Governor Larry Hogan Signs Executive Order Declaring State of Emergency in Howard County
Order Issued in Response to Severe Thunderstorms and Flooding
ANNAPOLIS, MD – Governor Larry Hogan today signed an Executive Order declaring a state of emergency in Howard County beginning Sunday, July 31 at 10 a.m. in response to severe thunderstorms that occurred overnight and early this morning. The thunderstorms caused extensive damage to property and infrastructure in the central part of the state, including intense flooding in the historic town of Ellicott City. The Executive Order will allow the state to efficiently coordinate support and provide additional assistance to Howard County.
The governor declared the State of Emergency from Howard County, where he is meeting with local officials and citizens in Ellicott City, and surveying the damage caused by recent flooding.
“We are coordinating all available resources to address this emergency as quickly as possible,” said Governor Hogan. “Our administration is working closely with local officials, including Howard County Executive Allen Kittleman, to respond to this major storm event. ”
The Hogan administration has asked state agencies to respond to the effects of this storm, including the Maryland Emergency Management Agency, which has increased its activation level and is coordinating resource requests received from Howard County.
Those affected by the storm who are in need of non-emergency assistance can call Howard County’s Police Department at 410-313-2200.

BREAKING NEWS: FARMERS BANK OF WILLARDS ON FIRE: UPDATE
Stations 8, 7, 79 and 11 have been alerted. Now command is requesting a truck from ANYWHERE. There's a lot of screaming on the radio. They have now requested a second hose line.
Berlin ladder 6 is now responding.
Command has requested Selbyville to stand by.
Someone just screamed they are trying to cut a hole in the roof and it's caving in. Now someone is screaming they need water boosted ASAP.
Selbyville, DE. has been called in to assist. They need the manpower.
It is now 3:00 PM. This picture was taken just moments ago.
Showell Fire Company in Worcester County is heading to Willards to cover the station. Fruitland was also called in.
According to a neighbor there was a massive thunder bolt minutes before smoke started coming out of the building. More than likely lightning is what started this fire.
We're told the lightening bolt friend their computer base located in that part of the building. Could be quite a mess trying to straighten all of their branch figures out.
Interesting how they have been bypassing ALL of the Salisbury Fire Departments during this whole event. It must be a dig from Mayor Day and Councilman Ireton to NOT participate with the County in any way. Time for Executive Culver to put his Big Boy pants on and cut off the City completely.

Salisbury News Confirms, Thousands Chanting Black Lives Matter
While the leaders of Ocean City had all good intentions putting out commercials inviting people to come visit Ocean City Maryland, the stakeholders of Ocean City weren't aware just where those ads were being placed. This has become a massive issue now.
Many of those ads have been placed in Baltimore City and guess what, they've worked. You get what you pay for. Now, don't come back here in comments and call me a racist. I have always told the TRUTH. You may not LIKE that we go right for the throat but unlike the rest of your main stream media, we tell it like it is.
So now people are commenting the issues we had this past weekend had nothing to do with the BLM movement, that's not true. I have seen video of HUNDREDS of people yelling BLACK LIVES MATTER while the Police were trying to break things up. Some have also said the numbers weren't even in the hundreds, NOT TRUE. The numbers were in the low thousands at one point, you just haven't see it yet.
I can tell you that there have been hundreds of elderly people staying at Hotels on vacation who packed their bags and left Ocean City. I was told the main reason was because they are scared. Ladies & Gentlemen, this is a serious problem. I also have friends who walk the Boardwalk every single morning and they have NEVER seen so much trash on the Beach in their lifetime of living in Ocean City.
I have seen other waterfront resort communities experience the very same problem in the past. While they recognized this as being a very serious problem, bikini contests, strip clubs and massive fights emerged and the problems got even worse. In order to FIX things they had to recognize by driving certain businesses out and restricting certain events that were causing problems, they had to tighten their belts and know they were going to see losses for a period of time but they did so to save these resort communities.
Ocean City has a unique problem, (I've mentioned this in the past). Their employees, (during the best of times) received huge salaries. They didn't see the recession coming and when it hit it took the millions in reserves and depleted those funds in a very short period of time. All of a sudden they started adding fees like you had to now get a permit to put in a new A/C unit. Floating Docks and so on. They had to advertise anywhere and everywhere to draw in as much traffic as possible in order to survive. This has created a monster.
The ONLY way Ocean City is going to stay away from becoming the next Atlantic City is to immediately rethink their marketing strategies not only in where to draw in traffic, they need to figure out how they're going to survive within the enormous salaries they've grown to enjoy so much.
When you have 70 cops against more then a thousands thugs, someone is going to get hurt. Citizens are going to instinctively want to help defend police being overwhelmed and a race riot is going to break out. Remember, many of these Officers do NOT carry weapons/guns.

