Allow me to straighten your buck teeth ass up here a little bit Mayor Day. I retired at 40. As a novice and with no journalistic education I created the largest news source on the entire Eastern Shore with very supportive advertisers and followers. I ultimately opened the coolest bar/restaurant in West Ocean City on my own. I'm 5.10' tall, hardly a "li'l Guy" and financially I can run circles around you and your family forever. 

When I look at my friend Bob Culver I not only see a great man, I'd say with extreme confidence the County Executive position is far superior over a wanna be Mayor of a wanna be city. 

So to call all of us "losers" and coming from a toothy light bulb head, 5.3 inch tall mouthy Mayor I'd honestly say we're very confident in who we are and who you are. My best advice, look in the mirror the next time you make such a remark.

President Donald Trump impeached by U.S. House on 2 charges

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump was impeached by the U.S. House of Representatives on Wednesday night, becoming only the third American chief executive to be formally charged under the Constitution’s ultimate remedy for high crimes and misdemeanors.

The historic vote split along party lines, much the way it has divided the nation, over the charges that the 45th president abused the power of his office by enlisting a foreign government to investigate a political rival ahead of the 2020 election. The House then approved a second charge, that he obstructed Congress in its investigation.

The articles of impeachment, the political equivalent of an indictment, now go to the Senate for trial. If Trump is acquitted by the Republican-led chamber, as expected, he would have to run for re-election carrying the enduring mark of impeachment on his purposely disruptive presidency.

Sbynews I am hoping you can make this a separate posted comment I live in Mardela Springs there a disgusting family living at ### main St who have 2 little dogs the dogs bark consistently every day n night , The other day I observed a black male in his 20s grab one of the dogs by the neck and shove it in a outside cage with no proper protection from the elements/cold the dogs barks all night ... I/We the community have called this in to the Wicomico County's animal control several times with NUMEROUS complaints at 749 1070 with these people and NOTHING gets done. No call backs no response on PRIOR complaints this is terrible on the county's part for not making contact with ALL Involved

Narrative:
On December 9, 2019 deputies of the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division began an investigation into a reported CDS violation involving a teacher soliciting a student for prescribed medication. The investigation revealed that the teacher, identified as the suspect, Elizabeth Day, solicited a 16-year-old student to purchase two (2) ADHD pills for $20.00. Day is a teacher at James M. Bennett High School and the student is enrolled at that school as well. An arrest warrant was obtained for Day, and she was arrested on 12/20/19 and taken to the Wicomico County Detention Center. Day was later released on her own recognizance.
Additionally, with the obvious conflict, the Wicomico County States Attorney’s Office has asked for and received the assistance of the Calvert County States Attorney’s Office to handle this matter. The investigation is on-going.

Hallmark says it will "reinstate" TV ads featuring same-sex couple after outcry

The Hallmark Channel on Sunday moved to reinstate ads featuring a same-sex couple that had been removed from the cable network. The decision came after considerable backlash over the initial decision to stop airing the ads from the wedding-planning company Zola.

"The Crown Media team has been agonizing over this decision as we've seen the hurt it has unintentionally caused," Hallmark CEO Mike Perry said in a statement Sunday night. "Said simply, they believe this was the wrong decision."

"Hallmark will be working with GLAAD [Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation] to better represent the LGBTQ community across our portfolio of brands," the statement continued. "The Hallmark Channel will be reaching out to Zola to reestablish our partnership and reinstate the commercials."

Five African-American students seen pummeling a 14-year-old white boy on a school bus in a video released last week have been charged with misdemeanor battery.

JASPER, Fla. (WCTV) –The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office says five students face misdemeanor battery charges after a fight on a school bus.

Video of the November 21 attack shows the students punching at a teen sitting in a bus seat.

[…] Superintendent Rex Mitchell says the school district investigated, disciplined the students, and turned information over to the sheriff’s office for action.

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office said the State’s Attorney’s Office “stated that this incident does not meet criteria for a hate crime.”

Location: RT 13 and Pine St, Salisbury
Narrative: On 12-14-19 at 1114 pm, a Deputy conducted a traffic stop on Rt 13 in the area of Pine St. As the Deputy approached the car, he saw CDS in the passenger compartment. A further search revealed heroin and crack cocaine in sufficient quantity to indicate CDS sales. The driver, Kristen Joudrey, and passenger, Timothy Mitchell, were arrested and released to Central Booking. While at Central Booking, additional CDS was located on Joudrey. Both were seen by the District Court Commissioner and held without bond pending the bond review.

Narrative: On the evening of 12-13-19, Deputies were dispatched to a room at the Country Hearth Inn, 9544 Ocean Hwy, for a domestic disturbance. Callers reported a domestic assault in progress. Upon arrival, Deputies were sent to a room at the motel. Inside the room, Deputies heard screaming. Deputies saw 4 children run from the room, outside into the rain, with no shoes on. Deputies made contact with the adult occupants, Denise Satchell and Jonas Sine, who were uncooperative and had injuries from their mutual assault. The subjects continued to act disorderly and cause a disturbance for the other customers staying at the motel. Both were arrested, and were taken to Central Booking to see the District Court Commissioner. During contact, both remained uncooperative and Ms. Satchell was assaultive towards Deputies.

Narrative: On the evening of 12-15-19, a Deputy saw a violation and attempted to stop a motor vehicle being operated by Michael McClymont. McClymont failed to stop, and attempted to speed away from the Deputy. McClymont quickly lost control, and crashed his vehicle, ultimately striking an unoccupied building in the 1300 block of S Division St. McClymont exited his vehicle, and tried to run on foot before he was quickly apprehended. The Deputy learned that McClymont did not have a valid license to drive. McClymont was arrested, and taken before a District Court Commissioner at Central Booking.

