Spite Can Ruin A Man

Two months ago a local Family reached out to me in reference to their children being allegedly taken by their Mother. Law Enforcement have been aggressively searching for the Mother and the Children but have yet to locate them.

Over the past 5 years Salisbury News has delivered some very powerful tips to local law enforcement. Sheriff Mike Lewis, (more so than anyone) knows very well just how much we have been able to assist in numerous cases and today was no different.

HOWEVER, even though I have not been able to make direct contact with Mike Lewis or Matt Maciarello, I used to be able to rely on Chief Gary Baker to pass on information. That too has now changed.

You see, even though a Mother has run off with these children, even though this case is in the hands of the Sheriff's Department, even though I have an exact address, even though I have been attempting to call the Sheriff's Department, they refuse to answer their phone.

Therefore I was forced to make contact with the Maryland State Police and fill them in on the details. Yes, I left Gary Baker a message telling him I had such information on this person, Mr. Baker never returned my call. Last week I left him a text message on another case but again I never received a reply.

Look, here's my problem with all of this. It's one thing that Mike Lewis and Matt Maciarello no longer appreciate what I do. However, when there are CHILDREN out there who have allegedly been kidnapped and taken out of state, I DRAW THE LINE RIGHT THERE!

That being said, today I learned that someone I know will in fact be running against Mike Lewis for Sheriff of Wicomico County. Not only am I pleased that this person has chosen to commit himself to the race, he can actually beat Mike Lewis. The morale at the Sheriff's Department is at an all time low, officers are leaving the department and its childish behavior like the above case in which Sheriff Mike Lewis needs to move on and let a true professional do the job.

By the time the new election comes about, I will be exposing information about the Sarah Foxwell case that will hand deliver the election to the new incoming Sheriff and my guess is Mike Lewis doesn't have the stones to run again anyway. We'll then hear something like, I'm not running again so I can spend more time with my Family. You know the usual excuse.

Since I know Matt, Gary and Mike read Salisbury News, let me ask you guys this question. If it were YOUR children missing and I got word of exactly where they were located, would you answer the phone then? Grow Up Gentlemen!

In the mean time, the case is now being handled by the Maryland and Delaware State Police along with WBI.

NFP Big Miss: 120K, Expectations 205K, Unemployment 8.2%, "Not In Labor Force" At New All Time High

March NFP big miss at just 120K. Unemployment rate declines from 8.3% to 8.2%. Futures slide, for at least a few minutes before the NEW QE TM rumor starts spreading. The household survey actually posted a decline in March from 142,065 to 142,034. Considering Birth Death added 90K to the NSA number, the actual number was almost unchanged. The unemployment rate drops to 8.2% for one simple reason: the number of people not in the labor force is back to all time highs: 87,897,000.

Good News! Whoopi Goldberg Says It’s Okay To Use The N-Word!

Woe be unto any white reporter foolish enough to pay attention to this.

Oh the delicious irony.

On ABC’s The View Tuesday, as co-host Whoopi Goldberg supported Saturday’s call by CNN’s Don Lemon for reporters to say the N-word when quoting folks that have, the censors actually bleeped her when she said the word herself…

…Goldberg introduced the segment by mentioning how various CNNers have said the N-word during recent newscasts, after which she mentioned Lemon’s call for this to universally be the case.

After some give and take mostly with co-host Barbara Walters who expressed discomfort with the idea, Goldberg said, “What reporters do is they report the news. And every time you make it ‘the N-word,’ it’s cute.”

She continued, “But I feel very strongly about the word. Do not eliminate it. It’s part of our history. Every time people try to sort of make it sound better or more acceptable, let’s call it what it is.”

Walters then asked Goldberg if she uses the actual word.

Ironically, part of Goldberg’s response was bleeped, but from what I can tell by trying to read her lips in the video, I believe she said, “Yes I call it what it is. I say n—ger, they bleep me.”

Walters seemed surprised and asked, “When you say it on this show you are bleeped?”

…However, it still seems rather odd this discussion is happening as racial tensions are running high after the Trayvon Martin shooting and some seem to be ginning up a race war to assist the reelection of Barack Obama.

Beyond this, I sincerely wonder how the black community would respond if white journalists suddenly started using this word even in the context of a news report.

Latest Cybersecurity Bill Even More Of A Concern Than Last Attempt

(ABC News) Congress is set to act on cybersecurity legislation that has been making its way through committees in both chambers for several years. The House is set to vote on these bills during the week of April 23, dubbed “Cybersecurity Week.” The Senate will take action soon after.

A lot of important work has gone into these bills that are intended to strengthen both the government and civilian response to cyber threats. Yet parts of these bills are alarming because, if passed, any information we put online—work, play, personal and sensitive—could be put at risk.

Thoughtful policy can help harden critical infrastructure targets—such as the electric grid, nuclear power plants, and communication networks—against unauthorized intrusions, making the Internet a safer place for all. But if Congress does not step up to make important changes in these bills, we may face an epic loss of our civil liberties.

What is this bill?

