Black Lives Matter Activist Cites Brutality By COLLEGE-EDUCATED COPS To Demand College For Cops
Black Lives Matter activist and professional social justice warrior Shaun King now wants a law requiring all police officers in the United States to have college degrees. To make his case, he cites several police brutality cases involving — wait for it — college-educated police officers.
King, who rose to prominence following the shooting death of Michael Brown, sets forth his bizarre argument in the New York Daily News — in the fifth installment of a “25-part series exploring solutions for police brutality in America.”
“Some of the most known cases of police brutality in America, like the violence suffered by Rodney King, Eric Garner, Tamir Rice, Walter Scott and Sandra Bland, were all caught on film,” King begins.
“Study after study has proven that requiring police officers to earn a four-year degree, any four-year degree in fact, would radically improve virtually every metric essential to good policing,” he writes.

Courts strike blows to GOP voter restrictions in 3 states
CHICAGO (AP) — Courts dealt setbacks on Friday to Republican efforts in three states to restrict voting, blocking a North Carolina law requiring photo identification, loosening a similar measure in Wisconsin and halting strict citizenship requirements in Kansas.
The rulings came as the 2016 election moves into its final phase, with Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton locked in a high-stakes presidential race and control of the U.S. Senate possibly hanging in the balance. North Carolina is one of about a dozen swing states in the presidential race, while Wisconsin has voted Democratic in recent presidential elections and Kansas has been solidly Republican.
The decisions followed a similar blow earlier this month to what critics said was one of the nation’s most restrictive voting laws in Texas. The New Orleans-based U.S. 5th Circuit Court of Appeals said Texas’ voter ID law is discriminatory and must be weakened before the November election.
On Friday, a three-judge panel of the Virginia-based 4th Circuit Court of Appeals blocked North Carolina’s law that limited to six the number of acceptable photo IDs. The law also curtailed early voting and eliminated same-day registration.

FBI Director Warns 'Terrorist Diaspora' Will Come to the West
Hundreds of terrorists will fan out to infiltrate western Europe and the U.S. to carry out attacks on a wider scale as Islamic State is defeated in Syria, FBI Director James Comey warned.
“At some point there’s going to be a terrorist diaspora out of Syria like we’ve never seen before,” Comey said Wednesday in New York. “We saw the future of this threat in Brussels and Paris,” said the head of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, adding that future attacks will be on “an order of magnitude greater.”
Comey’s blunt warnings echo those of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, who has scoffed at Obama administration efforts to defeat Islamic State extremists in Syria and Iraq. Nonetheless, the FBI chief’s comments reflect a consensus among U.S. intelligence officials that the group inevitably will strike out abroad as it continues to lose ground militarily under attack from a U.S.-led coalition.

National Night Out Events Carry Greater Significance
OCEAN CITY — Like citizens in similar communities all over the country, local residents and visitors next week will have the opportunity to put aside fear and suspicion for at least one day and get out in their neighborhoods to enjoy “National Night Out,” a decades-old event that perhaps has more meaning this year than ever.
Residents in communities all over the shore and across the country are encouraged next Tuesday to unlock their doors, turn on their outside lights and get out in their communities to meet their neighbors and the law enforcement officers and other agencies that protect them in an informal setting. National Night Out has been held on the first Tuesday of August since 1984 and is now celebrated in over 16,000 communities across the nation.
The recurring theme has always been creating community bonds, meeting neighbors one otherwise passes leaving or coming home from work, interacting with and learning about representatives from the various programs in available including healthcare and social services, and perhaps most importantly, getting to know the police and first-responders who protect them. The National Night Out program is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, strengthen neighborhood spirit, foster an improved relationship between the community and its police force, and send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organizing and fighting back.

Democratic Donors, Allies Offer Reward for Trump Tax Returns
The wealthy Democratic donors, many of them executives who run complex businesses, know firsthand how revealing tax returns can be. Perhaps that's why they can't stop talking about Republican nominee Donald Trump's refusal to release his.
In their suites at the Ritz Carlton hotel, where many are staying during this week's Democratic convention, and at its auxiliary swanky parties, the supporters of Hillary Clinton are sounding the alarm about Trump's break with decades of presidential campaign tradition.
Clinton put out eight years of recent tax filings last summer, and they lament that voters don't seem to understand why Trump's refusal to do the same matters.
Democratic talk of the taxes spilled onto the convention stage Wednesday night. Vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine, mocking Trump, said, "Believe me, there's nothing suspicious in my tax returns. Believe me!" The crowd laughed.
There's even a literally a bounty for the Trump documents.
Moishe Mana, a top fundraiser for Clinton, has offered to give $1 million to the charity of Trump's choice if he makes them public. He joins an unnamed Republican donor working with Clinton ally David Brock who has made a similar offer of $5 million.
"Through his financial documents, we are trying to break into the image that he's portraying to the American people," said Mana, a real estate developer in Miami. "He says he's a successful businessman who wants to do for the country what he did for his company. Well, go ahead, show me the money."

