Father of Murdered Florida Mother Reveals Suspected Killer Was DACA Recipient
The father of a Florida woman murdered outside a bar in Naples, Florida has revealed that the man who allegedly shot his daughter was a convicted illegal alien protected by the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
In a piece by Howie Carr, the columnist talks about the phone call he received from a man who said his daughter was murdered by a DACA recipient.
I got a call Friday from a man on the Cape named Curt. He wanted to tell me his own family’s experience with a “dreamer” in Florida last January.
“He murdered my daughter outside a bar in Naples,” Curt said. “They said he was a ‘Dreamer.’ She was 24. What about my daughter’s dreams? And her daughter’s – she left a 2-year-old girl. If you’re an American murdered by one of these people, I guess you don’t get to dream.”

Natural Resources Police Report Seven Boating Accidents During Holiday Weekend
A Talbot County waterman died and seven boat accidents were reported across the state during the extended Labor Day holiday weekend, the Maryland Natural Resources Police said.
************************************************
Stephen Robert Price, 53, of Trappe, died Monday morning after he apparently fell from a commercial boat he was working on and drowned. A citizen reported seeing a man’s body floating at the boat ramp on South Morris Street in Oxford about 8 a.m.
Another waterman said Price had been baiting crab trotlines before he went missing. Price’s cooler and shirt were found on the pier near the boat.
The body was taken to the state medical examiner’s office in Baltimore City for an autopsy. Foul play is not suspected.
************************************************
The state did not have a boating-related fatality during the 2017 Labor Day holiday weekend and it recorded just five boating accidents that resulted in injury or property damage.
Rainy weather on the first day of the weekend reduced the level of boating activity. Officers arrested five people for operating under the influence of alcohol, down three from the previous year. A total of 405 citations were issued, an 11 percent drop, and 658 written warnings were issued, a decrease of 29 percent.
Officers conducted 1,180 free boat safety inspections, checked 3,905 anglers and interacted with 4,063 state land and park visitors.

A Frederick man was charged Friday with illegal fishing by officers checking anglers at the Matapeake Pier on Kent Island.
Jay Lewis Cullop, 54, received citations for exceeding the daily limit of summer flounder, possessing undersized summer flounder and possessing undersized striped bass.
Officers approached Cullop as he was packing up his gear and asked if he had caught any fish that day. He replied that he had caught fish the previous two days at the Romancoke Pier. When officers checked his cooler, they found the 15 undersized fish.
Cullop is scheduled to appear in Queen Anne’s County District Court Nov. 2. If found guilty, he could be fined as much as $1,000 for each violation.

A Virginia man faces trial in December for importing undersized crabs and attempting to sell them to a Salisbury seafood dealer.
Acting on a tip, officers stopped a truck being driven by John Dennis Diamond, 33, of Melfa, and found 32 bushels of male blue crabs inside. The driver stated that the crabs came from Virginia waters.
Officers measured the crabs and found that 19 bushels contained crabs that were less than the 5-inch minimum size in Virginia. Diamond was issued 19 citations and 278 undersized crabs were returned to the water.
Diamond is scheduled to appear in Wicomico County District Court Dec. 5. If found guilty, he could be fined as much as $1,000 on each count.

Officers conducting surveillance last week at the Kent Narrows Public Landing in Queen Anne’s County charged four men with illegal fishing.
Ignacio DeJesus Rivas Pereira, 35, of Silver Spring, received citations for possessing eight undersized striped bass and for exceeding the daily limit of two fish.
Pablo Velasquez Garcia, 36, of Adelphi, was charged with possessing 10 undersized black bass.
Elmer Alexander Lazo Parada, 35, and Daniel Arsides Lazo Parada, 29, both of Hyattsville, were each charged with possessing eight undersized striped bass and for exceeding the daily limit of two fish. They each were charged with littering on state waterways after approaching officers saw the men toss a plastic bag filled with fish overboard.
All four men are scheduled to appear in Queen Anne’s County District Court Oct. 19. Each illegal fishing citation carries a maximum fine of $1,000. The littering charge carries a pre-payable $125 fine.
EPA May Curtail Use Of Monsanto Herbicide
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is considering banning use of the herbicide dicamba after the chemical reportedly damaged other crops by drifting into areas neighboring sprayed fields, Reuters reports.
The ban could be implemented sometime in 2018, and would cut into the profits of Monsanto, which sells agricultural goods internationally, and DuPont, a science and engineering company that operates around the world.
A task force in Arkansas is advising the state to create an April 15 cutoff date for dicamba application. The EPA may consider something similar.
“If the EPA imposed a April 15 cut-off date for dicamba spraying, that would be catastrophic for Xtend – it invalidates the entire point of planting it,” Bernstein analyst Jonas Oxgaard told Reuters.

