Tom Cruise’s Nightmare Scientology Wedding: Leah Remini Opens Up About Her 'Reprogramming'
In a revealing interview with “20/20,” “King of Queens” star Leah Remini opened up about her break with Scientology in 2013, explaining that part of her decision to leave the church grew out of her discomfort with the attention that the organization lavished on its star member Tom Cruise, who she felt was embrarassing the Church with his frequent public antics.
“I was saying that I didn’t think he was becoming of Scientologists, jumping on couches, and attacking Matt Lauer, to attacking Brooke Shields,” she explained. “What the hell is this guy doing? We need to rein it in. We need to stop all this. And he just needs to be an actor.”
Remini details a story of church officials inviting her Tom Cruise’s home one night to teach him salsa dancing. When she got there, Cruise and his new girlfriend Katie Holmes were making out, and Remini joked that they ought to “get a fricking room.” Church officials then filed a “knowledge report” (basically an official complaint) about Remini, which the actress was forced to deal with in auditing sessions.
As she explains, she was “immediately dealt with” after the “incident,” with the Church implying that “the only reason you’re saying these things is because you have your own transgressions.”
“You immediately become guilty,” she added. “Being critical of Tom Ccruise is being critical of Scientology itself. You are a person who is anti the aims and goals of scientology, you are evil.”

Across the Bay 10K Race to affect Bay Bridge traffic on Sunday
The eastbound spread will close for the Across the Bay 10K race. Officials said motorists should anticipate heavy traffic and delays.
Two-way traffic operations will be in place on the westbound span. One lane of traffic will operate in each direction on the westbound span, with the center lane closed to traffic.
MTA said the center lane may open to traffic intermittently to help reduce westbound delays.
In addition, two detours will be in place on the Eastern Shore because of to the race.

More Americans Than Ever Use Prescription Drugs
More Americans than ever are taking prescription drugs — close to 60 percent of U.S. adults, according to new research.
And most seem to be related to obesity, with cholesterol and blood pressure drugs leading the pack, researchers report in the Journal of the American Medical Association.
The single most popular drug is Zocor, a cholesterol-lowering drug in a class called statins, said Elizabeth Kantor, formerly of the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in Boston, and now at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. The drug, known generically as simvastatin, is taken by 8 percent of the U.S. population.

Lisa Blatt: The legal mind behind the Redskins ‘Take Yo Panties Off’ trademark defense
Those names — and many more too profane to publish here — were a provocative new wrinkle in the National Football League team’s long-standing legal argument that far worse monikers than the Redskins have trademark registrations.
But one other important name was also new in the brief filed with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit, based in Richmond: Lisa S. Blatt. The 50-year-old Arnold & Porter partner is the Redskins’ new attorney in the case, and she’s a big-time advocate.
Blatt has argued 33 cases before the U.S. Supreme Court — more than any other female litigator in the country. She won 32 of them. The Web site 360 Law dubbed her Arnold & Porter’s “pugnacious powerhouse” and lauded her “ruthlessly martial brand of courtroom combat.”

Toyota US Sales Surge in October
Toyota's sales surged 13% in October, compared to the same period a year earlier, as the company's mainstream brand and luxury nameplate enjoyed solid increases.
Sales of the Toyota brand rose 13%, reaching an all-time October high of 177,609 units. Sales of the luxury Lexus brand rose 13.2% to 26,436.
Pickup trucks, sport-utility vehicles and crossovers led the way for the Japanese automaker, posting a 16.7% gain for the Toyota brand and a 33.9% gain for Lexus.

‘Black Power’ Administrator Costs University $4.8 Million
Beverly Wilkins was a professor at Harris-Stowe State University’s College of Education from 2001 until 2010, when she was fired. In 2012, though, she struck back with a lawsuit, saying her departure wasn’t for budgetary or performance reasons but instead was due to an administrator’s vendetta against the white race.
According to Wilkins’ lawsuit, she started to be pushed out at Harris-Stowe after the college hired Latisha Smith as a faculty member in 2007. Smith was quickly promoted to assistant dean and then dean of the College of Education, and Wilkins said she subscribed to a “black power” ideology that drove her to purge the college of all whites. In 2010 Wilkins was fired, with Smith blaming the move on state budget cuts. Wilkins says every white professor at the school was ultimately let go, except for one protected by tenure. Meanwhile, only one black professor was let go, and it was due to a sex crime conviction.