George Soros Slithers Into 2016 Campaign
Billionaire political donor George Soros has lowered his activities in recent years, but, reportedly concerned his progressive ideas are at stake, has raised his activities this year to rival the $27 million he spent trying to defeat President George W. Bush in 2004, Politico reports.
Soros has already donated or made commitments this year of more than $25 million, according to FEC filings cited by Politico. He reportedly has faith in Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, whom he has known for years, and is concerned about Republican Donald Trump.
Michael Vachon, Soros' political adviser, told Politico that Soros "has been a consistent donor to Democratic causes, but this year the political stakes are exceptionally high. They were high even before Trump became the nominee because of the hostility on the other side toward many of the issues George cares most about and has worked to support for many years, including immigration reform, criminal justice reform and religious tolerance."

In Response To Leaked DNC Email, Franchot Invites Interim Chair To Cambridge
In an email released in the WikiLeaks dump of Democratic National Committee emails, a top official had unkind words about the eastern shore city of Cambridge.
Comptroller Peter Franchot would like to correct the record. He sent a letter to interim DNC chairwoman Donna Brazile to offer a tour of the Dorchester County town.
The email from national finance director Jordan Kaplan recounted a visit there.
"It was fine," he wrote. "S****y town and were [sic] only stayed for a few hours. We spent the night in annapolis [sic]."
Franchot, also a Democrat, took affront.

Mosby, Schatzow Continue Claims Of Police Obstruction, Call For More Accountability For Police
State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby's office is contradicting reports they simply approached and did not use the assistance of Maryland State Police during their investigation of Freddie Gray's death.
Mosby also dismissed some of the claims made by former police commissioner Anthony Batts about how police handled their investigation, and spoke against structures she said make it hard to hold police accountable. She and Chief Deputy State's Attorney Michael Schatzow were in studio with C4 Friday.
Mosby reiterated the decision was one she grappled with, but that proceeding with the three likely bench trials to follow was sure to be fruitless, with the same evidence and the same trier of fact, Judge Barry Williams.
"His rationale, he didn't believe the state's theory of the case and he's well within his right to do so, he's the judge," Mosby said.

Caddell: Dems ‘Walked Right into the Trap’ Trump Baited with Clinton’s Email
Political strategist Pat Caddell, a veteran of numerous Democratic campaigns, talked toBreitbart News DailyThursday about President Obama’s speech at the Democratic National Convention.
When SiriusXM host Stephen K. Bannon laughed at the portion of Obama’s speech where he talked about “carrying” Hillary Clinton to victory, Caddell deadpanned, “It’s almost the attitude that somebody has to. I thought that was the theme last night: We must all carry her.”
“The problem is, I don’t know if the Hillary Clinton they’re creating, and talking about, resonates at all with what people really think of her,” he said.

Worcester NAACP holds meeting with police
How to establish positive and peaceful interactions with law enforcement, in light of the continuing onslaught of deadly encounters between police and African-Americans, was the primary focus of a Worcester County NAACP Town Hall meeting and panel discussion at the Germantown School Community Center in Berlin last Thursday.
On the panel were Ocean City Police Chief Ross Buzzuro, Berlin Police Chief Arnold Downing, Worcester Sheriff Lt. Andy McGee, Worcester Sheriff Reggie Mason, Worcester Sheriff Corporal Dale Trotter, Pocomoke Police Chief Bill Harden and Maryland State Police Commander Earl Starner.
Dr. Roxie Davis, former Worcester County NAACP president, questioned if, and how, officers are given regular reminders to be equitable in their treatment of minority community members.
Constant reinforcement is crucial, Buzzuro said.

Hillary Clinton Was A Corporate Lawyer
Speakers at the Democratic National Convention have spent the better part of the last week crowing about Hillary Clinton’s career in law, ostensibly the story of a journeyman advocate organizing for children.
“It was at the Children’s Defense Fund that I met Hillary,” said incoming Democratic National Committee chair Donna Brazile. “Steel in her spine, Hillary didn’t want to talk about anything other than how to make children’s lives better.”
New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand was similarly effusive in her praise of Clinton’s career at the bar in the service of the marginalized. “We have a responsibility to one another,” she said. “It’s about who we are as a nation. It’s why after law school, she could have gone to a fancy law firm, but she chose to work at the Children’s Defense Fund, where she advocated for children with disabilities.”
The reality of Mrs. Clinton’s law career is more complicated.

Firefighter union pushes petition on social media
As the local firefighters’ union continues to push its petition seeking a referendum on whether the resort’s firefighters and paramedics should have binding interest arbitration, the union has taken to social media to explain its cause and to refute assertions made by Ocean City officials.
Last Friday afternoon, the Chapter 4269 of the International Association of Fire Fighters released on its Facebook page a short video of chapter President Ryan Whittington directly addressing Ocean City taxpayers and voters.
In the two-and-a-half minute video, Whittington says binding interest arbitration brings in a third party mediator to settle disagreements, while it also gives firefighters and paramedics a voice in the process.

