Hard To Believe
So, I pulled into the gas station just a few minutes ago and when I was walking in to pay, I noticed one of our finest officers parked on the side of the building drinking coffee. He was watching this woman who was smoking while pumping gas. I saw her too ...I was thinking this lady is CRAZY!! But anyway, I went inside and all of a sudden I heard a commotion ...I heard somebody screaming. I looked out the door and the woman's arm was on fire!!! She was swinging her arm & running around like crazy!! I saw the officer put the lady on the ground and was pouring his coffee on the fire!!! Then, he cuffed her and threw her in the back of his patrol car....Yes, that’s right! The lady who had just caught on fire was getting locked up!!... I was thinking "What kind of person smokes WHILE PUMPING GAS and thinks nothing's going to happen?!" Just dumb! So being the inquisitive person that I am....I saw the officer standing by my car so I asked him, "What did she do?" He looked me dead in the face and said, “WAVING A FIREARM!”
Now, which of of you actually read this to the end? I'd love to know? Now that you have read this fable, it's late, get to bed!

Democrats Weaponize Race And Immigration In Their Quest For A ‘Permanent Democratic Majority’
Leftists’ approach to seizing and holding onto power would almost be admirable in terms of its ingenuity, if it weren’t so devious. First, expand the voter base to include literally everyone, with or without a pulse. Whether you’re a 16-year-old just figuring out that eating Tide-Pods isn’t the cool thing it seemed like in your head, an illegal immigrant just learning how to properly pronounce the word “asylum,” a convicted rapist on parole, or a prisoner literally in prison serving your sentence, Democrats think you have what it takes to select America’s next slate of leaders. And if you’re dead and they can figure out a way to avoid getting caught, hell they’ll ‘let’ you vote too, if only because they know for SURE which direction THAT lever is going to turn.
Then, expand their voter base even further by importing as many fresh leftist-leaning potential voters as possible. The more the merrier, they say, even if it costs their former middle-class working base lower wages and tougher competition in the job market.
Finally, make themselves virtually immune to criticism for what they’re doing. That’s because there’s something you aren’t supposed to notice about all these leftist-leaning future voters - they’re almost always from Third World nations. There’s also something else, something you’re REALLY not supposed to notice - of late, these leftist-leaning future voters are almost always non-white.

Ford Police Interceptor Utility test drive: The fastest police car is Ford's new SUV
The new Ford Police Interceptor Utility is the fastest police pursuit vehicle in the U.S.A..
The Explorer based-SUV is available with at 400 hp twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 that delivers top performance, according to the Michigan State Police benchmark tests. It’s quicker and faster around a track than the competitor’s sedans, not to mention the discontinued Taurus-based cruiser. Its 1:36:47 lap time around Grattan Raceway beating the all-wheel-drive Dodge Charger Hemi V8's 1:37:10.
But the pursuit-rated SUV is also offered as a hybrid that combines a 3.3-liter V6 and an electric motor tucked between it and a 10-speed transmission. It’s not a plug-in, but it does have enough juice in the battery pack to run the air conditioning, lights, computers and even a radar gun for extended periods without needing to constantly idle the engine. Ford said in tests the engine only runs 20 percent of the time compared to the last-generation Interceptor Utility when parked.

Trump tweets ICE will begin removing 'millions' of undocumented migrants
President Trump on Monday night tweeted that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) will begin deporting "millions" of undocumented immigrants next week.
"Next week ICE will begin the process of removing the millions of illegal aliens who have illicitly found their way into the United States. They will be removed as fast as they come in," Trump tweeted.
He added that Mexico is "doing a very good job of stopping people long before they get to our Southern Border" and noted that Guatemala is "getting ready" to sign an agreement under which potential refugees would be required to apply for benefits in the country where they first land.
"Mexico, using their strong immigration laws, is doing a very good job of stopping people long before they get to our Southern Border. Guatemala is getting ready to sign a Safe-Third Agreement," Trump added.

Did Your Child Return From College a Better Person?
When assessing America's or any of the Western world's universities -- wondering whether you should send your child to one; whether you should pay for a child to attend one; whether you should go into great debt to attend one; whether you should donate money to one; and related questions -- it would seem that the single most important question to be answered is: What type of person does the university produce?
It is hard to imagine any parent -- left, right, liberal, conservative or apolitical -- who would disagree with asking this question. They would disagree about what constituted a desirable outcome -- obviously left-wing parents would want their child's college to send home a child with left-wing views, and a parent on the right would not be happy if their child returned home with left-wing views -- but every parent would agree that the question, "What type of person did college produce?" is an important one.
My belief is that most of the time, colleges today produce a worse human being or, at the very least, a person who is no better, wiser or more mature than when he or she graduated high school.
Let's begin with behavioral issues.