Auditors troubled over city's handling of $6.2M in federal grants
BALTIMORE —Auditors with the Baltimore City Comptroller's Office are questioning the Housing Authority of Baltimore City's handling of $6.2 million in federal grants.
Auditors said they find the lack of internal controls troubling, and there's concern that the city may have to pay some or all of the money back to the federal government.
The audit found discrepancies in the agency's handling of federal energy assistance grants it doled out to eligible low-income households.
"In this case, in our sample, we found 24 missing folders -- they didn't provide them for us -- and approximately 90 that had missing parts," City Auditor Robert McCarty said.

Barack Obama is not seeking "legacy"
To the many gullible souls out there who truly think that Barack Obama is "legacy building" in his all-out assault on America, I implore you to bow out of the conversation because you are not seeing clearly.
The term legacy carries positive connotations of something bequeath that is to the receiver's benefit. Everything that Barack Obama does is calculated to destroy America, which he despises. This man no more cares about legacy than he fears being properly prosecuted by the white political leaders whose responsibility it is to remove him from office.
I focus on white leaders, because whites are still in the majority and they fill the majority of political offices. If the majority of political operatives were of some other ethnicity, I would lodge my complaint against that group. Ethnicity is an issue only because Obama is half-black and he uses that fact to intimidate guilt-conflicted white people. Otherwise, he would have been impeached and likely in prison for treason by now.
Barack Obama's sole aim has been, since he first entered politics and continues as he winds down this presidency, the complete destruction of America as it was founded.

He admits while the weapons may have saved his life a time or two in war, the paintbrushes and paper have absolutely saved him now that he’s home.
Like many war veterans, the 30-year-old Denton native had trouble readjusting to civilian life after spending the better part of three years overseas fighting in America’s war in the Middle East.
“Art has brought me a long way, because I couldn’t bring myself to talk about what I experienced,” said Merritt, “but when I found art, I realized I was able to show people how I was feeling. It changed the way I was able to communicate with the world.”
A gallery of Merritt’s art work called “The Things I Carry” will debut in the Galleria at the Ocean City Center for the Arts’ 94th street location at 5 p.m. on Friday night and will be showcased throughout the month of November.

Homeowner Assn. Says Remove Christmas Display
Think Clark Griswald on steroids.
His annual Christmas display includes tens of thousands of lights, a Living Nativity, a 22-voice choir and a camel named Dolly.
Folks travel from all over town to experience the larger-than-life Christmas display – and spectators say it is indeed something to behold.
But the West Hayden Estates First Addition Homeowners Association does not share Jeremy’s yuletide cheer.
Last year, he purchased a home in their neighborhood – with hopes of making his annual holiday event bigger and better.
The HOA objected to the lavish display and put Jeremy on their naughty list.
They were especially upset about the religious nature of Jeremy’s display – as noted in a certified letter he said he received from the homeowner’s association board.
“I am somewhat hesitant in bringing up the fact that some of our residents are non-Christians or of another faith and I don’t even want to think of the problems that could bring up,” the letter read.

