Here's the basics:
What: 1st Annual Brian Wagner Memorial Rockfish Tournament
Where: Fishing in the Chesapeake Bay. Weigh in is at Kingfish II Marina, Wenona, Maryland
When: Friday, November 26, 2010 Weigh in is at 5PM.
Who: All anglers including recreational anglers, charter boat captains and professional fisherman
Cost: Early registration $175 on or before November 15, 2010; Regular registration $200 no later than November 24, 2010
The Fish: Rockfish only. 28 inches and longer. Must be caught on hook and line as described in Maryland and Virginia recreational standards.
Prizes: $5,000 Guaranteed Grand Prize (no matter the number of boats entering). $25,000 Pickup Truck Biggest Fish Prize. Up to $45,000 in other cash prizes (based on the number of boats entering).
Food and Beverage: A pig, raw and steamed oysters, fixin's and beverages/beer after the tournament at the Kingfish dock for all anglers participating.
Benefiting: The Children of Brian Wagner Educational Fund
