“As the 2020 presidential race ramps up, plenty of top Democrats we talk to would prefer new energy and faces to Clinton nostalgia/redemption,” Axios reports.

That’s an understatement.

Eighteen months after the American people told Hillary exactly where to go, the soulless political operative the great William Safire called a “congenital liar,” is everywhere. Promoting her whiny What Happened memoir and hurting her party by keeping her almost innumerable misdeeds front and center. Likening Republicans to Klansmen and Nazis. Supporting the left-wing Resistance to President Trump. Embarrassing her fellow Democrats with her abusive rhetoric aimed at half of America.

In recent travels overseas, Hillary has been badmouthing President Trump and her fellow Americans. During a March visit to India, Hillary viciously unloaded on her enemies – in particular, the 63 million Americans who voted for President Trump in 2016. Ordinary Americans are pessimistic, racist, sexist hicks, she said.

FOX CONSIDERS REVIVING ‘LAST MAN STANDING’ AFTER CONSERVATIVE BACKLASH

ABC may be about to learn that conservatives watch TV, too.

While the network famously canceled Tim Allen’s “Last Man Standing” last year, despite its six season success and remarkably high ratings, it looks like another network may be eyeing a reboot.

“The sixth — and final — season of the show, which skews more toward a blue-collar audience, was the network’s second most-watched comedy with 8.1 million views, behind only the seemingly untouchable ‘Modern Family,’ which scored 8.7 million in the same year,” Fox News reported shortly after its cancellation.

Even Tim Allen, who has been an outspoken Republican, was “blindsided” bY the abrupt cancellation.

Serial pooper at New Jersey high school football field turns out to be superintendent, police say

HOLMDEL, N.J. - Authorities said they cracked the case of a mysterious serial pooper targeting a high school football field in New Jersey and the identity of the suspect came as quite a surprise: a school superintendent.

The Holmdel Township Police Department said the resource officer at Holmdel High School was alerted to the feces fiasco by school staff.

According to investigators, the stool scoundrel was defecating on the field “on a daily basis.”

The resource officer, along with some staff, surveilled the field for the dastardly defecator and identified the suspect as 42-year-old Thomas Tramaglini. He lives several miles from the high school, but is the superintendent of Kenilworth Public Schools, another school district in New Jersey.

Man who got stuck in wall crawled into his own tomb

The man found dead in a women’s bathroom wall in Canada died accidentally when he crawled into a vent behind a toilet — and became trapped for two days, police said.

The corpse was discovered Monday by a maintenance worker who was called in to fix a broken toilet in the women’s bathroom at Core Shopping Centre in Calgary.

The unidentified man, who was in his 20s, is believed to have crawled on top of a 7-foot pony wall used to hide utilities Friday night, Calgary police said in a statement.He was alone at the time.

Veterans say anti-malarial drug they were ordered to take isn't in medical records

If you served in the United States military or traveled to a part of the world that's prone to malaria, you may have been prescribed a small white pill called Mefloquine, sold under the brand name, Lariam.

Many veterans, former Peace Corps volunteers and other world travelers now say that weekly anti-malarial pill ravaged their lives, causing psychiatric and physical damage that is getting progressively worse each year.

An Army veteran named Sean, who asked us to withhold his last name, said he took mefloquine while serving in Afghanistan from 2003 to 2004. He was 21 years old and didn't consider questioning orders.

New Emergency Regulations for Hooks, Bait, Striped Bass — May 16 through Oct. 12

The Administrative, Executive and Legislative Review Committee has approved emergency regulations pertaining to hooks, bait and striped bass. The committee has approved these regulations on a temporary basis through Oct. 12, 2018.

Effective May 16, in the Chesapeake Bay and its tidal tributaries:

1. Anglers must use circle hooks when live-lining or chumming;
2. Anglers must use circle hooks or "J" hooks when using fish, crabs or worms as bait, or when using processed baits; and
3. The minimum size for striped bass is 19 inches.

