Chaos In Chicago: Bridges Raised To Prevent Gun-Toting Looters Getting Downtown

Hundreds of 'mostly peaceful protesters' swept through the Magnificent Mile and other parts of downtown Chicago early Monday, smashing windows, looting stores, confronting police and at one point exchanging gunfire with officers, authorities said.

As The Chicago Tribune reports, officers had stopped several people on Lake Street near Michigan Avenue when shots were fired from a passing car around 4:30 a.m., nearly five hours into the widespread vandalism, according to police spokesman Tom Ahern.

No officers were shot but a squad car was hit, he said. It was not known if anyone in the gunman’s car was shot.

More backasswards thinking in Lightfoot Land. They should have raised the bridges while the looters were in downtown doing their looting, then funneled them all into holding cells awaiting charges.

And then that Soros bought and paid for DA Kim Foxx would decline to prosecute.

Unlike the Creature from the Black Lagoon who was curious about changes with its environment in the Amazon (humans arriving on an expedition), Lightfoot has no clue how to run a city, yet loves being in front of a microphone blaming everyone else.

She's a failure in civil service but at least the eastern shore is no where close with the problems of Chi-town.

Problems here, absolutely.

Set a few schunks loose in the crowd. I guarantee you they will leave and police can then follow their trail and arrest those who smell the most😂😂😂