HEROIN DEALER SENTENCED TO 15 YEARS WITHOUT PAROLE
On October 5, 2015, a Wicomico County jury convicted Sheppard of Possession of a Large Amount of Heroin, Importation of Heroin into the State of Maryland, two counts of Possession with the Intent to Distribute Heroin, two counts of Possession of Heroin, Drug Trafficking, Wear/Carry a Firearm During the Commission of a Drug Trafficking Crime, Wear/ Carry and Transport a Handgun in a Vehicle, Illegal Possession of a Regulated Firearm, Possession of a Rifle by a Disqualified Person, and three counts of Possession of Paraphernalia.
The charges against Sheppard arose out of a traffic stop on June 9, 2015, by the Wicomico County Narcotics Task Force and several assisting law enforcement agencies. Law enforcement officers followed a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta as it traveled from Delaware into the State of Maryland. Once in Wicomico County, Maryland, officers effectuated a traffic stop on the vehicle and were able to identify Sheppard as the driver and a male as the front seat passenger. Based on statements made at the traffic stop and a positive K-9 alert on the vehicle, a search was conducted on the 2014 Volkswagen Jetta. The search resulted in the recovery of 201 grams of heroin and a Davis Industries P-380 semi-automatic handgun with a magazine containing two live rounds of live ammunition. The 201 grams of heroin was located in a shoe box on the front passenger floor board. The handgun was located in the center console next to Sheppard’s purse.
A subsequent Search and Seizure Warrant was executed on Sheppard’s home located at 223 New York Avenue, Salisbury, Maryland. Upon execution of the warrant, members of the Task Force located a Central Machinery kilogram press with trace amounts of heroin, a digital scale with trace amounts of heroin, paraphernalia and a POF USA Rifle with a magazine and ten live rounds of ammunition. The kilogram press was located in a detached garage located behind the home. The rifle was located in the master bedroom under the bed.
Sheppard has prior convictions on her record which prohibited her from possessing a handgun or rifle on June 9, 2015.
The facts at trial revealed that Sheppard and Williams had traveled to New Jersey to buy the heroin. The jury was able to conclude that based on the quantity and packaging of the heroin, when combined with the handgun, scale, kilogram press and paraphernalia, that Sheppard possessed the heroin for distribution.
Wicomico County State’s Attorney Matthew Maciarello commended the Wicomico County Narcotics Task Force, the Maryland State Police Gang Enforcement Unit, the Maryland State Police Apprehension Team and the Drug Enforcement Administration for their work in this investigation and their assistance with this prosecution.
Mr. Maciarello also thanks the citizens of Wicomico County and Senior State’s Attorney, Patrizia J. Coletta, who prosecuted the case.

Troopers Investigate Vehicle Crash Involving a School Bus
The preliminary investigation revealed the incident occurred around 3:29 p.m. today, Thursday, November 05, 2015, as Jami Baker, 22 of Laurel, was operating a 2002 Oldsmobile Alero eastbound on Shiloh Church Road in the area of Chipsmans Pond Road directly behind the school bus. Pamela Johnson, 53 of Laurel, was operating a 2006 Blue Bird school bus and was stopped at the stop sign facing eastbound. The Alero failed to stop and struck the rear of the bus with the front bumper.
Jami Baker was treated and released at the scene with minor injuries. She was cited for Following to Closely.
The bus driver, Pamela Johnson, and six students on board the bus were uninjured in the collision.

Antarctica is actually gaining ice, says NASA. Is global warming over?
In a paper published in the Journal of Glaciology on Friday, researchers from NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, the University of Maryland in College Park, and the engineering firm Sigma Space Corporation offer a new analysis of satellite data that show a net gain of 112 billion tons of ice a year from 1992 to 2001 in the Antarctic ice sheet.
That gain slowed to 82 billion tons of ice per year between 2003 and 2008.

President Obama appears to have a backup plan in case federal courts keep blocking his 2014 executive actions to provide work permits for millions of illegal immigrants and allow them to avoid deportation, according to a leaked Department of Homeland Security document.
According to the internal memo, the administration is floating four options for dealing with an uncooperative court system -- including one giving so-called Employment Authorization Documents to "all individuals living in the United States," including illegal aliens, visa-overstayers, and H-1B guest-workers. A narrower option would give them only to those in the U.S. with unexpired non-immigrant visas.
"If this administration was half as determined to uphold immigration law as it is to undermining them, our borders would be secure, sanctuary cities would cease to exist, and criminal immigrants would be deported instead of being released back into our neighborhoods," said Texas GOP Sen. Lamar Smith, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee. "This memo shows the great lengths to which DHS officials have gone in order to defy a federal judge’s orders."

