Hearing Begins In Death Of Killer Whale Trainer
Orlando, Florida (CNN) -- A federal judge heard testimony Monday in a hearing over whether SeaWorld Orlando should be charged with a willful violation in the death of killer whale trainer Dawn Brancheau.
The first witness in the hearing took the stand before participants broke for lunch. Outside the Seminole County Courthouse, where the hearing was taking place, members of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals demonstrated.
Which Forest Gump thinks that humans can interact with PREDATOR animals in close proximity, keep them caged (when their genetic drive is to roam and hunt in thousands of square miles of ocean or land), "train" them (what a joke), and expect them to be complacent, docile, and never attack and kill that which would be just another meal in their own environment? Humans (and especially lawyers) have a very hard time with what seems to me to be simple and easily understood laws of nature and animal behavior...get real....
