Comic George Lopez was booed off stage at a gala for juvenile diabetes in Denver last week, over an anti-Donald Trump routine that fell flat with the crowd.
We’re told the flap began when Trump backer and Liberty Media CEO Greg Maffei donated $250,000 but requested that Lopez cool it with the anti-Trump jokes at the Carousel Ball.
An attendee at the event — where tables sold from $5,000 to $100,000 to benefit the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes — commented on a YouTube video that “George was asked nicely to stop making Trump jokes by a man in front row [Maffei] who just donated $250K.” But “George doesn’t, continues. Gets booed.”
We’re told that Lopez responded to Maffei, “Thank you for changing my opinion on old white men, but it doesn’t change the way I feel about orange men.”

Rush Limbaugh to Harvey Weinstein: Hire Hillary Clinton - 'The CEO of Bimbo Eruptions'
Friday on his nationally syndicated radio show, conservative talker Rush Limbaugh recommended embattled Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein, currently under fire for allegations of sexual harassment, hire 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton as a crisis manager.
According to Limbaugh, Clinton was the CEO of “bimbo eruptions” and was qualified to work as a representative for Weinstein given her prior experiences.

Social Security Means-Testing Looms: "It's Impossible Without A 50% Income Tax Hike"
The projected total US debt will be $30 trillion within 10 years, using the CBO’s own numbers. But the CBO also makes the rosy assumptions that there will be no recessions and that GDP will grow at a 4% nominal rate.
Now, that’s possible; I'm inclined to haircut it a bit.
If you asked me to bet the “over/under” on the debt in 2027, I would bet the over at $35 trillion.
After the next recession the deficit will be $30 trillion within 4–5 years and then grow from there at a rate of anywhere from $1.5 to $2 trillion per year (I covered my team’s calculations in this letter).
Is it any wonder why I’m so concerned about pensions?
Social Security Is Impossible Under This Deficit
Note: That is not the CBO’s projected debt. It does not take into account the off-budget deficit that still ends up having to be borrowed.Last year the deficit was well over $1 trillion—but we were told it was in the neighborhood of $600 billion.
If any normal company tried to use accounting like the US Congress does, the SEC would rightly declare it fraudulent and shut it down immediately.
Here’s a chart from the Treasury’s annual financial report, projecting government receipts and spending:

Colin Kaepernick Reportedly Files Grievance Against NFL Owners For "Collusion"
Despite playing poorly in his last season, having undergone multiple surgeries, and being a public relations time-bomb, Colin Kaepernick is upset that he is still unsigned through six weeks of the 2017 NFL season.
It cannot be his fault, he seems to surmise, and as such, Bleacher Report's Mike Freeman reports that the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback has filed a grievance against the owners for collusion under the latest collective bargaining agreement...
Of course, just like last weekend, we wonder how long this headline will last before it is vehemently denied by Kaepernick's girlfriend.

I am told that @Kaepernick7 has filed a grievance under the CBA for collusion against the owners. If accurate, this is huge.

Vegas Witness Who Identified Multiple Shooters FOUND DEAD— Here’s what we know…
It’s been almost two weeks since the Las Vegas massacre took the lives of 58 concert-goers, and there seems to be more unanswered questions at this point than ever before. The mainstream media as well as the Las Vegas police department have been caught in multiple lies, leading many of us to believe that we have been fed a giant pile of BS up until this point. Now the sole witness who could’ve proven the truth about Las Vegas has mysteriously just been found dead, as a massive scandal rips across social media today.
It’s amazing how many lies the mainstream media and authorities have already been caught in. The timeline has been debunked by several sources, including eye-witnesses, hotel staff, and even the owners of the hotel itself, but the mainstream media keeps pushing their false narrative of events. Rumors continue to swirl that the shooter was an arms’ dealer in an ISIS gun-running scheme gone wrong, which is why details are being buried in order to protect the FBI from embarrassment.

