BREAKING NEWS! BUSTER HAS BEEN ADOPTED!

I just received the coolest call from Linda Lugo at the Humane Society. She said, I'm going to start calling you, "Hero Joe" from here on out. I said, why? She replied, Buster was just adopted! A wonderful Lady came in on her lunch break today and said, I saw a dog on Salisbury News this morning and I'd like to take a look at him please. Linda came out and they showed her this beautiful animal. She said, Joe was right, this dog does have really soft hair.

She then got on her cell phone and called her Husband who immediately left work and came over to see Buster as well. The Couple immediately fell in love with Buster and adopted him on the spot. While they were filling out their paperwork, Linda's Dentist came in and said, Linda, I'd like to see that Lab Joe Albero has on Salisbury News. Linda replied, I'd be happy to show him to you but this couple just adopted him. He was VERY pleased to see Buster was going to a great home and proceeded in to take a look at whatever else they had left in their inventory.

Buster will have the rest of his shots today and will be micro chipped and will be heading home with this Couple THIS EVENING! My God, it just doesn't get any better than this Folks. I can't thank ALL of you enough for visiting Salisbury News and coming to the rescue of these wonderful animals. May God Bless You ALL.

By the way Linda, who's your Dentist? I'd like to give him some business right away.

YES. . .YES YES!! Thanks again for posting the original story, Joe. You just made my day - and a LOT of other people's as well.

And to the couple who adopted Buster: God bless the 3 of you! The Lab I adopted from there 7 years ago is all the family I have and is like a son to me. Congratulations, Buster!

That's great Joe. Who said you don't have a heart?

Hoooooorrrrraaaaaay!

Reconciled, everyone knows (except certain curmudgeon powers that be) that Joe has a big bark when it comes to some people, but inside he has a great big squeaky toy when it comes to animals.

Any chance of hooking up with other counties for this?

We are the couple that surprised our twelve year old son this evening when he opened moms door to help unload groceries. Thing is there was a healthy dog in place of the groceries. I would strongly encourage anyone looking for a pet to contact the Humane Society first.Just go out and visit the folks out there and take a tour, you never know you too might just be the one taking a wonderful pet home tomorrow night.
