They are an asset to this community. One incident does not make them a bad bunch of kids.

.....the meal ticket.....
Close the college and Salisbury would rot, completely surpassing its current state of decay.

An asset. There clearly looked like objects were being thrown at the police, however, how do we know the offenders were students here, residents here, or from out of town?

I won't judge the whole student body for the actions of a few who may or may not be students.

Necessary. SU students pay for most of Salisbury and give most of the community jobs.Maybe the focus should be turned off the students and turned toward the terrible crime in Salisbury. SU students are not an embarrassment, Salisbury police are an embarrassment for not taking care of the real crime. Salisbury is one of the most dangerous cities in the United States.

good for this community if they get a job when they graduate.Something commensurate to their education level, not fast food.

some good some not so good. We cant judge the whole SU Student body because of the ones who chose to act like animals. Whether we like it or not SU is here to stay, lets find a way to work together to make this community one we all want to live in, whether we live here permanently or just call it home while attending SU.

mostly good but others are hateful and destructive

For the most part a wonderful group of kids. The residents of the area don't want to see any of them seriously injured or killed. It's heartbreaking to all of us.
I find myself even being protective toward them, and do worry when these large parties involving alcohol happen. Not only the potential for driving tragedies but also sexual assaults and percieved sexual assaults could occur, fights, etc.

Kids are kids and I'm glad we have a college town but they need to respect the town and it's citizens having said that there will always be some bad apples.

An economic boost

Good for the area, but should look before crossing the street and not just step out hoping traffic will stop for them.