Baltimore County teachers, law enforcement, and mental health service providers will learn about the Handle With Care Maryland program and its benefits for students during the 24th Annual Baltimore County Safe Schools Conference. Handle With Care is a program designed to address adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) through coordinated, trauma-sensitive practices. Governor Larry Hogan, through the Governor's Office of Crime Control and Prevention, has prioritized developing initiatives and supporting programs designed to reduce the impact of ACEs, on Maryland's young people. Kelly Gorman, statewide Handle With Care Coordinator, will be training Baltimore County law enforcement, school teachers, and administrators, as well as mental health service providers on their specific roles within the program and how they can help children in Baltimore County. Handle With Care begins with first responders sending a notice to schools after encountering a child at the scene of a traumatic event. That notice then goes to trusted adults before the bell rings the next day so they can support the child should any signs of trauma or uncharacteristic behavior arise.
Handle With Care began in West Virginia in response to the opioid crisis. In February 2018, Governor Hogan announced that Maryland would adopt the program and implement the practice statewide. So far, 11 counties have adopted the program and six other jurisdictions (including Baltimore County) are set to pilot in the fall. More training will be provided during the inaugural Handle With Care Summit occurring on July 31 of this year.

Attorney General Frosh Asks Congress to Take Action to Protect Integrity of America’s Elections
Coalition of AGs asks for grants, security standards, and bipartisan election-security legislation to address “persistent threats to our election systems”
BALTIMORE, MD (June 18, 2019) – Maryland Attorney General Brian E. Frosh has joined a coalition of 22 attorneys general in expressing a “significant concern regarding the persistent threats to our election systems.” The attorneys general are asking Congress to take action to protect the integrity of America’s elections.
In a letter addressed to key U.S. Senators, Attorney General Frosh and the other attorneys general ask Congress to provide additional election security grants to states and localities, support the establishment of cybersecurity and audit standards for election systems, and pass bipartisan election-security legislation. Today’s letter follows up on a similar letter that attorneys general from 21 states sent to Congress in July 2018.
“It’s highly likely that Russia will be coming after our elections again in 2020,” said Attorney General Frosh. “The Trump administration has not taken sufficient action to combat this threat to our national security. Without fair elections, there is no democracy. I urge Congress to step in to ensure that no one is able to hijack our elections ever again.”
The attorneys general cite the existence of warnings that “our election systems have been a target for foreign adversaries and that those same adversaries are currently working to undermine the upcoming elections.” Their letter follows confirmed reports that Russia successfully breached election systems in Florida, installed malware on voting-systems software used in North Carolina, and targeted the election systems of all 50 states in 2016.
In addition to Maryland, the letter to Congress was signed by the attorneys general of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, and Washington.
Nearly half of young people aren't using deodorant, poll finds
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — There are two essential things when you're out in the Carolina heat during summer: a cold drink and deodorant.
But according to a new poll, an alarming amount of folks are ditching their deodorant altogether. The poll found that about 40% of people 18-24 don't use deodorant at all and haven't in the last month.
For their slightly older peers 25-34, the results aren't much better. A whopping 31% of those polled said they also don't use deodorant. If you're trying to limit the aluminum in your body, we can understand that. But there are plenty of alternatives on the market.
The poll found it's not negligence or a lack of personal hygiene. They simply don't think they need it. So, we asked the Wake Up Charlotte audience what they thought. Needless to say, deodorant is an absolute must-have.

State Dept. identifies 23 violations, 'multiple security incidents' concerning Clinton emails
The State Department revealed Monday that it has identified "multiple security incidents" involving current or former employees' handling of Hillary Clinton's emails, and that 23 "violations" and seven "infractions" have been issued as part of the department's ongoing investigation.
The information came in a letter to Iowa Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley, who is responsible for overseeing the security review.
"To this point, the Department has assessed culpability to 15 individuals, some of whom were culpable in multiple security incidents," Mary Elizabeth Taylor, the State Department's Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of Legislative Affairs, wrote to Grassley. "DS has issued 23 violations and 7 infractions incidents. ... This number will likely change as the review progresses."
The State Department, calling the matter "serious," said it expected to conclude the investigation by Sept. 1. The department acknowledged that the probe was unusually time-consuming.

