G. Gordon Liddy: WikiLeaks Chief Deserves To Be On 'Kill List'

Former White House adviser: 'We're not playing games here'

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton says his action "puts people's lives in danger," and U.S. Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., has called for his website to be declared a foreign terrorist organization, but radio host and former White House leaks-stuffer G. Gordon Liddy has a more severe step in mind for WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange: kill him.

"Julian Assange is a severe national security threat to the U.S., and that then leads to what to do about it," Liddy told WND. "This fellow Anwar al-Awlaki – a joint U.S. citizen hiding out in Yemen – is on a 'kill list' [for inciting terrorism against the U.S.]. Mr. Assange should be put on the same list."

"I'm not surprised that G. Gordon Liddy wants Julian Assange killed," commentator Bill Press told WND. "He admits he once tried to figure out how to kill journalist Jack Anderson. Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I think people should have to commit a crime and be convicted before getting the death penalty. And, so far, Assange has done neither. The best treatment for Julian Assange is to ignore him – and focus on who's leaking to him."

I agree with Liddy we have become a weak and complacent country. Send a message !

Be certain, there is a kill list and he's at the top right now. If they get him back here in the United States, he's dead for certain, as an exaple to the next wiki leaker. It will appear as a natural of self inflicted death.

Liddy has a lot of room to talk given he was convicted and served time for conspiracy, burglary and illegal wire tapping.

What about Cheney advisor Scooter Libby? He did the same thing except HE was a member of the Bush administration.

The guy is a hero. You wanted the truth and he gave you the truth.

You can't handle the truth!

2:22 Exactly Liddy knows what the heck he's talking about he was an insider. Now do you know why he broke into the Watergate ?

4:17 You don't have the luxury of creating your own reality. Richard Armitage was the leaker, the crooked investigation convicted Libby of lying about a crime he didn't commit which would outrage a rational person. Stupid liberal !

It's laughable to compare a CIA secretary who told people she worked there to a person who stole classified information and sold it to our enemies.

He didn't 'steal' anything. And which enemy did he sell them to?

9:09 Ever heard the term espionage or do you need someone to explain it to you ? And if your okay with it would you have an issue with someone hacking your PC AND STEALING YOUR BANK INFO?

Yes I have heard of espionage, do you even know the meaning?

Now stop with the excited namby-pamby and actually use your brain.

The guy is a whistle blower who embarrassed the U.S. government.

He exposed their lies and crimes. That is just not to be.

Why oh WHY, are people like you more concerned with the fact that something was 'leaked', than the FACT that the government lied or committed crimes?

Take a good look at yourself and this country.

The country that we believe in and the country that actually exists is not one and the same.

They talk the talk but don't do the walk.

They will tell you what you want to hear, this and that, blah blah, but they do something entirely different.

THAT is what the cables expose.

THAT is what they hate.

THAT is why they are running around like a chicken with its' head cut off trying to cover their butt.

National security is a catch-all phrase that is used to allow them to do anything they want, without consequences.

So while you are looking up the definition of espionage, think about what I have said.

To hell with the lies and criminal acts of our government, let's kill the ones who brought the truth out.

If that means they are a spy, traitor, or threat to national security then add me to that list.

I am sure I will have some good company.

This needs to be brought back to current discussion. I'm sure others have opinions they haven't expressed yet.