Chinese billionaire who made illegal donations to Bill Clinton faces Congress
A Chinese billionaire at the center of a 20-year-old Clinton foreign donor scandal is being called in to answer questions from Congress about his role in the influence-buying scheme, in a move that could revive yet another Clinton controversy from the 1990s.
The House Oversight Committee told Daily Mail Online that it will seek an interview with Ng Lap Seng, 68, who evaded congressional investigators for years.
He has now re-appeared in the United States and is being held in New York on unrelated bribery charges.
One campaign group is even suggesting that Congress grant him immunity from the charges in return for testifying.
Ng, a Macau businessman with ties to the Chinese government, was accused of funneling over $1 million in illegal foreign donations to support Bill Clinton's reelection campaign in 1996.

Ocean City spends $477K for custom trash trucks
Ocean City has settled on an offer for custom-built trash trucks, and while it’s slightly above what officials hoped for, it’s not an unmanageable price.
During Tuesday’s work session, the City Council unanimously awarded the bid to two separate contractors to build front- and side-load refuse street trucks for $236,391 and $240,980, respectively.
Both totals edged over the $230,000 per truck that was set aside by the council back during April’s budget conversations.
But Procurement Manager Catrice Parsons told the council that the vehicle trust fund had the room.
“The vehicle trust fund as a whole is $8,300 to the good, and that does not include sales from large equipment we still have to process, and the purchase of the bucket truck, which was partially funded.”

Pension Returns Set to Plunge to Record-Low Levels
Long-term returns for U.S. public pensions reportedly are expected to drop to the lowest levels ever recorded as states and cities face even deeper financial pain as a $1 trillion funding gap widens.
Twenty-year annualized returns for public pensions in the U.S. are poised to decline to 7.47% once fiscal 2016 results are released in coming weeks, according to an estimate from Wilshire Trust Universe Comparison Service, which tracks pension investment returns, The Wall Street Journal reported.
The Journal reported that would be the lowest-ever annual mark recorded by Wilshire, which began tracking the statistic 16 years ago.
“Many states and local governments may be facing difficult choices if investment returns remain low,” Keith Brainard, research director at the National Association of State Retirement Administrators, told the Journal. “The money has to come from somewhere.”
The drop in 20-year annualized returns is significant because officials who oversee retirements for police officers, firefighters, teachers and government workers have long said one bad year or two isn’t as important as the long-term average, and they would earn enough money over decades to pay for retiree obligations, the Journal reported.

Bernie delegate's DNC credentials stripped after holding 'STOP TPP' sign
The crackdown on free thought continues at the Democratic National Convention.
Arkansas delegate Frank Klein says he was stripped of his credentials after he held up an “unauthorized sign” during President Obama’s speech to the DNC Wednesday night.
Klein, a Fourth Congressional District delegate for Bernie Sanders, claims he held up a “Stop TPP” sign, which was allegedly against the rules.
“I’ve been denied my credentials because I refused to follow DNC rules,” Klein says, “and I held up an unauthorized sign the DNC said wasn’t authorized.”
The sign read “Stop TPP,” according to the Sanders delegate.
“They refuse to issue my credential to me, which I constitutionally should be able to get,” he says.
Will the DNC replace him with a paid seat filler?
UPDATE: Here’s a tweet showing a delegate with an “unapproved” sign being photographed for potential expulsion:

IRS Officials Knew About Tea Party Targeting
Judicial Watch released nearly 300 pages of FBI documents that reveal top IRS officials knew of the targeting of conservative groups two years before disclosing it to Congress.
Top IRS officials Lois Lerner and Holly Paz "knew that agents were targeting conservative groups for special scrutiny as early as 2011," Judicial Watch reported.
Judicial Watch was able to obtain the new treasure trove of documents through a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit.
According to the docs obtained by Judicial Watch, Paz, a senior member of the IRS, was informed in the spring of 2011 that agents in Cincinnati had put out "Be On the Look Out" guides to flag "cases using the tea party term."
According to the docs, IRS senior official Nancy Marks, who was appointed to conduct an internal investigation said, "Cincinnati was categorizing cases based on name and ideology, not just activity," Judicial Watch reported.

What Might Have Been: Chesapeake Bay Bridge Plans That Never Panned Out
History is a funny thing. Once a big event is in the books, everything about the way it unfolded starts to look inevitable, like it was bound to happen in just the way it did. So it is with the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, which opened 64 years ago, on July 30, 1952.
But sometimes it’s fun to play a little what-if. For instance: What if one or another of the various other Bridge plans put forward over the years had been realized instead? What would the Shore look like today?