Hatchet throwing a new pastime
What better, safer way to have fun than drink beer and throw a hatchet?
This is now a thing in America, a new pastime, and it's spreading.
On a busy Friday night at Stumpy's Hatchet House in New Jersey, it sounds like this: the thud of the blade sticking into a wooden target, people cheering a good toss, and a bell ringing out when somebody scores a bull's eye.
Its four founders say this place, which opened 18 months ago, is the first of its kind in the US, although Canada is generally considered the cradle of competitive hatchet-hurling.
Such spots are now found in Chicago, Washington, Nashville and Denver, among other US cities.
Stumpy's owners are talking about opening another elsewhere in New Jersey and have even started offering franchise arrangements. They hope to have a network of 15 within a year.
"This is the next bowling," said Kelly Josberger..

One General's Vision: Replacing the Army Physical Fitness Test
The general overseeing fitness for the U.S. Army hopes to see the proposed Army Combat Readiness Test approved next spring and, in time, become the service's standard physical fitness test of record that all soldiers must pass.
The service is in the middle of the Army Combat Readiness Test, or ACRT, pilot, exposing soldiers to the six-event fitness test designed to better prepare them for the rigors of combat than the current three-event Army Physical Fitness Test, or APFT.
The ACRT was developed, at the request of Army Chief of Staff Gen. Mark Milley, to better prepare soldiers for the physical challenges of the service's Warrior Tasks and Battle Drills -- the list of key skills all soldiers are taught to survive in combat.

Cheap Labor, Open Borders Swamp Embraces Trump's DHS Pick: 'Experience Being Valued over Outsiders'
The Washington, D.C. political establishment – which supports a constant inflow of cheap, foreign workers to take American blue-collar jobs – and open border policies, is heaping praise on President Trump’s pick to lead the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Kirstjen Nielsen.
Nielsen, a donor to Republican establishment darling Jeb Bush and former DHS official under President George W. Bush, is being praised by pro-open borders Bush allies with whom she’s previously worked.
In the Washington Post, former Bush official and lobbyist Stewart Verdery welcomed Trump’s choice to pick Nielsen to run DHS because she was not an outsider.
“Nielsen’s nomination is a strong signal of competence and experience being valued by the White House over ideologues and outsiders,” Verdery told the Washington Post. “The homeland mission requires an unusual, diverse set of skills, and she has expertise in almost all of them.”
In 2014, Verdery urged House and Senate Republicans to give in to amnesty for the 12 to 30 million illegal aliens living in the U.S., writing for CNN how the GOP needed to support the expansion of foreign work visa programs, where cheaper foreigners are brought to the U.S. to take American jobs.

German City Bans Migrants From Moving In
A German city will no longer allow refugees to settle there as it feels overwhelmed with the “exceptionally high immigration” in recent years.
Salzgitter in the state of Lower Saxony is home to 106,000 people and a few thousand migrants. The city was granted permission to ban refugees from settling there Thursday by the state’s interior ministry. Authorities cited “reasons of integration” in its decision.
“This is an exceptional measure aimed at preventing the social and societal exclusion of immigrant refugees,” the decree reads, according to The Local.
The town’s mayor said 5,800 migrants live in the community, with a majority arriving over the past year.

Women should dye hair max six times a year, claims surgeon
Women should dye their hair no more than six times a year and use natural ingredients to reduce the risk of cancer, a breast surgeon has claimed.
Professor Kefah Mokbel, of the Princess Grace Hospital in central London, found that women who colour their hair are 14 per cent more likely to suffer breast cancer.
He said women should 'reduce exposure' to synthetic dyes by using ingredients such as henna, rose hip, and beetroot instead.
Professor Mokbel's study concluded: 'Although further work is required to confirm our results, our findings suggest that exposure to hair dyes may contribute to breast cancer risk.'
He wrote on Twitter: 'Women are advised to reduce exposure to synthetic hair dyes to two to six times per year and undergo regular breast screening from the age of 40.

German Towns Filled With Refugees Ask, ‘Who Is Integrating Whom?’
SALZGITTER, Germany—Late this summer, Nadine Langer took her six-year old to her first day at school. The girl was one of two German children in her class, she said, amid 20, mostly Syrian, refugees.
“I am not against foreigners,” said Ms. Langer, 41. “But there is a point where we have to wonder who is integrating whom.”
Germany’s 2015 refugee crisis has largely disappeared from the headlines. But in this and other midsize towns, it is continuing to unfold, putting communities under stress, pressuring local coffers and feeding concerns about safety, jobs and the quality of education.
Some 140,000 asylum seekers have entered Germany so far this year—a sharp drop from the 1.2 million who arrived in the past two years. But in places such as Salzgitter there is a sense that the government, having housed and fed the newcomers, is failing in the longer-term effort to integrate them into German society.
This unease, pollsters say, boosted the anti-immigration Alternative for Germany at last month’s election, making it the first far-right party to enter parliament in half a century.