Taxpayer bill to resettle 35,000 Mideast refugees: $2.3 billion
The Center for Immigration Studies cites “heavy welfare use” as the main reason why refugees are so costly to resettle. This flies in the face of oft-quoted comments by U.S. mayors who claim refugees add to their tax base and promote economic growth, making for a more “culturally diverse” and “economically resilient” city.
The CIS study indicates they are more of a drain on the economy than a boost.
The $64,370 cost to U.S. taxpayers over five years is a “conservative estimate” presented in a new study released by CIS’ chief researcher and statistician.

‘Gay’ Rape in Military Under-reported By Pentagon
Far more military men are being raped by other men than is reported by the Pentagon because of the stigma attached to such sexual assaults, says a new study published by the American Psychological Association.
“Rates of military sexual trauma among men who served in the military may be as much as 15 times higher than has been previously reported, largely because of barriers associated with stigma, beliefs in myths about male rape, and feelings of helplessness,” the APA said in releasing the findings Tuesday.
The Defense Department issues a biannual report on sexual assaults. Based on Internet emailed surveys it found that more men than women, in pure numbers, are sexually assault victims. Women make up about 14.5 percent of the 1.4 million active force.
“Male veterans who reported being sexually assaulted while serving their country suffered more severe symptoms of PTSD and depression, had higher rates of suicidal thoughts and were more likely to enroll in outpatient mental health treatment than those who were not assaulted,” the researchers found.
In 2013, the Pentagon reported that in just one year, 26,000 service members were the victims of sexual assaults, 14,000 of them men.
If the study’s findings are based on one year, the true number for military men may be 210,000 sexual assaults per year.

House proposal aims to put the brakes on predatory towing
The proposal passed as an amendment to the House transportation bill, which provides federal funding for state and local projects and is expected to pass this week. Reps. Don Beyer (D-Va.) and Chris Van Hollen (D-MD.), who pushed the measure, had introduced a standalone bill earlier this year, saying local governments should have the power to pass their own regulations of the towing industry.
“Predatory towing practices harm consumers and can lead to real financial pain,” Van Hollen said in a statement. “Local communities should be able to address consumer complaints and crack down on companies that engage in abusive towing practices, and this amendment will give them back that authority.”

British Prime Minister David Cameron reportedly has dropped plans for a parliamentary vote on extending anti-ISIS airstrikes to Syria, in the latest blow to President Obama’s attempts to form a stronger coalition against the Islamic terror group.
Though the U.K. has joined the U.S. in conducting airstrikes against ISIS in Iraq since 2014, multiple U.K. media outlets including The Guardian and The Times of London reported Cameron was hoping to put a vote forward in the House of Commons on joining the U.S. as the Obama administration seeks to regain its foothold amid a surging Russian presence. Those outlets report Cameron has since shelved the move.
A Foreign Affairs Committee report issued Tuesday also urged Cameron not to join the airstrikes unless there was a “coherent international strategy” that can realistically defeat ISIS.
“In the absence of such a strategy, taking action to meet the desire to do something is still incoherent,” the report said.

The PSA on the government’s Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) Web site came just a week after the U.S. EMV liability shift took effect. With it, the FBI, apparently unwittingly, put itself in the middle of an ongoing controversy between bankers and retailers over cardholder authentication with the new chip cards that are replacing magnetic-stripe payment cards.
Bankers support signatures with EMV credit card transactions, saying the chip, which generates a one-time cryptogram with each transaction, provides strong security, and they also say consumers are used to signing with credit transactions but not using PINs. But fraud-weary retailers want PIN authentication not only with EMV debit cards, as is traditional, but also with chip credit cards.

It's Guy Fawkes Day!
On this day, the UK celebrates the foiling of a plot to kill King James I in 1605 by lighting fireworks and, in a morbid twist, burning an effigy of poor Guy.
It's easy to forget that this celebration has grim roots. Guy Fawkes was part of a Catholic plot to kill a Protestant king and his English lords.
The plot failed, which was particularly unfortunate for Fawkes. He was the one guy in the plot unlucky enough to be discovered late on November 4 with dozens of barrels of gunpowder hidden under where the king would sit the next day. The discovery came after a tip-off to a Catholic politician led to an inspection of the cellars under parliament.
Fawkes was swiftly taken into custody at the Tower of London and interrogated until he eventually gave up his coconspirators.
While we'll never know precisely what happened to Fawkes during that period, it seems pretty likely it was bad. There is speculation that Fawkes was tortured using a rack during his stay in the Tower of London.