South Sudan: Soldiers Rape UN Camp Girls by the Dozen While Peacekeepers Watch
An Associated Press report cites numerous witnesses as stating that a mass rape of women and girls in a United Nations camp for the displaced occurred last week in full view of UN peacekeepers, who did nothing to prevent the attacks.
“They were seeing it. Everyone was seeing it. The woman was seriously screaming, quarreling and crying also, but there was no help. She was crying for help,” said one unnamed eyewitness to the gang rape of a woman in public. Another eyewitness said she saw four females — two underaged girls — gang raped by ten soldiers per person, and one of the girls died as a result of the rape.
The rapes appear to be racially motivated: the soldiers belong to the ruling Dinka ethnic group, while most victims are ethnic Nuers. Neither army spokespeople nor UN representatives denied the rapes to the AP. Army spokesman Lul Ruai Koang told the AP they had not received any formal complaints about the rapes, therefore could not do anything to punish the perpetrators.
The AP adds that the number of rapes occurring in and around the UN camps is unclear but estimates all reach into the dozens of victims.
South Sudanese government soldiers raped dozens of ethnic Nuer women and girls last week just outside a United Nations camp where they had sought protection from renewed fighting, and at least two died from their injuries, witnesses and civilian leaders said. UN representatives estimated between 27 and 70 gang rapes in the past week.

Trump Asks Hackers To Release Emails, Not to Hack Again
The establishment media is insisting today that Donald Trump asked dictator Vladimir Putin’s Russian hackers to break into Americans’ computers.
But the plain text of Trump’s lengthy 10,000-word press conference today shows him repeatedly saying that the hackers — likely Russians — should release the emails they have already hacked from Hillary Clinton’s email server at the Department of State.
So Trump’s media-magnified sentence — “Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 e-mails that are missing” — refers to emails that he thinks have already been hacked and stored away in some Russian server farm.
Logically, Trump can’t be asking the Russian to hack emails tomorrow when they have already been hacked from sloppily protected U.S. computers, and then stashed away in a server in Siberia.
Trump also suggested that the Russians have already hacked emails from Obama’s Democratic National Committee.
When asked about the DNC emails, Trump repeatedly says Russia has likely already hacked emails from the DNC computers.

Driver prays for deputy during traffic stop
It was a first for Heard County, Georgia Sheriff’s Deputy Brandon Wiggins. During a traffic stop, a man pulled up to the deputy to pray for him. The deputy admitted, he still is choked up by the encounter.
Deputy Wiggins did not know what to think when the man approached him while he was on a traffic stop. In dash cam video shared with FOX 5 Atlanta, Wiggins is on guard until he realized why the man was there.
Turns out, the man is actually the father of the driver who Deputy Wiggins pulled over for running a stop sign.
“God Bless you. I appreciate all you do for us," the man told Deputy Wiggins in the video when he said he was just going to issue a warning to his son.

Restaurant Recession Could Signal Tough Times
Analysts are forecasting a "restaurant recession" in the U.S., which is bad news for America's food and drink establishments and potentially even worse news for the economy at large.
Paul Westra, a senior research analyst at Stifel Financial Corp., said in a research note Tuesday that he'd turned "decidedly bearish" on the restaurant industry, downgrading Stifel's stance on 11 different restaurant stocks, including Chipotle Mexican Grill, Panera Bread and Cheesecake Factory.
He and his colleagues now "confidently believe" that the weak restaurant consumer spending seen in the second quarter of the year "reflects the start of a U.S. restaurant recession."
Restaurants aren't themselves a monumental driver of America's gross domestic product, but they're usually a pretty good indicator of what Americans are doing with their money. When times start getting tough, eating out is typically one of the first things to go.
American restaurants are facing challenges on several fronts. Not only has consumer spending in the industry begun to lag, but there's some concern over profitability related to upcoming changes to U.S. overtime regulations and minimum wage hikes.
"Restaurants operate on thin margins with low profits per employee and little room to absorb added costs," the National Restaurant Association said in a statement earlier this year in response to news that the Labor Department was aiming to expand overtime eligibility among U.S. workers. "More than doubling the current minimum salary threshold for exempt employees, while automatically increasing salary levels, will harm restaurants and the employer community at large."
Westra's research note also pointed out that a substantial portion of the U.S. population lives in states and regions where minimum wage increases are expected over the next few years – namely California, New York, Maryland, the District of Columbia, Massachusetts, Michigan and Connecticut, among others.

Snow Hill To Host Farming Celebration Aug. 6
SNOW HILL – On the first Saturday in August for the past 18 years, Snow Hill’s downtown has been the site of a beloved agricultural festival, the Blessing of the Combines.
This year’s blessing is set to take place Aug. 6 on Green Street in Snow Hill from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. but vendors open as early as 9 a.m. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early to claim parking.
The Parade of Combines is slated to begin at 11:15. Then, a “throttle thrust” in which all the combine operators rev their engines to the maximum before cutting them off simultaneously marks the beginning of the festival.
Steve Hales, former Clerk of Circuit Court for Worcester County and Snow Hill native, will return this year as Master of Ceremonies.
The Snow Hill High School Junior Marine Corps ROTC will present the colors to begin the program.