Additionally, the department is moving forward with the normal regulation process, which would keep these temporary regulations effective through the 2018 and 2019 fishing seasons.

The department is accepting public comment on these regulatory changes through May 29, 2018, and has also scheduled a hearing, which will be held at 6 p.m. May 17, 2018, at the Annapolis Friends Meeting House located at 351 Dubois Road, Annapolis, Maryland 21401. Rod Rosenstein is doing a star turn as principled defender of the law, but he’s performed abysmally as deputy attorney general and President Trump would be fully justified in firing him.

The leaked questions special counsel Robert Mueller wants to ask Trump in a prospective deposition are, if accurate, a sign that Mueller has spun out of control on Rosenstein’s watch. The questions suggest a free-floating investigation of the president’s motives, undertaken by a subordinate of the president. This is unlike any special-counsel investigation we’ve ever seen and represents a significant distortion of our system.

GUNS AND GUTS: WHY EFFETE MEDIA FEAR REAL MEN

Sometimes an event happens that has a meaning beyond itself. A few months ago, Sutherland Springs, Texas, experienced the worst church shooting in U.S. history. Dozens of people were killed by a 26-year-old with an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle. Thankfully, he was stopped cold by Stephen Willeford who lived nearby – and had an AR-15 of his own.

Inside all this horror stands the secure knowledge of what one “good guy with a gun” can do if he has the heart. But it touched me also to learn that this hero (he says he’s not) had been an NRA instructor who spent much of his time teaching kids the meaning and purpose of firearms – and how to handle the responsibility.

First I should say, I was one of those “kids” – I had learned to shoot during my middle school years, thanks to an NRA training program at summer camp. I got good enough to compete with other boys who lived in the Tri-State area surrounding Manhattan.

By my senior year at Trinity School, I had already developed an appreciation for the spirit behind the Second Amendment, and how it related to my country. I was captain of the rifle team and regularly carried my Remington 22 on the New York City subway. No one cared, although they knew what was in my rifle case.

First Death Reported in E. Coli Outbreak Tied to Romaine Lettuce

The first death from an ongoing outbreak of E. coli tied to romaine lettuce has been reported in California, federal health officials said Wednesday.

The outbreak -- tied to lettuce grown in Arizona -- has now also spread to half of the 50 states, with 23 more cases reported since the last update on Friday, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said.

So far, a total of 121 cases of illness caused by a particularly virulent strain of E. coli O157:H7 have been reported.

No 2018 Nobel Prize in Literature, Panel Says Amid Sex Scandal

STOCKHOLM — The Swedish panel that awards the Nobel Prize in Literature said on Friday that it would take the extraordinary step of not naming a laureate this year — not because of a shortage of deserving writers, but because of the infighting and public outrage that have engulfed the group over a sexual abuse scandal.

The Swedish Academy said it would postpone the 2018 award until next year, when it will name two winners, making this the first year since World War II that the panel has decided not to bestow one of the world’s most revered cultural honors. The academy is involved only in the literature award, so other Nobel Prizes are not affected.

Newest Mueller Prosecutor Donated To Hillary Clinton

The latest addition to special counsel Robert Mueller’s team of prosecutors contributed to Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign, according to federal campaign records.

Uzo Asonye, an assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, is joining Mueller’s stable of prosecutors to work as local counsel on the case against Paul Manafort, President Donald Trump’s former campaign chairman who has been indicted on money laundering and bank fraud charges.

Asonye worked at the firm O’Melveny & Myers before joining the U.S. attorney’s office in 2010. Asonye donated $900 to Clinton’s presidential campaign from January to April 2008, according to Federal Election Commission records. He has not donated to any other national political campaigns since then.

Federal judge accuses Mueller's team of 'lying,' trying to target Trump: 'C'mon man!'

A federal judge on Friday harshly rebuked Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team during a hearing for ex-Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort – suggesting they lied about the scope of the investigation, are seeking “unfettered power” and are more interested in bringing down the president.

