One young life gone forever More who will now go to prison. Children today seem to have no value for human life, it makes me sad.

My heart goes out to the family of the victim as well as the family of the perp. The perp just graduated from highschool to the school of really hard knocks aka prison. A hell of a way to begin his adult life. A horrid way for the victims life to end.

How do you know the perp just graduated? He could have been a college student who had come back home. Ive heard many names, but one name and story sticks out. Ill release later.

And punishment for the offender? Really. . .

HIGHLY unlikely in our current system of justice.

The kids were not recent grads. They were all about 19 from what I understand. Makes no difference. Its still a horrible thing. These boys will go to jail for a longgg time, there lives were just begining. I feel bad for all involved here, especially the parents.

Best they will get is manslaughter and out in 5 - 10 years for good behavoir.

What happened to an eye for an eye.

If it was my child, there could be not court that keep my hands off their throat, 5 secends and that is all I would need.

Justice is never served anymore, that is why the country is failing. We are too nice to criminals, nothing to fear nothing to lose.

Seems like the assailants have lawyered up already. Perhaps the family of the victim needs to move forward with civil suits for wrongful death.

From what I heard atleast one of the victims was always provocating trouble...and warn about his mouth and behavior, from cops to friends. Not that murder should have ever happen. But let that be a lesson to routy trouble makers.. Every dog has its day. How sad for all.
Parent see bad behavior with their kids and do nothing, then things like this happens and they are in shock. WAKE UP PARENTS teach your kids there are consequences for your actions. Kids don't fight like they use to its right down evil now.
My prayers are with all involved

From what I understand the vitim was quite a trouble maker. NOT that anyone should ever end up mudered. But parents when you have been told so many times by police, family and friends that your child is on a very destructive path. DO SOMETHING... or you will wake up to a very bad nighmare like this one and act shocked. Mean things happen to mean people. Kids don't have the life values we had. They fight to destroy not to make a point. Someone should have seen this one coming... And now because everyone looked the other way sooooo many life are detroyed forever. My prayers are with every one. God help us all...

One of your articles says that the victim was a trouble maker. Also that this person's family had been told by family and friends and the police that he was headed on a destructive path. Let me help you get your facts straight. Michael the victim ,the one who was murdered was not a trouble maker and I know this first hand. Michael told kids not to fight that it only gets someone hurt. Michael lived life to the fullest , he was a happy warm hearted person . I am not saying he was perfect know one is . I can tell you he has kept alot of kids from fighting. If you really want the truth his friends will be happy to tell you. He was brought up with family values and parents who was always there for him . So please find out who you are talking about before you put something out here for everyone to read. The comments you posted do not apply to Michael and has nothing to do with this situation. The other victims couldn't save their freinds life and they have to live with that ,don't you think you should have a little compassion for Michael's family ,friends and all the victims.
