Salisbury Police & Wicomico County Sheriff's Department Bag A Bad Guy!

On January 23, 2008 at approximately 10:24 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department were on routine patrol in the area of Hill St. and Fitzwater St. when they observed a vehicle operated by the below listed suspect who was known to be wanted on several outstanding warrants. What really happened: A Salisbury Officer grabbed the suspect, causing the suspect to produce a handgun and point the handgun at the Salisbury Officer. The Salisbury Officer let go of the suspect and the SPD officer shit his pants and the suspect again fled from the Officer on foot.

He wasn't always a POS, he was a good kid once upon a time and a very good athlete. How sad this is the road he has chosen.

Leave your negative comments of this Officer somewhere else (like up your asses). Those who made these negative comments don't have enough balls to do what this Officer did and does on a daily basis. I happen to know this Officer and find him to be a successful, productive Officer and have much respect for him. GREAT JOB!! Keep up the great work brother :) I've got your back. Different Dept but fellow Brother!

Richardson's lucky he didn't get the slug in him!

I'm just sorry you guys didn't get to shoot him. As for his athletic ability heres a who gives a crap! I was a great athlete, cop and self made man and nobody ever gave me a break in life. Why should some gun toting drug dealer get one? Should of shot the guy and done us all a favor!

To the great athlete, cop and self made man; that Barney Fife wantabe probably doesn't know what end of the tube the round comes out of, And if he did he would be shaking so much he couldn't hit his own big ass with a pitch fork.

Daily basis my ass. He is a big ass kisser and follower. He couldn't find his own shadow unless hes pointed in the right direction.

this guy is a carier criminal I personal have delt with this asshole in the past I hope the courts/sao will not give him any pleas, he belongs in prision the rest of his nasty life

Everyone can monday night quarter back all they want about an arrest. The arresting officer is not a big man by no means. So what if he didn't get a hold of the POS and disarm him? He did what he thought at the time was smart. Let him go, protect himself, and buy time for backup to arrive and track the guy down. It's called teamwork and that's what cops do.

And 4:46 that's just personal and has nothing to do with getting this scumbag off the street. Getting pointed in the right direction doesn't matter when the results are for the greater good.

Frankly it makes me sick that fellow officers of his dept. would talk smack about him on this blog. He attempted to arrest a suspect who pulled a firearm on him. Period. It doesn't matter who he follows etc. I've found him to be a productive member of the dept. and not a follower. He is trying to be successful at what he does. Obviously, whoever is talking smack, has never been in such a situation. Ofc. Crockett, good work. Ignore the morons. Apperently, no one is immune from getting smack talked about them on this blog, even good cops who do their jobs.

i heard the events of that night the bad guy started running again as the officer let go and started pulling his firearm due to having a firearm pointed at him. notice the bad guy didn't stick around for what was about to happen? From what i read it was great teamwork by spd and wcso "team work" is what got the bad guy in jail and no one injured.

from what i heard the guy ran from the officer as the officer was pulling his firearm due to having a firearm pointed at him. the officer then pursued the suspect and that officer along with other officers and deputies apprehended the suspect within seconds. Sounds like a great bust and good team work by spd and wcso.

sirrobertpeel you are a complete moron yourself. You should be the last person who can make a comment about criticizing good cops. You have done that more than anyone. At the same time you seem to only praise the ones who everyone knows to be the mediocre ass kissers. I wonder why? You are APPARENTLY (correct spelling) just like them. FYI I wouldn't work for SPD if it was the last agency on earth.

He is a young officer who puts great effort to learn and improve. I'm sure as his career moves on you will see more arrests like this one!
"A" level work to all involved. KIR

peel: Good comment, I'll give you that. But, you are such a hypocrite. You talk smack about good cops on here all the time. It seems you are so quick to put someone elses name on here but your own. Coward.

Reading these comments make me sick! A police officer had a gun pulled on him and all I read is that he is a coward but everyone at SPD knows who is putting down this officer TM. Do us a favor and take that job in New York because your sh.t does stink and its getting worse by the day!

Some said that they would not work for SPD in it was the last force on earth......well good who said SDP would want you? Every agency has their problems and where you work has them to, you are scard to put a full day of work where crime is off the hook but thats ok not every one is able to. If you do not work at SPD you have no right to put them down. People need to grow up and stop all of this bs putting down an officer who had a gun pulled on them, putting down police departments. Its not the public its other police officers and you call each other brothers!

None of this would have happened if all drugs were legal. I mean our country spends billions and billions and billions and billions (etc.) of dollars on the war on drugs EACH YEAR (wasting OUR tax money!) And guess what? its doing nothing but causing more crime! If all drugs were legal there would be no more drug dealers because the drugs would then be regulated by the government. The drug dealers and gangs would then be run out of business :) Orrrrrrrr, our country can keep drugs illegal and keep wasting money and effort in the future because the war on drugs will ALWAYS be a failure! Drugs will always be on our streets and be easy to get no matter how strong law enforcement’s effort is. With how bad our economy I'd say a great idea we be to legalize all drugs and tax them and use that tax money to help boost our economy.