"You don't really care about Mr. Manafort,” U.S. District Judge T.S. Ellis III told Mueller’s team. “You really care about what information Mr. Manafort can give you to lead you to Mr. Trump and an impeachment, or whatever."

Further, Ellis demanded to see the unredacted “scope memo,” a document outlining the scope of the special counsel’s Russia probe that congressional Republicans have also sought.

RED WAVE? Poll Shows Republicans Could Pick Up 9 Senate Seats

According to new Morning Consult polls, Democrats are in serious trouble in Senate races across the country. Republicans have serious leads in West Virginia, where incumbent Democrat Joe Manchin trails by 14 points; North Dakota, where incumbent Democrat Heidi Heitkamp trails by 8; Indiana, where incumbent Democrat Joe Donnelly trails by 5; Missouri, where incumbent Democrat Claire McCaskill trails by 5; Montana, where incumbent Democrat Jon Tester trails by 5; Florida, where incumbent Democrat Bill Nelson is locked in a near-deadlock with Rick Scott; and Pennsylvania and Ohio, where incumbent Democrats Bill Casey and Sherrod Brown are leading by less than two points each, plus Virginia, where Tim Kaine leads by just 3 on the generic ballot. In the best-case scenario for Republicans, then, they could win up to nine additional Senate seats.

The polls are similarly shoddy in the House of Representatives for Democrats. The RealClearPolitics poll average for the generic ballot has Democrats up 6.7%, but the polls are all over the place: The Economist/YouGov has Democrats with a 3-point lead, Quinnipiac has Democrats with an 8-point lead, as does Monmouth.

Irony Defined: Eric Holder's Firm Enlisted By Facebook To Investigate Bias Against Conservatives

The amount of irony here is astounding. Leftist liberal and former attorney general Eric Holder’s firm was enlisted by the leftists over at Facebook to investigate the social media giant’s bias against conservatives. There couldn’t be a more humorously ironic story than this one.

At first, it seemed like Facebook might be trying to do the right thing: investigate the bias against those who aren’t leftists using the social media platform.

The tech company enlisted a team from law firm Covington and Burling to advise them on combating perceptions of bias against conservatives. But there’s one minor detail that Breitbart happened to pick up on: Covington and Burling is the firm of Barack Obama’s left-wing former attorney general, Eric Holder.

Eric Holder was a part of the very administration that weaponized the IRS against conservatives during Barack Obama’s reign of terror.

NBC, ABC Correct Story That Cohen's Phone Was Wiretapped

NBC and ABC News both issued corrections Thursday evening after reporting earlier in the day that President Trump’s personal attorney Michael Cohen had his phone wiretapped by federal investigators. The networks clarified that Cohen had not been wiretapped.

NBC first reported that “Cohen's phone lines had been wiretapped, meaning a judge had given investigators approval to listen to phone calls.”

The original story reporting the wiretap cited two sources with knowledge of the legal proceedings.

However, after three senior U.S. officials disputed that report, the network issued a correction. The officials said the monitoring of Cohen’s calls was limited to a log of calls which simply monitors incoming and outgoing calls to a number rather than listening in on them.

Multiple meth smuggling cases thwarted at Texas Checkpoint

FALFURRIAS, Texas – On Tuesday, agents assigned to the Falfurrias Checkpoint referred a Chevrolet Cruze to the secondary inspection area. While in secondary, the passenger, an adult male, was determined to be illegally in the United States.

Agents also discovered four bundles of methamphetamine, weighing over 11 pounds and worth an estimated $373K, hidden inside the vehicle.

The driver and methamphetamine were turned over to Homeland Security Investigations.

Later that evening, Falfurrias Checkpoint agents referred the driver of a tractor-trailer to the secondary inspection area after a K-9 alerted. Agents discovered nearly 70 pounds of methamphetamine, worth over $2.1M, inside the cab.

The United States citizen driver and narcotics were turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
