Incident: Burglary Investigations
Date of Incident: 12-14 September 2015
Location: Wicomico County, MD
Suspect: Pending
Narrative: Between 12-14 September 2015, the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office has investigated several reported break-ins to garages and automobiles. In all of the instances of entry into a garage, it was discovered that the garages had been left unlocked. In most of the break-ins to
the vehicles it was also determined that they were left unlocked. There was an incident where a window in a vehicle was smashed so the perpetrator could access the item inside.
These incidents have been reported in the county in neighborhoods adjacent to the Old Ocean City Road and Coulbourn Mill Road areas.
The Sheriff’s Office reminds everyone to secure their vehicles and lock the exterior doors that lead to their garages. It is also a good practice to
not leave items such as electronic devices, purses or wallets in plain view inside a vehicle.
If you have any information regarding these incidents, please contact the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office at 410-548-4891. You can also report
information anonymously to Crime Solvers at 410-548-1776.