Narrative: On 12-16-19, a Deputy conducted a traffic stop for a moving violation. The Deputy learned that the vehicle was occupied by Jayson Morales-Aviles and another adult. The Deputy ran Morales-Aviles’ information, and found that he had been served a Final Protective Order. In the Order, the court ordered that Morales-Aviles was to have no contact with the other adult in the vehicle. The Deputy arrested Morales-Aviles for failure to obey the Final Protective Order. Morales-Aviles was transported to Central Booking to be seen by a District Court Commissioner.

One Million Moms Launches Boycott of Hallmark Channel

An organization of concerned mothers is calling for a boycott of Hallmark Channel. This, after the network pulled an ad showing lesbians at a same-sex wedding ceremony, only to reinstate the ad and announce a partnership with LGBTQ organizations that were critical of Hallmark.

“One Million Moms has just launched an official boycott of Hallmark, and we’re asking our supporters and your listeners to go to OneMillionMoms.com to sign the boycott Hallmark pledge,” One Million Moms Director Monica Cole said on The Todd Starnes Show. “Simply put, we’re asking Hallmark to reconsider airing commercials with same-sex relationships.”

The same goes for Hallmark movies with same-sex relationships.

Chuck Schumer Claims He Will Be an ‘Impartial Juror’ in Senate Impeachment Trial

Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-NY) claimed Tuesday afternoon to be an “impartial juror” after a reporter asked him whether he and fellow Democrats could live up to the standard they had set for Republicans.

Schumer, Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL), and other Democrats accused Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and other Republicans of violating their duty to act as impartial jurors during an anticipated trial for President Donald Trump in the Senate. The House of Representatives is expected to pass articles of impeachment Wednesday.

Democrats, and the media, have claimed that Republicans have already prejudged the outcome of the trial — though most Democrats have also stated their conclusions. Every Senate Democrat running for president has declared that Trump should be impeached (many of them months ago), and most have also said they would vote to remove him.

Schumer insists that McConnell allow new witnesses to be called in the Senate, accusing Republicans of a “cover-up” if they refuse. A reporter at Schumer’s press conference Tuesday in the Capitol then asked the key question:

ACLU calls for tampons and feminine hygiene products to be placed in men’s restrooms to achieve 'menstrual equity' for transgender and non-binary individuals

The American Civil Liberties Union is asking that men's restrooms now include tampons and other menstrual products to push back against sex discrimination for 'every person' who menstruates.

The ACLU released a statement on Tuesday presenting their argument for accessible menstrual products in men's bathrooms to fully accommodate transgender and non-binary people.

'While free menstrual products are not uniformly provided in women’s restrooms, they are almost never available in men’s restrooms, even for pay,' the statement read.

Man sentenced to 16 years in prison for burning church’s pride flag

An Iowa man was sentenced to serve 16 years behind bars after he tore down a rainbow flag symbolizing gay pride from the front of a church and burned it.

Adolfo Martinez, 30, was found guilty of a felony hate crime and third-degree harassment after he tore down the pride flag displayed in front of the United Church of Christ in Ames, Iowa. Martinez ripped down the flag and walked it over to Dangerous Curves Gentleman’s Club, where police say he was a regular.

Martinez, who has two other felonies, received the maximum sentence of 16 years for his crimes because he was a habitual offender. When he committed the crimes in June, he told KCCI that he did it because he despises homosexuality.

92% of Americans Think Their Rights Are at Risk

According to a new Harris Poll/Purple Project survey released Monday, 92% of Americans believe their rights and freedoms are in danger, and part of the problem is political rhetoric, according to a polling expert.

"When you frame something as a threat, it creates a bit of a political response, and it creates division and encampments of special interest," John Gerzema, CEO of the Harris Poll said, reports USA Today.

Illegal Aliens Celebrate New Jersey Giving Them Driver’s Licenses

Illegal aliens in New Jersey celebrated and cheered this week after obtaining the right to a driver’s license following the passage of a law that will be signed by Gov. Phil Murphy (D).

On Monday, following a statewide initiative by the open borders lobby, the New Jersey State House and State Senate passed a bill that will allow illegal aliens living in the sanctuary state to obtain driver’s licenses — similar to that of the laws in California and New York.

After the legislation’s passage, illegal aliens chanted “Sí se puede!” which translates to “Yes we can!” and posted hashtags online such as “#LicensesForAll!”

There are roughly half a million illegal aliens living in the state of New Jersey, and nearly 340,000 of those illegal aliens will be eligible for driver’s licenses within the next three years following Murphy’s signing of the law.

ANNAPOLIS, MD—Governor Larry Hogan today unveiled details of bold and innovative legislation to set Maryland on a path to 100% clean electricity by 2040. The Clean and Renewable Energy Standard (CARES) continues the Hogan administration’s strong commitment to leading the charge on affordable clean energy, climate change, and greenhouse gas emissions reductions—setting an example of skilled environmental stewardship.

The CARES plan, which the governor will submit on the first day of the upcoming legislative session, is bolder than a proposal passed by the General Assembly earlier this year.

Joined by Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) Secretary Ben Grumbles and Maryland Energy Administration (MEA) Director Mary Beth Tung, the governor made today’s announcement at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center, following a tour of the facility’s state-of-the-art combined heat and power system, which was installed in 2017 using a $464,700 grant from MEA to assist with costs.