It's easy to forget that this celebration has grim roots. Guy Fawkes was part of a Catholic plot to kill a Protestant king and his English lords.
The plot failed, which was particularly unfortunate for Fawkes. He was the one guy in the plot unlucky enough to be discovered late on November 4 with dozens of barrels of gunpowder hidden under where the king would sit the next day. The discovery came after a tip-off to a Catholic politician led to an inspection of the cellars under parliament.
Fawkes was swiftly taken into custody at the Tower of London and interrogated until he eventually gave up his coconspirators.
While we'll never know precisely what happened to Fawkes during that period, it seems pretty likely it was bad. There is speculation that Fawkes was tortured using a rack during his stay in the Tower of London.

Pentagon Suspends Missile Defense Program After Blimp Escapes
WJZ’s Derek Valcourt has more.
The Pentagon announces it has indefinitely suspended program that operated the military JLENS blimps until after the completion of a lengthy investigation into how one of the blimps broke free over Maryland and drifted out of control more than 150 miles into Pennsylvania.
The blimps which could often be seen in pairs over the skies of Maryland were only in a testing phase and use high-powered radar designed to help detect low flying missile threats.

During an interview with Larry King, political strategist Roger Stone asserted that presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s pro-women stance was a fraud given her past role in hiring people to terrorize women who alleged they were raped by Bill Clinton.
Stone, who now describes himself as a libertarian, just released a book entitled The Clintons’ War on Women and was previously a political advisor for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, although Trump subsequently fired him.

Women of all ages and men over 50 who regularly walked for more than 30 minutes were found to weigh less than those who took part in vigorous activities like jogging or cycling.
Research by the London School of Economics discovered people who walked a lot had lower BMIs and smaller waists than those who took part in regular sport.
Dr Grace Lordan, a specialist in health economics who led the research, compared the measurements of people who took part in activities which increased heart rate and caused perspiring.
She compared people who said they regularly did half-an-hour of fast-paced walking to those who did the same amount of heavy housework, manual labour and sports like rugby.
Waistline and BMI measurements showed that men and women who regularly walked briskly for more than 30 minutes had lower BMIs and smaller waists than those who engaged in regular exercise.

Our view on Thompson is less favorable … although we’ve been repeatedly told we’re not supposed to say bad things about former elected officials after they die. So … we’ll refer our readers to an open letter published last January, around the time Thompson started shilling for a company that sells taxpayer-guaranteed loans targeting old people on fixed incomes.
Written by Liz Main, the open letter exposed the predatory nature of these loans – and then sought to determine whether Thompson was vouching for them in his capacity as an actor or former elected official.

It allowed for reverse mortgages to be insured by the FHA, meaning the lending institution would not lose money. Once there was no financial risk for lenders, they started pushing the loans aggressively.”

Harrington, DE - The Delaware State Police are issuing a Gold Alert for David Wynes, who was last seen walking from the Harrington Respite Home at 4548 Milford-Harrington Hwy, Harrington eastbound towards the Milford area on November 3, 2015 at approximately 2:00 p.m. in the afternoon.
David Wynes is a white male, 71 years old, 6’02” tall, 145 lbs., brown hair and brown eyes.
Troopers have been unable to make contact with Wynes to check on his welfare. Attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful and there is a real concern for his safety and welfare. It is believed that David Wynes may be in the area of Milford or Harrington.

