My husband and I went to Assateague on Sunday, and saw this on the beach. Do any of our visitors know what it is, or can they help us identify it? Definitely STRANGE! Also heard that a whale washed up as well, but I can't find any pictures or story yet.

That looks like a King of the Salmon, or Trachipterus altivelis.. Pretty sure that is a Pacific fish, wonder how it got here??

Looks like an Oar Fish,but out of it's territory.They usually are found in really deep water.This is an amazing find.It must have died hundreds of miles out.
