officials “should consider dining at home.”

Stephanie Wilkinson, co-owner of the Red Hen in Lexington, wrote a piece for The Washington Post on Friday that said businesses have no legal or moral obligation to do business with “unsavory” individuals. She was responding to two recent incidents in Tennessee and Illinois where restaurant workers made their opinions known. In the latter instance, a Chicago cocktail server allegedly spat upon President Trump’s son Eric Trump and was detained by Secret Service.

Ms. Wilkinson wrote that she doesn’t condone “the physical assault of a patron,” but she does recognize how restaurants have become “part of the sound stage for our ongoing national spectacle.”

Despite Bacteria Scare, Local Waters Generally Safe For Swimming

OCEAN CITY — Despite a handful of regional and national incidents of Vibrio bacteria infections, the chances of contracting the so-called “flesh-eating virus” locally remains remote although some common-sense safety tips should be observed.

With documented cases of Vibrio being reported seemingly daily up and down the east coast and in the Gulf of Mexico including one reported incident in the Delaware Bay, there does not appear to be a spike in the presence of the bacteria locally in the coastal bays and its tributaries. Nonetheless, certain strands of Vibrio are likely present in local waters where people tend to swim and recreate and a few common-sense measures can help insulate residents and visitors from contracting the illness associated with the bacteria.

According to the Worcester County Health Department, Vibrios are bacteria that occur naturally in estuarine and marine waters and belong to the same family of bacteria that causes cholera. However, there are over 80 species of Vibrio bacteria and only a handful are known to cause infection when people are exposed by open wounds, cuts or scratches while swimming, wading, crabbing or fishing. In short, not all strains of Vibrios cause human illness.

President NOT Giving Up on Census Citizenship Question

President Donald Trump insisted Wednesday that he is not dropping efforts to include a citizenship question on the upcoming 2020 census, even as the U.S. Census Bureau has started the process of printing the questionnaire without it.

"News Reports about the Department of Commerce dropping its quest to put the Citizenship Question on the Census is incorrect or, to state it differently, FAKE!" Trump said in a tweet. "We are absolutely moving forward."
