There’s more evidence that renters are just as likely to be struggling as homeowners.
A typical renter in Miami would need to spend nearly 50% of his or her income to rent a one-bedroom apartment, but a typical millennial renter would need to spend 54% of his or her income in that city, according to a new analysis of rental listings by real estate site Trulia. In Los Angeles, millennials pay nearly 39% of their monthly rent versus 34% for the average renter. In New York, they pay as much as the average renter (34%) and pay slightly less than the average renter in San Francisco (33.5% versus for the average renter 37%).
The solution is simple, though maybe not ideal for everyone: In America’s biggest rental markets, a renter can save on average 13% of his or her income by getting a roommate. While splitting an apartment with a roommate will save money, the benefits of sharing a living space vary from city to city, home to home. In Miami, millennials save 19% of their income in a two-bedroom apartment and they can save 14% in Los Angeles and New York, but only 9.5% in Washington, D.C. In all cases, except Miami, they can pay less than 30% of their income on rent by having a roomie.

CPAC straw poll: 80 percent say Trump realigning the conservative movement
Conservative activists overwhelmingly support President Trump's opening acts in the White House and believe he is realigning the conservative movement, according to the Conservative Political Action Conference straw poll results released Saturday.
Overall, 86 percent of CPAC attendees approve of the job Trump has done during the first month, while over 80 percent believe he is "realigning" the conservative movement going forward. The results, which were released at the tail-end of the conference, show that Trump receives support from wide swaths of conservatives.

Gas prices stable as U.S. boosts production
Gas prices remained stable in Delaware during the past week as the spring and summer driving season approaches.
The price at the pump averaged $2.21 in the state, down a penny from a week ago.
Wilmington-based AAA Atlantic reported that during the past week, retail gas averages moved downward by only a cent or two.
Prices continue to remain flat due to less driving and an oversupplied market, due to increased U.S. production. New individual and commercial vehicles are also more fuel efficient, putting further pressure on prices.

Most Illegal Immigrants Live In America's Metropolitan Areas
Having exposed $27 Billion reasons why a number of America's city officials are up in arms over President Trump's sanctuary city defunding decision, we thought it worth investigating just where the most illegal (or undocumented or unauthorized - pick your politically correct term) immigrants reside in America.
Across America, there are over 300 governmental jurisdictions claiming "sanctuary status." Of those governments, there are 106 cities, while the rest are states, counties or other units of government.
The new U.S. administration wants to overhaul America’s migration system, cracking down on undocumented migrants. As Statista's Dyfed Loeche reports, in total there are an estimated 11.1 million unauthorized migrants in the U.S. of which some 6.75 million took refuge in the big metropolitan areas, according to data collected by the Pew Research Center. Some of these metro areas have so-called sanctuary cities at their center.

Storm chasers honor 'Twister' star with GPS tribute
Nearly 200 storm chasers paid tribute Sunday to the late actor Bill Paxton by spelling out his initials using GPS coordinates on a map depicting the heart of Tornado Alley.
The effort coordinated by Spotter Network spelled out "BP" to honor the leading man in the disaster movie "Twister," which inspired a generation of storm chasers.
Storm chasers and storm spotters have spelled out the initials of fellow chasers in the tight-knit community four or five times before, but never for a non-chaser, said John Wetter, president of the nonprofit that tracks the positions of tornado chasers and works with the National Weather Service to update weather forecasts.
"There are probably hundreds, if not thousands, of meteorologists today — myself included — who were impacted by the movie 'Twister' and the role Bill played in that," Wetter told The Associated Press in a phone interview. " 'Twister' was kind of the first time in a mass media place the meteorologist became cool, if only for a little while."

Hillary Clinton Calls For 'Resistance': "We Need To Stay Engaged... I'll Be With You Every Step Of The Way"
Last month we noted that Hillary Clinton is looking to start her own “fabulous” TV show in an effort to remain relevant following a disastrous Presidential election loss in 2016. The show, according to an insider, would be “completely controlled” and will likely focus on undermining the efforts of President Donald Trump, while whipping her supporters into a frenzy.
Now, in a three minute video address to fellow Democrats, the former Secretary of State says she is going to keep the fight going with the help of former President Barrack Obama and his wife Michelle, who incidentally, recently started their own organization aimed at marginalizing the new Trump administration.
The challenges we face as a party and a country are real. So, now more than ever, we need to stay engaged in the field and online, reaching out to new voters, young people and everyone who wants a better, stronger and fairer America.

The Jeep overturned and ejected Cadet James D. Watts, 22, of the Camden-Wyoming area, who was a passenger in the right-front seat.