Joe,
I heard that there was a major issue yesterday regarding BLM and OCPD - bottle/rock throwing at police, several bars closed early by OCPD, race baiting, etc. All of the bartenders seem to know about this, but there is nothing being reported in MSM locally (big surprise) nor is anything noted on OCPDs stats page - not sure if there is more to this, but wanted to share it with you.

BREAKING NEWS: WICOMICO COUNTY RESIDENTS ARE IN DEEP TROUBLE
In less than 24 hours a war has broken out between the City of Salisbury and Wicomico County.
Yesterday the Farmers Bank of Willards was struck by lightning and experienced $300,000.00 in damage. The hidden part of that story is, fire departments from Selbyville, DE., Berlin, Fruitland and others in Wicomico County were called in. Dispatch went nuts trying to find ANY stations out there that could respond but almost all of them are Volunteer Stations and it takes time to not only get to the Station but also to respond.
The City of Salisbury could respond but clearly Dispatch is NOT allowed to call in the City for a County fire. Mind you, this is now at the expense of property owners based on BORDERS.
That being said, this morning there was a serious accident on Beaglin Park Drive and North Park Drive. If you had been listening to the scanner, Salisbury Police and the Wicomico Sheriffs Office were fighting between each other as to who's territory this accident belongs to. So clearly it's a TURF WAR within all emergency services and quite frankly Ladies & Gentlemen, this needs to end TODAY!
County Executive Culver and Mayor Jake Day, (this all started between Ireton/Culver) need to put aside their differences and resolve this matter immediately. I can only wonder just how often this has happened over time but we were fortunate to catch both these calls in the past 24 hours to know, there's a serious problem.
Look, I just report. Don't come after me. This is a serious problem and we the taxpayers are experiencing ridiculous losses because the people who were elected are infighting. Bob, Jake, get to the table today and resolve this immediately before someone gets seriously hurt or dies.

Should The Farmers Bank of Willards Consider Closing Their Salisbury Branch?
After it became evident that 911 Dispatch has been told the City of Salisbury is not to respond to County emergencies, The Farmers Bank of Willards experienced, (now) $750,000.00 worth of damages to their main Office.
Even the Daily Times reported, (below) the FACT that the City will NOT participate in County calls.
Ireton: Fire service to stop at Salisbury city limits
Salisbury Mayor Jim Ireton said city emergency services would only serve Salisbury proper.
I'm sure all of you recall the big fire back in January, 2008 in Cambridge. We saw Salisbury and even Ocean City, (and several others) respond all the way to Cambridge but the City now refuses to respond to the County.

All those millions of dollars spent on Tankers the City Taxpayers paid for, yet there's a fire hydrant everywhere within City Limits. Why have Tankers?
Perhaps some of you don't realize that Wicomico County does pay the City of Salisbury every single year for fire services.
I wonder, will the Farmers Bank consider closing their Salisbury Branch? Will they consider suing the City for ignoring their desperate need for immediate help?
Imagine the Family who was to have a closing this morning on their very first home, but they can't. How about the new business owner who was supposed to sign papers for their new business loan, but they can't. Then there's all those employees in the main office who have nowhere to go today.
This is a massive and unnecessary loss to our community. Sure, there would have been damage but I highly doubt it would have been $750,000.00 worth of damage.
What a shame.

BREAKING: 3:58PM TODAY:
Just announced: Debbie Wasserman Schultz will step down from DNC Chair after the DNC Convention in Philadelphia! -- Fox News.
By Thornton Crowe
As many of you heard, last Friday, Wikileaks released a trove of emails centering around the DNC, Media and Clinton campaign's collusion as they worked together to defeat Bernie Sanders. The whole snafu has resulted in Debbie Wasserman Schultz, chair of the DNC, will not be overseeing or speaking at the convention this week in Philly.

While, we think its only Sanders, nothing could be further from the truth. I have been reading through the 20K+ emails and one thing has become abundantly clear as the polls are playing in the background...
The Bernie Problem, looking for solutions. |
Who Can We Trust?
Directions to the Press including the Rules. |
Here are just a couple of the multitudes I have on file now. These emails are so damning it defies any comprehension just how steeped in corruption and deceit all three have perpetrated against American voters to promote a badly failed candidate.
Identical Headlines |
Note: Many pundits (Republicans/Democrats) and anchors on Fox News have found this astounding considering in opinion polls, the speech resonated with many Americans as well as Frank Luntz's poll group on that night.
More Comparisons in 'Dark' |
This is no longer about cheering for one team verses another, it's about flat out deception and corruption against us, the voters. This is NOT how our Founding Fathers saw elections for the future!
While I'm still working on my research, just thought I would throw these out there to you guys to weigh in on these findings. For me, it's disturbing to think of the way cheating has become a mainstay -- acceptable -- in our culture.
How says you...
Note: This is developing. More emails are going to be released soon from the DNC leaks. Stay Tuned!
Salisbury Store Closes Down Once Again
This old 7-11 store on Main Street and Mt. Hermon Road just can't seem to survive, no matter how many different names and owners have a go at it. I'm sure Mayor Jake Day will open some type of rainbow club there if it sits empty too long again.