Hong Kong Nearly Doubles Anti-China Protest Size to 2 Million, Largest in History
The Civil Human Rights Front (CHRF), the group organizing protests against a proposed extradition law in Hong Kong, announced that nearly 2 million people attended protests on Sunday, the largest recorded assembly in the history of Hong Kong, according to the Hong Kong Free Press (HKFP).
The figure is even more impressive given that the protest occurred after Hong Kong chief executive Carrie Lam issued a formal government apology, through a statement from the government written in the third person, and assured those concerned in Hong Kong that the legislature would table the extradition bill.
Sunday’s protesters rejected the apology and demanded Lam’s resignation and an irreversible end to the extradition bill.
The CHRF called Lam’s apology a “total insult” and vowed to continue protesting until the legislature dismisses the bill entirely. Tabling the bill makes it possible for the legislature to pick it up and pass it again at any time, a concern many protesters expressed.

Angel Dad Yet to See ‘Real Justice’ for Daughter Killed by Illegal Alien
Angel Dad Chris Odette has yet to see any justice for the death of his daughter, Chrishia, who was killed by an illegal alien in 2014.
Days before Father’s Day, Odette retold the story of Chrishia’s death in a podcast with the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR). Odette says that despite years passing, there has been no charges or conviction of the illegal alien who hit and killed 13-year-old Chrishia in a car crash on September 12, 2014.
“There has been no real justice for my daughter,” Odette said.
Odette said on the night of his daughter’s death, Chrishia asked him to spend the night at a friend’s house but that he initially told her no. Odette, though, said he eventually agreed to drop Chrishia off at the friend’s home to spend the night after recalling that his deceased wife had told him “not to be overprotective” and to “let her live and enjoy life.”
“I gave my daughter a hug goodnight and she ran inside excited to spend the night with friends,” Odette said.
About 30 minutes later, Odette received word that Chrishia had been in an accident and rushed to the friends’ house only to get into a car accident, himself, on the way. From the accident, police took Odette to the hospital to see Chrishia.
“They took me into the emergency room entrance … and a doctor came to me and asked me what my daughter’s name was,” Odette said. “And I told Chrishia and I heard them tell another doctor … that Jane Doe’s name was Chrishia. He told me her injuries were pretty severe.”

US to Withhold Hundreds of Millions in Central America Aid
President Donald Trump's administration on Monday cut hundreds of millions of dollars in aid to El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras, after Trump blasted the three countries because thousands of their citizens had sought asylum at the U.S. border with Mexico.
The plan will likely encounter stiff opposition in Congress.
Lawmakers, including some of Trump's fellow Republicans as well as Democrats, have chafed against the president's repeated decisions to disregard spending bills passed by Congress, some of which he has signed into law himself.
Lawmakers who opposed the plan said it was cruel to cut off aid to countries grappling with hunger and crime and that the move would be counterproductive because it would more likely increase the number of migrants than decrease it.
Congressional aides said the administration told them it would reallocate $370 million in aid to Central America that lawmakers had approved for fiscal 2018, and suspend an additional $180 million Congress had approved for fiscal 2017.
All of the money for those years has not yet been spent.

FNC’s Pirro Says Trump Won’t Be Impeached, Highlights Democrat Double Standard on Foreign ‘Dirt’
On Saturday’s broadcast of Fox News Channel’s “Justice,” host Jeanine Pirro opened her show by sounding off on Democrat reaction to President Donald Trump’s comments to ABC’s George Stephanopoulos acknowledging he would consider “dirt” from foreigners on political opponents before notifying the FBI.
Pirro downplayed the relevance of Trump’s remarks and declared impeachment was not a possibility at this point.
“This week’s orchestrated outrage by the Democrats against Donald Trump is one of hundreds we’ve seen in the last two-and-a-half years, and it amounts to nothing,” Pirro said. “It’s never about reality, but simply the fact that they hate him. They accuse him of committing crimes over and over where there are none. Donald Trump is transparent, unlike other politicians. That’s why he was elected. That’s why people love him. Now, the left wants you to believe that they would never do what Donald Trump suggested he might. He’s not going to be impeached. I’m here to tell you that the bottom line is they hate him. They hate his style. And I’m here to tell you that his legacy will be decided at the polls and not in Congress or in the courts.

