The picture is of a four leaf clover not a shamrock.
ReplyDeleteThis is nice, a family friendly event. The old house is nice. Should be good.
ReplyDeleteSorry Jazzmd, but the ancient Celts from whom most Irish are decended and the Druids used the 4 leaf clover as their lucky charm representing air, earth, fire, and water, later changed by the Christions to faith hope, love and luck. The Catholic Church rechose the 3 leaf clover to represent the Holy Trinity in an effort to turn the people away from the Druids to the beliefs of Christianity. To honor our ancient traditions as well as todays, either is appropriate. Celtic Girl
