Special counsel Robert Mueller is investigating foreign donations to President Donald Trump’s inaugural committee, according to a new report.
Mueller’s investigators have questioned several witnesses about millions of dollars in contributions from donors with links to Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Russia, according to ABC News.
One of the people interviewed is Thomas Barrack, a longtime Trump friend who handled financing for the president’s inaugural committee.

Two teens have been struck and killed by an Amtrak train while taking a popular 'shortcut' along the tracks.
Presley Trent, 13, and Samuel Rivas, 18, were killed on Wednesday afternoon in Chester, Virginia, by a train traveling from Georgia to New York.
The accident occurred just before 5pm and no one on the train suffered injuries.
Locals said they see people walking on the tracks all of the time as it's a popular shortcut but have never heard of a tragedy like this one.

An Indiana family’s vacation to Florida reportedly left a mom with a deadly flesh-eating bacteria.
Carol Martin, 50, died Saturday, nearly two months after returning from Clearwater, Fla., with an infection known as necrotizing fasciitis, news station WRTV reported.
Martin’s family said they believe the virus may have been from a hot tub at the local Days Inn hotel.
“My thing is nobody else [in the family] got it, the flesh-eating bacteria,” her husband, Richard, toldnews station WFLA. “No one else got it but she was the only one who got in the hot tub.”
It wasn’t until they were back in Indianapolis that the mom noticed a nickel-size sore on her buttocks, according to the news station.

Jury awards $10m to Philadelphia man for wrongful arrest after he was locked up for three YEARS
A Philadelphia man locked up for three years based on a police officer's false testimony has been awarded $10 million.
The jury's verdict Thursday was handed down in the case of Khanefah Boozer, 33, who languished in jail on $500,000 bail while he awaited trial for allegedly firing a gun at Officer Ryan Waltman in 2011.
The Philadelphia native was with with friends in January 2011 on Abbotsford Road in Germantown.

The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) told the Washington Free Beacon its recent decision to expel Dick's Sporting Goods was based on the company's decision to lobby for new gun-control legislation.
"They went beyond simply making decisions for their own company and are trying to impose their view and their decisions on other companies in the industry by hiring a lobbyist to lobby for gun control," Larry Keane, NSSF senior vice president and general counsel, told the Free Beacon. "The CEO of Dick's, which owns Field and Stream, is on the record as saying he wants to see a ban on modern sporting rifles, he wants to see restrictions on magazines, and also wants to see an unconstitutional restriction on the ability of young adults to purchase any firearm."
Keane said that while NSSF did not agree with Dick's decision to remove certain rifles and ammunition magazines from their shelves, the decision was "not because of their internal decision about what products they would and wouldn't sell."
"We respect the right of companies to make their own decisions," he said.

An Indiana woman already imprisoned for killing and dismembering her lover and strangling her husband to death may be responsible for nine other murders, as well as a suspected case of cannibalism.
Kelly M. Cochran, 35, was sentenced to 65 years last month in the February 20, 2016, death of her husband, 37-year-old Jason Cochran, at their Hobart, Indiana, home.

Video shows a Florida courtroom erupting in violence after four accused killers were found guilty.
The wild melee Friday in Ocala involved three of the defendants and court security officers who used stun guns to restore order.
Defense attorney Daniel Hernandez is seen being pummeled by his client, Troy Davis.
“I got about five punches to the back and the side of my head, forehead. I got a few bumps and bruises, some scratches,” Hernandez told Fox 35 Orlando.

Baltimore tagged the psychological level of 100 homicides for the year with the fatal stabbing of a 74-year-old man and the deadly shooting of a 16-year boy in West Baltimore Tuesday, “marking the second-fastest pace of killings in the city in a decade,” said The Baltimore Sun.
While homicides in Baltimore tend to be a seasonal phenomenon, the wave of killings climbed above trend in Aprill following a period of warmer temperatures. In all of 1Q, homicides were below the average, due to frigid arctic conditions that blasted the Northeastern United States.
In 2017, the city saw its 100th homicide on April 24. As The Baltimore Sun notes, the city had not experienced 100 murders this early in the killing season since 2007, when it occurred on May 7. The total number of killings this year remains somewhat below this time last year, which, by the way, was the deadliest year ever to be recorded in the city’s history, on a per capita basis, with 342 murders. In 2015/2016, which saw the second- and third-most homicides per capita in city history, there were not 100 murders until the end of May. Veterans ask court to reinstate lawsuits over burn pits in Iraq, Afghanistan
RICHMOND, Va. — Veterans and their families asked a federal appeals court Wednesday to reinstate dozens of lawsuits alleging that a government contractor caused health problems by using burn pits during the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
More than 60 lawsuits allege that KBR Inc. — a former Halliburton subsidiary — dumped tires, batteries, medical waste and other materials into open burn pits, creating harmful smoke that caused gastrointestinal illnesses, neurological problems, respiratory problems, cancers and other health issues in more than 800 service members.
The lawsuits, which were filed in multiple districts around the country and then consolidated, also alleged that at least 12 service members died from illnesses caused by the burn pits.
Last year, a judge in Maryland dismissed the lawsuits, finding that the U.S. military made all of the key decisions and had control over KBR’s use and operation of burn pits. The lower court found that analyzing military decision-making during war is a political question not appropriate for judicial review.

