Former 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton weighed in on President Trump's impeachment fight Tuesday and cautioned House Democrats against moving too fast and jumping to conclusions.
"I think the evidence concerning Ukraine is so dramatic and irrefutable because it came right out of the White House. So let the impeachment inquiry proceed," she said on ABC's "Good Morning America." "I know that they will do a thoughtful, thorough job. Nobody should jump to any conclusions."
Clinton also criticized Trump's calls to unmask the Ukraine whistleblower and claimed his actions could put the leaker at risk.

Conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch on Monday announced the State Department released a previously hidden email that shows the State Department was fully aware of Hillary Clinton’s private email account.
The email provided to Judicial Watch shows State Department officials not only knew about Hillary’s private email, they also used it to communicate with Hillary Clinton while she was the head of the Department of State.

Maryland Criminal Intelligence Network Contributes to Dismantling of Drug Trafficking Organizations
During the month of September, law enforcement agencies in Maryland made dozens of arrests related to violent crimes and drug trafficking organizations that were distributing a number of controlled dangerous substances throughout the state, including nearly 500 grams of fentanyl. According to the DEA, that amount could kill more than 200,000 people.
“The safety and security of our citizens is a top priority, and the Maryland Criminal Intelligence Network is making a difference by helping to restore our communities impacted by violent crime.” said Governor Hogan. “These recent arrests send a powerful message that trafficking of illegal drugs will not be tolerated.”
MCIN is a criminal justice strategy funded by the Hogan administration through the Governor’s Office of Crime Control and Prevention. Announced by Governor Hogan in 2017, the MCIN strategy encourages local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies to collaborate and share information to target, disrupt, and dismantle criminal organizations, including gangs and other groups that conduct drug, firearm, and human trafficking. So far, the Hogan administration has invested roughly $9 million in the MCIN initiative, with more than $1.7 million going to efforts in Baltimore City since 2018.
“Governor Hogan has encouraged his administration to work across disciplines to find ways to address the opioid epidemic,” said Glenn Fueston, Executive Director of the Governor’s Office of Crime Control and Prevention, during a press conference with Baltimore Police and the Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office announcing recent indictments. “Our MCIN partners have played an important role in stopping the distribution of dangerous drugs like fentanyl in our state, and we are grateful for their hard work to protect our communities and put traffickers behind bars.”

On September 10, Baltimore City Police executed nine search warrants and dismantled the “Primetime” drug trafficking organization, which sold fentanyl in Southwest Baltimore. As a result of this investigation, police made seven arrests and seized:
Approximately 450 grams of fentanyl
85 grams of crack cocaine
A loaded Ruger pistol that was reported stolen
More than $69,000 in cash
Twelve suspects have been indicted on state Kingpin and related drug charges. Baltimore Police worked with the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) program to complete this operation.
Salisbury MCIN
The Maryland State Police Gang Enforcement Unit led two multi jurisdictional operations that yielded more than a dozen arrests to reduce violent crime and violations involving firearms on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. During the first operation, State Police and allied agencies gathered information and identified a number of gang members and other suspects in open criminal investigations. Seven people from Salisbury were arrested and investigators seized:
- 39.7 grams of marijuana
- 2 grams of heroin
- 42.3 grams of fentanyl
- 10.1 grams of cocaine
- 14.5 grams MDMA/Ecstasy
- 15 milligrams of Oxycodone
Maryland State Police partnered with the Salisbury Police Department, Wicomico County State’s Attorney Office, Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office, Homeland Security Investigations- RAC Eastern Shore Office, Maryland State Police Gun Enforcement Unit- East, Maryland State Police S.T.A.T.E. Team, Maryland State Police Salisbury Barrack, and the Wicomico County Narcotics Task Force to complete these operations.
WASHINGTON, D.C. (WSET) -- President Donald Trump signed the Autism CARES Act of 2019 into law on Monday, Sept. 30.
According to Rep. Chris Smith, the bill will authorize $1.8 billion over 5 years in research funding to help children and adults with autism.