Police Officer Who Arrested Utah Nurse Fired From Medic Job
SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City detective accused of unfairly arresting a University of Utah Hospital nurse has been fired from his part-time job as a paramedic with Gold Cross Ambulance.
"The determination we made was best for everyone concerned, that we separate our ways and let Jeff go," said Mike Moffitt, president of Gold Cross Ambulance.
Moffitt said Gold Cross placed Payne on administrative leave on Friday because of comments he made in body camera footage from the July arrest of nurse Alex Wubbels. The footage was released on Thursday.
"I wonder how this will affect my Gold Cross job?" Payne says in the body cam footage. Another officer asks "Do you work up here?"

Judge Roy Moore: ‘It’s Time We End Federal Government’s Involvement in Education’
In a video message posted to his Twitter account, former Alabama Supreme Court Justice Roy Moore says it is time to end the federal government’s involvement in education and allow parents to take the lead in how best to educate their children.
“Education has always been in the purview of the parent,” explains Moore, who is running against establishment GOP candidate Luther Strange in Alabama’s U.S. Senate primary runoff for the seat vacated by now-Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
“They know best how to educate their children,” he continues. “The states have various forms of education, but the federal government has no involvement in education under the Constitution.”

Steelers legend reveals what would’ve happened if Kaepernick knelt for anthem 40 years ago
NFL Hall of Famer Franco Harris doesn’t agree with Colin Kaepernick’s decision to protest during the national anthem, saying players 40 years ago wouldn’t have allowed him to act that way.
During an interview with Mediaite’s John Ziegler, the former Steelers running back was asked if he believed Kaepernick has been blackballed by NFL organizations for his decision to kneel during the national anthem before football games last year. The quarterback has remained unsigned since opting out of his contract with the 49ers in March.
Harris said Kaepernick is free to voice his personal opinion on issues, but he could have done so without involving the NFL.
When asked how his teammates from the 1970s and 1980s would have handled Kaepernick’s protesting, Harris suggested they wouldn’t have tolerated it.

Reaction mixed to Md. schools starting after Labor Day
BURTONSVILLE, Md. — As a new school year got underway in Montgomery County on Tuesday, students in Maryland’s largest school system headed back to class with mixed feelings about their longer summer break.
Gov. Larry Hogan signed an executive order requiring, with few exceptions, public schools across the state to start classes after the Labor Day holiday. It’s the first time Maryland students went back to class in September in more than two decades.
“Lots of staff members and families are worried about students not having enough engagement during the summer and losing ground,” said Jack Smith, superintendent of Montgomery County Public Schools. “Sometimes, for families too, during the last couple of weeks child care becomes a real challenge.”
Other education leaders heard similar concerns.

Tracking Military Weaponry Flowing To America's Local Police Departments
Last week, Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced President Donald Trump's plan to distribute military gear to state and local law enforcement agencies.
The rule change means weapons typically reserved for war-time use – tracked armored (tank-like) vehicles, weaponized aircraft and vessels, grenade launchers, bayonets, and firearms with ammunition of .50-caliber or higher – will start flowing to local law enforcement agencies through the Department of Defense’s 1033 Program.
Yes, the story is familiar. In 2016, we sounded the alarm at Forbesabout the Obama administration sending heavy weapons to local police departments.
We noted that people of good faith on both the left and right were raising serious concerns regarding civil liberties and the growth of government.
Today, the same questions are valid: What’s the legitimate law enforcement purpose for these weapons? Does the militarization of local police threaten our civil liberties?