A new Kansas law makes it a crime for police to have sex with people they pull over for traffic violations or detain in criminal investigations.

New York Democrat Linda Rosenthal introduced legislation to ban shooting sports from New York schools Friday, claiming the sports “spread gun culture.”
If the legislation is passed, high school shooting teams, including air rifle and even archery clubs, would be disbanded, Time magazine reported on Thursday. These programs can lead to violence, Rosenthal claimed, citing the Parkland shooter’s involvement in the Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) program before executing his mass killing.
“Schools should not be supporting the spread of gun culture in society,” Rosenthal told reporters. “If parents want their children to have shooting instruction, there are opportunities that have nothing to do with the school.”

Federal investigators raided Busch’s Country Corner in Cincinnati on Thursday after obtaining a search warrant to collect security camera recordings, financial records, and electronic communications as evidence of potential fraud, WCPO reported.
Federal documents state that store owners Michael and Amanda Busch trafficked $3.5 million in Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits and traded them for cash beginning in January 2010, and carried out the SNAP fraud scheme for the next eight years.

Grassley Demands Sit-Down With Mystery FBI Agent To Discuss Flynn "302" Forms
- Last week, an unredacted House Intel Committee report revealed that former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe told Congressional investigators that the FBI had virtually no case against former National Security Advisor Mike Flynn, and "The two people who interviewed [Flynn] didn't think he was lying[.]"
- "[N]ot [a] great beginning of a false statement case." McCabe told the Committee.
- The same House Intel report revealed that James Comey contradicted himself in a Fox News interview when he denied telling lawmakers those agents thought Flynn was telling the truth, when in fact he did.
- There is an unconfirmed rumor that McCabe instructed agents to alter their "302" forms from the Flynn interview, effectively changing their written accounts.
- Now, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) says Comey also told them the FBI thought Flynn was telling the truth - only to say the opposite on Fox.
- Grassley is now zeroing in on the Flynn interview - and has demanded the "302" forms, as well as a sit-down with Special Agent Joe Pientka - who Grassley revealed as the second FBI agent in the Flynn interview aside from Peter Strzok.

'Superman' star Margot Kidder dead at 69
An obituary for the actress said she died on Sunday at her home in Livingston, Mont. A cause of death is currently unknown.
Kidder starred opposite Christopher Reeve in "Superman" and three sequels. She continued to act in many movies and TV shows most recently starring in the 2017 film "The Neighborhood." According to IMDB, she has roles in two upcoming films that are in pre-production.

Twitter’s right side piled on, with The Federalist Co-Founder Sean Davis noting how Acosta was “running campaign ads for Trump.” Acosta apparently failed to understand how getting rid of Obama programs was a feature, not a bug, of the Trump presidency.
President Trump added to his list of achievements with a huge win in North Korea, another against ISIS and a particularly enjoyable one as a top opponent’s entire career melted down in the space of minutes.
The president’s latest winning streak was kicked into high gear at the intersection of two stories the media covered poorly this past week. They involved two of the three members of President George W. Bush’s famous “Axis of Evil” – Iran and North Korea.

Minnesota Democrats wage war on God, faith and American history
A bill in the Minnesota Senate that would allow schools in the state to voluntarily display the national motto “In God We Trust” has state Democrats spiraling into fits of outrage, because God offends them.
By waging war on God, they are showing contempt for people of faith and disregard for the history of our country.
On the floor of the Minnesota Senate, Democratic Sen. Scott Dibble suggested using “Allah” in place of “God” – as in “In Allah We Trust.” Dibble wondered how the bill’s sponsor, Republican Sen. Dan Hall, would react, since the words “God” and “Allah” (an Arabic word) mean the same thing.
Here’s a little history lesson for Dibble.
“In God We Trust” was recognized as our nation’s motto more than 200 years ago when Francis Scott Key penned it in “The Star Spangled Banner” as he watched the Battle of Fort McHenry during the War of 1812. He wrote: “And this be our motto – ‘In God is our trust.’

Federal Judge Releases Illegal Alien Who Rammed Car into Daycare Center
A federal judge released an illegal alien who has now disappeared after being taken into custody for allegedly ramming a car into a daycare center, causing serious injuries to a teacher.
Juana Loa-Nunez was arrested on May 7 after she allegedly crashed her car into an Indiana church daycare center and then fled the scene, WTHR Channel 13 reported.
One teacher, Jessica Parks, was hit during the accident and suffered a broken leg and other injuries.
Loa-Nunez is reportedly an illegal alien who has no driver’s license. She was arrested by the Marion County Sheriff’s Department, but by Friday, authorities released the suspect from jail without notifying U.S. immigration officials. The suspect has since disappeared, authorities said.
But Marion County sheriffs deflected the criticism by saying a federal judge ordered them to release the suspect.
“Judge Sarah Evans Barker has ruled that ICE must provide a criminal warrant or a criminal probable cause affidavit for the County to detain undocumented individuals. ICE failed to provide such documentation, despite receiving timely notice. Thus, ICE allowed this individual to go free,” the sheriff’s department retorted in a release of its own.
The sheriff’s department added that immigration is a federal matter and not an Indiana law enforcement issue and noted that if ICE has a problem, it should take it up with Judge Barker, a Ronald Reagan appointee who has been on the bench since 1984.