'The Alligators Are Really Unhappy'
Breaking down the state of politics in Washington, D.C. – "turmoil and confusion" under President Donald Trump's leadership – former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said "draining the swamp" has led to the "alligators" being "pretty mad."
"The simplest way to think of it is: Donald Trump really is draining the swamp, and the alligators are really unhappy," Gingrich told "The Cats Roundtable" of 970 AM-N.Y.
Gingrich did admit change can be "frustrating" and "sometimes people get a little scared," especially the other side of the aisle, which stands to lose ground in Washington.
"If you think about it for a second, this guy is actually doing what he said he would do: We're getting conservative judges nominated; we are getting regulations rolled back; we're getting a real fight for a tax cut; we're getting a much more aggressive pro-American trade policy, and pro-American farm policy," Gringrich told host John Catsimatidis.
"The other side sees this as the end of their way of life. He is an enormous threat to them."

Weinstein Sex Scandal May Hurt Michael Moore And Quentin Tarantino
The fate of several films by some of the Hollywood’s most radical movie producers is in doubt following the Harvey Weinstein sex scandal, as funds and talent leave his Weinstein Company.
Films by left-wing documentary producer Michael Moore and bloody movie director Quentin Tarantino are now in jeopardy, according to a number of Hollywood outlets. Talent agencies and actors are fleeing the Weinstein Company along with funds, and the company finances are now “dire” as it braces for a flood of lawsuits, Deadline/Hollywood reports.
Moore had been planning to release his anti-Donald Trump documentary “Fahrenheit 11/9” next month. The title is a takeoff of Moore’s 2004 blockbuster anti-Bush film called “Fahrenheit 9/11.” That movie slammed former President George W. Bush and his war against terrorism. “Fahrenheit 11/9” relates to Nov. 9, the day after the country elected Donald Trump president.

George Soros Funded A Study Of White Working-Class Voters Who Support Trump. Here’s What He Found
A recently-released research study sheds light on the values of white working-class voters in the United States and the reasons these voters strongly supported Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election.
Three researchers from three different universities authored the study, titled “White Working-Class Views on Belonging, Change, Identity and Immigration.”
Open Society Foundations, a network of political organizations controlled by left-wing billionaire George Soros, funded the study.
The trio of researchers conducted the study by visiting four places between August 2016 and March 2017: Birmingham, Alabama; Dayton, Ohio; Tacoma, Washington; Phoenix, Arizona; and — for some reason — the New York City borough of Brooklyn.
The researchers spoke candidly with over 400 people who identify as members of the white working class.

Mike Rowe: It's Time To Make Hard Work Cool Again
Work was a supporting pillar in my family dynamic growing up, instilling a foundation that would ultimately propel me to achieve all of my career and financial goals I had set for my 25 year benchmark. Those goals are personal and private, but I am ecstatic that with just about five months to spare, I’ve exceeded them all.
That foundation was built by years of watching and learning from my father, Joseph Merse, who has taught – and continues to teach me – what it means to work hard and provide for a family.
Americans like my father that take pride in their work propelled Mike Rowe to become “the dirtiest man on TV” with his notorious show Dirty Jobs and one of the leading American men tackling the issues related to the widening skills gap through his foundation, mikeroweWORKS Foundation, which awards scholarships to students pursuing a career in the skilled trades.