Special agents renew efforts against female genital mutilation at Dulles airport
WASHINGTON – Special Agents with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) this week brought Operation Limelight USA, a pilot program designed to bring awareness to Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and deter its practice, back to Washington Dulles International Airport for the second time.
Operation Limelight USA is a program designed by HSI’s Human Rights Violators and War Crimes Unit to bring awareness to FGM and deter its practice through the education of the public about the relevant risks.
From June 12-13, specially trained agents distributed educational material to travelers, and made themselves available for questions and conversation with individuals who represented a wide range of understanding about the issue.
McConnell Plans Free-standing Bill for Border Humanitarian Crisis Funds
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said Monday he'll present a free-standing bill next week to allocate money to relieve the humanitarian crisis at the nation's border after Senate Democrats insisted on removing the measure from the recently-passed supplemental disaster bill.
"Last week or two ago we passed a supplemental (bill) for the floods, storm, damages we had in Puerto Rico, Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Iowa, and Nebraska," the Kentucky Republican told Fox News' "Fox and Friends." "In the Senate, we wanted to add to it roughly $5 billion the president requested to deal, not with the wall, but just the humanitarian part of the crisis at the border. The Democrats insisted on taking it out."
He said once the bill is brought up as a free-standing measure, it will be seen whether Democrats are truly interested in dealing with the humanitarian crisis at the border.

Emails: Obama State Dept. Official Introduced Christopher Steele to Clinton Foundation-Tied Execs
While he was an official at the Obama State Department, staffer Jonathan M. Winer facilitated a meeting between anti-Trump dossier author Christopher Steele and the senior director of a firm that did extensive pro bono work for the Clinton Global Initiative.
A second introduction was made to an executive from a strategic advisory firm founded by Bill Clinton’s first White House chief of staff who later served as Clinton’s counselor.
Winer made the introductions in question and also attempted to facilitate a series of other meetings for Steele utilizing his official State Department email address, as documented by emails obtained in a joint lawsuit by Judicial Watch and The Daily Caller News Foundation.

Kenya, Tanzania on High Alert as Illegal Border Crossings Bring Ebola to Uganda
Kenya identified a potential Ebola patient on Monday and Tanzania announced heightened security measures this weekend amid a growing Ebola outbreak that spilled over into Uganda from Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) last week, the second-worst outbreak of the virus on record.
The director general of World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, landed in Uganda on Monday to evaluate the situation after the nation documented its first two Ebola deaths, a five-year-old boy and a woman believed to be his grandmother. The boy, his younger sibling, his grandmother, and several other relatives crossed the border into DRC from Uganda to attend the funeral of his grandfather, a confirmed Ebola victim. A third person has died of the virus since the government announced the first two cases.
The Ugandan Ministry of Health confirmed Ghebreyesus’s visit on Monday. In a statement, spokesman Emmanuel Ainebyoona said that the WHO chief had “come to assess the readiness of the teams on the ground.”

Trump-aligned group to spend $20M on voter registration
America First Policies, a nonprofit that supports President Trump’s agenda, will launch a $20 million campaign Tuesday to register voters in four states that could determine whether the president gets a second term.
It will start by registering people who attend Mr. Trump’s 2020 kickoff rally at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.
The group believes there are 9 million unregistered, eligible voters up for grab in the vital swing state.
Besides Florida, it is looking to register voters in Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Georgia — electoral vote-rich states Mr. Trump won in 2016 and will likely need again to defeat whoever emerges from the crowded Democratic primary field.
“There are millions of patriotic Americans who believe in the America First movement, but aren’t registered to vote,” America First Policies President Brian Walsh said. “Returning power to the people requires an active, engaged citizenry.”

Deep State Players Lash Out At Trump
Apparently, anything is permissible until it benefits the president, at which point it becomes a crime...
Politicians of all stripes quickly learn how to avoid giving straight answers to questions. Donald Trump is the first president in living memory who is not a politician, though, and he has not mastered the art of evasion. Either that or he simply prefers to take questions head-on. This tactic does not always serve him well, and his answer to a recent interview question opened the door for his detractors to pile on. Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe and former CIA Director John Brennan were both resurrected by the media to respond to Trump’s recent remarks regarding foreign influence in U.S. elections.
When ABC’s George Stephanopoulos asked Trump whether his son, Donald Trump Jr., should have contacted the FBI after being invited in 2016 to meet with a Russian national who allegedly offered dirt on Hillary Clinton, the president answered, “Give me a break – life doesn’t work that way.”
The ensuing exchange led Stephanopoulos to ask the president: “Your campaign this time around, if foreigners, if Russia, if China, if someone else offers you information on opponents, should they accept it or should they call the FBI?” Trump responded that, perhaps, the person in question should do both; look at the information being offered and notify the FBI. Stephanopoulos suggested this amounts to foreign interference in an American election, to which Trump responded: “It’s not an interference [sic]. They have information – I think I’d take it. If I thought there was something wrong, I’d go maybe to the FBI – if I thought there was something wrong.”

