A woman says a funeral home's debt collector threatened to dig her deceased daughter's body up and hang it from a tree unless she paid what she owed for the funeral service. That's when she started recording the calls, capturing such things as, "We're going to have your dog arrested, we're going to shoot him, and we're going to eat him," and, "Are you going to pay this bill or not or am I going to have to kill you?"

i had a debt collect call work for my co-worker. he was demeaning to her saying such things as: "look at you trying to sound professional! how cute!" and "i will have the police there when you get off to have you arrested for this bill." and he wouldnt tell her what the bill was for.
They are not allowed to call people at work if they have been told not to do so.....and violating this rule can make the judge throw their case right out of court if they try to get a judgement.
My company had a bill cllector call for an employee. We politely informed him that we were not allowed to take personal calls. The person threatened to call repeatedly. Everyday from 2:30 - 4pm the phone rang repeatedly and hung up preventing our customers from getting through on all the lines. We called the police and the phone company and there was nothing that they could do to trace it because it was from a number that changed and was untraceable. We had to put up with it until he got tired of calling us.
why do so many of them call the fire department?