Ignoring the Obvious - Thomas Sowell
What has received far less attention, though it is a far larger question, with more sweeping implications, is the role of disruptive students in schools.
Critics of charter schools have often pointed to those schools' ability to expel uncooperative and disruptive students, far more readily than regular public schools can, as a reason for some charter schools' far better educational outcomes, as shown on many tests.
The message of these critics is that it is "unfair" to compare regular public schools' results with those of charter schools serving the same neighborhoods -- and often in the same buildings. This criticism ignores the fact that schools do not exist to provide jobs for teachers or "fairness" to institutions, but to provide education for students.
"Fairness" is for human beings, not for institutions. Institutions that are not serving the needs of people should either be changed or phased out and replaced, when they persistently fail.
Despite the painfully bad educational outcomes in many public schools in ghettos across the country, there are also cases where charter schools in the very same ghettos turn out students whose test scores are not only far higher than those in other ghetto schools, but sometimes are comparable to the test scores in schools in upscale suburban communities, where children come from intact families with highly educated parents.

Dogs that take to water need to be careful where they swim right now because in places like the Magothy River in Anne Arundel County, tiny black mussels are reproducing in big numbers.
“[The reason] is salinity. So years that we have more rain and less salt, we seem to see the mussels,” said Dr. Sally Hornor, an aquatic ecologist.

That gain slowed to 82 billion tons of ice per year between 2003 and 2008.

According to a lawsuit filed this week, when Napolitano arrived he became very aggressive which compelled Diaz’s friend, Mario Manzi, to begin film.

Even though it's been roundly debunked by a half-dozen media outlets and criminologists, many on the right—including Obama's own FBI director—keep pushing the "Ferguson Effect," the idea that increasing scrutiny of police officers is somehow causing them not to do their job and leading to an increase in crime. Despite the meme's popularity, there's only one problem: it's just not true.
"People claim that the police are unable to do their jobs because they're afraid of being caught doing their jobs badly," Noah said. "And this is a big problem, unless you deal in 'facts,' in which case it's not a problem at all."
Noah went on to cite a recent study by the American Psychological Association that says, "it is too soon to blame crime increases in a handful of cities on the 'Ferguson Effect,' especially given that crime has been trending downwards for more than two decades."
Never mind. The Ferguson Effect feels real to right-wing pundits on Fox News who keep bringing it up almost every day. For the fact-based community though, the reality remains.

Supreme Court Justices Fear Loss of Control Over Redistricting Cases
Though the court has never rejected a voting district on the ground that it gave a political party an unconstitutional advantage, it has never ruled out that such a district might exist. On Wednesday, the court seemed inclined to endorse procedures that would at least treat such claims seriously by sending them to special three-judge courts created by a federal law for redistricting cases.
But as the argument drew to a close, several justices voiced a competing concern — the law also allows direct appeals to the Supreme Court from rulings of the three-judge courts, meaning more work and less discretion for the justices.

African immigrants make up a small share of the U.S. immigrant population, but their numbers are growing – roughly doubling every decade since 1970, according to a new Pew Research Center analysis of U.S. Census data.
There were 1.8 million African immigrants living in the U.S. in 2013, up from 881,000 in 2000 and a substantial increase from 1970, when the U.S. was home to only 80,000 foreign-born Africans. They accounted for 4.4% of the immigrant population in 2013, up from 0.8% in 1970.
The growth is evident among recently arrived immigrants. When compared with other major groups who arrived in the U.S. in the past five years, Africans had the fastest growth rate from 2000 to 2013, increasing by 41% during that period. (Africans are also a rapidly growing segment of the black immigrant population in the U.S., increasing by 137% from 2000 to 2013.)

Maryland admits to exposing personal information of hundreds
Data exposed included Social Security and Tax ID numbers.
The mistake was discovered and removed from the web in September, according to a statement from Maryland Department of Information Technology spokesman Michael White. White was unable to say where the information had been published or for how long.
Less than 500 vendors are affected, according to White. A letter to vendors recommends they take precautions to avoid identity theft such as using credit monitoring.

Philadelphia Media Network, parent company of The Inquirer, the Philadelphia Daily News, and Philly.com, plans to lay off 46 members of Newspaper Guild Local 10 in December, 10.5 percent of the membership, the union said Monday.
PMN confirmed that it had sent a memo to the Guild saying that "approximately 46 members would be impacted" as part of a planned consolidation of the three newsrooms announced Friday by publisher and CEO Terrance C.Z. Egger.
Additional cutbacks are expected among management and in areas outside the newsrooms, Egger said Monday.