Powerful new study confirms high-fat diet is best
It’s hard to imagine that manufacturers of processed foods continue to think it’s a good idea to put the term “low-fat” on their labels to enhance sales. Maybe it is a good idea from a sales perspective because so many people still buy into the notion that a low fat diet is a good idea. But that is absolutely in direct contradiction with current science.
In a new study just published in the highly regarded journal Lancet, researchers from multiple highly-regarded institutions around the world studied an incredibly large number of individuals ages 35 to 70 year (135,335), from 18 countries, over an average of 7.4 years. They carried out very specific assessments of the foods that these individuals ate and evaluated their food choices in terms of macro-nutrient composition (carbohydrates, protein, and fat), and specifically broke the fat consumption down to evaluate saturated fat, monounsaturated fat, and polyunsaturated fats. Further, they compared the diets to the risk of various endpoints including death, major cardiovascular event, stroke, and heart failure.
What the researchers discovered in this extensive study was really quite compelling..

The conviction of Mr. Rahimi, 29, on Monday marked the end of a prosecution of what was, arguably, the largest-scale terrorist act in New York since Sept. 11. |

Shrinks take to streets to demand ‘narcissistic’ Trump’s ouster
They’re not nuts about Trump.
Some 125 psychologists and other mental health professionals marched along lower Broadway Saturday to demand that President Trump be thrown out of office, based on a constitutional clause allowing presidents to be ousted when their cabinets decide they are ” unable to discharge the powers and duties” of their job.
“We can sense the power of Trump’s underlying fear that he is worthless and weak by how intensely he resists and retaliated against any criticism,” said Harry Segal, a Cornell University psychologist.
“No matter how minor, he can’t let anything go.”
Michelle Golland, also a clinical psychologist, agreed.
“We’re actually suffering from his narcissistic personality,” she said. “He has no empathy. You can feel it, the way he spoke about the San Juan mayor… She has PTSD and our president mistreats her. She is re-victimized. That is a narcissist.”

Ex-Green Beret Nate Boyer writes open letter to Trump, Kaepernick, NFL, 'every single American'
Boyer, who played briefly with the Seahawks, previously convinced Kaepernick to kneel instead of sit for the anthem
Nate Boyer, a former U.S. Army Green Beret who spent the 2015 preseason as a long snapper for the Seahawks, last year convinced Colin Kaepernick to kneel instead of sit for the national anthem.
More than a year later, Boyer has written an open letter, as told to ESPN.com's Nick Wagoner, to President Donald Trump, who has been outspoken on the issue of players "disrespecting the flag"; Kaepernick, who has been a free agent since the spring; a league that is trying to balance the players' right to peacefully protest while not alienating fans; and to a nation divided.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." -- Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Dear Every Single American,
Every. Single. American. Including President Trump, Colin Kaepernick, and my brothers in arms overseas who are wondering, "what in the hell is going on back there?" I'm sitting in the same chair, in the same apartment that I sat in almost a year ago when I wrote an open letter to Colin Kaepernick. I was hurt when I saw him sitting on the bench during the national anthem, but I'm much more hurt now. Not by him, not by where we're at now with the protests, but by us.
Simply put, it seems like we just hate each other; and that is far more painful to me than any protest, or demonstration, or rally, or tweet. We're told to pick a side, there's a line drawn in the sand "are you with us or against us?" It's just not who we are, or at least who we're supposed to be; we're supposed to be better than that, we're Americans.
This doesn't even seem to be about right or wrong, but more about right or left.

Hillary Goes To College: Clinton In Talks To Accept Columbia Professorship
Like the old joke goes: Those who can’t, teach.
And after losing an election to the most controversial and unpopular candidate in American history, Hillary Clinton is going back to school.
The New York Post is reporting, citing sources close to the Clinton camp, that the former Secretary of State is in talks to accept a professorship at Columbia University in Morningside Heights.
“She’s been in discussions about a professorship, but nothing has been locked down,” a friend of the ex-secretary of state said Thursday.
As the Post reports, the Ivy League university in upper Manhattan has been a friendly landing pad for other Democrats who have lost elections. Al Gore became a professor at Columbia’s Graduate School of Journalism a year after losing the 2000 presidential election to George W. Bush. And the school hired former mayor David Dinkins after he lost his re-election bid to Rudy Giuliani in 1993.
The former mayor told the Post that he’d be happy to see Clinton in Morningside Heights.
Columbia is familiar territory for the Clintons. The Clinton Foundation once had an office in Harlem. Her professorship would reportedly involve leading seminars about issues she is passionate about. No word yet on whether these will include a thorough deconstruction of the forces that cost her the 2016 election.

