Police release dashcam of Taraji P Henson's son being pulled over
Video has emerged of the LAPD pulling over the 20-year-old son of Taraji P. Henson that appears to refute claims made by the Empire actress that he was racially profiled by police.
Henson hit headlines earlier this week by revealing in an interview that her son, Marcel Henson, was stopped in Glendale for no reason, then doing 'exactly everything the cops told him to do, including letting them illegally search his car'.
'It was bogus because they didn't give him the ticket for what he was pulled over for,' she told Interview magazine.
However the just-surfaced dashcam footage, taken in October last year, shows that Henson drove through a lighted crosswalk as a pedestrian walked across.
After being questioned, Henson admitted to having marijuana and Ritalin on him.
He was also found to hash oil, a grinder and a knife.

'I'm Not Playing This Game': Fed-Up Cop Smashes Car Window During Traffic Stop

A video of a Vancouver police sergeant, who smashed a motorist’s window, has raised questions about the rights drivers have when they are pulled over by police. The testy exchange caught on video shows the unidentified driver opening his window just a crack and infuriating the police officer by not stepping out of the vehicle when he was told to do so. Instead, the driver repeatedly asked the police officer for an explanation for why he was pulled over. “Hit the brakes, you moron,” the police officer says. “Sir, why have you pulled me over?” the unidentified driver replies. The police officer says in the video that he can smell marijuana and warns the driver he will smash the window if he does not comply. “I’m gonna break the window now in two seconds,” the officer says, right before breaking the window. The mystery motorist, who calls himself Bodhi Sattva on YouTube, posted that he was physically assaulted and traumatized by the arrest and was found not to be impaired. He did not respond to CBC’s request for comment. According to the Vancouver police, the incident — which happened in November — resulted in the driver being charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession for the purposes of trafficking and obstructing a police officer.

Soldiers make deathly ill boy’s dream come true — by making him one of their own
A little 8-year-old boy battling a rare disorder had but one dream in his young life — to become a member of the military.
That dream became a reality on Friday for Rowan Windham, when he was made an honorary member of the Texas National Guard during a special enlistment ceremony, KHOU reported.
Rowan has spent about a third of his life in hospitals, undergoing 71 operations and dozens of blood transfusions in his fight against Shwachman-Diamond Syndrome, which affects his pancreas, gastro-intestinal tract, immune system, blood and bone marrow.
Shwachman Diamond Syndrome does respond to aggressive treatment, but mortalities have been reported according to MyBreathingJourney.com. Even if it is cured, a feature of the disease may last a lifetime.
Despite all that he’s gone through, he always kept his dream alive. The surprise ceremony at Camp Mabry in Austin was enthusiastically attended by hundreds of national guardsmen and women — Rowan’s new comrades-in-arms.
“We’re going to invite him to be an honorary soldier and have over 21,000 airmen and soldiers in his family now,” Brig. Gen. Sean Ryan told the station while displaying a huge grin.

Mother accused of leaving daughter in dumpster worked at day care
The suspect, Alicia Carroll, was a teacher at Small Miracles Academy.
Surveillance video from Saturday night showed Carroll and her daughter at King Spa in Northwest Dallas.
The business said Carroll left without paying for services.

Documents obtained by Daily Mail Online show that the pastor and televangelist was threatened with prison for failing to hand over documents that would reveal the source of his income.
He was held in contempt of court - carrying the possibility of prison - during a messy divorce between boxer Evander Holyfield and his second wife.
The preacher refused to cooperate in the civil case.
A judge even wrote a personal letter to Creflo pleading with him as a 'man of God' to comply with the law.