(RT) H.R. 3523, a piece of legislation dubbed the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act (or CISPA for short), has been created under the guise of being a necessary implement in America’s war against cyberattacks. But the vague verbiage contained within the pages of the paper could allow Congress to circumvent existing exemptions to online privacy laws and essentially monitor, censor and stop any online communication that it considers disruptive to the government or private parties. Critics have already come after CISPA for the capabilities that it will give to seemingly any federal entity that claims it is threatened by online interactions, but unlike the Stop Online Piracy Act and the Protect IP Acts that were discarded on the Capitol Building floor after incredibly successful online campaigns to crush them, widespread recognition of what the latest would-be law will do has yet to surface to the same degree.

YouTube: New Channels Cater to Lefties

YouTube released 100 new channels in April, and there’s not a conservative voice to be found. The site embraced lefty culture with a vengeance, and liberal voices rule the social realm. From former MSNBC host Cenk Uygur to lefty new age author Deepak Chopra, liberals are commonplace figures in the new content.

YouTube’s new channels make it an ideal video platform for the left. While the channels feature prominent liberal personalities, there are no conservative voices in the lineup. Instead, the channels feature the defamation of Christians, attacks on capitalism and advice to mothers from a former Playboy model.

Government Do Anything Well?

I’m suspicious of superstitions, like astrology or the belief that “green jobs will fix the environment and the economy.” I understand the appeal of such beliefs. People crave simple answers and want to believe that some higher power determines our fates.

The most socially destructive superstition of all is the intuitively appealing belief that problems are best solved by government.

Opinion polls suggest that Americans are dissatisfied with government. Yet whenever another crisis hits, the natural human instinct is to say, “Why doesn’t the government do something?”

And politicians appear to be problem-solvers. We believe them when they say, “Yes, we can!”

In 2008, when Barack Obama’s supporters shouted, “Yes, we can!” they expressed faith in the power of government to solve problems. Some acted as if Obama were a magical politician whose election would end poverty and inequality and bring us to “the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal.”

At least now people have come to understand that presidents — including this president — can’t perform miracles.

In other words: No, they can’t! — which happens to be the title of my new book.

Preliminary Release Of Serious Motor Vehicle Crash

Marydel, DE-The Delaware State Police are currently on-scene of a serious two vehicle crash in the area of Mahan Corner Road and Westville Road near Marydel.

Troopers at the scene continue to investigate the crash and the roadway around the affected area has been shut down. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and plan alternate routes.

The Truth About Wisconsin

Last week’s Republican primary in Wisconsin was not the biggest battle in the Badger State. That will come this June, when Wisconsin Democrats, backed by the raging might of state and national government unions, will attempt to recall Republican Governor Scott Walker in a fiercely contested general election.

It will be a difficult fight for the embattled governor. That stems in large part from the boldness of Walker’s 2011 budget reforms, which made him a hero to conservatives even as they turned him into a hate figure for unions and the left. First, Walker ended the unions’ automatic collection of dues from members’ paychecks, cutting off a major source of union funds. Next he required state workers to contribute a modest 5.8 percent of their salaries toward their pensions and to cover 12.6 percent of their health insurance premiums, thus bringing Wisconsin closer in line with private sector and national averages and giving the state a chance to get a grip on its spiraling finances. Most controversially, he restricted most public unions’ collective bargaining to salaries, canceling a corrupt and fiscally unsustainable cycle that saw unions negotiate generous perks with the same politicians they helped elect.

PHOENIX (AP) - Failed corruption investigations launched by America's self-proclaimed toughest sheriff have succeeded in getting one of the lawman's top allies disbarred.

And despite Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio's efforts to distance himself from cases at the center of a legal ethics panel inquiry that cost a pair of former county prosecutors their careers _ the fallout has moved closer.

"Sheriff Arpaio is the next big step," said Mary Rose Wilcox, a Maricopa County official who has been at odds with the sheriff and his allies. "He will fall."

Senator Wants Names And Bonuses

Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) issued a stern order to the General Services Administration's acting administrator, Dan Tangherlini. She wanted names and bonus payments of GSA officials named in a tough IG report on excessive conference and employee prize spending. McCaskill was peeved about the so-called Hats Off program. Hats Off appeared to have randomly given out expensive gifts to employees in the Public Buildings Service. On the conference front, GSA has canceled it's Green-Up meeting scheduled for later this month in Las Vegas. Las Vegas was the site of GSA's ill-fated Western Region training conference.

A 30-year-old former school teacher who allegedly produced child pornography has replaced former Al Qaeda chief Usama bin Laden on the FBI's "Ten Most Wanted Fugitives" list.

Eric Justin Toth, who has used the alias "David Bussone," is wanted for his alleged production and possession of child pornography in Washington, D.C., and Maryland, authorities said Tuesday. A $100,000 reward is being offered for information leading directly to his arrest. An FBI official said the list is sometimes incomplete for lengthy periods because replacing a captured former fugitive entails examining a host of factors, including whether the bureau has run out of all other options in attempting to find the suspect.