Joy Villa: 'Straight Up Prostitution Is How Hollywood Is Run These Days'
“The Hollywood swamp is starting to crumble”
In a segment with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson, singer and avid Trump supporter Joy Villa described her firsthand encounters with entertainment industry scumbags who prey on vulnerable young women and men.
Sexual misconduct in Hollywood is “absolutely prominent,” according to Villa who said, “The reason it was kept secret so long is because it’s normal.”
“It’s very common for high level execs to prey on young artists… The biggest shock of this is that honestly, people in the entertainment industry are not shocked at this,” she continued.
Villa shared a personal experience where the CEO of a Burbank, California talent agency directly asked for sexual favors in exchange for fame and fortune.
Referring to the encounter, she said, “It was straight up prostitution and that’s really how Hollywood is run these days and it has been for a long time.”

Marshall’s Punter Just Punted A Ball From His Own End Zone To The Opposite 1-Yard Line
If you were wondering what the seventh-longest punt in college football history looked like, here you go.
In the first quarter of Marshall’s game against Old Dominion, Herd punter Kaare Vedvik boomed off a 92-yard kick, from well inside his own end zone, to the opposite end zone.
Granted, the 30 yards of roll helped, but a punt traveling 75 yards through the air regardless is an insane feat.
The longest previous punt before Vedvik’s was in 1972, a whopping 46 years ago.

Out-of-touch kneeling NFL players are starting to ruin emotional attachment to football
Natural and manmade tragedies in Houston, Florida, Puerto Rico, and Las Vegas have diverted public attention from NFL protests. Indeed, the magnitude of human suffering associated with historic storms and the worst mass shooting in U.S. history have again reminded us of what really counts in life.
But the controversy lives. Some players continue to kneel. Many fans continue to boo. Advertisers continue to fret. The NFL continues to search for compromise. And all "sides" continue to talk past one another, a sure-fire formula for continuing ill feelings.
Colin Kaepernick's original decision to take a knee was a direct response to police shootings of African-Americans. We know this because Kaepernick said so. Immediately thereafter and continuing to this very day, however, the police indictment has been enlarged to include a more general critique of the criminal justice system's treatment of African-Americans. We know this because many of the kneeling players have said so.

Madaleno references Hogan’s bout with cancer, attacks him over paid sick leave veto
At Saturday’s United for Maryland gubernatorial forum, the six Democratic candidates were posed with a question about Republican Gov. Larry Hogan:
“What has Gov. Hogan done for which you most disagree, and if elected, what would you do differently or how would you correct it?”
State Sen. Rich Madaleno, who answered the question last in the candidate rotation, blasted Gov. Hogan for not signing a paid sick leave bill this past legislative session.
“First, from a policy perspective, the one thing that I find most disappointing is that for many people in the state, Larry Hogan earned their respect and admiration for how he handled his own bout with cancer,” Madaleno said.
Listening closely to the video, the audience can be heard agreeing with Madaleno’s sentiments.
“He did it in a very admiral way. And yet this past year, when we passed a bill to give people the opportunity to earn five days of leave – to care for themselves or their families – he vetoed that.”
Madaleno went on,
“Let me tell you, he had unlimited sick leave; he had people bringing his work to him while he lived in public housing.”

UCLA Professor: Affirmative Action Inflicts ‘Significant Harm’ on Minority Students
Admissions quotas for minority students are not only hurting higher education, they are hurting the students themselves, says Richard Sander, a professor in the UCLA law school.
Data show that when students with lower academic qualifications than their peers are accepted into more challenging universities, they suffer academically as a result, Sander said Wednesday evening before an assembly of the Bruin Republicans at UCLA.
Affirmative action creates what Sander calls “mismatch,” whereby preferred students find themselves out of their league and underperform as a result.
Sander told the group that “students will learn less when they are surrounded by students who had scores 10 points higher than them than if they were surrounded by students who had similar scores.” In other words, less academically qualified students perform better when surrounded by students of their own caliber than when placed among students with superior abilities.
This is not a question only of race, Sander insisted, but occurs any time that a student is given preferential treatment based on anything other than academic ability, be it legacy status, athletic prowess, or any other non-academic qualification.
Nonetheless, Sander said he believes his theory explains why so many minority students, particularly African-American and Latino students, drop out of school.