How do civil wars happen?
Two or more sides disagree on who runs the country. And they can’t settle the question through elections because they don’t even agree that elections are how you decide who’s in charge.
That’s the basic issue here. Who decides who runs the country?
When you disagree with, or even hate each other but accept the election results, you have a country. When you stop accepting election results, you have a countdown to a civil war.
The Mueller investigation is about removing President Trump from office and overturning the results of an election. We all know that. But it’s not the first time they’ve done this. The first time a Republican president was elected this century, they said he didn’t really win. The Supreme Court gave him the election. There’s a pattern here.
What do sure odds of the Democrats rejecting the next Republican president really mean? It means they don’t accept the results of any election that they don’t win. It means they don’t believe that transfers of power in this country are determined by elections. That’s a civil war.
There’s no shooting. At least not unless you count the attempt to kill a bunch of Republicans at a charity baseball game practice. But the Democrats have rejected our system of government.
This isn’t dissent. It’s not disagreement. You can hate the other party. You can think they’re the worst thing that ever happened to the country. But then you work harder to win the next election.
When you consistently reject the results of elections that you don’t win, what you want is a dictatorship. Your very own dictatorship.
The only legitimate exercise of power in this country, according to Democrats, is their own. Whenever Republicans exercise power, it’s inherently illegitimate. The Democrats lost Congress They lost the White House. So what did they do? They began trying to run the country through Federal judges and bureaucrats. Every time that a Federal judge issues an order saying that the President of the United States can’t scratch his own back without his say so, that’s the civil war.

Our system of government is based on the constitution, but that’s not the system that runs this country. The Democrat's system is that any part of government that it runs gets total and unlimited power over the country.
If the Democrats are in the White House, then the president can do anything. And I mean anything. He can have his own amnesty for illegal aliens. He can fine you for not having health insurance His power is unlimited. He’s a dictator. (This was a passed law.)
But when Republicans get into the White House, suddenly the President can’t do anything. He isn’t even allowed to undo the illegal alien amnesty that his predecessor illegally invented. A Democrat in the White House has “discretion” to completely decide every aspect of immigration policy. A Republican doesn’t even have the “discretion” to reverse him. That’s how the game is played. That’s how our country is run. Sad but true, although the left hasn’t yet won that particular fight.
When a Democrat is in the White House, states aren’t even allowed to enforce immigration law. But when a Republican is in the White House, states can create their own immigration laws. Under Obama, a state wasn’t allowed to go to the bathroom without asking permission. But under Trump, Jerry Brown can go around saying that California is an independent republic and sign treaties with other countries. (Have not heard the treaties, but may be true.)
The Constitution has something to say about that.
Whether it’s Federal or State, Executive, Legislative or Judiciary, the left moves power around to run the country. If it controls an institution, then that institution is suddenly the supreme power in the land. This is a moving dictatorship.
Donald Trump has caused the Shadow Government to come out of hiding: Professional government is a guild. Like medieval guilds. You can’t serve in if you’re not a member. If you haven’t been indoctrinated into its arcane rituals. If you aren’t in the club. Trump isn’t in the club and he brought in a bunch of people who aren’t in the club with him.
Now we’re seeing what the pros do when amateurs try to walk in on them. They spy on them, they investigate them and they send them to jail. They use the tools of power to bring them down.
That’s not a free country.
It’s not a free country when FBI agents who support Hillary take out an “insurance policy” against Trump winning the election. It’s not a free country when Obama officials engage in massive unmasking of the opposition. It’s not a free country when the media responds to the other guy winning by trying to ban the conservative media that supported him from social media. It’s not a free country when all of the above collude together to overturn an election because the guy who elected wasn’t supposed to win.
Have no doubt, we’re in a civil war between conservative volunteer government and a leftist Democrat professional government.

Three Contractors Bid On Repair To The White House Fence.... One is from Chicago, another is from Kentucky, and the third is from New Orleans.
All three go with a White House official to examine the fence.
The New Orleans contractor takes out a tape measure and does some measuring, then works some figures with a pencil. "Well," he says, "I figure the job will run about $9,000. That's $4,000 for materials, $4,000 for my crew and $1,000 profit for me."
The Kentucky contractor also does some measuring and figuring, then says, "I can do this job for $7,000. That's $3,000 for materials, $3,000 for my crew and $1,000 profit for me."
The Chicago contractor doesn't measure or figure, but leans over to the White House official and whispers, "$27,000."
The official, incredulous, says, "You didn't even measure like the other guys!! How did you come up with such a high figure???
"The Chicago contractor whispers back, "$10,000 for me, $10,000 for you, and we hire the guy from Kentucky to fix the fence"
"Done!" replies the government official.
And that, my friends, is how the Government Stimulus plan works...