University Pledges To Keep Giving Financial Aid To Illegal Immigrant Students
Wake Forest University promised in a Monday statement to continue giving financial aid to illegal immigrant students.
The university offered counseling services and safe spaces in the letter sent in preparation for President Donald Trump’s termination of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, which enables some illegal immigrants that entered the U.S. as minors to apply for a work permit and obtain a renewable two-year period of deferred actions.
“Wake Forest is here to support all our students, including those who are not U.S. citizens,” the university said. “We are a campus that welcomes diverse people and viewpoints. Our campus is richer for our diverse population and we will continue to provide financial aid, support services, and connection to legal resources for undocumented students.”
“You belong here and you are welcome here,” Wake Forest’s statement added.

With or Without North Korea, There Is No Moral Justification for Trade with China
President Donald Trump has alarmed the Chinese government again with a threat to cut economic ties to nations that do business with North Korea.
China is North Korea’s largest trading partner and a major player in the U.S. market. Trump will face heavy criticism suggesting that no trade warnings will get China to abandon its fellow communist state and North Korea may never react rationally to international pressure. These concerns, like North Korea itself, are not relevant to the real reason America cannot morally justify trade with China: its decades of history committing flagrant human rights abuses, the kind that have gotten countries like Cuba blacklisted from the American market for decades.
Following North Korea’s announcement of yet another nuclear bomb test on Sunday – its sixth such test and, Pyongyang claims, its first successful hydrogen bomb attack – President Trump took to Twitter, scolding South Korea’s leftist government for believing dialogue with the regime was an option and threatening military action against North Korea.

‘More questions than answers’: Md. campuses react to decision ending DACA program
University of Maryland President Wallace Loh |
The DACA program gave nearly 800,000 young people who were brought into the country illegally as children a reprieve from deportation and the ability to work legally in the U.S. in the form of two-year, renewable work permits. Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced on Tuesday that the program was “an unconstitutional exercise of authority” and “is being rescinded.”
Students have been calling Montgomery College’s administrative offices, asking what they should do. President DeRionne Pollard said the college will continue to find ways to support those students as the plan to dismantle DACA moves forward.
Pollard said the college has 300 students who are in the DACA program, and another 250 students who have temporary protected status. After hearing the announcement by the Trump Administration on its plans for DACA, she said, “We’ve been left with more questions than answers.”

Chesapeake man charged with stealing almost $129,000 in disability payments
Winston Lee Wise wasn’t supposed to work, according to court documents.
Really, he wasn’t supposed to even be able to work. He claimed to have been injured on the job so badly in 1987 that he eventually qualified as totally disabled, the documents said.
So what do federal prosecutors claim he’s been doing for 12 of the past 14 years?
Working.
Wise, 72, of Chesapeake, made his initial appearance Friday in U.S. District Court in Norfolk on nine felonies relating to the fraudulent receipt of almost $129,000 in worker’s compensation money.
Special Assistant U.S. Attorney David Layne declined to comment on the case, as did Wise’s public defender, Andrew Grindrod.

Breaking News: The White House and congressional leaders agreed to raise the debt limit and fund the government for 3 months, avoiding a showdown for now
President Trump and congressional leaders agreed on Wednesday to increase the debt limit and fund the government until December, after the president sided with Democratic leaders over reluctant Republicans on a deal that would set up a fiscal showdown for year’s end. |
Democrats announced the agreement moments after the House passed a first installment of relief from Hurricane Harvey. White House officials then confirmed it. |
“Both sides have every intention of avoiding default in December and look forward to working together on the many issues before us,” the top Democrats in Congress, Senator Chuck Schumer and Representative Nancy Pelosi, said in a statement. |

Thieves loot elderly woman's flooded home with her body still inside
Houston, Texas — A Houston woman swam through 10-foot deep floodwaters to check on her 89-year-old neighbor.
Michele Poche told KTRK that she called Agnes Stanley's son and got permission to break a window to try and rescue her.
Sadly, she was too late.
"We saw that she was under the water, and we backed out and called 911," Poche said. "We think that the water got too high and she may have drowned."
The Harris County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed Stanley downed and her body was recovered two days later.
Eventually, a dark truth came to light: thieves had ransacked the woman's home while her body was still inside.

