Arson Ruled Homicide

Police are looking for help in solving an Exmore area arson homicide that occurred in late January.

State Police Sgt. Michelle Anaya said the remains of Shirley Onley, 70, were found at her Occohannock Neck Road home, the scene of a trailer fire.

Based on autopsy results, the death is being handled as a homicide, with the blaze having suspicious origin. Details about the cause of death or how the fire was started were not disclosed.