The NFL is attacking an America that has treated it very well. Time to end the tax breaks
While we glorify football players for their accomplishments on the field, they are not heroes. I recently visited with a real hero – a young Army sergeant from my congressional district who still gets body tremors when he stands. Bombs bursting in the air exploded over his unit in Afghanistan, leaving shards of metal stuck in his skull.
When I entered his room at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, he proudly stood at full attention, brimming with nervous energy. I had come to thank him on behalf of a grateful nation, and the sergeant was as respectful as he was inspiring in his patriotism. Although he winced with pain, he would not take the meeting lying down.
We did not discuss his injury or diagnosis. He told me how proud he was of his wife, a teacher at the local high school. And how willing he was to go back to the fight – wherever that star-spangled banner yet waves.
The teacher and the sergeant are the regular folks who make up my North Florida district, which boasts of more military bases than Starbucks, and more veterans than pelicans. These are the folks who do not understand why NFL players would disrespect our anthem or our flag or why the NFL Commissioner's office has embraced this unpatriotic conduct.
Taxpayers pay over 70 percent of the cost of stadiums. Our citizens pay more and more for tickets, and valuations of professional sports franchises have skyrocketed. Player compensation keeps growing. But the NFL Commissioner’s office can choose at any point to stop paying taxes altogether.

Trump's EO Injects Competition Into ObamaCare
On Thursday, President Donald Trump bypassed a weak-kneed Republican Congress and began rolling back ObamaCare with an executive order that injects free market measures into the law. As he signed the order, Trump said, “So this is promoting health care, choice and competition all across the United States. This is going to be something that millions and millions of people will be signing up for and they’re going to be very happy. This will be great health care.” Trump declared that this was the first step in “providing millions of Americans with ObamaCare relief.”
So what does Trump’s executive order accomplish? Primarily, it directs the secretary of labor to consider expanding access to Association Health Plans. This would allow employers the freedom to form groups which offer coverage across state lines. “Insurance companies will be fighting to get every single person signed up,” Trump stated, adding, “And you will hopefully be negotiating, negotiating, negotiating. And you’ll get such low prices for such great care.”
Another impact of this order would be that those “association health plans” could be immune from some state and federal insurance requirements. At the same time employers would not be free to exclude employees from their plans based on preexisting conditions, nor charge more to those employees with long-term health issues.

VACCINATIONS: To Be or Not to Be
Commentary by Ralph Campbell, MD
Whether or not to vaccinate their children is a big question for parents to ponder. Instead of encompassing a one-size-fits-all attitude, there needs to be the realization of individuality on both sides of the needle---the vaccine itself and the target patient. Some vaccines are ineffective, and may in fact be harmful. [1-4] In my experience as a pediatrician, no drug or vaccine can be effective 100% of the time for 100% of children.
Promotion for profit
Pharmaceutical companies, the vaccine producers, seem not so much altruistic as profit-oriented. They have mastered the arts of promotion and obfuscation. On televised sports events, viewers are hit with beer ads and drugs for erectile dysfunction. On the evening news, the targets are the old folks already on a myriad of medications (the average for women over 70 years of age is five medications daily). And of course several "life saving" vaccinations are described that you supposedly need to "talk to your doctor" about.
The same advertising format is used for both medicines and vaccinations: There is an opening brief statement of what the medicine or vaccine is for. Both the generic and the trade names are catchy and have a very "scientific" aura to them, meant to encourage confidence. But hold on: while recipients are dancing with joy and playing with their loving dog, turn up your set and listen to all those side effects.
Pneumonia
A typical example is "Get your pneumonia shot" with a vaccine containing antigens from 23 strains of pneumococcus bacterium. The implication of the ad is that this bad bug is lurking around the corner ready to pounce, when in truth, most pneumonia in adults is viral, for which there is no vaccine or effective antibiotic. Another caveat is the fact that there are numerous strains of the pneumococcus, making it difficult to decide which ones to incorporate in the vaccine. I don't know who called them to task about this deception, but lately they have stated that the vaccine is for bacterial pneumonia, and still later, specifically pneumococcal pneumonia, plus a very small print disclaimer stating that not all strains are incorporated in the vaccine.