Wells Fargo now accused of unfair home-mortgage rate hikes
Wells Fargo apparently had more than one way to cheat customers who were refinancing their homes.
The scandal-plagued bank’s Beverly Hills, Calif. branch routinely talked clients into paying higher interest rates in order to avoid fees for delays in processing mortgage-refinancing deals, a whistleblower told The Post.
That’s despite the fact that Wells Fargo’s understaffed team of loan officers at the Beverly Hills office were usually responsible for the processing delays, according to Frank Chavez, a former loan officer who has blown the whistle on other questionable tactics at the nation’s third-biggest bank.
The latest accusation comes to light less than a week after a federal class-action suit accused the beleaguered bank of delaying mortgage loans and refinancings — and then tricking customers into paying extension, or “rate lock,” fees in order to keep their agreed-upon interest rate.
As an alternative to those fees, which could easily surpass $1,000 for a $400,000 home, loan officers frequently suggested bumping up the mortgage rate by as much as a quarter of a percentage point — a hike which, over the long run, could cost customers far more.
“It sucked for everybody except the managers, who were looking good because they were keeping their expenses down,” Chavez told The Post.

Americans Overdoing it with Prescription Drugs
More than half of Americans — 55 percent — are taking four different prescription medications on average, more than ever before in U.S. history and, by far, the greatest percentage of any country on Earth.
That’s the key conclusion of a new analysis in Consumer Reports that notes the record rate of prescriptions is in addition to daily vitamins, dietary supplements, and other over-the-counter medications taken by tens of millions of Americans.
So, are Americans relying on too many medications in the quest for good health? The answer may lie not in the number of prescriptions, but in an analysis of complex medical conditions and how they are treated.
Emily P. Peron, assistant professor of pharmacotherapy and a clinical researcher at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, said that the challenge is determining who really needs multiple medications and when such drugs may do more harm than good.
“If you have a heart attack you come out of the hospital with at least seven drugs,” she tells Newsmax Health.
Peron, who works primarily with patients age 65 and up, specializes in managing multiple medications. A common problem she sees is patients who continue to stay on medications — or certain dosages — long after they may have out-lived their usefulness.

Battle Brewing on Capitol Hill as Establishment Aims to Link Hurricane Harvey Aid with Debt Ceiling Hike
As the swamp establishment in Washington plans to move on legislation that would provide funding relief to the Gulf Coast—particularly Houston—in the wake of Hurricane Harvey by linking it to a debt ceiling increase of $2 trillion, conservatives inside and outside of Congress are launching efforts to expose and thwart the plan.
The process the establishment—House Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell are complicit in this—plans to employ is to first, on Wednesday morning, pass out of the House a so-called “clean” Harvey relief package. On Thursday, the Senate will add to that and tie it to the debt ceiling bill that would raise the debt ceiling by $2 trillion. That means the debt ceiling would be raised past the 2018 midterm elections with no reform whatsoever to spending or government. Then, the Senate would kick that back to the House for final approval before being sent to the president.

L.A.’s Gift to Trump
The city council bans Columbus Day, echoing the Ku Klux Klan.
To paraphrase Marx, all great historical events occur twice: first as tragedy, second as some action by the Los Angeles City Council. The latest demonstration came Wednesday when the council banished Columbus Day from the city calendar. Henceforth in L.A., the second Monday in October will be Indigenous Peoples Day.
We have no dispute with any group or city that wishes to celebrate the culture and achievements of indigenous peoples. Such celebrations are a staple of American life and contribute in their way to e pluribus unum.
But L.A.’s move isn’t about celebrating. It’s about indicting anything that represents Western civilization, as Christopher Columbus most certainly does. So how ironic that in deposing the Italian explorer, Los Angeles council members find themselves taking the side of the Ku Klux Klan of the early 20th century—whose nativism led it to oppose statues, memorials and days devoted to Columbus because he was Catholic, Southern European and called to mind the new waves of non-English immigrants at the time.
That’s precisely the danger of applying modern sensibilities to judge people from the past. Columbus had his faults, and honest histories address them. But if we honored only saints, few would make it onto pedestals.
If Columbus has to go, does FDR’s wartime internment of Japanese-Americans mean we tear down his memorial on the national mall? Most Americans sensibly would say no, but today it’s the vandals who are ascendant, here attacking a bust of Lincoln in Chicago, there beheading a Columbus statue in New York, there desecrating a Joan of Arc statue in New Orleans.
So perhaps it’s fitting that an L.A. City Council that thinks it is leading a politically correct charge is really completing the work urged by an earlier generation of haters and nativists. We wonder if the council knows it has given President Trump a political gift by demonstrating that what so many on the left really oppose is the larger triumph of Western civilization.