Teen given birth control implant at school without parent's permission
BALTIMORE, MD (WPVI) -- A mother found out her 16-year-old daughter received a birth control implant at school after the teen started complaining about headaches and arm pain, according to WMAR.
Nicole Lambert sent her daughter to get checked out by a pediatrician.
The doctor said the three-year contraceptive had been implanted improperly and had to be removed.
Photos showed Lambert's daughter had the implant near the back of her arm instead of the inside of her upper arm.

Advertising through Myspace and word of mouth, they sold clothes to their friends and classmates out of their dorm rooms. Short says it got them through college, after which they both pursued their separate careers.
They couldn’t escape the dream. Eventually, they decided to “go all in,” Short said, and spend their life savings starting Cascade Armory. The clothes were designed with the Shorts’ community in mind — flannel button-ups, hoodies and beanies make up the unofficial uniform of Bend, Oregon, where the company is located. Currently, Diana Short lives there with the couple’s two children, while Alex splits his time between Boise and Bend.

Maryland State Police, MDOT SHA Continue To Stress Importance Of ‘Move Over’ Laws
(PIKESVILLE, MD) – This month marks the one-year anniversary of Maryland’s “Move Over” law being expanded to include all service vehicles on state roads.
The Maryland State Police and the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration are using this milestone as a reminder on just how important it is for motorists to adhere to these vital motor vehicle safety laws. The outreach to the public for this law will include news releases, social media, public service announcements and media interviews.
All 50 States have enacted “Move Over” laws, but very few Americans know they exist. According to a national poll by Mason Dixon Polling & Research, sponsored by the National Safety Commission, 71 percent of Americans have not heard of move over laws. So far in 2019, 29 law enforcement officers have been killed nationally in traffic-related crashes.
**BAY BRIDGE ROADWORK UPDATE**
The Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) is taking a number of steps to minimize traffic backups during the $27 million Bay Bridge rehabilitation project to replace the deck surface of the westbound span right lane. The first step is to implement cashless tolling at the Bay Bridge from noon to 10 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays through the duration of the project. With all tolls collected electronically, cash drivers will move through the toll plaza without stopping. Cash drivers will still get the $4 rate and will be sent a statement in the mail. Drivers are encouraged to get a free E-ZPass transponder at ezpassmd.com to simplify toll payments.
On Thursdays and Fridays, only under severe backups and weather permitting, MDTA will implement two-way operations allowing drivers to travel eastbound and westbound on the westbound span at reduced speeds of 25 to 35 mph. Two-way operations will provide three lanes eastbound and one lane westbound for short periods of time to reduce the backups. As we have communicated throughout the summer, drivers should still expect to encounter heavy congestion and delays throughout the project.
MDTA Police will travel the westbound span for enforcement and to help slow vehicles down during two-way operations. The public can help by staying alert, keeping speeds down and maintaining a safe distance. During two-way operations, commercial trucks are not permitted to travel eastbound or westbound on the westbound span due to the narrower lane configuration. As with wind restrictions that prevent trucks from using the Bay Bridge in certain conditions, MDTA will notify truckers when two-way operations are in place.
MDTA officials will work closely with the MDOT Maryland State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) to monitor traffic throughout the system.
MDOT SHA will continue to dispatch additional CHART vehicles to address any incidents on route 50 and parallel routes. MDTA Police will continue to work with Maryland State Police, Anne Arundel County Police Department and Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office.

JMB High School Put In "Safe in Place"
This is an important status update for students, families and staff of James M. Bennett High School. This morning the school was put in Safe in Place status after a concerning phone call.
School administration and Central Office personnel worked closely with School Resource Officers and the Wicomico Sheriff's Office to investigate the call and make sure the staff and students were safe.
Law Enforcement officials deemed the school safe from any immediate threat, and the school is returning to normal operations and you do not need to pick up your student. However, if you wish to sign out your student, please come to the main entrance doors with a photo ID to sign them out.
Please know that the safety of students and staff is our highest priority. We will update you later. Thank you.