Morrell: Foreign Countries Have What Was on Hillary’s Private Email Server
Friday on “The Hugh Hewitt Show,” former CIA deputy director Mike Morell said it was a bad idea for Hillary Clinton to use a private email server while serving as head diplomat at the State Department because any foreign government that has good intelligence was able to hack the Clinton server.
When asked if it was a good idea Hillary used a private server, Morell said, “I don’t think that was very good judgment. I don’t know who gave her that advice, and she is paying a price for it now.”

The Bureaucrat at the Center of Hillary’s Scandals
In a town infamous for throwing bureaucrats under the bus, Patrick Kennedy’s survival is the stuff of legend.
The 67-year-old State Department official is largely unknown to the general public, but for Republicans in Congress, he is the dark force behind two of the biggest controversies of Hillary Clinton’s career.
In his role as under secretary for management and resources, Kennedy was the senior official overseeing both diplomatic security during the 2012 attacks in Benghazi and the records and IT departments during “emailgate” — the four-year period when Clinton used a private email server for official business.
“Pat Kennedy is the most powerful guy you’ve never heard of,” said a former diplomat, who like many others spoke on the condition of anonymity to avoid angering the influential government boss.
The State Department insists that the failures leading up to both incidents were the fault of more junior employees, not Kennedy. But his proximity to wrongdoing has made him a major target of the House Select Committee on Benghazi, which grilled him for 13 hours as a part of its two-year, $7 million investigation. He also faced blistering attacks from lawmakers during seven other House and Senate investigations into Benghazi, underwent a deposition at the Justice Department by the conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch in June, and cooperated with a year-long FBI investigation into Clinton’s complex private email server that ended last month.
A less savvy bureaucrat might’ve fallen victim to those many minefields, but individuals close to Kennedy say he’s primed to stay on the job for several more years, leading many to marvel at his knack for self preservation.

Love What Matters
"Meet Mr. Timmy, the angel that walked into my office. He stopped in a week ago asking if I could help him with extreme low back pain that is shooting down his leg.
He asked the prices etc and made his appointment for this week so he could gather the money. He comes in on Wednesday 30 minutes early for his appointment and is beyond nice and respectful.
Everything I say/ask him, he responds with yes/no ma'am. He fills my heart with joy and happiness just being in the room with him.
After chatting with him, he tells me that he's been in pain for 3 years and has been turned away several times for help because he doesn't have insurance or the money, but he knew he had to do something. I can tell he's in pain, but didn't know just how bad until I asked him to lay on the table. Bless his heart, tears started streaming down his face and he was moaning in excruciating pain. He apologized for his tears and I told him not to be sorry and handed him a tissue.

Did The DNC Hire Actors (At Below Minimum Wage) To Work At The Convention?
Great news... The Democrats are 'creating jobs."
Following the exposure of a fake Trump job advertisement designed by The DNC to embarrass Trump, it is interesting that a Craigslist ad calling for "Actors Needed for National Convention" has surfaced...
Whether the ad is real or fake is unclear, but the text suggests below minimum wage compensation (7-plus hours work for $50) and the number of walkouts from the Convention indicates perhaps a need for cheering happy seat-fillers...
Actors Needed For National Convention (Philadelphia)
compensation: $50.00
Looking for 700 people to be utilized as actors during the National Convention.
We currently have a number of empty seats that will need to be filled as we are currently removing a number of people and need to refill their seats for the remainder of the conference.
You will be paid $50.00 each night for the remainder of the convention. You will be required to cheer at all times and will be asked to dress properly and possibly wear some promotional material.
Which makes sense if one looks at the following shocking video from film director, Josh Fox, best known for his Oscar-nominated anti-fracking documentary Gasland, captured inside the DNC...

Black Lives Matter: The Real Agenda
Unless you have been “off the grid” for a while, you have heard a lot in the news about Black Lives Matter. This “movement” has gotten a lot of press and some notable praise from celebrities and politicians, including positive mentions from President Obama. But I suspect that most people, including many who have tweeted #blacklivesmatter, have not visited its website.
I have, and I was a shocked, especially as a black man. You see, Black Lives Matter boasts that it was launched as a response to the deaths of black males, most notably Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown. You would expect that when you review its website, it would be chock-full of references to helping black men and boys. But you would be wrong. Dead wrong.
Let me explain.
Prominent on Black Lives Matter’s website is a list of its 12 “Guiding Principles.” These principles serve as a vision statement for what the group hopes to accomplish. So, if Black Lives Matter had the ability to wave a proverbial “magic wand” to create its reality in the black community, these principles would be it. However, if you objectively read these principles, you will quickly notice that most of them have nothing to do with the issues facing the black community and, certainly, not the black men and boys that the group has used as “martyrs” to gain a national voice. Moreover, as you read the principles, you will not find a single reference to black men and boys, except for “trans brothers,” which are men who want to be considered women.
Also, it is clear that the Black Lives Matter ideology sees no role for black men, especially not as husbands and fathers. For example, consider the guiding principle titled, “Black Villages”:
“We are committed to disrupting the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and “villages” that collectively care for one another, and especially ‘our’ children to the degree that mothers, parents and children are comfortable.”