Black Va GOP Candidate: 'Keep Statues Where They Are'
A conservative Republican candidate for the Virginia House of Delegates, who happens to be black, has recently emerged as one of the most spirited advocates of keeping Confederate statues up in the Old Dominion State.
"We have a legal responsibility to protect our war memorials," said Adam Roosevelt ("I've heard all the jokes about my name!"), Republican nominee against Democratic Delegate and Minority Whip Alfonso H. Lopez in the 49th District (Arlington, Virginia).
Many Virginia Republicans on the ballot this fall argue it would be too costly for taxpayers to relocate or tear down all of the statues across the state honoring Confederate figures. In Charlottesville, Virginia, site of the violence last month that sparked the debate over statues, there is a $300,000-$700,000 price tag on the removal of statues of Confederate heroes Robert E. Lee, P.G.T. Beauregard, and Stonewall Jackson.
But small businessman and U.S. Army Reserve Sgt. Roosevelt approaches the issue from an entirely different perspective.

7 Dead, 35 Wounded In Labor Day Weekend Shootings In Chicago
CHICAGO (CBS) — Chicago Police credited a pre-holiday round-up of troublemakers and 1,300 extra officers on the streets each day with a year-to-year decline in shootings over Labor Day weekend.
Between 11 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Tuesday, seven people were killed and 35 others were wounded in shootings across the city, according to Chicago Sun-Times records.
First Deputy Supt. Kevin Navarro, leading the department while Supt. Eddie Johnson recovers from kidney transplant surgery, said Monday night that violence was down from last year. By 8 p.m. Monday, CPD officers had seized more than 100 guns.

Irma closing in on Leeward Islands on track headed for Florida
Irma spun into a monster storm Tuesday morning with sustained winds topping 180 mph, becoming the strongest Atlantic hurricane ever recorded outside the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean, National Hurricane Center forecasters said in their 11 a.m. advisory.
As the hurricane churns closer to the U.S. coast, its path becomes more certain, with South Florida, particularly the Keys, increasingly likely to take a hit. Tropical storm force winds could arrive as early as Friday. Gov. Rick Scott has declared a state of emergency for all 67 counties and has all 7,000 members of the state’s National Guard to report to duty on Friday.
UPDATE: Irma’s winds have intensified. To read the latest, seehttp://www.miamiherald.com/news/weather/hurricane/article171330777.html
Because Irma is so large, forecasters urged caution in paying too much attention to its exact track. The storm is continuing to roll west at 14 mph, with winds expected to begin battering the Leeward Islands today. A powerful high pressure ridge is steering the storm and will likely stay in place over the next few days, forecasters said. In five days, a trough moving across the U.S. should begin weakening the western edge of the ridge, allowing the storm to slide north. Where Irma makes the turn will determine impacts to Florida.

Landlords demand rent for flooded homes from Hurricane Harvey victims
Victims of Hurricane Harvey have spoken out after landlords demanded rent from their flooded, uninhabitable homes.
As they piece their lives back together, buying new furniture and other belongings after replacing those lost and finding alternate accommodation, some have been slapped with fees from landlords, who demand rent for the flooded homes the victims had to flee.
Rocio Fuentes told The Guardian she has been asked for money by her landlord.
She said: "Our landlords say we have to pay rent and late fees and every day it is going up.
"We are paying rent for somewhere we can’t live in. They said ‘you aren’t the only ones in this situation’, but what are we supposed to do? We don’t have any money. We don’t have anything."
Texas property code states that if a property is "totally unusable" due to a disaster then either the landlord or tenant can terminate the lease through written notice.

