It Takes More Than Shoes To Scare This Texan

After all these years, I think he has more to worry about than flying shoes. I doubt he realizes the insult these flying shoes carried.

Is that Herbert Hoover or Millard Filmore? ROFLMAO

It just gives us all insight of how childish, immature, and uneducated those islamofacists are.
It's too bad that the secret service didn't just shoot that idiot in the head right on the spot!

Why would you make a silly comment like doubting he knows what insult it conveys?

For 8 years Bush hasn't realized what an insult he has been to the American People so why would he think flying shoes were an insult? What would be funny is if Bush took his shoes off and threw them at Obama.

As bad as the economy will be in 2009, it's a banner year because we get rid of this trio -- Wayne Gilchrest, George W. Bush and Barrie Tilghman. Three Cheers!!!

And lets not let Bubba be "R Necks Mare"!!!

anon: 11:23 Which idiot? The one giving the speech?

Anonymous said...

he knew exactly the insult it was meant to be, but did not give that dog nor his followers the satisfaction of acheiving it..idiots

Yea, you idiots are going to wish for someone like him the next time (and it will happen) terrorists strike the US. Our new administration is going to want to "sit down" and have a dialogue with people who want to kill us. Yes, thats right. LEts have coffee and tea and talk about our differences, while you blow our heads off. Instead, we actually had a president who said "F--- You" and went out to blow the bastards up before they could strike again. Ah, the good ole days!

This issue needs to be dismissed as the last thing the crazy ass Muslims need is another martyr.

regardless of if you like the president or not you have to agree that he made America proud by not running into the back room like a chump

George W. Bush would have kicked his ass if that loser tried to pull off that stunt down in Texas on the ranch.

anon 1:27 No, Let's just start a war based on fiction, kill 4000 of our best men amd women, maim 25000 more, flush a trillion dollars down the tube and let a surplus turn into the largest spending spree and debt accumulation in history while we close down local plants and send jobs overseas. Theres nowhere to go but up no matter who takes over. Now, instead of a handfull of terrorists, we have cells in 80 different countries. Yeah, He really made me feel safe.

ANON 1:27 He said F%#k you all right. To the American public!

I feel if Bush was not so humble and a little more like that egotistical obama that he wouldnt have gotten such a "bad rap". How cool was he during the shoe tossing ? " It was a size 10" lmao.

Ir that was obama , My moneys on the posibolity that his militant looking wife would of been next to him and had her clock cleaned. And the real difference would of been , obama would of commondeared the shoes for a future e-bay auction. Because this guy does'nt miss a beat when it comes to making money.Have you all puchased your obama plates? Like thats what I want hanging in my house with my good china. If I need some color added I'll place my daughters colored pictures from kindergarden up, not obamas ugly mug. What IS that thing on the side of his nose? Some kind of middle east birth defect ? He's been aired on the tv more times than bush has in eight years. And every time , obama has been looking more like a terrorist than the time before.Just wait , by the time he is sworn in he'll be wearing a torbine and carrying a horse tail whip swatting at imaginary flys off his back.

I remember when the tanks helped pull down the statue of Saddam Hussien, the Iraqi's were smacking Saddam in the face with their sandels. He's lucky they were sandles and not some size 11 steel toed boots.

Bush's policies have ruined our nation. The answer to everything is print more money. Then we go to the store and only get half of what we used to get for a dollar.

If he could have kept gas prices from going out of control the taxpayers could have stimulated the economy ourselves with more money to spend elsewhere.

Chit, I'd volunteer to help move his butt out of the White House, that's not his or any president's house, it belongs to the taxpayers.

i was impressed with how well he dodged the shoe (which was intended to hit it looked like) and then then second shoe! yeah he was pretty cool and I liked how he said that it wasn't necessary for anyone to apologize on behalf of the Iraqi people.

About Bush, They found the huge stockpiles of uranium as well as the remains of what were uranium enrichment facilities. they also found huge stockpiles of chemical and biological weaponry. the really valuable stuff was probably moved prior to the invasions. I think George Bush helped stop America from being the victim of a nuclear attack. After which things would be a lot worse than they are now.

Anonymous said...

I for one don't know how it could be any worse. While we got their stockpiles they got our countrys' presidentry.

Well Iraq got a lot of the chemical and biologictal weapons from the US during the Reagan watch with the help of Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld.

We gave them WMD's to help with their war with Iran. We should of just nuked Iran back then. After all these other wars one bomb would have resulted in less casualties in the long term, and Iraq would never have needed the WMD's we gave them. Saddam was who the USA made him.

I am still recovering from exposure at RFK yesterday during the Navy heartbreaker. However, you guys know I am a critic of a certain "underachieving president". I am still too frozen to read the entire thread, but I have to tell you; look closely at the replay...no matter how much I make fun of the guy, he stood his ground like he was a proud Raven DT trying to block the "extra point". Twice. If you watch closely, and knowing some things about how we really have to suck up and ignore our own fundamental rights while serving to protect the financial interests of other certain Islamic theaters of action (do any of you know how the price of "Haji-Juice" has escalated-like crack-during the W. years}. W. ducks the first shot {very accurately aimed I may add}, and then waves off his own security detail to let the Iraqi police TCOB. I stand by my opinion that either McCain or W's own brother, should have wielded executive power at the end of the Clinton admin., but even as a lame duck I give W. props in this case by "kicking off the dirt on his shoulder." Like Palin, I believe in this man-but just as a governor/senator. And man, that is important enough for our long-term recovery!!

Anonymous said...

Maybe someone should throw a shoe at you.

Anonymous said...

He may not have realized the insult of the action but I bet he knows what the smell was like! That was a close call hahaha.

Anonymous said...

The real point is that the guy felt confident enough to throw a shoe in that environment. He would have been killed in any other regime in that section of the world, most pointedly in a Saddam Hussein regime. No matter how upset he was with Hussein, he would never had thrown a shoe at him and lived to tell. IN this case, George Bush said "Yes, sir, you're welcome." The Iraqis are the ones who took him into custody for embarrasing them but he is still alive. That's the real significance of this story...21 post about the actual shoe or worse how "bad" GW was a president. I'd like any one of you Bush bashers to realize Obama can never be half the man GW Bush is, it's not in his nature. He'll go with his proven record of saying absolutely nothing while the public nurses at the biggest pair of gov't boobs ever. Yes, I'm comparing every current and future social program to Dolly Parton's most memorable unusually large "breastussses".

Bush failed in the oil business, he failed as a major league team owner, and he failed us big time in the last eight years.

The shape of this nations is a mirror image of the city, up the creek without a paddle
