Democrats routinely blame Donald Trump for exacerbating racial tensions, but they're the ones who made the stoking of ethnic conflict a hallmark of their electoral strategy long before 2016.
President Lyndon Johnson, for instance, reportedly viewed the 1964 Civil Rights Act and the 1965 Voting Rights Act in purely cynical and racist terms,predicting that the new laws would enable Democrats to secure the black vote for generations to come. Democrats then spent the next several decades baselessly impugning their Republican opponents as racists, but the practice really ramped up during the administration of President Barack Obama.
As the militant Black Lives Matter movement began calling for violence against police officers and rioting in the streets, Obama added fuel to the fire with his pronouncements on race. When the nation was divided over the killing of black teenager Trayvon Martin, for instance, Obama remarked that if he had a son, he would look like Martin.

The $6 Trillion Pension Bailout Is Coming
Fiscal responsibility is dead.
This past week, Trump announced he had reached an agreement with Congress to pass a continuing resolution which will suspend the debt ceiling until July 2021.
The good news is that it will ONLY increase spending by just $320 billion.
What a bargain, right?
It’s a lie.
That is just the “starting point” of proposed spending. Without a “debt ceiling” to constrain spending, the actual spending will be substantially higher.
However, the $320 billion is also deceiving because that is on top of the spending we have already committed. As I noted just recently:

It features two six-ounce angus beef burgers stuffed with a third of a pound of homemade macaroni and cheese, a quarter-pound slab of cheddar cheese and a quarter of a pound of deep-fried pork belly. That whole thing is then wrapped in a bacon weave that alone is about a half-pound of bacon.
It’s then deep fried and served with a side of cheddar cheese sauce and your choice of milder chipotle sauce, or a fiery hot habanero sauce that Fried Specialties owner Jim Hasbrouck said will “take it beyond belief.”

Rubio on Huawei
Sen. Marco Rubio is confident that Congress will codify in law Trump administration restrictions imposed on China’s telecommunications giant Huawei Technologies, a company the Florida Republican says poses a national security threat to the United States.
Huawei, which was sanctioned by the administration in May, is “an instrument of state power” for China, Mr. Rubio told Inside the Ring.
The senator is among a bipartisan group in Congress that recently introduced legislation in both the Senate and House that would permanently impose a Commerce Department ban on sales of U.S. semiconductors and other items to Huawei.
President Trump signed an executive order in May imposing curbs on the use of any foreign adversary equipment by U.S. telecommunications companies and severely limited Huawei’s business by placing the company on the Commerce Department’s entities list. Designation on the list requires obtaining an export license for any exports to Huawei with a presumption of denial.

BREAKING: Judge dismisses Covington student's defamation suit against Washington Post
A federal judge in Kentucky Friday threw out a defamation lawsuit filed against The Washington Post by Covington Catholic High School student Nicholas Sandmann and his family over the paper's reporting of an incident between the young man and a Native American man this past January in Washington.
The lawsuit, which was filed in February, sought $250 million in damages and accused the Post of practicing "a modern-day form of McCarthyism" by targeting Sandmann and "using its vast financial resources to enter the bully pulpit by publishing a series of false and defamatory print and online articles ... to smear a young boy who was in its view an acceptable casualty in their war against the president."
Sandmann became the focus of outrage after a video of him standing face-to-face with a Native American man, Nathan Phillips, while wearing a red "Make America Great Again" hat surfaced and rapidly spread online. Sandmann was one of a group of Covington students attending the anti-abortion March for Life in Washington, D.C., while Phillips was attending the Indigenous Peoples' March on the same day.

“Now Mueller is supposed to be this smart lawye, but he doesn’t seem to understand the fundamental part of our judicial system,” Paul said. “So he writes in his report, ‘Well, I can not exonerate him, I can’t tell you that he’s innocent.’”
“That’s never the job of a prosecutor,” Paul said. “A prosecutor never does that. You either prove guilt or the presumption is of innocence.”