TRUMP WILL CLEAN UP THE CORRUPTION – ALL OF IT! STARTING WITH THE CLINTONS!
On June 14, 1993 at a press conference in the Rose Garden, White House, Washington, DC, President Bill Clinton addressed the nation on going forward with the ideologies of the 1992 UN Earth Summit convention in Rio on sustainable development for the 21st century. He and Hillary have been doing their part for the globalists who want the new one world order and continue to do their part through the Clinton Foundation. This foundation is pushing money into the fourth world goals of a one world order.
Hillary is all about pushing America against the UN wall and making it into a North American Union where states will bow down and do as they are ordered in the same fashion we all just watched Bernie do.
That will not happen on Trump’s watch nor on the watch of the real patriotic citizens of this great nation! Trump will prosecute these crooked people – all of them!
Climate change was a master mind project of Maurice Strong to push the world forward into one order and one government where the nations will fall in line under a one world system of rule.
So what was Maurice Strong advocating and leading America and all nations into ? It was a new agenda. Read for yourself:http://www.americanalertnews.com/mauricestrongspeaks1992.htm

The Leftist group DNC Action Committee announced it plans to attempt to make a citizen’s arrest of Hillary Clinton during her acceptance speech of the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination at the party’s convention in Philadelphia Thursday night.
The list of charges crosses party/ideological lines to include election fraud, money laundering through the Clinton Foundation and endangering national security by the exclusive secret use of a private email server for government business during Clinton’s tenure as Secretary of State during the first term of the Obama administration.

The Great Bathroom Wall Of Public Discourse
In the world of journalism, it used to be that facts were facts, and opinions were clearly stated. It was the check and balance in the world of disseminating news and information that was as needed as the separation of church and state in this country and the abstaining from having dogs and cats living together so as to stop, as Bill Murray said in “Ghostbusters,” mass hysteria.
Today, civil discourse is anything but civil and has turned into something that resembles a shouting match between yet to be potty trained 3-year-olds and obscenely drunk adults: none of it makes much sense, and everyone is just spewing vitriol at one another until one party takes a huge tantrum or simply falls over from swinging too wildly with their “informed opinions.”
You can thank social media for much of this, and you can most certainly give a nod to the tumultuous and almost tragically laughable state of national politics in our country currently. Both are bringing out the worst in our so called humanity. As one business owner described to me this week, as I found myself doing yet another story trying to re-inform the public that the wrongful conclusions that many had jumped to on social media about the melee on the Boardwalk last weekend that resulted in the arrests of 12 African-Americans had nothing to do with the controversial Black Lives Matter movement; “social media is the great bathroom wall and it’s being scribbled with some of the most reprehensible and heinous things that you can imagine.”
Just picture that comment and the dirtiest turnpike bathroom you’ve ever had to use for a moment the next time you are about to go off on an ill-advised rant on your social media page. Ask yourself, “is this something that brings value to the larger conversation, something that’s well thought out and sourced, or is just an ill-informed vulgarity that is attempting to be Vonnegut?”

Black Philadelphians Gather to Learn About Gun Rights as DNC Rolls Into Town
PHILADELPHIA — A gun rights advocacy group on Monday hosted a town hall-style meeting to teach black Philadelphians about their Second Amendment rights and how to legally exercise them while Democrats gathered at the Wells Fargo Center for the Democratic National Convention.
The event was run by Black Guns Matter, a gun rights advocacy group founded by Philadelphia local Maj Toure. Although the group is only a few months old, it has already outgrown its meeting space at the Philly Firearms Academy.
“We’re a firearms safety, education, and training organization that helps people to not only maintain their Second Amendment rights but become more responsible firearms owners and good citizens,” Toure said. “That’s what we’re about.”
“We’re informing people because there seems to be a push to keep people, especially in certain demographics, unaware and ignorant about their rights. It’s not something they should have to fight for, it’s something that they’re born with. We’re just an educational resource for anybody who wants to learn.”
The event featured Minister Jazz, who spoke about de-escalation techniques, and Jose Morales, the National Rifle Association-certified instructor who owns the academy.
“About a year and a half ago Maj walked in my door,” Morales said. “He had some questions on concealed carry and a casual conversation became a two and a half hour-long conversation on all sorts of things from the Second Amendment to firearm history to the history of people of color carrying guns. He’s a kindred soul. He gets it. He doesn’t look like me but we have a lot in common.”