ONE can of Coke a day can increase the risk of heart failure by 20%
Drinking just over one can of sugary drink a day dramatically increases the risk of heart problems, researchers have warned.
A study of 42,000 middle-aged men found that two 200ml soft drinks each day was enough to increase the chance of heart failure by 23 per cent.
The research included fizzy drinks, sweetened fruit squash and other drinks with added sugar or artificial sweeteners, but did not include natural fruit juice.
The study fuels growing concerns that sugar is contributing to a number of health problems.
The UK Government’s Scientific Advisory Committee on Nutrition warned this summer that adults halve their sugar intake to consume no more than 30g of sugar a day - just seven teaspoons.
That is less than that in single 330ml can of Coca-Cola, which contains 35g.
Experts have previously linked sweetened drinks to changes in blood pressure, diabetes and stroke.

Tiger Woods' ex-caddie: No 'sympathy'
Steve Williams, Tiger Woods' former caddie, has once again spoken candidly about his relationship with the golfer, this time in his autobiography, Out of the Rough.
In particular, he wrote about some of Woods' behavior on the course.
"One thing that really pissed me off was how he would flippantly toss a club in the general direction of the bag, expecting me to go over and pick it up," Williams wrote, per Ewan Murray of the Guardian. "I felt uneasy about bending down to pick up his discarded club. It was like I was his slave. The other thing that disgusted me was his habit of spitting at the hole if he missed a putt."
Williams, who caddied for Woods for 13 years during the golfer's prime years, also wrote about his disappointment in the superstar for his infamous sex scandal. Williams was also angry Woods didn't immediately make it clear that the caddie had nothing to do with covering up his various affairs, leading to Williams "being dragged through the wringer over a scandal I had nothing to do with."
"I didn't have any sympathy for him over what he'd done," he wrote. "I believe you're in charge of your own actions, and I have no sympathy for people who get addicted to drugs or gambling or sex. People make choices in their lives, and he had chosen to do this.
"But I did have sympathy for the way he'd had to suffer in front of the world when others would have been able to sort out their mess in private."

Clinton meets with Trayvon Martin's family
Chicago (CNN)Hillary Clinton met Monday with a collection of parents whose African-American children have died in shootings at a local Chicago cafe, discussing their loss and outlining her criminal justice reform and gun control plans.
The two-hour gathering included the mothers of Trayvon Martin, Jordan Davis, Michael Brown and Tamir Rice. All African-American women who lost their young children in shootings, the group formed a "motherhood" in the wake of their losses.

Enhanced Pedestrian Safety Targeted
The Delaware State Police will take a systematic look at where pedestrians cross the road and will introduce High Visibility Education and Enforcement. Pedestrian safety will encompass education and enforcement initiatives during the month of November. Office of Highway Safety, DelDOT and the Delaware State Police as well as multiple municipal agencies will participate in this pedestrian outreach initiative to educate the public about the pedestrian safety laws.
Troop 2 will be conducting high visibility education and enforcement along US Route 13 from the Route 13/40 split to I-295. This project is part of a pilot program initiated by the International Association of Police Chiefs (IACP) and funded by Office of Highway Safety. The Delaware State Police will conduct two weeks of education and outreach followed by one week of enforcement patrols, citing everyone violating pedestrian safety laws.
Officers will provide pedestrians with literature that includes safe walking tips and a small flashlight to increase pedestrians’ visibility in low-light or dark conditions.
The Delaware State Police urge everyone to look out for all traffic and any pedestrians to help change the most dangerous time of year into a safer time of year. Please help make this pedestrian safety campaign a successful one.
Anytime you are walking, please cross only in crosswalks or at intersections with traffic signals; if walking at night, carry a flashlight or wear reflective clothing; use sidewalks whenever possible; be patient – wait for cars to stop before stepping into the roadway; and finally, do not walk under the influence of drugs or alcohol. When driving, always be on the look-out for walkers and anticipate pedestrians being in the road. Be a smart defensive driver and obey the posted speeds, be watchful, attentive and never drive under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
