THE IRISH ARE COMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!


The Friends of Poplar Hill Mansion is pleased to invite you to bring the kids, and come to our Celtic Show Sunday, March29th at 1:00. In conjunction with “Music at the Mansion” Irish American singers, Mike O’Loughlin, Mickey Justice, and Mezzo Soprano, Aleta Davis will perform your favorite Celtic tunes, old and new. Silent auction items will be available to bid on, and traditional Irish refreshments will be served. Wear your favorite kilt or clan garb for even more fun! Please join us for an afternoon of fine food, wonderful music and a chance to share our Irish heritage with the kids. Yes, you can sing along with the band! The Friends of Poplar Hill Mansion is a 501 ( c ) (3) corporation dedicated to the preservation of Poplar Hill Mansion, the oldest home in Salisbury, built in the Federal Style. The funds raised go toward interior restoration. If you fall in love with Poplar Hill Mansion as we have, please consider joining the Friends of Poplar Hill Mansion. Sorry Jazzmd, but the ancient Celts from whom most Irish are decended and the Druids used the 4 leaf clover as their lucky charm representing air, earth, fire, and water, later changed by the Christions to faith hope, love and luck. The Catholic Church rechose the 3 leaf clover to represent the Holy Trinity in an effort to turn the people away from the Druids to the beliefs of Christianity. To honor our ancient traditions as well as todays, either is appropriate. Celtic Girl
