Georgetown - The Delaware State Police are currently on the scene of a serious motor vehicle crash on County Seat Highway (US9) and Asbury Road that occurred around 7:43 a.m. this morning.
Preliminary investigation indicates the crash involves a motorcycle and a truck. The operator of the truck and motorcyclist were both removed from the scene by EMS and transported to a local hospital with undetermined injuries. The State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit is currently on scene and will assume the investigation.
US9 is currently closed between Concord Road and Tyndall Road. Commuters are advised to seek alternate routes of travel.
Further details will be released upon the conclusion of the investigation.
