Judicial Watch has obtained 216 pages of documents containing official emails of former Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson and three other DHS officials sent through private, unsecured, email accounts, the organization announced Monday.
The documents include sensitive emails talking about high-level meetings Johnson had planned with the Kuwaiti ambassador and officials from the Saudi Arabian Interior Ministry, as well as a West African $4.5 million online consumer fraud scam.
Among the information revealed in the emails released was Johnson gave a "Progress Report" speech in which he cited the DHS's "strides in cybersecurity."

Dems Are in a Supreme Mess of Their Own Making
Exactly one year ago today, on February 13, 2016, one of America’s most noted jurists died, leaving a gaping hole on the U.S. Supreme Court. Associate Justice Antonin Gregory Scalia concluded his almost three-decade tenure of distinction that began in 1986. Known for his wit but also his enduring originalist constitutional approach from our land’s highest court, Justice Scalia left his legacy on the Court, just as President Ronald Reagan would’ve surmised.
But, on this February 13, the nomination to fill this prestigious position previously held by the conservative anchor of the Court is rife with rancor of Washington politics. The stench filling the nostrils of the American public comes directly from the hypocritical rot on the Left.
Remember, this was the crowd screeching that the results of the November 8th election must be accepted as they anticipated the coronation of their propped-up candidate, Hillary Clinton. Yet the confirmation of President Donald Trump’s cabinet is happening at a slower pace than other presidents' first terms. According to the Washington Free Beacon, “Not since President George Washington’s initial formation of a cabinet in 1789 has an American president’s cabinet picks been approved as slowly as the Senate is approving President Donald Trump’s nominees.”
Why? The Left’s Cupcake Nation not only refuses to accept the election, they are rejecting the voice of the American public daily by delaying and obstructing Trump’s cabinet nominees. This includes tactics such as a boycott of a Senate hearing and the political theatrics of rhetoric that include references to Hitler, fascism and the declaration that the end of our Republic has arrived.
Likely to be one of the grandest of their hypocrisies is the confirmation process of Judge Neil Gorsuch, currently serving on the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and nominated to replace Scalia on the Supreme Court. Eleven years ago, Gorsuch was unanimously approved by the Senate. The 109th Congress was comprised of a Senate with 45 Democrats who all supported Gorsuch.

Secret Israeli Operation Brings Tons of Winter Supplies to Syrian Refugees
A clandestine Israeli initiative has gathered over a hundred tons of winter supplies bound for Syrian refugees who have no idea that the donations come from the so-called enemy state next door.
Identifying tags and Hebrew logos have been removed from 3,000 boxes of blankets, coats, sleeping bags, gloves and boots in order “to protect the effort and the recipients,” a statement from the organizers of “Operation Human Warmth” said.
Jointly organized by Zionist youth movement HaNoar HaOved VeHaLomed, Dror Israel and the Combat Genocide Association, the supplies will be handed over to another aid organization that will distribute the items to the refugees. The sensitive nature of the mission means the exact date and method of delivery have not been revealed.
Gilad Perry, Dror Israel’s international collaborations director, said he was moved by the amount of Israelis – Jewish, Arab and Druze – who came together for the operation.
“I thought people would be reluctant to support an effort they would not get credit for,” Perry said. “I was amazed to see how wrong I was. The generosity of people just caring for those who suffer from the cold winter on the other side of the border, in an ‘enemy country,’ overwhelmed me.”

School Superintendent Bans Forks In Cafeteria To Keep Students From Stabbing Each Other
Sto-Rox High School in the gritty Pittsburgh suburb of McKees Rocks is the site of the new fork-free policy, according to local NBC affiliate WPXI.
The superintendent, Frank Dalmas, implemented the policy and other draconian measures last week to keep students in line.
There have been fights involving injuries. (It’s not clear if these fights are fork-related.) There has been drug use in bathrooms.

A new recession is coming, and Donald Trump needs it to begin sooner rather than later. As I explained last week, most American voters tend to care about their pocketbooks more than anything else. The latest media misfire on the Trump administration involves Ibtihaj Muhammad, a New Jersey native who made headlines last year when she became the first female Muslim-American to win an Olympic medal for the United States.
Muhammad, a lifelong American citizen, claimed in an interview last week that she was detained "just a few weeks ago" by U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents. She said she was held for two hours without explanation.

Governor Hogan & Comptroller Peter Franchot Visit Salisbury
The Governor has been drilled for more then a year over his support, (or lack thereof) of President Trump. Once again the Governor refused to show any support toward the President every single County on the Eastern Shore overwhelmingly voted for.
You cannot pat yourself on the back for opening a Call Center and talk Economic Development by creating some 25 jobs. Why, because these are government jobs and not a part of the private sector. These jobs come courtesy of the taxpayers.
As for the $1,000,000.00 for Downtown Salisbury, while this is very nice, it's lipstick on a pig. Mayor Day is simply dressing up the Downtown for future low income housing and will clearly relocate out of the current Downtown area. Sure, it works for the time being while he is the temporary Mayor, look ahead 20 years and know well ahead of time that you've been warned of what's to come. Jake is simply padding his political reputation for a higher political career down the road. Graphs, charts and drawings are for children's books and not adult reality. But crime is down, right?

Rollins Resigns as Cecil County State’s Attorney, After Conviction on Sex-Related Charges; Kept Collecting Salary for Months
Edward D.E. “Ellis” Rollins III has resigned as Cecil County State’s Attorney, after clinging to his job and its nearly $150,000 taxpayer-paid salary and benefits for months after he was charged with indecent exposure and disorderly conduct stemming from alleged sex-related incidents in Ocean City.
He is scheduled to be sentenced on Tuesday 2/14/2017 in Worcester County Circuit Court for his 12/9/2016 conviction on two charges after a two-day jury trial. He was found not guilty on two other counts, one each of indecent exposure and disorderly conduct.
For the two charges on which Rollins was convicted, “indecent exposure” is a misdemeanor, punishable by a maximum of three years in prison and/or a fine of up to $1,000. In addition, “disorderly conduct” is a misdemeanor, punishable by a sentence of 60 days in jail and/or a $500 fine.