” Climate Change ” / Everyone is on One Side of the Boat
It has become religion to believe in global warming, excuse me climate change. In fact, apparently now it’s been shortened to just climate, as in “climate denier”. Uh sorry, but haven’t we always had climate? When did someone suddenly discover we have climate? The religion around “climate” is disconcerting enough, but the strident attitude towards anyone with an opposing view is frightening. There have been calls from “reputable” people to prosecute anyone with a different viewpoint. The “climate” scheme/racket has been built around fraud. In 2007, U.N. “scientists” warned we only have eight years left to deal with “global warming” – oops. (Back in 2007, global warming was the trendy term, now it’s climate change.) Also in 2007, U.N. “scientists” warned us that only carbon taxes will save us. Sound familiar. So they’re going to take totally fraudulent science, basically fake news, and cripple the world economy, just so the disgusting globalists can line their own pockets. And harm possibly billions of good, honest people in the process. While not warning of/researching a potential climate disaster awaiting us if the global cooling issue is the real problem.
The “science” promoted by the grotesque (in many ways) hypocrites who attend Davos, is generally being used to enrich themselves and their globalist elitist comrades. They could care less about climate change. But how they have gotten most scientists, universities, MSM, SJWs, and mainstream politicians in all countries to join in is beyond me. The ones who are doing it purely for the money is easy to understand (yet disgusting), but how about the others. Like those who are seeing zero cash flow from their zealotry. And what if the Earth is not actually warming at all? What if it’s actually beginning to cool – significantly? Is a new Maunder minimum staring right at us? Some villified and ridiculed (and brave and ethical) scientists believe so. Professor Valentina Zharkova has done some troubling research which goes far beyond the normal 11 year solar cycle. She and her colleagues are quite concerned about another Maunder minimum, which itself was part of the Little Ice Age, fast approaching.

When Should Teens Be Tried As Adult?
ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — Luis Padilla remembers the terror he felt as a 16-year-old arrested on a robbery charge and locked up with adults in New York City’s notorious Rikers Island jail. At one point, he pretended to be suicidal so he could be placed in the relative safety of a locked observation cell.
“Even now if I see a Rikers bus, I start to get jumpy and scared,” said Padilla, now 23, who was released after two months and now works nights at a warehouse in Harlem.
New York and North Carolina are the last two states that still prosecute all 16- and 17-year-olds as adults in criminal court and house many in adult facilities. But changes may be coming.

The Empire’s Nightmare
Methinks the insane hysteria over Russia needs to stop. It probably will not. For reasons of domestic and imperial politics, the American public is again being manipulated into a war frenzy by Washington and New York. It is stupid, without justification, and dangerous.
The silliness over Russia is, obviously, part of the Establishment’s drive to get rid of Trump. Yes, the man is erratic, contradictory, shoots before he aims, backs off much of what he has promised, and may be unqualified as President–but that is not why Washington and New York want to get rid of him. It is about money and power, as is everything in the United States. Wall Street, the Pentagon, the Neocons, and the Empire run America. Trump has threatened their rice bowls.

Goucher Poll: Hogan Approval Rating 63%, Down From September
A new Goucher College Poll is out this morning, and it finds 63-percent of voters surveyed either approve or strongly approve of the job Republican Larry Hogan is doing as Maryland Governor.
Poll director Mileah Kromer says the 63-percent approval rating is the same as it was in poll in February of last year, but it is down from the 70-percent Hogan received in the Goucher Poll conducted in September.
Seventeen-percent of those polled disapproved of the job Hogan was doing and 20-percent did not know.
Breaking down the numbers by party, Hogan has a 52-percent approval rating among Democrats, a 91-percent approval rating among Republicans, and a 61-percent approval rating among independents.
Sixty-two percent say Maryland is heading in the right direction, 22 percent say Maryland is going down the wrong track, and 16 percent don’t know.

Pelosi: We Had to Take Your Doctor Away -- For Your Own Good
Then-President Obama and then-Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi pledged in 2009 that if you like your doctor, you could keep your doctor.
The two Democrats were bent on overhauling health care in the United States, but Americans were wary. Lots of them liked their health, and liked their long-time doctors. They were all for lower costs, but they figured that the people they elected would listen to that one demand: We want to keep our doctors.
"If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. If you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan," Obama said before the Affordable Care Act passed. (Politifact in 2013 named that statement "Lie of the Year.") Pelosi followed suit, and then made her bizarre argument that "we have to pass the [health care] bill so that you can find out what’s in it....”
