Kratovil hops to DC for a Clinton fundraiser but avoids home state rally with Obama

ANNAPOLIS – Congressman Frank Kratovil has no problem voting for President Obama and Nancy Pelosi’s job-killing agenda, yet when the leader of Kratovil’s own party visits Maryland, the congressman is nowhere to be found.  With Rep. Kratovil holding a high dollar fundraiser with former President Bill Clinton in Washington D.C. this weekend, it is clear he is not afraid to rub shoulders with top Democrats behind closed doors.  So why the public snub of President Obama?  Maryland Republican Party Chairman Audrey Scott released the following statement regarding Rep. Kratovil shunning the President:

“Frank Kratovil continues to make it clear he prefers closed door meet and greets with Democrat elites rather than showing his face in public.  After voting with Nancy Pelosi 85% of the time, against the interests of the First District, Kratovil has refused to hold a single town hall with constituents.  Now President Obama is holding a public rally in Maryland and Kratovil is hiding once again, this time publicly snubbing the President of the United States.  Kratovil continues to vote for the Obama-Pelosi agenda in DC yet hides from his Party leadership when they come to Maryland.