A report claims that witnesses to the bizarre dancefloor suicide of an FBI agent in an Austin nightclub were told to “keep quiet” about the incident.
Salvatore “Sal” Cincinelli, a former Wall Street broker, was one of the Bureau’s top financial crimes supervisors and also allegedly probed the finances of the Clinton Foundation.
Cincinelli, 41, was found with at least one gunshot wound inside the Container Bar in Austin, Texas when police arrived there shortly before midnight on July 16, reports the New York Post.
He had been out partying with FBI colleagues. The group had been drinking and dancing but Cincinelli reportedly turned the gun on himself later in the evening in the middle of a crowded dancefloor.

Petition to change Halloween to last Saturday in October gains traction
SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) – An online petition calling for the change of this year’s Halloween date to the last Saturday of October is getting closer to its goal.
The Change.org petition, which was launched in 2018 by the trade organization Halloween & Costume Association, has garnered more than 59,000 signatures.
The goal is 75,000 signatures.
The petition argues that moving Halloween from Thursday to Saturday would allow for more time for celebration.
“It makes more sense to have it always on a Saturday so that we don’t have to worry about getting the kids home and in bed early for school the next day.” Danielle Paris commented on the petition. “Also, for most people, they wouldn’t have to worry about working that day or the day following.”

Liberal Hollywood actress and singer Bette Midler suggested on Wednesday that President Donald Trump has paid black people to pose in campaign photos — calling this a “blackground.”
Sharing a photo from a recent campaign rally, Midler seemed befuddled that Trump could have any African-American supporters.
“Look, there are African-American men in this shot!” she wrote.
“How much did he pay them to be ‘blackground’?” she also said, offering no evidence for her claim.
Trump won only eight percent of African-American voters in the 2016 presidential election, yet hisapproval rating with black voters has reached a number as high as 40 percent.
But for a moment, let’s forget about all that — and focus on what Midler is actually saying.

“We should be cutting Huawei off and trying to kill it,” advised Gordon Chang, columnist at the Daily Beast and author of The Coming Collapse of China, in a Tuesday interview on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Tonight with hosts Rebecca Mansour and Joel Pollak.
Chang explained how the Trump administration can “kill” Huawei, the world’s largest telecommunications infrastructure manufacturer, in order to prevent China’s pursuit of global telecommunications dominance.

Trump reelection campaign hauls in more than $200,000 selling Trump straws
While President Trump has often deemed the climate crisis a "hoax," his recent campaign haul by selling reusable straws is far from "fake news." Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale said over Twitter that the president's reelection campaign sold more than 140,000 straws which are listed on the president's campaign site at $15 a pop.
"That is over $200,000 raised. More than half of all Straw purchasers were BRAND NEW small dollar donors. Amazing!" said Parscale. The campaign lists the pack of straws with the following caption for MAGA supporters:
"Liberal paper straws don't work. STAND WITH PRESIDENT TRUMP and buy your pack of recyclable straws today."
OCPD identifies three suspects in large jewelry theft
Ocean City Police have identified three people who allegedly employed a distraction-type rouse to rip-off more than $8,000 in jewelry from a Boardwalk merchant, with one party currently in custody and two others awaiting extradition to Worcester County.
OCPD Deputy Communications Manager Ashley Miller said detectives with the Major Crimes Unit were contacted about a theft of roughly $8,500 from a jewelry store on the Boardwalk that occurred in May.
“This theft was brought to our attention when employees noticed that a display rack of men’s jewelry was missing from one of the glass display cases,” she said. “The owner reviewed the store surveillance with officers to determine when the display rack was taken.”
Miller said after examining the stores surveillance footage, City Watch cameras and license plate readers on roadway entrances to Ocean City, investigators were able to identify three suspects.
Two of the individuals, Jonathan Friday, 55, and Fabria Scandolari, 36, both of Voorhees, New Jersey were subsequently arrested in their area of residence.