Experts Warn Congress: North Korean EMP Would Kill '90% of Americans' — Consider Nuke First Strike
Two electromagnetic pulse (EMP) experts warned Congress on Thursday that North Korea is capable of executing an EMP attack over the United States which would send the U.S. back to the stone age and would lead to the deaths of 90% of all Americans within one year.
Chairman Dr. William R. Graham and Chief of Staff Dr. Peter Vincent Pry of the Commission to Assess the Threat to the United States from Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) Attack told the Committee on Homeland Security that the U.S. is now facing a “doomsday scenario” as U.S. intelligence under the Obama administration grossly underestimated the capabilities of North Korea.

Could Big Sugar become the next Big Tobacco?
In 1994, CEOs of major tobacco companies were summoned to Congress and subjected to questioning about the health perils of cigarettes. They testified that they didn’t believe that cigarettes were addictive. The execs averred under oath that cigarettes “may” cause lung cancer, heart disease and other health problems, but claimed that “the evidence is not conclusive.”
This notwithstanding the mounds of scientific studies confirming cigarettes’ health effects, and R.J. Reynolds’ own animal testing conducted in the 80s that demonstrated tobacco was addictive.
The story is admirably recounted in the 1999 thriller “The Insider” in which Russel Crowe plays a tobacco industry whistleblower. The film documents the way cigarette companies sandbagged evidence that their products were agents of death and disease. At times, the character played by Crowe feared for his life.
A similar pattern is emerging with Big Sugar. The stage is set for a reckoning such as befell Big Tobacco. Regulators and lawyers are already sharpening their claws for an onslaught on sugar producers who knowingly foisted a dangerous and addictive product on the unsuspecting U.S. public.
The pieces are falling into place:
1) ADDICTION.

Clinton Foundation to keep Harvey Weinstein's $250,000 donation
The Clinton Foundation will not return as much as $250,000 in donations from disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein following the accusations of sexual harassment and rape.
The foundation said Sunday that donations, ranging from $100,000 to $250,000, have already been spent on projects, The Daily Mail reported.
The move to keep the money was expected following tweets from the foundation’s spokesman Craig Minassian.
“Suggesting @ClintonFdn return funds from our 330,000+ donors ignores the fact that donations have been used to help people across the world,” Minassian wrote on Twitter.

They’re All In It Together – Weinstein Paid for Bill Clinton’s Legal Fees During His Sex Abuse Scanda
When Bill Clinton was facing his most public sex scandal, Harvey Weinstein came to his aid with donations to Clinton’s legal fund
When Bill Clinton was at the height of the Monica Lewinsky sex scandal, Hollywood was by his side, offering donations for his legal fees, and one significant donor was a man who is now going through his own sex scandal—Harvey Weinstein.
More than 20 women have publicly accused Weinstein of sexual harassment, sexual assault or rape. After the New York Times and the New Yorker published in-depth stories detailing the testimonies of women who have been abused by Weinstein—and in many cases, paid off with airtight non-disclosure agreements—the stories have continued to come to light.

'Fake Republicans' Keeping Trump From Greatness
President Donald Trump could be "the greatest president since Abraham Lincoln" if "several" GOP Senate members "get out of the way and honor the values they ran on," Liberty University president Jerry Falwell Jr. said Sunday.
In an interview on "Fox & Friends Weekend," Falwell explained why he coined the phrase "Fake Republicans."
"I think there's several Republicans in the Senate who pretended to be conservative Republicans . . . and they really don't share the same values," he said.
"And I think if they will get out of the way and honor the values that they ran on, keep the promises that they made to their constituencies when they ran, I think Donald Trump has the potential to be the greatest president since Abraham Lincoln."

Jeff Sessions is sending a federal hate crimes lawyer to help prosecute the murder of a transgender teen in Iowa
The Justice Department has dispatched an experienced federal hate crimes lawyer to Iowa to help prosecute a man charged with murdering a transgender high school student last year, a move that officials said was personally initiated by Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
In taking the step, Mr. Sessions, a staunch conservative, is sending a signal that he has made a priority of fighting violence against transgender people individually, even as he has rolled back legal protections for them collectively.