STATEMENT AFTER CHARGES DROPPED AGAINST REMAINING OFFICERS REGARDING FREDDIE GRAY
ACLU of Maryland Statement on the Announcement that
Charges Will Be Dropped Against Remaining Officers
Regarding Freddie Gray
The following statement may be attributed to Deborah Jeon, Legal Director for the ACLU of Maryland:
"It is a travesty that not one Baltimore Police officer will be held accountable by the court in the killing of Freddie Gray.
"But those who claim that the outcomes of the cases mean that the officers should never have been prosecuted in the first place are just wrong. We cannot lose sight of the fact that criminally charging on-duty police officers in the killing of an unarmed Black man and taking them to trial was itself a historic moment for Baltimore. The trials brought to light the powerful structural barriers that protect police officers in cases of misconduct and brutality-our collective acceptance of police militarization, unequal legal standards, and the blue wall of silence, among other things. For too long, these barriers have been an excuse for not prosecuting officers in the first place.
"As Baltimore State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby herself said, it is time for our elected and appointed officials to take responsibility for dismantling the structural barriers to police accountability.
"Baltimore Police Commissioner Kevin Davis and Baltimore's elected officials have an obvious place to start: Agree to put voting civilian members on police trial boards in misconduct investigations and refuse to cave to the Baltimore Fraternal Order of Police in the collective bargaining agreement negotiations happening right now. State officials should follow swiftly in Annapolis by changing the law to ensure that internal affairs investigations are not kept secret."
Maryland city working to remove Taney bust from public space
The push to remove a bust of Roger Brooke Taney from outside Frederick City Hall is advancing after considerable delays.
The city’s Historic Preservation Commission on Thursday will review in a workshop session an application to remove both the Taney bust and one of Gov. Thomas Johnson from outside City Hall. A vote is scheduled for the commission’s Aug. 11 meeting, according to a report by Lisa Mroszczyk Murphy, a city historic preservation planner.
The application, submitted by Nikki Bamonti, executive assistant to the mayor, comes nearly a year after Alderwoman Donna Kuzemchak put forth the proposal to relocate a bust of Taney from outside City Hall, and 10 months after the aldermen formally adopted a resolution in support of her proposal.

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange says his next leak will virtually guarantee an indictment of Hillary Clinton
WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange says his next leak will virtually guarantee an indictment of Hillary Clinton.
In a recent interview with ITV, Assange said the whistleblowing website will soon be leaking documents that will provide “enough evidence” for the Department of Justice to indict the presumptive Democratic nominee. WikiLeaks has already published 30,322 emails from Clinton’s private email server, spanning from June 30, 2010 to August 12, 2014. While Assange didn’t specify what exactly was in the emails, he did tell ITV that WikiLeaks had “accumulated a lot of material about Hillary Clinton, which could proceed to an indictment.”
Assange hinted that the emails slated for publication contain additional information about the Clinton Foundation. He also reminded ITV’s Robert Peston that previously released emails contained one damning piece of communication from Clinton, instructing a staffer to remove the classification settings from an official State Department communication and send it through a “nonsecure” channel. Assange then pointed out that the Obama administration has previously prosecuted numerous whistleblowers for violating the government’s procedures for handling classified documents.

Excessive Force Lawsuit Filed Against OC Over 2013 Beach Melee
OCEAN CITY — A Virginia woman involved in a beach melee three years ago filed suit in federal court last week against an Ocean City police officer, the department, the Town of Ocean City and Worcester County, alleging excessive force and negligence among other charges.
Last Wednesday, nearly three years to the day of the July 2013 incident, Dalima Palmer, now 27, of Dumfries, Va., filed suit in U.S. District Court against the officer who allegedly tackled her to the ground while she was nine months pregnant during a brawl on the beach, two more OCPD officers who allegedly denied her medical attention while in police custody and other officers who remained in her hospital room at PRMC while she gave birth to her child via C-section. The suit also names the chief of police, the Town of Ocean City and Worcester County for alleged negligence in the hiring and training of the officers. The suit seeks $500,000 in compensatory damages and $500,000 in punitive damages against the various defendants named in the complaint.
The incident began around 2:30 p.m. on July 21, 2013 when Ocean City police responded to the beach at North Division Street for a reported group of disorderly males. The request for assistance came from an Ocean City Beach Patrol lifeguard, who told police he had approached the group about playing soccer on the crowded beach, at which time one of the suspects allegedly threatened him.
When OCPD officers attempted to speak with the suspect, identified as Abdul Kargbo of Woodbridge, Va., he began cursing and yelling at the officers and attempted to leave the scene. As officers attempted to arrest Kargbo, other members in the disorderly group began to yell at police and act in a disorderly manner.