Franco Harris on Kaepernick Using the Game to Protest: ‘Joe Greene and Jack Lambert Would’ve Stopped It’
NFL Hall of Famer Franco Harris says that, on his Steelers’ teams, someone like Colin Kaepernick never would have gotten away with using a football game as a platform to launch a protest. Primarily because players like Joe Greene and Jack Lambert would have put a stop to it
Speaking to Mediaite’s John Ziegler, the 67-year-old Pittsburgh Steelers fullback said that it was perfectly fine for someone like Kaepernick to have their own personal opinions about the problems facing the country, but that it isn’t right to make the playing of the national anthem a platform for those statements.
“If Colin felt that he wanted to make a point — which is fine, which is his right — to get involved with any position, or organization that he really wants. But, when he puts on that suit,” Harris told Ziegler, “when he steps out on that field, now it’s more than just him. It’s his teammates, it’s the NFL, and it’s the fans. And when he puts that suit on, it is not just about him, and his position, and the things that he wants to back and wants to believe in, because the team has to come first.”

Medical Marijuana Is Life-Changing Drug For Young Girl With Seizures
BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Children from across Maryland had their first day of school. But it hasn’t been an easy road for one Dundalk girl. Many are calling her journey to the classroom a miracle.
Amy Yensi reports from Dundalk, her mother says medical marijuana has been a life-saver.
Three-year-old Lillyann Baker, arrives at the Battle Monument School, for another year of learning.
“Just knowing that she actually made it to be in school it makes us happy,” says her mom Cassandra Stefan.
The smile on her face hasn’t always been there. Lillyann suffered a traumatic head injury as an infant and had to be put in a medically-induced coma. She was having multiple seizures on a daily basis, and two powerful anti-seizure medications weren’t helping.

Chicago reported thousands more votes than voters in 2016
The head of the Chicago Republican Party is claiming the city reported thousands more votes cast than voters in the 2016 election -- sparking a battle with Chicago officials who call the allegations overblown.
First reported by the Chicago City Wire, the Chicago GOP filed a Freedom of Information Act request with the Chicago Board of Elections in January for a list of voters who had cast ballots in November. According to the party, the board responded with a list of 1,101,178 individuals, though its website reflects 1,115,664 votes cast.
“There should be never be more votes than voters—every ballot cast should be recorded against a registered voter,” Chairman of the Chicago GOP Chris Cleveland told Fox News, explaining that after receiving the data, the party “immediately” contacted the board for “clarification.” “This is either massive fraud or massive incompetence, but we have no way of telling the difference because they won’t give us the data.”
The discrepancy totals more than 14,000, though Cleveland claims it could be as high as 16,000.
Cleveland told Fox News he filed a number of FOIA requests—the original in January, and “several follow ups” for updated numbers.
“They ignored them,” Cleveland said. “They have been stonewalling us for six months.”

Angry Hillary Blames Everything From Bernie Sanders To "There's Something About Mary" For 2016 Loss
Though Hillary's book of excuses, entitled "What Happened," won't be released until September 12th, a newly revealed excerpt shows that, after 229 pages dedicated to blaming everything from Trump to Russian hackers, racism, misogyny, etc, by page 230 she finally gets around to blaming Bernie Sanders. Actually, if you review the following very powerful paragraph closely enough you'll notice thatHillary is able to succinctly blame Bernie, Obama and her entire 2016 campaign staff in just a couple of sentences.
"Throughout the primaries, every time I wanted to hit back against Bernie's attacks, I was told to restrain myself. Noting that his plans didn't add up, that they would inevitably mean raising taxes on middle-class families, or that they were little more than a pipe dream - all of this could be used to reinforce his argument that I wasn't a true progressive. My team kept reminding me that we didn't want to alienate Bernie's supporters. President Obama urged me to grit my teeth and lay off Bernie as much as I could. I felt like I was in a straightjacket."
Not surprisingly, according to further insights from CNN, Hillary goes on to point out that Bernie's supporters, much like Trump's, were only motivated by sexism...it's just obvious really.

Here Are the Ways DACA Violates the Rule of Law
President Trump’s decision to end the unlawful DACA program shows he’s a faithful defender of the Constitution and a true protector of the rule of law.
He’s also saved precious Judiciary resources. We at the Immigration Reform Law Institute been sitting on a giant legal challenge against DACA ever since the Supreme Court affirmed a lower court injunction against its near-identical sister program, DAPA. Thankfully, it’s a case we no longer have to bring.
Below is a summary of our lawsuit’s claims, which we hope serves as a reminder to the American people of the outright assault President Obama committed against the Constitution when he unilaterally decreed DACA amnesty in 2012. With its repeal, President Trump has made a giant stride in restoring constitutional order to the nation.
1. DACA conferred amnesty and federal benefits under the false pretense of “Prosecutorial Discretion.”
“Prosecutorial discretion,” insofar as it is permitted by federal immigration law, is by definition the exercise of discretion not to remove; it is not the conferral of a benefit such as work-permit.

