I no longer live in Salisbury, but I have heard that this unit is no longer functional. Case in point: the family of a deceased relative requested that donations be made to this unit which I did.
Neither I nor they received any acknowledgment of this gift even when the decedent's family inquired about it. This was embarrassing for them and me. They couldn't write proper thank you notes without a list of contributions, and I looked cheap.
The check has never cleared the bank, and I have no documentation for a charitable deduction on my income tax.
The only explanation I got was "The commander is old."
the cdr is worthless.
Sad, no one from newer generations are in the area. Need a good town there Jakey Boy for vets to come back to....this is also on your watch @sshat!