Salisbury is staffed with firefighters using City funds. They are meant to protect the citizes of Salisbury. They should only need to come out into the county areas as a last resort.

What the Media isn't Showing You! UPDATE
By Thornton Crowe
Update from Bernie delegate inside convention: WATCH THIS VIDEO!!!
This is what happened last night when the Roll Call concluded - not what was shown on television. During Clinton's speech last night, whole states were missing as 1K+ walked out after Bernie Sanders gave all his delegates to Hillary Clinton. Strategically, the camera angles were placed to avoid this area of the floor.
After the walk-out, 700 delegates' credentials were pulled and barred from re-entry into the DNC Convention. Banana Republic in full force.
Incidentally, today on Craig's List, an ad appeared for the DNC for 'actors' to come to the Convention today. See the video for more information!
Here's tweet from last night showing the exact number as needed in the Craig's List ad.
Things that make you wonder...
UPDATE: Just searched for the Craigslist advert and it is flagged for removal; however, here is an image of craiglist's archive. Funny, wish you people were as scrutinizing about Hillary Clinton as you are about a Craig's List ad! Link I used to access! http://archive.is/jPZx5

Hillary Strategist Blames "Stupid White People" For Popularity of Trump
"Stupid white people are the worst"
Senior Hillary strategist and former Obama campaign director Mitch Stewart says that the continuing popularity of Donald Trump can be attributed to one factor – “stupid white people.”
Stewart, who is white himself, is the founder of 270 Strategies, a consultancy firm that worked with Clinton Super PAC Ready for Hillary.
He also served as Battleground States Director for President Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign and was hailed by the Guradian as helping to build “a historic ground operation that will provide the model for political campaigns in America and around the world for years to come.”
In a tweet, Stewart asserts, “Uneducated whites are keeping @realDonaldTrump at his current numbers. Stupid white people are the worst.”

A Viewer Writes: Piedmont Airlines Update
Can't believe no one is talking about this. I don't see Salisbury staying open as a base. They are not bringing jet maintenance here and once the dash 8's are gone there will be no more need for maintenance here. From what I'm told they can't work on the jets in the current hangar nor are they training the current employees on jet maintenance. After that what will be the need to keep headquarters here? They have already stopped doing training here. Astonished that the county is just letting this slip through their fingers and not doing anything to help stop it. This will leave Salisbury as a destination only. Jobs will be relocated or eliminated.
Philadelphia Inquirer columnist: Dress Melania Trump wore during RNC speech was racist
Back in my advertising days, “Sports Illustrated” invited my team to a luncheon to meet their models for that year’s swimsuit issue. We all received personally autographed pictures of Elle Macpherson, the beautiful model nicknamed “The Body.” As we took a cab back to the office after the event, I asked a female colleague what she thought. Her answer was “She has fat ankles.”
Ever since Melania Trump won over a large percentage of the nation with her speech the first night of the Republican Convention, the liberal media have been spouting the political equivalent of that sour grapes message.
After Mrs. Trump displayed class and grace in a speech where she spoke of her love of her adopted country and her family, the media homed in on the 70 out of 2000 words that her speechwriter lifted from a Michelle Obama speech.
Now it turns out that wasn’t even the craziest reaction. According to Elizabeth Wellington, fashion writer at the Philadelphia Inquirer, the dress Melania wore was an example of the racism of both the Republican Party and Donald Trump (h/t Freedom Outpost):

Clinton's campaign manager: Russia helping Trump
Hillary Clinton's campaign manager is alleging that Russian hackers are leaking Democratic National Committee emails critical of Bernie Sanders in an effort to help Donald Trump win the election in November.
It comes on the heels of "changes to the Republican platform to make it more pro-Russian," Robby Mook told CNN's Jake Tapper on "State of the Union" Sunday.
"I don't think it's coincidental that these emails were released on the eve of our convention here, and I think that's disturbing," he said.
The DNC has previously had its files hacked by an individual named "Guccifer 2.0" that may have had ties to the Russians.