Book by Hillary Clinton's pastor Bill Shillady will be pulled from shelves due to extensive plagiarism
Hillary Clinton said that the email her spiritual adviser, the Rev. Bill Shillady, sent her on the morning after she lost the 2016 presidential election helped her heal from her devastating defeat.
It wasn’t until months later, when Shillady published that email in a book, thatit came to light that he had plagiarized the words that so moved the candidate.
Now, less than a month after the book’s publication, the publishing house that printed it says it is pulling the book off the shelves because it’s riddled with plagiarism.
“Abingdon Press initiated an extensive review of the book and was alarmed to discover other content unattributed by the author. Abingdon Press has zero tolerance for plagiarism,” the Rev. Brian K. Milford, the president of the publishing company, said in a statement. “Consequently, we have discontinued sales, will remove existing copies from all sales outlets, and will have them destroyed along with our existing inventory.”

Donald Trump schools Barack Obama on U.S. Constitution
Everyone knows that former President Barack Obama, our Great American Constitutional Law Professor, got mercilessly schooled by the Supreme Court during his eight years in office. Now he is getting schooled by a brash-talking, orange-haired reality-TV star and real-estate developer from Queens.
I mean, this is humiliating. And so delicious to watch!
President Trump never took a single law class — at least not that we know of. Because if he had, Mr. Trump would surely find a way to remind us every time he wanted to strut his legal stuff. Anyway, Trump University didn’t even have a law school.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Tuesday morning announced that DACA "is being rescinded."
Sen. Ben Cardin, D-Md., ranking member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said Trump's decision to end DACA inexplicably upends American values by ripping apart families of 800,000 DREAMers.

Lack of sleep and using tablets before bed may cause ADHD
ADHD, the disorder that affects children’s ability to concentrate and results in disruptive behaviour, might simply be the result of them not getting enough sleep, leading scientists believe.
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is exacerbated by not getting to sleep early and using mobiles or tablets before bed, they say.
The theory, being proposed at a major scientific conference this weekend, will fuel the belief that ADHD is caused – or at least aggravated – by poor parenting.

B-24 Liberator Willow Run Assembly Plant
The long hanger at Willow Run, Michigan has a 90 degree turn in it so Henry Ford would not have to pay taxes in the next county. That short end is being saved and restored today as a museum. The big hanger doors are still operational after all these years.
This is one of the best and most informative clips about a great American accomplishment, thanks to the Ford Motor Company during WWII.
A Ford Airplane! AMAZING!
Production began here 6 months BEFORE Pearl Harbor! Henry Ford was determined that he could mass produce bombers just as he had with cars, so he built the Willow Run assembly plant and proved it. This was the world's largest building under one roof at the time. This film will absolutely blow you away -- one B-24 every 55 minutes! -- and Ford had its own pilots to test them. And no recalls!
ADOLF HITLER HAD NO IDEA THE U.S. WAS CAPABLE OF THIS KIND OF THING.
Cities Look to Public Restrooms to Clean up Downtowns, Attract Tourists
DENVER — Here on Tremont Place, there’s a beacon of relief for lunching office workers, tourists shuttling along a nearby pedestrian mall, and the city’s growing homeless population.
It’s a public bathroom, and until last spring it wasn’t easy to find one in this part of downtown Denver.
Encased in a trailer that moves around the city, the three-stall bathroom offers the amenities of any brick-and-mortar facility — lights, running water and flushing toilets. An attendant cleans up between users, does minor repairs, and polices for illicit activity.
“We’re encouraging people to walk and bike and use transit and it just makes sense then to offer a public restroom as well in these places where people are gathering,” said Angela Casias, legislative services manager for the Denver Department of Public Works. “[We’re] trying to have a positive impact on all kinds of people.”