Study: Dems’ $15 Wage Would Kill 7 Million Jobs
The $15 minimum wage backed by the Democratic Party will eliminate more than 7 million jobs, according to a new report.
Democratic delegates approved a party platform backing the $15 minimum wage on Monday. The proposed rate hike follows a multi-million dollar campaign by the politically influential Service Employees International Union.
It would more than double the federal minimum of $7.25 and effectively raise labor costs to more than $18 an hour per employee, after payroll taxes and other mandates. The move would force employers to seek offsets, which could hurt the prospects of workers, particularly inexperienced and low-skilled ones.
“Businesses would respond to these higher labor costs by reducing employment of affected workers by over one-sixth, thus eliminating approximately seven million full-time-equivalent (FTE) jobs by 2021. Forcing employers to pay starting wages of $15 per hour would make many less skilled workers unemployable,” labor policy expert James Sherk wrote in a new report for the Heritage Foundation.
Shark is not the first person to voice concerns about the effect of the $15 wage on employment levels. Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton was the only primary candidate to oppose the $15 rate, backing an increase to $12 an hour after consulting with economic advisers and academic economists.

The Nurses
Few in Salisbury now can remember the Peninsula General Hospital School of Nursing. Now, aspiring candidates receive their training at Salisbury University. Medical care has become so specialized that a nurse cannot perform across the board remedial care that they once did. I am sure that anyone of a certain age can remember when a nurse was thought of as a substitute doctor. The person in that stark, crisp white uniform commanded total respect from everyone. Each wore a cap that signified from where they had graduated. It was a badge of honor and pride.
The former School of Nursing was started in January, 1905, shortly after the hospital was opened in 1904. The Superintendent of Nurses was Helen Van Devanter Wise. She got the school up and running, leaving in 1909, to return to her home town of Leesburg, VA. She moved on to private duty in Baltimore and Philadelphia, before returning to her Alma Mater, the University of Maryland School of Nursing, in 1917. In May of 1919, she returned for good to Salisbury. She is also credited with the development of the Salisbury Municipal Park as well as the establishment of the Children’s Home. She retired in 1933, but the benefits of her endeavors remain around and with us.
In 1904, Miss Wise organized a Training School to help meet the nursing needs of the hospital and the community. The first class of three students entered in January, 1905, all of these composing the first graduating class in 1907, leaving behind six “underclassmen”.
Miss Wise saw the need for a nursing home for the nurses in training and also for more classroom space. She brought the idea before the Board of Directors. In 1906, they decided to build one. It was completed, with students occupying it on February 13, 1908. Students lived on the second and third floors, with classrooms on the first floor. When it was completed, the entire property was valued at $100,000.
The first class to graduate from the new School of Nursing was in 1910. There were just three graduates. The graduation totals did not advance much in the early years as evidenced by the following years of graduation and the number of graduates: 1911 ( two graduates), 1912 ( three graduates), 1913 (no graduates), 1914 (one graduate), 1915 (five graduates), and so forth. It was ten years before the graduating class had grown to seven and six more years before it reached its highest number of ten.
Before they graduated, they were known as “probationers” and, along with classes, performed various duties in the hospital for familiarization. The four years of intense study and training made them more than prepared to meet the medical needs of our community.
Study: Four of Five Criminals Acquire Guns Illegally
A study conducted by the Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health shows that four out of five criminals acquire their guns illegally, while one out of five acquires them through legal means, prior to building up a criminal record.
The Washington Post published the study, which looked at guns recovered from Pittsburgh crime scenes in 2008 and found that “in approximately 8 out of 10 cases, the perpetrator was not a lawful gun owner but rather in illegal possession of a weapon that belonged to someone else.”
Roughly one out of five guns, 18 percent, were used in crimes by the people who actually purchased them. This latter group would consist of people with criminal intent but no criminal record to prevent them from passing a background check. Such people have legally acquired weapons, then killed innocents at Virginia Tech University (2007), Fort Hood (2009), Aurora movie theater (2012), DC Navy Yard (2013), Fort Hood (2014), Chattanooga (20105), Umpqua Community College (2015), Orlando (2016), among others.

A Viewer Writes: Comcast Bill
Do you know that on your Comcast bill there is a fee of $3.00 for a Regional Sports Fee? If you don't watch sports or want this it doesn't matter because as I was told it is so the local channels could air these events. So if you don't watch or want it to bad you still have to pay for it. Yes it is only $3.00 but it is still not right. Added it up $36.00 a year. That may not be a lot to much but for someone that does not watch sports it is not right. I have been a Comcast user for over 25 years and never had this on my bill before until 4 months ago. For 3 times when I called about this I was told it would be taken off. Well I got my bill today and it was still there. When I called I was told that there was nothing I could do because it came from corp. yet I could not get a name or phone number to contact anyone. So there you are. Just suck it up.
US, China Use Controversial Methods to Control Weather
A controversial weather-controlling program with roots on New Hampshire's Mount Washington continues today, with China allocating $30 million for it this summer.
The technique has had several names over the years, and it began in the 1940s when scientists were able to stimulate cloud growth and force rainfall to come sooner than it would have atop Mount Washington.
The technique continued during the Vietnam War, when the United States reportedly seeded the clouds in an effort to lengthen the monsoon season, thereby making it harder for the enemy to move around.
According to Business Insider, China has been awfully busy seeding its own clouds in recent years.
During the 2008 Beijing Olympics, for example, Chinese scientists were able to seed the clouds — which involves shooting silver iodide particles into clouds. That action causes, at least in theory, the clouds to grow larger, quicker. When they're full enough, rainfall occurs. In doing so, China made it rain ahead of the Opening Ceremony, not during it.
Now, California and other states suffering from droughts are experimenting with the procedure in an effort to increase precipitation.