Broadway Play About Clintons to Close One Month Early
The Broadway production of a play about Bill and Hillary Clinton talking frankly about her 2008 presidential campaign will close a month ahead of schedule, due to low ticket sales.
Starring Laurie Metcalf and John Lithgow, Hillary and Clinton was set to close on July 21 but will instead close June 23. It cost $4.2 million to produce.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, "Hillary and Clinton is not based on the real Clintons, but instead characters with the same name in an alternate universe," and its early closing is linked to "underwhelming ticket sales." Set in a New Hampshire hotel room during that state's 2008 Democratic primary, it touches on marriage and sexism in politics.

CA Pension Fund Faces Crisis After Shunning Guns, Tobacco
California's public pension fund is facing an internal crisis over its past decisions to restrict its investments to socially conscious causes. A report from the Wall Street Journal indicates it is considering pivoting away from its socially conscious divesting to address its increasing budget crisis.
The California Public Employees Retirement System, simply known as Calpers, is wrestling with a budget deficit that is partially a result of the fund's decision to ban investments in tobacco companies, the report states.
The fund missed out on more than $3.5 billion due to its divestment from tobacco stocks, a December 2016 recommendation found. The Journal reported that the fund made the decision to divest from tobacco stocks in 2000. The decision cost it billions over a 16 year period.

DCCC policy to blacklist consultants who work for primary challengers backfires
House Democrats were hoping to stifle internal fights with their new policy to blacklist consultants who work for candidates challenging sitting lawmakers.
It’s backfired, say consultants and liberal activists who not only continue to protest the move by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, but have begun to recruit candidates to challenge the policy.
Progressive groups have cheered on challengers to two sitting House Democrats, one in Texas and one in Illinois, saying the party needs to purge itself of lawmakers who don’t toe the line on abortion, “Medicare for All” and other liberal priorities.
And Rebecca Katz, founder of progressive consulting firm New Deal Strategies, says the attention brought by the DCCC’s ban has only boosted the rebels.

Fox News contributor faces racist taunts from leftist protesters
A pair of anti-Trump protesters directed racist abuse at Fox News contributor Lawrence Jones at a New York City rally over the weekend.
Jones, the editor-in-chief of Campus Reform, was interviewing participants at the demonstration held by the NYC Coalition to Impeach Donald Trump at Foley Square in Lower Manhattan on Saturday when he was heckled.
According to a Fox News producer at the scene, two men walked up to Jones near the end of the rally and told him to go back to Fox News "where there's more cotton for you to pick."

USA POWERLIFTING FEDERATION PREPARES TO DEFEND TRANSGENDER ATHLETE POLICY IN COURT
USA Powerlifting is facing a discrimination complaint in Minnesota over its transgender athlete policy after it said JayCee Cooper, a biological man, couldn’t compete in women’s events. The federation’s president told The Daily Caller it’s prepared to go to court to keep the policy in place, and framed the policy as protecting the federal rights of women.
“At some point, we are going to have to defend the biology and stand on women being a protected class, and it might as well start in Minnesota,” Larry Maile, USA Powerlifting president, told the Caller. The policy is not new, but the federation commissioned a group of experts to find out if it’s backed by science earlier this year, after the dispute with Cooper thrust them into the media spotlight late last year. The results were clear: It’s unfair to allow biological men to compete with women.
A Minnesota legal nonprofit, Gender Justice, filed the complaint with the Minnesota Department of Human Rights last week on behalf of Cooper, asserting the policy illegally discriminates against people on the basis of gender identity. Sexual orientation is a protected class in Minnesota.

Feds ‘Actively Working’ on Crackdown on Welfare-Dependent Immigration
Federal immigration officials at the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) agency are “actively working” to enforce President Donald Trump’s recent crackdown on welfare-dependent legal immigration to the U.S.
In a memo last week, Acting USCIS Director Ken Cuccinelli said that staff would “develop and implement guidance” on Trump’s presidential memorandum signed last month that mandates American taxpayers be reimbursed when a legal immigrant uses public welfare.
The order signed by Trump will enforce existing 1996 laws known as the “Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act” and “Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act,” which were signed by then-President Bill Clinton.

Maine House rejects National Popular Vote bill
Maine’s House is now opposing a proposal to join states pledging to award Electoral College tallies to the national popular vote winner in presidential elections.
The bill received push-back in a 68-79 vote Monday in the House.
That vote’s not enough to join the National Vote Interstate Compact. The agreement would only kick in when enough states join to reach 270 electoral votes.
Some Democrats in Maine’s House have flipped back and forth on supporting the bill.
