On June 8, 2009 at approximately 9:02 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police arrested the below listed suspect on an outstanding warrant obtained by Detectives from the Wicomico Co. Child Advocacy Center. The investigation of the suspect revealed that between October of 2007 and April of 2009 the suspect sexually assaulted a female juvenile at various locations within Wicomico County. The suspect was known to the victim’s family.
ARRESTED: Frank Sarafino Catapano, 49 years of age Salisbury, Maryland
CHARGES:
Third degree sex offense (4 counts)
Fourth degree sex offense (4 counts)
Sex abuse of a minor (4 counts)
Second degree assault (4 counts)
Contribute to condition of a minor
Second degree child abuse – custody
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200900019138/200900020032

Please be selective about who you allow around your child.It always galls me to hear of this type of abuse and to learn that it was a "friend of the family" who was staying at their home or just hanging around.Know who and what you are exposing your kids to.Single Moms,sometimes it is better to stay single than to risk bringing around some guy who will hurt your kids.Children never get over abuse!