Clinton on Illegal Immigrants: 'Inhumane to Kick Them Out'
(CNSNews.com) - "We will not build a wall," Hillary Clinton told the Democrat National Convention Thursday night.
In her brief remarks on immigration, she called for a "path to citizenship," and she said it would be "inhumane" to remove illegal aliens from the country.
Instead of building a wall, Clinton promised to "build an economy where everyone who wants a good paying job can get one. And we'll build a path to citizenship for millions of immigrants who are already contributing to our economy," she said.
Later in her speech, as she listed the things she believes in, Clinton said, "I believe that when we have millions of hardworking immigrants contributing to our economy, it would be self-defeating and inhumane to kick them out.

Gannett Newspaper Rejects Ad Over the Word "Christian"
The owners of a Christian bookstore in Knoxville, Tennessee were dumbfounded after the News Sentinel rejected their ad because it included an offensive word – “Christian.”
Lois McGinnis and her family own Cedar Springs Christian Store. They recently decided to close a second location of the store so they decided to place an ad in the classified section of the newspaper, which is owned by Gannett.
The advertisement read: “Store closing sale – Cedar Springs Christian Store – Clinton Highway location – All merchandise, fixtures, slat walls must go. Sale through August 13, phone 865.947.XXX.”
Mrs. McGinnis placed the ad on July 26. It was supposed to run on July 28. But when she opened up the newspaper – the ad was nowhere to be found.
So Mrs. McGinnis phoned the newspaper and spoke with a classified ad employee.
“She said our ad did not run because it contained an offensive word,” she told me. “I asked what that offensive word was and she said the offensive word was ‘Christian.’”
She said the News Sentinel did not notify her in advance the ad had been rejected nor did they call to say they were refunding her money.

"Free Speech Cage" Keeps Anti-Hillary Protesters Away From DNC Convention
Editor’s Comment: It is time that the people of America faced the reality of how limited their “choices” for leaders really are, and how deeply the repression of real candidates and real issues goes. Every four years, they waste the time and energy of the general public – intentionally – to make a ritual out of giving consent to the psychopathic to rule over the sheeple. These people do not represent or serve you or the issues of ordinary people. (Of course SHTF readers and anyone with two brain cells already know that.)
The tactics of stifling free speech, and making a mockery of those who have chosen to stand up against the system, only illustrates how far gone this country is, and how illusive the state of “freedom” really is. Politics, elections, power in the hands of a federal government – these people and institutions have long been accepted and normalized, despite the predatory nature of their activities, despite the phoniness, despite the broken promises and utter B.S. that they spew. Though most Americans recognize the futility and the corruption of these parties and politicians – who could ignore the release of damning information against the DNC? – they perform cognitive dissonance, and continue to support, endorse, vote for – and at least in spirit – “elect” their own oppressors, and by extension their own enslavement. When will this vicious cycle end, and how blatant must the tyranny become?
“Free Speech Cage” At The DNC Is A Truly Pathetic Image Of Modern American Freedom
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. — The First Amendment
Congress shall make no law… but they shall erect a “free speech cage”.

GDP Shocker: US Economy Grew Only 1.2% In Second Quarter; Q1 Revised To 0.8%
With Wall Street expecting the US economy to grow 2.6% in the second quarter, there were many shocked faces moments ago when the Census Bureau reported that not only did the US economy grow a paltry 1.2% in the quarter, but Q1 GDP was slased from an already poor 1.1% to just 0.8%.

Hillary Busted Plagiarizing DNC Speech, Media REFUSES to Report
Plagiarism: It’s a major concern if you’re a presidential candidate or the family member of a presidential candidate. Unless you’re a Democrat. In that case, whatevs yo!
That’s the message from the Democrat National Convention, where more plagiarism went on than at the Republican National Convention. There was, of course, Barack Obama’s copying of Donald Trump Jr.’s speech. Then there was Joe Biden’s line copped from Kanye: “We ain’t going nowhere but got suits and cases / A trunk full of coke, rental car from Avis.” (I may have been asleep for one of these speeches.)
But I certainly wasn’t asleep when Hillary Clinton gave her speech last night, and copied from an author most Americans know by heart.
“But here’s the sad truth,” Hillary said. “There is no other Donald Trump…This is it. And in the end, it comes down to what Donald Trump doesn’t get: that America is great — because America is good.”
That’s an amazing line! In fact, it sounds almost like one her husband used back in 1994, according to Sean Hannity:
“I believe fundamentally in the common sense and the essential core goodness of the American people,” Bill said. “Don’t forget that Alexis de Tocqueville said a long time ago that America is great because America is good; and if America ever ceases to be good, she will no longer be great.”
